The Breakfast was Wonderful. Beautiful Hotel and Lovely garden and Grounds. So Peaceful. You couldn't ask for more. Will be Definitely going back real soon. One of the best. The beds were extremely comfortable.
A comfortable room for an overnight stay with a tasty breakfast. Stayed here as close to Exeter airport and were able, at an extra reasonable cost, to leave car at hotel with a lift to and pick up from the airport which worked really well.
Convienient with helpful staff
Comfortable bed and very nice breakfast.
Quiet stay in converted county state home with a large garden.
Our hostess was wonderful during our stay - friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities offering superb value for money . The aspect of the property was delightful - gorgeous views all round. Highlight was breakfast - delicious and cooked to order supplemented with wide range of cereal and fresh fruit.
Very clean with fresh, pleasant rooms and a great breakfast. Extremely quiet at night so a good nights sleep. Very freindly hosts.
Diane is a wonderful lady and very helpful. It is a gorgeous country estate and you will feel like a Queen.
Lovely host. Beautiful old building. Room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was good. It is not a boutique hotel but an old fashioned bed& breakfast which could do with updating.
Really very friendly family.
Loved the room very homely. It had a lovely garden view. The breakfast was lovely too. Forgot it was near the airport until a few planes flew over early in the morning.
the mattress wasn’t great.
Friendly staff and easy check in
Quiet, relaxed, beautiful surroundings
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area around the grounds was littered with old machinery and scrap materials which made it a bit unsightly. The room was quite dusty with a few spiderwebs etc. The bed and bathroom were clean and stocked well.
Friendly, good value for money. Slightly scruffy especially exterior and grounds.
Beautiful house, good breakfast and landlady very kindly ran us up the road to the wedding venue for a small fee, but, it is not boutique, way to many knickknacks everywhere and things in the rooms were very tired, clean but not spotless, saying that, bedding and towels were white and pristine
Carpets were really bad not clean at all. bed was worn and uncomfortable, cut trip short and found another hotel
Lovely place
Friendly host - great breakfast - needs updating though.
A wonderful warm welcome. A lovely cosy and quaint room, topped off with a delightful breakfast. Highly recommend!
Stayed just one night after an eye operation. Owners pleasant and helpful A quiet peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended
Beautiful, quiet, manor house in the country. Warm, quiet room. Hot and tasty breakfast served in a convivial environment.
What a lovely place to stay. I was made to feel so very welcome. The room was so comfortable, clean and warm. Beautiful large fluffy towels. Bathroom was clean and ample.hot water. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. I highly recommend this stunning guesthouse and would.stay again.
Only stayed for one night for a wedding, breakfast was ideal, room fine, comfy bed, friendly owner
The hotel was very convenient for the airport and we learned of their park and transfer options. There was always someone available on site.
Had a lovely overnight stay here. Would highly recommend it. Lovely room, comfy bed, great breakfast and friendly hosts.
The staff were very friendly. An excellent breakfast and a very comfortable bed
This is a very old type of hotel. it is family run and reminds me of faulty towers, when coming to service. There are no delivery companys for food and the hotel has no restaurant, so if you are hungry bring food or drive 10 minutes to a restaurant.
Absoloutly lovely place to stay and very clean. The breakfast was very well cooked and the staff very friendly. The surroundings and look of the building was very well kept. The only issue i have is i forgot to ask for the bottle of wine advertised with my room. But just means i will have to book again.
The property is lovely and unique in many ways, just to far away from services.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful family run hotel. The owners bent over backwards to accommodate us even driving us to our restaurant when we were unable to book a taxi.
The hotel was ok but needs a re-vamp as it’s outdated and the owner needs a lesson on how to talk to guests.. I totally get we should be quiet but threatening violence if we didn’t be quiet lol what a moron.
Lovely place to stay , beautiful setting and very friendly
Stayed one night, nice room, friendly staff and beautiful grounds
lovely stay, room was nice and clean, very comfy bed and lots of little extras such as a box of tissues in the room and as well as a biscuit there were complimentary mint chocs.
Very friendly welcome, clean, good towels, linen etc, lovely breakfast. Although off the beaten track Grange Court is convenient for Exeter, main roads and airport. Nice garden with good views. Although we didnt have one, a very quick overnight stay, they can also provide afternoon teas and packed lunches.
Relaxed and comfortable hotel with lovely staff, in a very beautiful setting
Delightful hotel, tucked away in it's own grounds
A perfect place to stay. Will come again.
Very clean and enjoyable stay
I seldom use the word “charming,” but it really was!
Great
On arrival our room was very hot. After we returned at 9.50pm we could contact anyone to get a drink from the bar.
Loved the Grange. Good welcome. Quiet and lovely setting. Great rooms. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Stay here anytime!
Friendly staff but the booking hadn’t come through when I arrived so there was some confusion. It was quite dated, with a tired interior decor. It has potential to be great but just needs some TLC. The continental breakfast food and room could be improved with some fresh food, better coffee and maybe some music in the background as was so quiet. But on the whole ok value for money.
Lovely accommodation friendly manager who was happy to recommend somewhere for us to eat. Overall enjoyable stay. We will stay again when sailing from Plymouth to Spain. Breakfast is very good.
Superb room, king size bed, sofa and chair etc. Beautiful room, extremely clean and decorations in pristine condition. En suite was also excellent. Will visit again if staying in the area.
Fantastic accommodations, incredibly polite and helpful staff, wonderful food, beautiful manor and grounds. Everything was top-notch. Will definitely stay at The Grange again when I'm next in the Exeter area. Superb!!!
Relaxing home from home environment. Beautiful large garden with a view. Good choice for breakfast.
What an amazing place, so tranquil and beautiful. Staff were all super friendly and we’d definitely stay there again.
Went for a short break, and would go back any time! Fabulous location, exceptional service, great breakfast, great room, very welcoming. Thank you, Steve - we wish we’d booked for a longer stay.
Perfect place to stay overnight breaking our journey from Cornwall to the Isle of Wight. Comfortable room with nice bathroom. All clean and quiet night’s sleep. Good filling breakfast well cooked. Easy parking. Friendly check in.
Very friendly, helpful owners and staff. The room was what we needed for the night and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again.
We experienced a very pleasant stay and very much enjoyed our breakfast. The link between the Hotel & Rockbeare Manor as shown on Google Maps is no longer available and should be removed.
Our stay was good we were looked after very well. We would stay there again
A most welcoming and warm hotel, run by a charming family to the highest standard. We shall be back.
Very friendly
Had a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.
The property was min mansion and decorated appropriately it was also spotless and bed very comfy with good tea making facilities and biscuits. Cooked breakfast was very tasty and good quality and the owner and staff were very warm and helpful.
Difficult to read in bed with small table lamp!
Had a lovely stay! The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are quiet and cosy with all standard amenities. Staff are really what makes this place special though!
The grounds are really beautiful, the breakfast was lovely and the staff are great. The rooms could do with a face lift and a clean out. The surfaces seemed clean but there were lots of cobwebs around the windows. Overall happy and would stay again.
Lovely friendly hotel, chosen as really close to a Wedding we were attending. Great service, even dropped us up to the venue, brilliant. Lovely grounds and great breakfast to set us on our way the next day. Would recommend...their afternoon teas look lush too.
Very friendly hosts, great breakfast, the room was clean and well decorated with complementary water, biscuits, tea coffee etc. The bathroom was well appointed, with complimentary toiletries and big fluffy towels. The double room 11 was a little snug for two people, no chair. We had a look at one of the bigger rooms and it would be well worth paying the extra, as these rooms are much more spacious. The hotel is well located for Exeter, the airport and National Trust properties.Overall very satisfied.
Clean. Small bed. Nice gardens.
Friendly and helpful welcome. Very comfortable beds. We were able to take a glass of wine into the garden and enjoy the lovely view. Good breakfast.
A very nice stay. Very friendly and helpful service. Room a little small and felt cramped. Breakfast was very good. Overall good value and would certainly stay there again.
Room was very clean and shower-room was very well appointed. Overall a little small but fine for me on my own. View was fabulous and not overlooked at all. Breakfast was OK but not cooked fresh so a little dry. This would be a great hotel if you were flying from Exeter Airport.... you can see the runway in the distance from the room, but it's not noisy.
When we checked in, Steve was incredibly helpful and gave us some suggestions as to where we could eat locally that evening. As it turned out, we were the only guests staying and he invited us to take what we wanted from the bar later that evening and just write it down - a really lovely trusting approach! The hotel is a large attractive building with a spacious lounge and a nice garden. The only slight downside was that the bed was just a standard double (a kingsize wouldn't have fitted in the room) and the pillows squashed down quite a bit. The breakfast was really good - even though we were the only people there, the standards were kept up and there was plenty of choice (and plenty of food). It was all very clean, with high standards!
lovely place friendly staff,
Everything was fantastic the owners were extremely helpful and made our weekend so very special. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
This is my regular stop when working in Exeter. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Rooms are small and the décor isn't modern, but it's quiet and comfortable, everything I need.
Made very welcome and serviceS exceeded expectations.
This was an ideal start for a short break with friends flying from Exeter to Jersey. An overnight stay prepared us for an early start with parking for our car and transfers to and back from the Airport. All very satisfactory.
Really friendly and well looked after.
Its in lovely location and a really nice old house tastefully decorated oozing lots of charm
Nice stay, room basic and small but clean.
Excellent breakfast. The sitting room was very comfortable and the grounds were pleasant to drive through. The staff were very friendly and cheerful.
Close to Exeter Airport in quiet beautiful location. Staff was very helpful.
Good friendly service, however the room was somewhat dated.
Excellent hotel very clean excellent hospitality and superb breakfast. Little bit of main road which ensures a quiet night and also has parking facilities. totally recommended
Lovely hotel, very quiet location, nice breakfast. Only complaint is that the sign to the long driveway is easy to miss.
Very friendly welcome, wonderful afternoon tea and a superb breakfast. However, it really is a B & B and NOT a hotel. The owners have not had it long and it is desperately in need of some TLC and updating. Very 70s/80s pine furniture in bedroom! It could be a beautiful country house hotel!!
I liked the countryside. Excellent location. There is no lift.
