Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen

Très bel hôtel moderne et propre. Chambre studio très grande, grand lit, très confortable. Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Tutto molto pulito. Buona la colazione. Staff gentile e disponibile. Ottima posizione.

High end hotel with exceptional staff.

Breakfast sausage quality

Travelling to the hotel by car is not a good experience. It is not possible to pre-book a parking space prior to date day of arrival. The hotel does not have sufficient parking to meet the demand. There is no way to park close to the entrance to unload the luggage.

Accueil parfait, situation idéale

Rien

So clean friendly helpful staff good complimentary breakfast.Love the rowies at breakfast or butteries A local breakfast bread lovely with butter and cheese

Everything was great

Great size room, breakfast options plentiful & having use of a washing machine & dryer was awesome. Front desk staff super helpful also.

No robe or slippers.

Nice, clean with friendly staff. Rooms were very nice, kitchen addition was a surprise.

Very hard to find. Google maps was pathetic , took nearly an hour to get the correct location. Parking spaces are also very tight. Breakfast was good but limited & machine tea & coffee is a poor addition. Staff were very helpful and approachable but I think the business has let them down.. not enough staff & a very cold nearly automated system.

Modern clean and beautifully decorated

Only difficulty was finding it - road closures and it being off the main drag the only problem

Spacious room, good location - very central and there’s a bus stop 1 minute walk away where the airport bus stops. Super friendly staff, nice gym

Nothing

I like the cleanness, the facilities, even the staff was friendly and the location was good.

Lovely suite, in a great location

Breakfast was good but there could have been more variety

Squeaky clean, central location, very comfortable bed and great shower. Very handy self serve continental breakfast.

Nothing

well arranged

nothing

Excellent location, right in the city. Walking distance to bus, train and ferry stations. Very pleasing room decor. Good breakfast, though somewhat limited.

We were not informed that room cleaning is done only on alternate days. This should have been informed upfront at the time of checkin.

Perfect location to explore Aberdeen in the middle of the historic centre, and steps away from restaurants, transport and sights

It was perfect - we were very happy

although stayed for just one night i must say excellent visit and the room was brilliant.

all perfect

Staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautiful, and in a perfect location for all amenities, plus the complementary breakfast is very good. Even a kitchenette is in the room for those that want to cook and a small sofa and a handy small table.

Nothing

Comfortable and relaxed but efficient.

Maybe more choice at breakfast.

Ble tatt godt imot av personalet. Rent og pent. Beliggenheten var perfekt.

Ikke noe negativt.

The staff was exceptional. Very helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate every request. Probably one of the most friendly and helpful hotel staffs I’ve ever experienced.

Really nothing. Everything was great.

Room was ok. I wouldn`t recommend it to family with bigger kids since the couch was quit narrow. Room itself was ok, very quiet for big hotel. I didn`t hear anything - not from other rooms nor outside. Breakfast ok.

nothing

From the email with video showing how to access car parking, making it so easy and stress free, all staff was so helpful and professional. The breakfast was perfect, something for everyone and good quality. The location was also perfect 👌

Nothing

Staff are superb , nothing too much trouble and very helpful . Location is fab as it’s so close to union street . Parking is a bonus and breakfast never disappoints

Nothing it was all fantastic

The rooms are perfect and the staff were all amazing 😊

Very helpfull staff. Nice view from the window. Perfect location.

At breakfast tables were much too close to each other. Selection of food was limited: no fried eggs available only scrambled eggs.

Ubicación y limpieza

Cama i almohada no muy cómodas

Better selection and music channel on the TV

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped room. If needed we could have prepred food as there were facilities to do so. Like the fact that we could open our bedroom window, all be it safely, for fresh air.

Nothing

Excellent location - very central and convenient for walking the city. Room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, staff helpful and friendly.

No complaints.

Clean rooms and friendly staff, the breakfast was also nice.

Very hard to find, Google and Apply maps do not have the location correct and you can’t see the hotel or any signs from the road.

The staff were all helpful and friendly Breakfast was amazing

No problems

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and the staff could not do more for you. Breakfast excellent considering the price. Bonus small gymn and launderette

I have no complaints

Yogurt confezionato, no frutta secca, no granola, pochissima selezione di frutta fresca e brioche. Anche sul salato la scelta era ridotta.

Breakfast superb, staff friendly, courteous and helpful, hotel in a great location

Shower….there was paint peeling from above shower, no major issue but doesn’t look great. TV remote control batteries needed changing and shower temperature a little inconsistent

Great room, great staff and decent breakfast. We use this hotel every time we are in Aberdeen

Everything was perfect from check in staff, room exceptional very comfortable and clean and location great

Coming home 😃

Very central location close to the wonderful Marischal College and the bus stop to the airport. The room is well furnished and breakfast has good options.

The property was easy access. The staff were absolutely lovely and we were well looked after. The room was exactly as described. We would (and will) definitely stay again.

There was no fault with the property

Staff helpful and friendly. Quiet but central location Good breakfast

Lovely location - nice and quiet and really clean surroundings. A bit harder to find the first time around (it's nestled behind buildings) but I really liked it. I asked for a quiet room, and got just that. The beds were so comfortable and the shower was amazing. Staff were all very friendly. While I didnt use the facilities - the kitchen area was so well fitted out - even had a small dishwasher! Would be ideal for those travelling for longer.

There were some stains on the sofas which I always find a little off putting. They don't have space to keep your bag when you check out (they will take it on check in if you arrive early though). I wasnt expecting this so had to quickly change plans - worked out ok for me in the end, but could cause issues for those who were counting on a space to leave their bag while you do some last day exploring.

The room

Breakfast

Been lots of times and everytime it's been excellent 👌

Nothing I didn't like

The room was nice and spacious with easy to use shower and a large bed, there were plenty of sockets available to use, the staff were friendly and most of the appliances were sufficiently easy to use. While I did not use it, there was adjustable air conditioning available, and there were a myriad of lighting options. While the location was somewhat awkward to find, it was reasonably peaceful and overall was an incredibly pleasant stay.

The television did not connect to the WiFi particularly well, and had an intermittent issue with switching itself off in the evenings to do software updates. I spoke to front of house about this and they insisted they would get the maintenance team to look at the issue, but this never happened. One of the cleaners invited herself into my room in the morning while I was still in bed with no warning to collect rubbish, which provided a privacy issue. A keepsake that I had kept from the train journey to Aberdeen mysteriously went missing when the linen was changed while I was out of the hotel. The WiFi was difficult to log in to and did not work properly on devices for a number of hours after arrival. One of the lifts was out of order for the duration of my stay, with no sign of any update on when it may be fixed. The television kept switching itself back to a Marriot Bonvoy advertising channel that was extremely loud, and the smart functions of the television did not work, and I feel an oven in the room would have been reasonable to expect for a room advertised as self-catering, especially at the price point.

Clean, quiet and friendly

The breakfast

Staff were so helpful, going out of their way to do anything for you. Nice, clean room, super handy having a small kitchen, and there's also a free self-service laundry room for longer stays. The location is great. Will stay again.

Nothing

Fantastic hotel, perfect location, staff were great and service was top notch. Was treated with lovely welcome even checked us in very ealy at 10:30am even though we weren't expecting another than to drop off bags with being so early. Room was fabulous just sad we were only staying 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely too! Will definitely return to this hotel. 10/10.

Super helpful/ friendly staff.

Disappointed that a small breakfast to go was not available

Location

Ideale ligging, vriendelijk personeel

Weinig variatie in ontbijt

Ground floor room, sleep continuosly broken by late night and early morning revelers passing by. Breakfast choice minimal. Bar facilities underwhelming, Zero atmosphere.

Lovely big room and very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent wet room with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Very helpful, friendly staff on the reception desk and in the breakfast room.

Our only minor niggle was that the mugs and glasses we had used were taken away and not replaced. Neither were the teabags replaced. However the reception staff sorted us out when we asked for more.

Goede ligging. Ruime en comfortabele kamer. Vriendelijk personeel.

Staff were great! I left some clothing and they were very helpful in expediting a shipment home for me.

The property is set back a little which makes it not so easy to find. It was a very good hotel. The room was like a studio apartment, well set up. It had a clever sliding door into the bathroom which also covered the wardrobe. Good storage, plenty of hanging space. Good bathroom. It was quiet. Breakfast was a little limited and the staff were constantly replenishing items and crockery. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing

Comfortable room, spacious and well-equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The breakfast was good, apart from the coffee.

Staff / facilities / friendliness / location

N/A

Overall the room was well equipped and met our needs. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to meet our needs. It was also great to have a laundry available.

The design of the room overall was very good with the exception of the mirrored door to the bathroom. It also served as the door to the closet and drawers and the two seemed to be in constant competition. Also the access to the building was awkward for getting from the hotel to the waiting taxi.

Room was very clean, quiet and had everything we need. Great space and comfy beds.

.

A great location. Modern and well equipped facilities. Super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The best place to stay in Aberdeen :-)

Clean and serene

Nothing

Cleanliness excellent and great location.

They changed the breakfast offerings throughout the stay, first few days we could order from the kitchen, then they suddenly stopped and could only have the buffet which was very poor selection for being a Marriott Hotel. Also the front desk staff very unhelpful when I asked them why I was only given my Marriott points for 5 nights when I stayed 6 nights and stated it was my problem to fix with the Marriott App on my points and not their problem….!

Clean room great bed wonderful pillows. Loved the help from staff

Nothing

Bed super comfortable and location

Loved the room. Great location, would book again.

Lovely place

The staff where brilliant went out of there way to help us definitely stay again

Great location

Parking

Well located, excellent comfortable bed and spacious room. Staff very helpful.

Shower was a little disappointing, lacking much pressure. Coffee was awful but there’s a Costa opposite!

Location Great staff (Mary) at reception

Breakfast a bit industrial

Nydelig frokost i koselige lokaler. Et godt sted å være :)

We had a lovely 3 night break. The location was excellent and the staff were really attentive.

Nothing

Excellent room

Limited breakfast options

Really lovely apartment, ideal location, friendly staff!

Comfortable

Locatie is super!

everything

small gym

Clean, modern, very central. Parking easy. Gorgeous breakfast!

Nothing - all great!

all in all good

only one lift working (can happen..... but can be uncomfortable too)

Slechte communicatie ivm mogelijke parking

Zeer schone kamers. Goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Een aanrader!!

Geräumiges Zimmer, super Ausstattung. Sehr sauber.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and handy location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location was excellent and Dimitri at the front desk made a great restaurant recommendation. He also secured our taxi for our departure.

The room was fantastic! The floorplan of the room was impressive and we really felt right at home as soon as we arrived. I wish we had booked a longer stay. The breakfast options were plentiful enough so that everyone should be able to find something they like. The coffee from the coffee machine in the breakfast area was very good. We stopped by the common area one evening where a small bar is located. The bar staff was very attentive and, after we mentioned that we were heading to Inverness the next day, provided us with all kinds of information about sights to see in Inverness. Thank you again for that!

The only part of the room that we thought was a bit odd, but creative, was the use of the sliding wardrobe door as the door for the bathroom. We did get used to it after the first day.

The location. The facilities like laundry, gym and the room. We loved it!

Nothing.

Numuriņa, plašums un iespējas. Darbinieki. Viesnīca atradās ļoti labā vietā, centrā, netālu no auto nomas. Tajā bija arī virtuve, ko gan neizmantoju.

Brokastis bija labas, bet ne ļoti labas.
