Riad Elli Marrakech

Stay well clear of this property. We stayed for about 10 hours and left. The property looked nothing like the pictures. I booked a room with a view. We got a room with no window... it was a very scary experience. I would not recommend this place at all. We asked for a refund for the free nights as we had to leave and find another hotel. The Owner wouldn't refund.. absolutely disgusting this Otel should not be on Booking.com

Nuestra estancia fue genial, el Riad es precioso y está muy céntrico, a 15 minutos andando de la plaza Jemma El Fna. El personal súper amable y siempre tratando de ayudarnos. El desayuno estaba muy bueno, incluso cuando teníamos excursiones, nos daban desayuno para llevárnoslo. Hemos estado muy bien y muy a gusto. Lo recomendamos sin ninguna duda. Volveremos a Marrakech y volveremos al Riad Elli.

No hay nada negativo

The staff was impeccable! Hassan and Samir made sure we had a great stay! The location was also very good, and even though you had to walk through a little bit of smaller streets, i never felt unsafe. The breakfast was our favorite part.

Any small inconveniences were quickly managed by the staff, but the room we had first booked had a power outage, so we had to change to the lower room.

Riad Elli perfect place to stay, the facilities were perfect with comfortable rooms and a lovely terrace. Our host was very polite and friendly and was happy to help whenever needed. Breakfast was very good. Perfect distance from the main square and the souks

Samir was most hospitable and looked after us as if we were family members, taking care of every request we made good naturedly – shukran Samir. I said the ease of our stay must be partly due to the proximity of the resting place of Imam Souhayli, one of the ‘seven saints of Marrakesh’ – certainly the Riyad is very peaceful and easy going. My three main boxes were well-ticked: hot water 24/7, comfortable mattress & good wifi – and we were within walking distance of the Qutubia mosque and Djema Fana, with local shops nearer by.

Our room was a little cramped for husband and wife to be able to do the prayer together – but in fact it was possible to do the prayer on the roof terrace, which was cool during the night and at dawn … and exposed to a refreshing breeze under a shady awning during mid-day and mid-afternoon – so mafi mushkila, no problem. As regards taxis from and to the airport, the drop-off and pick-up point was outside Hopital Ibn Zohr – a short walk to and from Riyad Elli – and help to carry our luggage was swiftly at hand – so mafi mushkila, no problem. Thank you for a lovely stay 🙂

The staff were very helpful and friendly from before we arrived, from arranging an airport pick up to giving us general city advice! The staff go above and beyond, from meeting us at the taxi drop off point to being easily reachable via messages. The staff are attentive and Breakfast was provided every day we were there at the allocated times. The room (we stayed in the one on the ground floor) was clean and had very good AC, the shower and toilet located in the room were also clean - I shall also add that the room was beautiful and spacious. Overall great hospitality and facilities which helped us to enjoy our week stay.

The only thing I may add is that the Wifi was weak at points however when exploring the city for most of the day (as you should!) that hardly impacted our stay.

Lokacije je blizu centra (peš dobrih 10 minut). Soseska je varna. Dober zajtrk. Zelo ustrežljivo in prijazno osebje. Dobro delovanje klime v sobi. Hitrost Wi-Fi-ja je bila dobra. Lep prostor na terasi z lepim razgledom.

Morda manjka kakšna polička za odlaganje.

Les gérants étaient très arrangeants et serviables. Ce sont sûrement les seuls à n’avoir pas essayé de nous arnaquer durant le séjour, ça fait du bien de relâcher la pression à la maison.

Ces affreux richous de la Mamounia qui décidèrent de faire un mariage avec le pire dj possible sur une sono de teknival jusque 3 du mat le dernier jour. Bien entendu le Riad n’y est pour rien :)

Le Riad est très agréable. Nous avions la chambre sur la terrasse, c’était très agréable. La chambre était propre et chaque jour le ménage était fait. Samir est un hôte très accueillant qui va vous conseiller dans votre découverte de Marrakech. La communication qui se fait via WhatsApp est très fluide (pour réserver des repas, des petits dej etc). L’emplacement proche du jardin de la mamounia est très agréable, c’est calme. Merci Samir !

Sehr lieber Host und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren und morgens früh zum Flughafen mussten, kann ich nichts zum Frühstück sagen. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein, aber schön eingerichtet.

Personál byl velmi vstřícný. Ubytování se nám líbilo pro jeho kouzlo místní architektury. Lokalita byla k blízkosti centra dobrá.

L'accueil des plus agréables de Samir ainsi que son super petit déjeuner. L'emplacement parfait pour se rendre à pieds au centre ville, le calme, la petite terrasse. Un grand merci a Samir qui nous a même contacté après notre départ par WhatsApp pour nous remercier et ne pas hésiter à le contacter pour tout besoin . EXCEPTIONNEL 💕

La chambre est correcte et de bonne taille.

Le riad n'est pas trop mal situé pour le bruit. Malheureusement il est très mal insonorisé et on entend tout ce qu'il se passe dans les chambres d'a côté ou sur la terrasse.

Está muy cerca de muchos puntos a visitar en Marrakech, cerca De la Torre mezquita, del zoco, de la plaza Fna, Medina..a todos puedes ir andando, los anfitriones son muy serviciales, el Riad estaba limpio, con algunas pequeños cosas que se podrían mejorar, pero en general calidad-precio bien

La ubicación, está un poco escondido entre calles, nos costó un poco encontrarlo

La chambre avec la climatisation et le ménage fait tous les jours par une dame très gentille. La localisation proche de la place et pas loin de l’aéroport en taxis.

Les chambres sont mal insonorisés. On entends tous les bruits extérieurs et les discussions des autres clients. Dommage que la piscine ne soit pas entretenue et donc pas propre. Le prix du petit déjeuner cher pour ce qu’il y avait (7€ par personne) pour 2 crêpes marocaines et un œuf brouillé, un jus d’orange et une thé / café.

My stay at Riad Elli was simply wonderful. The riad is very beautiful, cozy, and comfortable, with excellent accommodations that made us feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was also very good, always fresh and prepared with care. I want to give a very special thank you to Samir, who was incredibly kind throughout our stay. Always available to help, attentive, polite, and with a very genuine energy. He made us feel truly welcome and supported at all times. More than an excellent host, he became a great friend, and that made this experience even more special and unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech 🤍

Breakfast was good, staff pleasant.

Good location, 10min walk from the center. Very friend host. Very flexible and accommodating. Great rooftop for morning coffee or sunset. Nice inner court yard.

The room are not very soundproof. You can hear everything from the lobby or other rooms

Great location, comfortable room and bathroom, and one of the loveliest hosts weve met in our time in Morocco.

On the expensive side, can find several other options that will include breakfast and have better facilities for the price paid. Having said that, we still enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed 2 nights, the second night we got another room then the first night and that room was really big, clean and perfect!

The first night we got a really small room we had literally no space to move or put our luggage. The floor was full of sand.

Un ambiente tranquillissimo e molto pulito. La terrazza di sera è uno spettacolo. Staff super gentile e disponibile(al nostro arrivo ci ha offerto l'aranciata e ci ha illustra tutto il percorso per raggiungere il riad con facilità dalla via principale. In più ci ha dato cnsigli sui ristoranti e su dove cambiare i soldi.

Niente, è tutto perfetto e lo staff è disponibile e cordiale. L'unica cosa assente rispetto a ciò che indicava booking era la presenza delle pantofole da hotel nella camera, ma come ci ha spiegato l'host è un errore di booking stesso.

The rooms and and communal space were great for the price. It is very peaceful in a very bisy city. The hospitality from Samor was great. Would reccommend for a great price and traditional stay in the Madina.

Located in the center of the city. Shops nearby in case you need last minute things. Comfy bed and air conditioning was great. The staff was very polite, and catered to all our requests. The breakfast was very delicious as we are vegetarian. Very beautiful rooftop terrace for a relaxed dinner. Good communication before and during the stay. Well lit area for women travellers since we had 1 late night trip. Taxis are nearby too. Full marks to the hotel manager, Samir, who took a good care of us and helped us with all valuable info.

Sadly room had very little empty space to move around. Hence managing open luggage was an absolute challenge (we had long stay in Morocco, hence big bags). Also would highly recommend if hotel can mention 8:30 am start time for breakfast when booking. This was unsuitable when we had day trips which meant leaving hotel earlier than 8:30. So either we had to carry or skip breakfast. Alternatively we could have booked stay without breakfast. At the time of check-in was bit surprised that cash had to be paid instead of card. Again this can be informed in advance so that tourists can plan better. Eventually hotel did accept card payments and got sorted.

De locatie was echt niet te doen, diep in de straten en als je er uit wilt komen vooral in de avond dan staan er jongens die geld willen afronselen. Totaal niet veilig. Daarnaast is de omschrijving in combinatie met de werkelijkheid gewoon niet hoe het moest zijn. Heel jammer

We stayed at this beautiful riad for four nights and truly had the best time. The property itself is lovely and very well located, making it easy to explore Marrakech. What made our stay exceptional, however, was Samir. His kindness and genuine care are something we have rarely experienced. He was always available, always ready to help with anything we needed. During a small medical emergency, he went out of his way to get us the necessary medication, which meant a lot to us. He also took great care of us in every other detail, including helping us with our luggage at all times, making sure everything was handled with ease. It was such warm and attentive hospitality. The breakfast also deserves a special mention. It was absolutely divine, generous, and full of delicious local flavors. I would strongly recommend booking with breakfast included, as it really adds to the whole experience. Samir also took the time to guide us through the city, providing a map and explaining where to go, what to see, and how to navigate everything. Thanks to him, we felt much more confident and were able to enjoy Marrakech to the fullest. Having travelled to many places, this was honestly one of the first times we felt so genuinely welcomed. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, and a big part of that is thanks to the warmth and hospitality we received here. Highly recommended.

Der Gastgeber ist hervorragend und hat bietet ein gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück an. Zudem wurde es uns ermöglich nach dem Auschecken nochmals in das Riad zurückzukehren, um die Kleidung in einem Zimmer für den Flug zu wechseln. Das Riad befindet sich fußläufig in der Nähe der wedentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Great food for dinner when it was available. Everything was easily arranged.

The cleanliness was bad, especially when it was raining. It often didn't feel like anyone was taking care of the space. Everything was also very very expensive.

Everything was great, from start to the end. The host was kind and helpful, room was cozy and clean, breakfast was diverse and the atmosphere was peaceful and friendly. The area is walking distance to the center but still very safe and calm. Thank you to our amazing host who made this experience better with all the recommendations and hopefully we will viist again.

La ubicación es muy buena para salir del caos de Jemma el fna, está a unos 10min andando. Samir es muy agradable y atento. El desayuno está muy bueno y las camas son muy cómodas.

Se nota que al estar muy en el interior los baños tienen humedades a baja altura. Además las escaleras de subida a las habitaciones son estrechas.

Hôte très gentil et serviable. Bon petit déjeuner et varié chaque jour. Très jolie chambre avec des équipements.

La salle de bain pourrait se refaire une petite beauté mais elle est très pratique et propre

Hassan è stato gentilissimo in tutto e per tutto e soprattutto super disponibile. Struttura molto carina e centrale. Colazione buonissima e fatta al momento

Es un Riad bonito con detalles como la mini piscina, la terraza sobre todo de noche, la habitación muy acogedora, cómoda, muy limpia, un baño con todo detalle incluso secador de pelo . Salíamos muy temprano para ir al aeropuerto y como no podíamos estar en el desayuno nos prepararon uno para llevar.

Tuvimos que estar bastante para poder entrar porque no había nadie en el alojamiento para abrir, cuando llegaron y nos abrieron nos sirvieron un zumo y con atendieron con mucha hospitalidad

La literie n’est pas top . La chambre, le lit et nos vêtements étaient très humide car on a pas eu de chance il a plu tous les soirs.
