Very nice property and room.

I made a genuine mistake by making the booking for two adults instead of an adult and a child. My son is 13 and therefore hardly ever gets any child discount anymore ( I wish!). The resort cant technically be called an "adult only" hotel (but according to the manager it is). There is only a small additional note somewhere saying we "don't accept" children. So when we checked in we were told that they had usually not approved our booking but we could stay if none of the guests " complained". Minutes later the manager came and told us that the owner had seen us on his cameras (?) and was not amused. He then accused me of giving false information on the booking website and said that my son was not allowed to shout or splash in the pool. By that point I already decided I didnt want to stay and my son felt very uncomfortable too when I told him that being too noisy could get us "evicted". So I asked the manager if maybe we could get a refund at least for the last three nights. He said there was no free cancellation. We left anyway. I'm pretty sure the owner put the room straight back on booking.com and charged twice in the end. I feel like there was no goodwill shown towards us which made it a poor booking experience.

Il bungalow molto spartano, secondo me adatto a fare pochi giorni. Serve assolutamente un motorino per muoversi (noi l’abbiamo noleggiato direttamente in struttura) e bisogna essere abbastanza bravi per fare la salita per arrivare al resort. I 900m indicati dalla spiaggia non sono fattibili a piedi

Las vistas, aunque eso hace que haya que subir una pequeña colina un poco elevada para acceder al alojamiento.

El mantenimiento del baño de la habitación y deas motocicletas no es el mejor.

Die Lage war fantastisch, ruhig und in der Nähe von einem genialen View Point , etwas höher gelegen. Die beliebte Innenstadt ist zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen.

Als Europäer ist es etwas ungewohnt, Toilettenpapier nicht ins Klo werfen zu dürfen.

Originaliteit, rustige plek, prachtig uitzicht.

Geen airco, niet geslapen, heel veel muggen. Te dure taxi-kost om naar dichtstbijzijnde eetplek te gaan. Resort heeft enkel ontbijt en de weg is heel steil en levenssgevaarlijk.

Die Aussicht in der Früh und am Abend ist wunderschön. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und organisiert sogar einen Pakettransport auf eine andere Insel! Sie organisieren auch Schnorcheltouren oder einen Taxi-Service ohne Probleme. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist top!

El hostal es precioso, con la piscina y unas vistas al mar increíbles. Hay una pequeña carta de comida y desayuno. La cabaña es muy acogedora, no es súper grande pero el tamaño perfecto. Todo estaba perfectamente limpio y el ventilador funcionaba bien. El personal muy agradable.

La ubicación está muy bien, pero si no coges moto en la isla tienes que andar un buen rato, y si la coges tienes que saber conducir porque para llegar hay que subir y bajar una carretera un poco complicada.

Everything. The location was great, quiet but still close to town. Room was clean, A/C worked very well, host was very helpful. Will be back in the future.

It's up a big hill. I had a bike, so it was fine, but if you're walking it would be a pain.

El boungalow tal cual las fotos, el hotel una maravilla y el dueño muy simpático y amable, nos ayudó en todo y además tiene varios servicios y actividades en el mismo hotel. Sin duda un acierto

Magníficas vistas desde el alojamiento. Me hicieron un upgrade por estar sobrebookeados y estuvo muy bien. Las cabañas más apartadas son las más disfrutables, después hay otras habitaciones algo cerca de la recepción. La piscina muy bien, el AC funcionaba perfecto. Se necesita moto para moverse bien. El entorno es muy tranquilo. Las camas super cómodas y hay luz de lectura, frigo, calentadora de agua, etc. Todo super limpio.

El encargado creyó que había consumido una bebida de su bar solo por verme con ella. Le tuve que explicar que la compré yo y fue algo incómodo. Nadie se queda en un sitio asi para luego querer engañar al otro con una bebida de 1.5 usd. Por lo demás todo bien, es muy lindo sitio

Best place to stay in Koh Tao if you want somewhere that you can relax and is not too far from the nightlife. Would recommend renting a scooter from the resort as it’s a steep climb. The resort also organized a half day trip for us too which was really good - saw sharks and turtles

Please make an informed decision before booking this accommodation. I made the mistake of overlooking previous reviews that raised concerns about the owner’s conduct and the safety of the rental bikes. Having now experienced this firsthand, I wish I had paid closer attention. I have travelled around Thailand for the past three months without a single negative experience, so I never imagined I would find myself writing a review like this. To be clear, the accommodation itself was not the issue. The views were lovely, the room was spacious and aside from a few minor maintenance issues, I would not have complained about the property. Unfortunately, none of that outweighs the behaviour of the owner. On 22 May, I rented a scooter from the property. No rental agreement or paperwork was provided. Before accepting the scooter, I had already returned another bike because I was concerned about the phone holder being insecure and that my phone could fall out while riding. I was then provided with a Honda Lead 125 and told that the holders were the same, though it initially appeared more secure. Shortly after leaving the property and driving downhill, the holder became loose and unstable, which consequently led to an accident. The accident caused cosmetic damage to the scooter and left me with a serious ankle injury. When I informed the owner, no responsibility was taken regarding the circumstances of the accident. Instead, I was told I owed THB 23,000 for repairs based on a visual assessment carried out by mechanic known to him. We questioned the amount and requested an independent repair assessment. We were initially told this would be possible. The following day, while recovering from my injuries, I spoke with local people and researched repair costs. The amount being demanded appeared excessive and I was informed it seemed like a scam.

La ubicación del sitio era una pasada, aunque al principio te puede parecer un poco abrupta la subida, despues le coges el rollo y es una zona muy tranquila. El personal del hotel es muy atento y está disponible para todo. Alquilamos la moto alli y fue muy comodo y rápido.

En definitiva era un buen sitio.

The best resort to stay at in Koh Tao! We stayed for 6 nights and were truly delighted with the experience. The rooms were very tidy and could be cleaned everyday at your request. The location was beautiful and not far from Sairee beach, with views from the resort. They also provided many amenities for all of your needs during the trip, including affordable taxi rides, snorkeling gear, drinks and reliable motorbikes! The staff were very kind and helpful with any questions we had, and we had some great talks with the owner! When we come back to Koh Tao we’ll definitely be staying here again!!

Está lejos de Sairee Beach,no hay restaurante cerca y se necesita moto o transporte para moverte.

The location was amazing, our first couple of nights where in the end cabin and the view was stunning. Sunsets and sunrises were a must watch!

The drive was a little tricky on a moped but after a couple goes up and down we got the knack for it

Sitio idílico pero de dificil acceso con moto si no has cogido una antes. Vistas inmejorables en la piscina, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero perfectas para descansar del dia.

No cambian las toallas

The location was very good, you do need to rent a bike as it is around 1km from centre but very hilly and thankfully they supplied motorbikes, the view from the property was magnificent looking straight out onto ocean and sunset, the pool was also a plus, the room was clean, and it had a nice porch to chill in the evening with hammock and chair. The staff were very nice and helpful also.

The showers weren’t hot

Sweetest owner!! Very accommodating and kind. The bed was very comfortable and blackout curtains were nice! The porch had a gorgeous view and the pool was also amazing!! Also just the perfect location. It’s in the right area yet far away enough to be away from the noise!!

Our door lock was broken and the shower water was not hot

The accommodation is situated in the hills of Koh Tao, overlooking the sea. It is a very calm environment, nevertheless, the vibrant centre is not far away and can be reached easily with a scooter. There is love in every detail, the rooms are great and the pool is a big plus. Scooter and snorkelling gear rental is available on the property for a fair price. The owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cozy place to every traveler who wants to have a chill experience on Koh Tao!

Nice resort with stunning views. Staff super friendly and useful, they can organise basically everything you need for you - if you need it. The rooms are nice and spacious. The location was good for us as we aren’t avid party people but you will 100% need a scooter/transport in order to reach the restaurants etc which are down a steep hill.

The bedding wasn’t the best, it was quite small compared to the bed and created a lot of static which meant if you moved around at night you were likely to shock one another. The room in general, whilst spacious, wasn’t overly comfortable. There’s a lot of hard surfaces, the bed and sofa are both surrounded/on concrete which doesn’t make chilling in the room the most comfortable.

Ohne Roller ist man halt aufgeschmissen. 1 fahrt von Saire hoch, kostet 400 bath. Das Hotel bietet aber von 8-18 Uhr vergünstigt Taxifahrten an.

The view is amazing, the staff are very nice , available and friendly, the room is big , comfortable and clean . I loved it .

Très belle vue, l’hôtel en général est très beau, le jardin la piscine etc.. Prendre en compte qu’il est obligé de louer un scooter pour se déplacer car l’accès est difficile sans.

Les bungalows sont petits et très chauds, quasi impossible de dormir la nuit. Énormément de moustiques et aucun équipement type encens, crème, etc. contre ça fournit par l’hôtel. La moustiquaire du lit est trop petite donc inutilisable.

The staff were exceptional. The owners Andrew and Peay were so lovely. Welcoming and always willing to help, as were the rest of the staff at the resort. The views were spectacular from the pool area where breakfast was available also. The room was standard but comfortable and good value for money

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich. Es gibt nichts negatives an dieser Unterkunft auszusetzen. Wunderbare Lage, wunderschöner Ausblick, tolle Preise beim Frühstück was zusätzlich total lecker war. Ich würde auf jeden Fall zurück kommen :)

La vue depuis l'hôtel est splendide, la chambre était très confortable. Beaucoup de services possibles directement depuis l'hôtel : Location de scooter, location de masques pour snorkeling, réservation de ferry, taxi...

L'hotel est légèrement excentré, un scooter est appréciable pour profiter de l'île. Le chemin pour accéder à l'hôtel est raide avec le scooter mais faisable 😊

It’s up on a hill and for the transportation you have to ride a bike or take a taxi but the taxi are really expensive compared to renting a bike.

​Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft war einfach von vorne bis hinten perfekt und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an pudelwohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war total süß und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dazu war alles extrem sauber und gepflegt. Das absolute Highlight war jedoch der Balkon mit dem wahrscheinlich schönsten Ausblick, den man über ganz Koh Tao haben kann. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an das Besitzer-Pärchen, die beiden sind einfach unglaublich lieb und hilfsbereit und haben uns mit super tollen regionalen Insider-Tipps versorgt. Auch der Service war erstklassig, da wir direkt im Hotel einen Roller mieten konnten und der Shuttle-Service zur Fähre absolut reibungslos und pünktlich funktioniert hat. Die gesamte Anlage ist einfach freundlich und einladend gestaltet. Wer eine persönliche und liebevolle Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

the pool was grim, the location was up in the mountains of koh tao so unless you’re confident on bike or love a hike the location makes this place not suitable, there was an ant infestation coming from behind our toilet

Très belle vue, la chambre est fonctionnelle et il y a une jolie terrasse. Propose également des excursions et les propriétaires sont sympathiques.

Nous avions choisi cet hotel en partie pour les services proposés, à savoir masques de snorkeling et surtout location de moto. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pu profiter d'aucun des deux pendant notre séjour de 4 nuits. En arrivant, on nous dit qu'il n'y a plus de motos (elles ont toutes déjà été reservées). En redemandant la veille de notre dernier jour, le propriétaire nous dit que c'est bon, il nous la réserve pour 9h le lendemain. Le lendemain, sa femme nous dit qu'elle a donné la moto à quelqu'un d'autre et qu'il n'y en a plus. Nous avons du réorganiser toute notre dernier journée en conséquences et avons perdu beaucoup de temps (car les autres locations de moto prennent le passeport comme caution, chose que nous refusons). Pour les masques de snorkeling, on a demandé tous les jours et ils n'en avaient jamais.

The Staff were very welcoming and helpful, the place had a lovely view and was in a quiet, peaceful location, we enjoyed the pool and surrounding areas , the room itself was large, comfortable and clean

During our stay, the hotel appeared to be transitioning to new management. As a result, several amenities were no longer available the rental bikes had been sold, which was inconvenient given the hotel's location up a steep hill. Additionally, the pool table, along with drinks and snacks, were also removed while we were there.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable and very creaky. Very loud every time that you moved, however I think this is something that can easily be fixed.

The resort was really lovely, the host Andrew was really nice and friendly and provided us with motorbikes straight away and gave us great info about the island. The unit we stayed in was so clean and nice to stay in too we would definitely come back !

The rooms are spacious. Clean fresh linen and towels supplied. Water and coffee sachets provided daily. Our dorm had a spacious living area with kettle, fridge and fan, the good size bedroom has AC, hangers for clothes and a decent sized comfortable bed with bedside tables on either side accompanied with a lamp each. There are enough plugs for charging especially as there is an extension lead. The bathroom (wet room) is a decent size with a good shower and was well stocked with toilet paper and body wash. Breakfast and other drinks /snacks available at a good price. The view and seating area was outstanding and Andrew the owner/ manager was so helpful and informative - we felt truly looked after. Andrew has been on the island for many years and knows everything you need to know to get the most out of your holiday.

This is by no means not a dislike but maybe an inconvenience and certainly a consideration. The best way to access Koh Tao is by motorbike and this is no doubt the best way up the hill to Sairee View resort. Taxi’s are quite expensive to use on a regular basis and the walk from Sairee is about 20-30mins which is tough on the hilly roads in the heat. We weren’t fully aware of this when we booked. Although bike hire is available ( at a very reasonable price ) plus tuition from Andrew, we might have chosen differently if feeling very uncomfortable at the thought of riding a motorbike. We however walked it daily. Day trips organised through Andrew do pick up from resort.

Maisema oli kaunis ja huoneet tilava. Sijainti hyvä, mutta tarvitset mopon. Paikanpäältä sai snacksia, mikä oli kiva. Myös mopon vuokraus onnistui heiltä.

Lakanat ja pyyhkeet olivat todella vanhoja ja pahan hajuisia. Pyyhkeisiin oli inhottava koskea suihkun jälkeen. Allas oli hieman likainen. Aurinkopetejä oli, mutta niissä ei ollut pehmustetta tai ollut erikseen allaspyyhekeitä. Kysyimme allaspyyhkeitä ja meille sanottiin, että ”tämä on kolmen tähden hotelli, ei resortti), mikä oli huvittavaa koska paikan nimi on Sairee View Resort. Joten palvelu oli myös hieman erikoista ja jätti vierailusta vähän erikoisen fiiliksen.

The location was perfect for us, amazing views and only a short drive from the rest of the island! Staff were helpful in renting us a bike, snorkel hire and even did our laundry for us last minute for a very good price. We loved our stay

Only having a fan in the bungalow, our fault as we should have really booked the room with aircon however we did still manage to sleep well, also the shower was salt water which left us feeling a little sticky however nothing major

Świetna lokalizacja – blisko wszystkiego, a jednocześnie cicho i spokojnie. Domki położone w ogrodzie są bardzo klimatyczne, wygodne i dobrze wyposażone. Ciepła woda bez problemu, wszystko działało bez zarzutu. Basen po zachodzie słońca robi niesamowite wrażenie – idealne miejsce na relaks. Zdecydowanie najlepszy nocleg na Koh Tao!

Le gérant a failli nous tuer !! Faites attention à toute proposition de location de scooter par l'hôtel et testez les bien avant de partir avec. Nous avons eu la malchance de louer un scooter avec des freins défectueux, nous avons même averti le gérant que nous trouvions les freins assez faibles après un premier tour bref, ils nous ont assuré qu'ils marchaient très bien. Résultat : nous avons eu un accident très violent le premier soir de notre séjour en descendant l'une des nombreuses montagnes de l'île. Alors que nous freinions sur toute la descente, et en démarrant celle-ci sans même accélerer, nous avons gagné de la vitesse au fur et à mesure sans pouvoir freiner, jusqu'à nous cracher à très grande vitesse dans une laverie. Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance et en sommes sortis avec des blessures superficielles mais avons eu des soins (et surtout un traumatisme psycologique) qui nous ont gâché la suite des vacances. En revenant à l'hôtel, le gérant m'explique le lendemain que les freins du scooter fonctionnaient très bien, et QUE NOUS N'AVONS SUREMENT PAS REUSSI A FREINER ASSEZ. Quelle blague !! Je cite monsieur : "même après l'accident, quand j'ai récupéré le scooter, je suis descendu avec et les freins fonctionnaient encore très bien" alors que le scooter n'était même plus en l'état de rouler après la gravité de l'accident. Evidemment, ils nous ont exigé de payer les réparations du scooter ainsi que les dommages occasionnés à la laverie où nous avons eu l'accident : soit 10 000 bahts au total (l'équivalent de 270€). Véritables arnaqueurs et assassins, ils nous ont fait une tirade philosophique sur le karma lors de notre arrivée : voyons comment le votre se porte maintenant.
