Clean room

The bed was a bit too soft and some of the mugs at the coffee facility were dirty

Very clean and organised

The double room only had 1 comfy chair to sit on on an evening . Couldn’t understand why only 1 was provided in a room for 2 adults . We felt the car park should be free for hotel guests too with the hotel being situated out of town . We had to pay £20 per day .

Comfortable bed

Exceptionally rude reception staff. Arrived at 3pm to be told rooms not ready. Staff (Maria) rolling eyes at us and tutting. Kept waiting more than 30 minutes. No apology. Similar disorganised chaos at check out. Would not recommend or go back because of the poor customer service.

Property was very clean. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. I really like the terrace area behind the dining area.

The rooms were spacious and spotless. The evening meal was excellent, as was the breakfast though we had to leave too early. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Moderne und saubere Zimmer, sehr funktional und gut zu erreichen mit dem Auto. Große und viele Parkplätze inkl. E Lade Möglichkeit. Frühstück war sehr gut.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht, eines war sehr laut, wegen Defekt im Badezimmer und eine Alternative und Lösung wurde uns zunächst nicht angeboten. Wir mussten dann in einem Zimmer übernachten.

The location just off the motorway but still very quiet in the hotel. The focus on eco friendly. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless.

Tea and coffee should be in room , we had a long walk to our station in corridor. we was offered a kettle when we booked in but didn't think it would be necessary for a one night stay.

It was very near to my friends place, which is what I needed. The room was a nice size and the beds were comfortable.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t control the air. The room felt warm and stuffy, and the fan provided helped a little. However, I prefer to control the ac myself and that’s not an option.

Brand new, welcoming staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms, convenient location for travelling in the area around Exeter. Female member of staff very kindly rescinded my parking fee in return for room feedback.

15/05 There was a staff member at breakfast who made me & my wife feel like I was lying to him about having chosen the breakfast option. He spent a few minutes checking for my name but couldn’t find it. Even though I told him that yes I paid extra for breakfast and the day before, the receptionist confirmed my booking with breakfast as well. Instead of asking us to have a seat and he’ll find my name/room in his own time, he made us just stand there while there were other people behind us forming a queue. Voco is excellent but I have been to much fancier hotels in the world and no one has ever done that even if they struggled to find my name. Hypothetically even if I wasn’t sure if I selected the breakfast option or not, just charge me on the deposit you took at the start. Just felt really strange and the breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast, nothing out of this world for him to be so vexed about it. This looks really bad for your brand & is upsetting. My request would be to speak to him & ask him not to do that to guests. Don’t make me & my wife stand there like criminals if you fail to find my booking.

Only problem was the doors slam shut due to being fire doors but it wakes you in night and early morning as people leave their rooms. Was a noisy hotels in general and couldn’t get streaming on Tv nothing major.

Bedrooms, staff, restaurant, cleanliness, comfy beds, good temperature, safety.

The doors to all the bedrooms are very loud and slam shut. Sadly as many staying here are going to the airport etc or out in Exeter, this noise goes on throughout much of the late night and early morning. I’m certain this could be resolved by adjusting the doors to soft close and not slam. This would cost money but I think many more people would return for repeat stays if tray could be done as the regular slamming is enough to shock anyone awake and repeatedly.

The location was very close to the motorway and easy to find. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the whole feel of the hotel was relaxed and efficient. The breakfast choices were excellent in a bright and comfortable area.

The parking charge of £10 was quite high and was not clear when I booked.

Adapted bathroom was probably best we have found …and unlike many hotels the bed was a super king size for some reason hotels offering adapted facilities never offer a decent sized bed or twin beds

The bathroom needs at least one shelf there was nowhere to put a toiletry bag or toiletries!

Not to sure about the coffee/tea/water stations on the landings. Especially for an evening cuppa or early morning cuppa in your dressing gown wandering around the corridor.

Didn’t realise it was dog friendly throughout, think it would be better if visitors with dogs were allocated on a set amount of floors whilst giving the option for guest with allergies to be accommodated on separate floors

Hôtel d'une propriété inégalé et pas très loin de l'aéroport. Je ne suis resté qu'un soir mais c'était très pratique. Ils ont un restaurant aussi. Personnel vraiment très sympathique.

Lovely new, stylish hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms simple but stylish and very clean. Gym facilities were small but well equipped with high quality equipment i.e. Peloton bike. Restaurant and bar were lovely, good food. Don't be put off by the fact there's no aircon - the rooms are cool and comfortable. Theres not a lot in the local area, its mainly industrial or residential estates but its well positioned off the motorway. I would stay again.

Although the restaurant and bar were good, it was very expensive i.e. £25 for a chicken Caesar salad. Also, £10 a night to park in a hotel carpark is unfair.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing! Lots of food variety to choose from. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay!

The staff are excellent, always helpful and professional, nothing is too much for them. The room was well appointed and the air conditioning was very welcome in the current heatwave - it was also surprisingly quiet. Loved the whole concept of sustainability which was followed through in every aspect from energy efficiency, choice of materials, reducing waste and even the landscaping. We loved spending time on the terrace and I felt very inspired by the plants chosen for the garden, all full of interest yet drought resistant.

Can’t think of anything other than maybe the daily parking fee?

Food was lovely - we had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were very good and we would recommend friends and family to use the restaurant even if they’re not staying in the hotel! The bed was very comfortable and the room was well lit and quiet. The TV was huge also! Which is good because we both didn’t need our glasses to watch it.

We didn’t know the parking would be at a cost per night but we didn’t mind paying it when it was mentioned.

The restaurant let it down. At dinner, although the bang bang cauliflower was really good, the chicken goujons were overcooked and dry, and for our main course the smash burgers were also overcooked and the 'candied bacon' was burnt. The waiter was really good though.

The whole hotel is very stylish. The bed are huge and very comfy. Breakfast was great - really tasty and high quality. Really like the water and drinks station idea.

Das Frühstück war perfekt. Das Hotel liegt nah an der Autobahn und ist zur Durchreise perfekt geeignet. Es wird sehr viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Betten sind groß und bequem. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich.

We booked a king room. We got a disabled room with a disabled shower which was very uncomfortable to use. I did not see an indication for a disabled room when I booked the room. I was expecting a normal bathroom.

Everything- perfect situation- just off m5 - ten mins from beautiful topsham and 15 from exeter . Fabulous terrace overlooking lovely gardens and a great view . Evening meal and breakfast excellent. The staff so pleasant and helpful .A fabulous fully eco hotel - perfect stop off on way to Cornwall

The front desk staff were very Helpful. Both of the evening meals were really good. the room was satisfactory athough it seemed a little too functional for me

My complaint was that the hot and Cold drinks options were a wayat the end of the hall so if you wanted a drink thenyou woiuld have to go to the drinks station which If you were just getting up or ready for bed made the trip up the corridor a real pain.

Comfortable bed and Friendly staff

I called customer support way before I checked in to ask about air conditioning. I was told that there was no AC in the rooms, however each room had a cooling fan. This was reassuring When I checked in I asked about a fan and the receptionist said that there isn't one in the room, but explained about the window (despite me asking about a fan...). I then came down later to say I was still quite warm and requested a fan, and the receptionist stated they would send one up. Came back to the hotel later that night to no fan in the warm room and when I went down past midnight to ask where my fan was, they said they had none left. This was extremely frustrating because I started asking about the fan situation from the moment I checked in. It was an uncomfortable night due to being warm. I believe that due to reduced comfort there should be a discount as I did not receive what was agreed...

Good location for an overnight pit stop

No AC but it is an eco hotel. Restaurant was quite expensive

It’s short drive from town centre but peaceful location. On site car park. Water server is available on each floor. Steam hanging iron in the room was useful.

Can’t make tea and coffee in the room, have to go to outside the room. There is no safety box in the room. Room is a little small, it’s enough for one person but not much space to put luggage for two people.

Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms are great, we have stayed twice now, the drinks in the corridors are a great idea , this time we managed to relax in the outdoor seating area which was very comfortable and had tapas food before going out. There is a bus that takes you direct to the University and city centre.

Not connected to the hotel but the £10/ night parking for an electric car seems harsh but I believe the parking area is operated by a different company. Other than that nothing.
