The breakfast was excellent. The location was quiet, but a bit of a hike from the town centre. The view of the seafront was very good. The room was well equipped, and the wi-fi was very good. Comfortable bed.

Excellent service, great host who was very welcoming, great breakfast, the bed was so confy, was comfier than my own bed, the area was beautiful and a bonus being on the sea front. Will definitely be booking here again. A+++++

Great breakfast. No lift, so you ‘may’ have to walk up to 3rd floor depending on your room (I was on first floor). Manager is brilliant. 10 min walk along seafront onto main shops. Overall it was good and I’d stay again.

I had a lovely time at the Craigwell Hotel. The owners were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. I felt very welcome at all times. When the kettle did not work anymore it was replaced directly, they gave me tips for transport, trips and things to do. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked and a lot. The view from my room was amazing (looking at the hills from the lake district), I could also watch the beach and the sunset from my bed. There is even a bus close by that drives non stop to Windermere in the lake district. It was exactly as I hoped it would be, I couldn't have wished for more.

Bring me sunshine! It was amazing! The fantastic view, gorgeous breakfast,really lovely room with everything you needed,you guys make the place.. felt so comfortable as a solo traveller.BRILLIANT!

Nothing to dislike

We were very happy with our stay at Craigwell. John and Ed were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was always very enjoyable and varied from cereals to fried/grilled. We wouldn't hesitate in booking a room at Craigwell again and would recommend it without question. A big thank you to our hosts, we hope to return again one day when visiting Morecambe.

The owners were lovely helpful and friendly, room I had was comfortable and a decent size for a single, the view of the sea looked great. Breakfast was a delight to nice seleciton of cereals and a very tasty and fresh Full english was available, I would certainly be back if in the area

One was given a very warm welcome from my hosts even though I checked in the early evening. One's room could be best described as 'bijou'. It boasted of a sea view,, was well ventilated and had a sink. Hah I thought am I sharing facilities? No my host opened a door and there was the shower and toilet in a triangular room- how clever! There was enough room to move around when showering before one ventured out. After a comfortable evening's sleep One went down for breakfast which was served half 8 to half 9. Excellent it allowed a lie in after my travels. There was a wide range of cereal on offer- 8 to be exact as well as choice of juices. A full English was cooked to order with toast. I stayed for 2 nights and my host allowed me to leave my bag to pick up later in the day of my checkout. All in all an excellent stay. One cannot speak too highly of the quality of service on offer.

A lovely small hotel in Morecambe. The room was tiny, but very clean, with the bed facing the window so I could enjoy the sea view while lying down. Breakfast was great, but the best part was the kindness of the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, and that alone would make me return.

Being a solo traveller the value for money was exceptional! Plus breakfast included! The view from my room was everything I'd hoped for. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was much closer to the Lake District than I'd realised and public transport links are very good. Will be recommending Craigwell to friends and family....and I'm planning to stay there again later in the year.

best breakfast I had in UK since a stay at Maryport in 2016 (10yrs ago). Both were fantastic!

I can not find any fault in this property it’s clean and comfortable nothing is to much trouble my partner has a good appetite and asked for a large breakfast which was provided without hesitation room on the top floor with sea view was quickly given to us when we arrived we had a room on the back my partner asked if was possible to have one on the front as I am very partial to a see view within 10 mins we were moved it’s our 2nd time here and can’t wait to return

Excellent location on the seafront. Lovely owner who was very heloful with the luggage up to my room on the second storey and who cooked an excellent breakfast in the mornings. Very handy location for exploring Morecambe .

Parking was a bit tight at the back of the hotel.

The single room was very small

The breakfast was more than adequate. When I had a cooked breakfast it was freshly prepared.

There was no view from my room!

A wonderful stay! The room was clean, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients. I definitely recommend this hotel and will gladly return again at the next opportunity!

Very accommodating and friendly host, flexible checkin and offered to do slightly earlier breakfast as we had to catch a bus. Good duvet on bed, good choice of speciality teas in room which is unusual. Good cooked breakfast with continental options. Quiet location at night.

Ed was a fab host and the breakfast choice and quality was excellent 😀. Sea view from my room and front three windows 👏... loved that. About 15 mins walk from the station so that was good. Nice Soft towels 👍.

Clean and comfortable room. Ed was a lovely genuine host and went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Amazing hot cooked breakfast. Lots of continental choice too. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and will return.

I called in advance to ask a few questions and Ed was very helpful. Ed was waiting for me on arrival and gave a choice of rooms. I chose the 2nd floor room and had a wonderful view over the water and could hear lapping water when the tide was coming in. Such attentive, friendly and welcoming hosts, including the dog too. We sat together and shared stories. Breakfast is comprehensive with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juices, toast and a full cooked breakfast with tea or coffee. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Electric shower with good pressure and nice warm water. There is a kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room (and biscuits) I was able to make myself a cuppa and sit in the lounge overlooking the water. I even parked my car directly outside which was such a bonus.

I'm not exactly vegan but close. So I needed ask for them personalised breakfast. And they happily accepted my request. The hotel was amazingly clean everywhere! They looked after me feels like a long time friend. I definitely stay again. Thank you!!

It’s not about not liking, but the Shower/Loo area was a little tight for me, but if you’re slim, you’ll be fine

Great attention to detail and care from the owners, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was made to order and they accomodated my food allergies brilliantly. It's right on the seafront and in the centre of town so very handy. I'm LGBTQ+ and also felt very comfortable on that front.

Another excellent stay at this wonderful B&B. John and Edward and amazing, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend.

Booked for 2 nights as I was working at The Platform music venue which was a 15 minute walk away. I received a lovely warm welcome from the owner who carried my bags to my room. I booked a single room but the bed was a double which was lovely. Excellent amenities and I had a lovely cooked breakfast. I didn't make it back to the hotel until the early hours of the morning after work but this wasn't a problem as I was given keys to let myself in. Overall a wonderful stay :)
