It was large enough to accommodate my family we had room to move around! We were close enough to attractions!
Needed a few extra towels
The staff text us every day to check on us to make sure we were good asking if we needed anything. Wanted to know how our day was and then they would always respond to our text. The property was beautiful in the room was excellent.
The rooms were nice. Loved the balcony!
The pools close early. One of the restaurants only had one person working. We had to go get breakfast across the street at the gas station. It was actually cheaper and really good.
Wonderful resort!!
loved everything
The room and where it was located for the price I paid was amazing!!
Having the extra space and the privacy
Kinda dated
Spacious and comfortable
Floors and balcony window were dirty
It was nice and clean
Small tvs
Clean, friendly staff.
Very pressured right off the bat to attend a time share meeting. We came to enjoy a family vacation, not make a business deal. Even after saying “no” very firmly, probably 20 plus times, they just continued to pressure us. The time share seminar was not mentioned in the initial booking and was sprung on us after driving 4 hours at arrival.
So clean. Quiet. Everything g at our fingertips! We will definitely be back! The pools are fantastic!
Nothing
Everything was so nice. Kids had so much fun at the pools and gaming area!
There isn't really anything I didnt like!
The keys on a wristband!!
Having to drive to the other main area
All the activities they had on the grounds to do as a family
We loved the extra space, having a living area and kitchen was great with kids
The master bathroom wasn’t clean, there was mold in the shower and dust on all the shelves
Everything was great pool was nice there are a lot of things to do on the property condos are nice and has everything you need to cook with the Jacuzzi in rooms are nice beds are comfortable would definitely stay here again
Did not like how they do not have elevator for the condos especially if you are not on ground floor it's a rough walk up especially if you are staying a couple of days and have lots of stuff
Pool was very close. Literally right outside our back door. Every balcony had its own railing so I didn't have to worry about my kids getting out. Everything in Branson was very close. Gas station and Dollar general right across the street.
You need to bring blackout curtains, kind of a double-edged sword it's very lit up outside in the front but those lights come through those blinds
Modern and clean
Direction to the back of the property
El apartamento estaba súper limpio
Todo fue perfecto
Nice & clean great location my downfall was the stairs we was located on the 2nd floor but the receptionist Barbara was really nice she put us on 2nd level even though my room actually was the 3rd level
The parking not enough parking and the mgr Laurie I didn’t too much like her how she respond when texting her if I say good morning then go ahead with my question I expect a good morning text back also I didn’t too much like the jacuzzi it was splashing water every where
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Hills in Branson Missouri, booked through RCI. I specifically asked if the pictures shown is what we actually got and I was told yes. That was a downright lie. My 2 bdr 2 bath unit looked nothing like the pictures. It looked like an old dated run down cabin. Very dissaponted.
The property.
Indoor pool was out of order. Only available for two hours
Comfortable, modern, clean and affordable stay. All the amenities at our fingertips!
The only minor detail was the distance from attractions. I think it was an 11 minutes to Branson Landing.
My family had a great time and their are that they need to fixed update pool put light around pool in make pool bigger and they need they 2 or 3 people working the calf not one person and the rooms update
Clean, spacious, and well-maintained rooms. The property was nice and comfort
We booked two 2-bedroom villas under different names for our family of 10 and paid for both together with the same card. However, the hotel assigned them to different buildings that were far apart, making it difficult for us to spend time together as a family.
Huge property, lots to do, beautiful surroundings.
Far from town
The unit we stayed in was very clean.
The indoor pool was down during our stay; other than that, it was excellent.
Nothing. Very outdated property. They haven't updated technology since flat screen tvs were created.
Location, outdated, bed bugs, dingy cloth furniture. The outside looks like a low budget motel
RCI members beware of the bait and switch! If you book a 2 bedroom (6/6) or (8/8) you will probably be fine, and will be in one of the nice units shown on RCI's website. However, if you book a 2 bedroom (6/4) watch out!!! You might get what they call a 2 bedroom villa on the Holiday Inn Club Vacations website, or you might get one of the rundown, dark, musty, dusty, cramped units with miniscule kitchens like we had! There was barely any counter space, an old coil stove that still didn't work after they tried to fix it twice (the thing that was supposed to hold the burners in was slopped out and they kept dropping when you set a kettle on it), and absolutely no storage space to stash your suitcases and other belongings. My pictures labeled 1 show the first unit we were assigned to, which is in a 4-plex way back through a maze of roads behind the golf course. There were even older brown cabins back in that area, which I'd be scared to see the inside of! After complaining at the registration desk, we were moved to a slightly larger unit, which is the pictures labeled 2. Still not enough space for a family of 5. There was only room for one person at a time in that tiny kitchen, so we ended up eating out a lot more than we normally do on vacations. The whole unit was damp, and our towels never dried and any paper or cardboard we had was soft and soggy. There was something smeared on the baseboard in one unit. The dishwasher was an old one, and while it seemed to do a good job cleaning the dishes, they should have provided ear protection because it was loud in that tiny space! The only good things I can say about the place was that the activity center had a number of nice games to play, at an extra cost. (Watch out for the quarter pushing machine - it's addictive!!!) The big outdoor pool was pretty nice, and the hot tub there was actually hot. Lisa Lund, the senior manager, was really nice and seemed to genuinely want to help us. Carl in maintenance was also nice, but he can't fix what is well beyond repair (the stove). As for the area, I LOVE Branson! We went to a lot of shows and activities this time. My favorites were Lindwedel Winery (the one out on the highway), Crazy Craig's Cheeky Monkey bar and Crazy Craig's Treehouse, David at Sight and Sound Theatre, and Presley's Country Jubilee.
Nice size room with kitchen and very clean. Location was nice near golf course and market right across street.
Room with better view would have been nice. Patio had no view. Noise from people above us was quite annoying. Noise from A/C outside bedroom window was loud while trying to sleep. Need new pillows.
From the pictures on the site I thought there was going to be a balcony or patio and there wasn't and there was no jacuzzi tub like in the pictures as well just a simple bathtub disappointed in that
There was a street light right outside the window and no long curtains just a valance so there was light coming in through the window all night
The sheets where still dirty like someone just folded them and rolled up covers
Better than initial room
Worse than room that was promised
I loved the layout: the extra kitchen nook was nice for the kids.
It was dated: furniture was old and outside patio furniture was dirty with paint peeling.
I liked the location away from the hustle and bustle of 76.
Rooms were a little dated but functional enough.
We are Holiday Inn resorts owners and have stayed in multiple locations. I'm 77, my wife 74. I have back issues. At check-in we learn that we are assigned to a third floor unit. Please note, the regular buildings DO NOT HAVE ELEVATORS. Also, units do not have washer/dryers, although a laundry is on site. Although we were switched to a first floor unit, at the time of booking the fact that there are no elevators or washer/,dryers was not mentioned. These are older buildings.
We reserved a studio and a 1 bedroom through RCI and the amenities listed on their website was not what you get at all so beware!!!! RCI indicated that all they have to give a reservation is how beds for how many it sleeps!!! RCI is not responsible for the amenities listed on the website! This is unacceptable!!!!!
Everything was nice.
My husband and I were walking and there was a miscommunication between Booking.com and our reservations that were made. The resort did very well on accommodating us. We had specific amenities that were wanting and they made sure to make it right.
Everything
We stayed here through a hotel booking site. First you get to stand in line to check in, where you're informed of a deposit that there's no mention of anywhere. Then you get to go stand in line - again - at their "vacation station" where you have to listen to their spiel about the wonder advantages of joining their club before they'll activate your room key. The resort itself is nice but huge! Too huge. It's like a maze. We were sent to a unit as far away as possible from the main buildings. The room itself was nice. The furniture was comfy, as well as the bed. The towels were surprisingly fluffy. The room sleeps 4. You're given 3 pool towels. You do the math. The bathroom (which is nothing special) is large, but that's mainly to accommodate the two doors (one from the bedroom and one from the living area). The counter space in the bathroom is almost nonexistent. I can't imagine having more than 2 people in the unit trying to utilize that tiny space. Of course, it's great having a full kitchen. Don't use the dishwasher if you're in the unit. It sounds like a jet. Heaven help you if there's a family in a unit near you. Every time a door opened in the unit next door, above, or below, the entire unit shivered, especially with the unit next door. It sounded like they were trying to get into our unit. And, of course, we heard the people above us the entire stay. It has a ton of amenities and a golf course, none of which we used. It had pluses and minuses. I can't recommend it.
This location is situated on a beautiful property in the Ozarks. There are lots of trees and rolling hills. Our condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck playing cards.
The condo was nice and clean
Didn't realize it was so far from the strip and activity. Also too much driving to get to places
Friendly staff and clean rooms
Property wasn’t gated, but it still was safe. Also no washer dryer unit in room.
I enjoyed the one bedroom Villa! It was actually quite nice and the room design was gorgeous! The patio was a good focal area for us to hangout, laugh, and play board games which was really nice as well!
I hated the security gates and not having codes to get through them. In order to get to the front desk you have to drive all around the resort just to get to the activities and front desk because of the security gates that stay locked and they don’t have access to give you codes for them. It was kind of inconvenient. The staff at the front were also kind of rude. When asked questions or recommendations they seemed like they did not want to be there and were unfriendly to interact with.
I did not like the fact that I was fast talked and pressured into doing a tour that I was charged $50 to attend which was never mentioned to me. After constant refusal and constant pressure I just gave in so that I could go. I ended up not going because I didn’t want to go and was still charged and was not pleased at all.
Beautiful property and they were so sweet to me!
Nothing - it and the staff were amazing!! The staff LOVES THE PROPERTY AND THEY MADE ME LOVE IT EVEN MORE!!!
Everything was great
The bath tub drain was very slow
nothing
all of it
I definitely would not stay here or advise anyone else to. The people at the front desk were very nice. I stayed there with my two young daughters one that is nonverbal autistic. While we were there I was woken up several times two people standing out in front of the bedroom window talking loudly to people sitting in their vehicle down in the parking lot. But the real trouble happens when it was time to go. Early Thursday morning before check out I called up front and spoke with Miss Lori who gave us permission for late check out because we were Diamond Elite members. I work as a protection agent and travel Monday through Friday weekly and I usually stay at ihd hotels. I've never ever had a problem! But after we left my bank notified me that there was a charge from the hotel for $250. This is after I had already paid $1,000 for a four night stay. I called the front desk and they told me first that it was a $250 charge for damages. I told the man there was nothing damaged and I have took pictures of the room before we left. They need changed and said well it was for excessive cleaning. He proceeded to send me five pictures. One was of a messy stove top, one of a stainless steel pan that look like it had a stain in the bottom of it but also some white chemical stuff sprayed on top. Another was of the big bathtub that we had put all of our Linen in so it would not make the floor wet. I told him that is not excessive and not worth any extra charge. What happened was the cleaning people had blocked the front door that morning and my little girl when she opened the door to go get the cart tripped and scraped her knee. I complained about it. I feel like this is retaliation and nothing else. I've contacted the hotel and the man that I talked to said that I was not getting my money back. I told him I will contact my bank and if need be I will contact an attorney as well. For me, this is about principle. Dishonest and Shady business practices! People come from out of state and they think you're helpless so they do what they want to do regardless of who or how it affects you. The hotel is run down, I say hotel because this is in no way any kind of resort other than a golf course. They have low ratings already as it is, and I see that it is common for them to charge people unreasonable fees once they check out. This hotel is known for this. Has a Marine Corps vet, I have served this country and I shall honor and respect to everyone everywhere I go. Yes the place was not 100% clean when we left. But it was not unreasonably dirty, either. You go to stay at a place to relax not to housekeep. We took all the trash out and used the dishwasher. The only thing we left out was a spatula that my daughter's used to make eggs and bacon for breakfast. I feel like the cleaning person set this up either because I moved their stuff out of our doorway or because I complained about my daughter tripping over it. I have pictures of how the place looked when we left.
The room we stayed in was very welcoming and had a nice view!!
No complaints
Great location and facilities
I absolutely love this resort. We booked a 2 night-stay at this resort at a great price offered by IHG Rewards. Also, the best part was it was off-peak season in Branson area so it wasn't busy at all. It's a huge golf course resort so it can be a bit of a drive to get to your building and the map given took some time to figure out since there's no straight or flat roads in the greater Branson area. I'm giving it 4 stars only because we were placed at the very farthest building from the registration office. The pool building is also separate & next door to the registration/visitor information desk. I would've rated this a 5 stars if only we had a room that's close to the pool building & registration office/visitor information in case of an emergency. To get ready to go to the pool and have a bag and drive a distance to go swimming..I wouldn't call it convenient. Also, I have a brand new car, I would not want a swimming pool chemical/wet towel stench in my car. Since it wasn't a busy time yet. It would've been much more appreciated to be able to be close to the entrance/pool/office desk to have some walking distance convenience.
Clean, private, comfortable
Everyone wants to sell you a timeshare! And can be very pushy about it. Don’t like to take No for an answer
Great resort for families. Awesome indoor pool. Cleaner and nicer than expected! Would go again!
Amazing beautiful property in the staff took care of me so well! I was traveling alone, but they answered all my questions and made me feel so safe! So safe that I returned again.
Nothing - amazing
Off season visit.
Family friendly. Many activities. Great staff. Huge indoor pool along with multiple outdoor pools (open seasonally). Short driving distance of all events and shops.
Spacious rooms, clean
One day, the pool was closed which was out of their control.
I loved the privacy and comfort.
The cleanliness could have been better. There was a mound of dust on and under the tv stands as well as shelves. We were also bitten quite a bit by something (not bed bugs.)
Some of the staff was rude
Nothing
They don’t tell u the unit is miles away from the pool and arcade, u literally have to pack up the vehicle with kids to drive to the pool and then be told the pool is down for maintenance
This resort was amazing. 10/10. Indoor pool, playground, quiet. Bldg 3..facing the street..wonderful! Free laundry if you don't have w/d in your villa. Ethan, the activity director, is excellent and kind. Great stay.
This is AWFUL - avoid this place. The rooms are nothing like the photos. We are on the bottle level of an apartment type thing, no elevator, concrete retaining wall in front of the window, tiny kitchen, no washer/dryer, very small living room, no fireplace, nothing is as advertised. The room holds 6 but we are packed in line sardines. Incredibly disappointed to have driven 9 hours for this. The pool, arcade, etc are about 2 miles from our unit so there’s no walking over to it, we have to get in the vehicle and drive up there. Absolutely false advertising I wish we could leave, but we already spent our money here (booked well in advance) and it’s spring break so unlikely we will find anything else.
I have a handicap daughter in a wheelchair and the check -in person always works at getting us the perfect room with a large room and bathroom for the wheelchair. We are so very grateful for holiday Inn club vacation, it is clean, beautiful and we feel safe. I
The pictures listed for the 2 bedroom villas are not the same as the old shoe box they will put you in. Been vacationing through RCI for over 20 years, by far the worst experience I have ever had. And the management was extremely unhelpful and did not care. Will never stay at the resort as long as I live and don’t recommend it to anyone! All the pictures listed through RCI are for their ambassador suite, but they will tell you the shoe box is what you booked. It’s a joke!

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
8.2/10Generally praised as clean in many reviews (rooms described as 'so clean' and 'clean, stocked'), but several guests reported issues including mold in a shower, dirty floors and balcony windows, a backed-up toilet and at least one roach sighting.
Service
8.1/10Mixed service experiences: multiple guests praised attentive staff texting daily and responsiveness, while others reported dismissive or unfriendly interactions, high-pressure timeshare sales tactics and an instance of a receptionist perceived as discriminatory.
Location
8.1/10Location was praised by some for proximity to attractions, but others found the property not close to amenities and noted they had to drive to the main area or attractions.
Room Quality
8.5/10Rooms consistently described as spacious with extra living space and balconies appreciated; however some guests did not receive reserved features (jacuzzi or balcony), and a few mentioned small TVs or dated elements.
Amenities
8.2/10Strong family-oriented amenities (multiple pools, activities, gaming area) and on-site conveniences, but complaints include pools closing early, promised hot tubs not delivered for some bookings, and on-site laundry being pay-per-use.
Value for Money
8.8/10Many guests felt the rooms and space were excellent value ('worth every penny', 'amazing for the price'), though a minority were disappointed when paid amenities were not provided as booked.
Food and Beverage
7.9/10On-site food options received some criticism: reports of an understaffed restaurant, limited service hours and guests having to find alternate breakfast options off-site.
Overall Experience
9.4/10Overall experience skewed positive for family stays — many reviewers called it wonderful, would book again, and praised the resort feel and activities — despite the recurring operational and amenity-related issues noted above.
