reasonable price , nice and big parking lot , renovation underway . very kind staff
bathroom too small and not so comfrotable
I booked this for my daughter travelling from New Zealand she was very pleased with her stay. She said all was good, clean room and good breakfast Value for money
Basic, clean and excellent value for money. Staff extremely friendly & helpful
Convenient location and friendly staff.

Location was good
It’s obviously been recently taken over, the name was changed, there is work ongoing to the property. They hadn’t yet got a licence. It could have been a lot cleaner upstairs. There was no blind on the bathroom window and although we had privacy glass in the lower half of the window, there were houses directly opposite and I was uncomfortable.
Comfy bed, very good Indian onsite and friendly staff
Broken panes of glass and a lot of cobwebs in the room - to many cobwebs to have appeared overnight
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Room was a little small
Lovely informative welcome from Lily on reception. Nothing was a problem. Lovely room, hot shower and a good breakfast. Plenty of parking on site.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Do not respond to customer requests. Do absolutely nothing to ensure customer satisfaction, when there is an issue they simply stand behind booking T&Cs rather than help replace your issue.
The staff were amazing, very polite and helpful
The late night noise, guests slamming their doors at a late hour. Kept waking me up & making me jump
The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 And the location was perfect for easy access and there was plenty parking. We had a really good meal in the restaurant and the Bar was well stocked. Definitely stay again.
Helpful staff, thankful for Lilly specifically for getting me a different room when there was issues with the electricity in my room, also thankful to another staff member( didn't get their name unfortunately) who helped when I had to cancel my first booking last minute due to sickness and managed to get me a full refund.
Too many stairs, if you have loads of luggage it would be a bit of a nightmare getting in and out, thankfully only had a carry on with me.
Location Upgraded room was lovely Hot pot with coffee, tea and snacks Pleasant staff
Original room was more like a closet. Maintenance of bathroom Shower containment Noisy neighbors
The staff professional and friendly. Special thanks to Julia at the Reception- made my stay easier.
The noise from next door room and the one above. Also the £100 deposit requested on arrival- didn't like it. No aircon, too hot summer time. The fan in the room was too noisy.
Bedroom was comfortable with good shower. Tasty breakfast. Room lock system didn’t unlock. Half an hour with three trips downstairs. Receptionist and I had to change its batteries. No liquor licence.
Room locks could be checked before guests arrive.
Indian meal was very good
Had to bring my own alcohol due to their licensing and left some of my breakfast as it was uncooked . Picture on the website was nowhere near what the place looked like
Friendly staff, bar staff kept us happy,, Had an excellent Indian meal cooked for from the kitchen,, really was very good,, Breakfast was excellent too,
When we arrived in car park, I thought it was the wrong hotel,, as it looked nothing like the lovely pictures on your website,, All the Virginia Creeper on the walls had been ripped down, leaving the building looking very shabby,, The rear garden area was really poor, overgrown with broken tables & benchs strewn around the so called lawns, Below our bedroom window was the flat roof of a bay window, littered with cigarette butt's & vapes,, The hotel prides themselves as a Wedding Venue,, I'd be very disappointed if a friend of mine held one there,, I understand there is on-going works happening, but it did look untidy all over,, But we did make the most of our couple of nights stay,,, thanks to helpfull receptionist Julia,, Give that girl a raise !!!!!
Really lovely staff. Nice full English breakfast and lovely Indian dinner. Big room, free parking. A good location for us while visiting the West Midlands safari park. Comfy bed!
The bathroom was the only thing we didn’t like. It flooded when taking a shower (the door needs fixing) and needs a good cleaning on the marble wall. Otherwise everything was really lovely and we had a lovely stay. Thank you
Friendly staff Breakfast Big Family Room Big car park Felt secure
Very hot in room Original room allocated did not have sofa bed Garden area could be most much more
Locations
Bathroom wasn’t very clean, cobwebs and spiders, bed was rock hard, old furniture going up the stairs which looked untidy
Clean
Could hear footsteps from top floor
Friendly staff, helpful and tried to help when i pointed out things that were wrong. Food looked nice but not a great choice at breakfast on the continetal side. Good food menu, everything cooked fresh. Large car park could do with a tidy, large garden could also do with a prune and tidy and a good watering. Nice garden funiture and lots of space. Comfortable beds, berooms spacious.
Shower screen kept falling off and was an issue until removed for saftey reasons. Salad returned as came out with only lettece leaves on it, prvious night tge same salad had tomatoes, peppers, onion and cue with lettece leaves..
Location was okay
Everything else!! Dirty, Run down, Mould on the ceiling, Noisy, Bar not serving alcohol, expensive, hard to find staff if you needed something, no maid service, basic things lacking ie toilet roll and towels, unsafe wires in room, windows not opening, extremely small rooms
Nice location & very comfortable
Only there for a night but very happy with everything. Room and staff were lovely Wish we'd had time to try the restaurant
Location good for stay on Droitwich
Nothing untoward
Bigger room!
Tranquil, green town. Clean hotel.
Small room and bathroom, damp and disrepair issues around the hotel spoilt the otherwise pleasant atmosphere
Great location in a really nice town. Good pubs near by and lots to do with it he kids
Hotel didn’t have an alcohol license so couldn’t use the bar. Still doing a lot of refurb so there were things out of place
Reception staff were helpful
Room seemed a bit tired. Unfortunately my wife was unwell and we only stayed overnight and left before breakfast and the next day.
I was really disappointed by my stay here for work, the place was either being being renovated or all of the junk is clearly being stored in the stairwell above reception. The rooms were very tired, the bathrooms particularly, but everything was functional, if a bit dated. The wonky plug sockets and wooden windows clearly showing that this place could do with a bit of love. The ivy on all of the marketing has been removed so it is definitely lacking in the charm department too. I can't speak for the breakfast and the accompanying restaurant, but this hotel will do a job if it is your only option. If it works out cheaper than one of the chain hotels you could give it a try but next time I would definitely pay more to stay somewhere else.
Good location, clean, friendly. Didn’t use all the facilities as only there a short time.
Room was adequate if a little on the small size. A fan was supplied to help with the heat which was useful but made it a squeeze getting to the bathroom with the wire being a tripping hazard
Quiet location. Lovely to have garden facilities especially with children. Plenty of space in the hotel.
The staff were great, a couple of things came up on arrival and they resolved straight away. The Indian restaurant was pleasant. The location was great for the park and Lido. Plenty of parking.
The vegan sausages were inedible and there were no vegan pastries or cereals available. So the vegan breakfast was hash browns., beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and dry toast (no vegan spread). Which is fine if you like those things but I wouldn't be able to list this as a vegan friendly breakfast place.
Loads of car parking !
Room 20 - far too hot, soething in the hotal - boiler under the room ? - Bathroom facilities tiny !
The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable
There was mould on the grouting between the tiles. There was a shower curtain rail and hooks but no shower curtain. When I asked about a shower curtain, I was told they don’t have them, so gave me extra towels to mop up. The room was hot and noisy
Room, Breakfast, Evening watching the Football
Service from the restaurant wasn't great, more emphasis was given to the Party than the Hotel Guests.
Location
Communal areas were a bit shabby
Great location, comfortable and clean. Stayed during a heatwave so air conditioning was very welcome.
We like that it is far enough away from city noise, but close enough from shops
The carpet in the room appears to be quite worn down and needed a bit of deep cleaning
Fantastic evening spent at St Andrews House Hotel last night. Abbie and the girls were amazing helped us set up the room for the party nothing was to much trouble and worked so hard during the night. The buffet was delicious food fresh and hot. Definatly the place to hold a party or even to go for a drink or meal ,lovely bar and garden. This is a hidden gem and they have put a lot of time and money into this venue. Will definitely be visiting again. Thankyou St Andrews you made the night extra special for a family celebration.
Lovely sized rooms, great outdoor seating area, friendly helpful staff
It would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room. The rooms were quite bland/basic - no decorative touches, just a bed and plain walls but
Staff friendly and helpful and seem to work hard to make it work and flow well. I'd probably suggest a mattress cover for their economy. Bed was very comfy ( for me), due to the weather being hot, a sheet as an alternative/addition to the duvet would be good. Perhaps I should have asked in the evening if that was possible, oh well
Nothing really to dislike.
Clean room.
Lukewarm food for breakfast
Friendly hotel with the most helpful of staff
It was great!
Impressive building - safe on-site parking close to building entry - very quiet location - away from the road.
Nil - all good
Location for access to local area. Stayed here for an annual trip for past few years and it is always a hospitable place.
It tries to impress and whilst it has got better it is still in a poor state in places. e.g. the room was well appointed but there were wires from previous fixtures taped off in the bathroom. Breakfast at £15 is expensive for what is on offer.
Location, big comfy bed, nice view,
Breakfast was incredibly slow and the quality was very disappointing
Food in Indian restaurant delicious
Small room ...hotel in need of upgrade...very shabby in places and outside poor
Friendly staff, nice big garden to sit out in, clean characterful rooms, good location, easy free parking
Tired communal areas, hard to control room temperature
Falsely advertised as a spa. It has a single treatment room which closes if one team member is absent. I had my treatment cancelled 40 minutes beforehand. The place is worn, tired looking, my bedroom walls were dirty. The restaurant was closed. Staff are nice, parking is easy.
Bar, garden, staff, bed
Breakfast
Close to local locations
Looked a bit run down from the outside. Chairs in Bridal suite were all stained. No coffee machine or mini fridge
Staff were friendly , the room was clean, the tea and coffee was good.
The room was very warm
Excellent location. All staff pleasant And cheerful. Large free car park. Large rooms.
Needs a refurb - very shabby decor and outside space ( ie garden) not maintained.
Came for a school reunion again. We love this place. It is an older, well maintained building so you get some of the intricacies with that, but that is what makes this classic. The service from all the staff from Abbie, the manager, on down is friendly and professional. The hotel now offers a "dry" Spa, which I took advantage of, and will use again on my next visit. The Indian food served was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Because I am now from Canada and miss it so much, I wish they would offer a "Full English" , but that is me being petty as most of it is there. They have added a second bar, which is useful and modernised some of the areas as well in the last couple of years. If you are coming to the area, this is a great choice for a classic British hotel.
Clean room, comfy bed. Good breakfast.

The hotel was well placed, within walking distance from the railway station in Droitwich Spa. The Indian food menu was very good and I had the best Indian meal I have had for many years. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The whole place had the air of neglect. It needs some real investment and the help from an interior designer as well as the exterior having a spruce-up. My bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the front car park and next to a fire door. There was noise from fellow guests coming and going right up to 02.00 hours so I did not get a restful night. The breakfast was very old-fashioned and uninspiring. No fresh fruit nor muesli despite both being listed on the menu.
Good car park, spacious bedroom.
The property had been taken over now called something different. Would have been good to know. Simple room, basic breakfast very minimal but ok.
Great hotel and breakfast but in the bar the young lad serving insisted on pulling pints of Lager flat as a Pancake in glasses with Widgets and could not understand that they should be poured with a head and wouldn't change them and fobbed us off and at a fiver a pint it didn`t go down well , apart from that all OK
Location ok, generally comfortable
No record of booking on arrival. Property is tired, needs internal and external renovation. Ivy from outside was growing through window. I did not think a rate of £216 (room only) for 2 nights was justifiable.
Bar area. Cleanliness location, friendly staff.
Single bed was a little cramped against the wall.
Friendly staff and I like a bath and shower
Nothing I dislike
Close to town and to the station, room is a good size, with ironing board and iron, tea/coffee available, kettle, seats and desk, nice size bathroom clean towels, toilet rolls, bath with shower overhead with shower and bath wash which was a nice surprise as wasnt expecting a bath, double bed was comfortable pillows were a little thin but personal preference, they were very clean as was all bedding. Room was cleaned daily when put a hanger on door got fresh linen and towels when needed. Breakfast was both continental and cooked, very nice spread lots of options with cold and hot drinks. Food itself very nice and the breakfast was filling. Staff was very polite always saw someone around to help.
On the booking.com website it did state a king or super king bed but got a small double but i found the hotels had been recently taken over so this may be an over sight that they need to change the booking.com information, Room was onto the carpark and been a lower ground felt the window although there was curtains and a net could of been frosted for a bit more privacy the only option to have the window open to let air in when hot, no fan in room, felt not comfortable leaving window open when out as there was nothing preventing anyone climbing in day or night, there was regular noise from cars etc which is normal during day but again at night found woken up by customers coming/going some quite noisey, and didnt help with having to have the window open, there was a red light constantly on through the night which shined directly at the window. Noise from a room above wasnt the hotels fault as is normal with an old building floors do creak but the person above seemed very active through the night to early hours very heavy footed and heavy doors could be heard throughout the corridors So sleep was quite an issue but not necessarily hotel to blame but more the patrons.
Location.
Other guests being incredibly insensitive.
Excellent room, with a very comfortable bed. Restaurant open late, this was great for us as we had been attending the Rik Mayall comedy festival. Nice walk into town. Plenty of parking available. Friendly members of staff.
Just an observation, a little weeding by the front door would make a huge difference.
Hotel was clean people helpful
Noisy at night with other guests. To many stairs I struggled going up nearly 3 flights.
Room was big and comfy with nice shower
Breakfast didn't have gf bread and when we went for breakfast things were running out
Location
Unclear, rundown and have to pay extra £15 for breakfast
I live in Droitwich and have come to this hotel occasionally over a period of many years. I visited this time because of the comedy festival. I was shocked at the appearance of the place this time. It looked awful. The greenery which covered the walls had been removed and my partner said that it looked as though it ought to be demolished. When we arrived and drove up to the entrance the first thing I noticed was that the grass needed cutting. Once inside I looked out in to the garden at the back and it looked uncared for. I thought I might sit outside with my glass of wine but it looked so depressing I came back inside. When I went to the bar there was no one serving and I had to wait until someone bothered to turn up. The carpets looked old and shabby. This place looked like a dump. I shall not willingly return.
Nothing
Cold rooms with old sash windows where the noise and breeze come through. Although the bed was comfortable it was hard to get a good night's sleep. Could hear the guy below me snoring over the tv. Pre cooked sausages and bacon where cold. Lack of towels in the rooms. Only 1 member of staff on at a time. In the evening the male receptionist could not understand English. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Bare rundown and apparently been under refurb for over two years. I have officially nicked named thus hotel "The Cat Fish Hotel". And for your info these pictures are all from the predecessor. The hotel is now owned by Saram. I believe this to be an Indian company as it serves Indian food and includes Indian staff.
Breakfast was good and plentiful. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were perhaps a little tired but i was perfectly happy.
Very little
The photo on the web site had no resemblance to reality so much so that I went on to check I had the right location
A pleasant place to stay. Having an Indian restaurant in the hotel made for something different for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great value bistro food and friendly staff
Nothing
Comfortable beds, great shower facilitys.
La chica de recepción muy agradable, mucho parking. Fácil de encontrar.
Las instalaciones necesitas algunos arreglos pero me pareció que estaban en ello.
Very friendly staff great location 👌
Everything was very positive
Spacious room nicely decorated. Indian restaurant on site.
Fire alarm went off and staff very late in appearing.
Perfect location
The radiator in my room was set to full and had a broken control, so was unable to turn it down. I arrived late and didn’t want to bother reception so had to sleep with the window fully open.
Recently had my Mum's wake here when we hired the dining room venue. We were very impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful, the food was excellent quality, variety and amounts. At the end the events manager happily collected all the remaining food into plastic containers for people to take home with them. It was a sad occasion but would highly recommend the venue
Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful . They were the stars of this place, that outshone the building by miles. They were an absolute delight, a credit to the establishment.
The place was nothing like the pictures. It was tired looking and while attempts had been to refurbish, they were only cosmetic. My bathroom had wires sticking out the wall, large paint splatters on the mismatched wardrobe, scuffed and chipped radiator. The walls were very thin, so I could doors slamming and talking late into the night. The exterior was in poor condition made worse by the red light along the top of the entrance, this was not fitting of what could potentially be a beautiful place.
Very nice stay and friendly staff
We were very impressed of the service. The food was excellent.. Anindya was very charming helpful and a lovely waiter
