Подигравателното и неуважително отношение на персонала. При пристигането ни ни казаха да си търсим място за паркиране из града, където намерим (мисия невъзможна).Опитахме се да направим резервация за вечеря в ресторанта на хотела-беше ни отказано с насмешка. Това е малък град, в който има много малко ресторанти и не успяхме да намерим място за хранене. На закуска не пожелаха да ни направят еспресо, защото момичето, което ни обслужваше нямала време.

Had a nice view out the window, but we were on the 2nd floor and could hear everything, the room above us and the music from the bar. Noisy!!

The bed wasn’t as comfortable as the others we have slept in so far and the value for your $$. Definitely not.

The most overpriced hotel I have ever visited in over 250 trips globally. Over $600 US for a room that was so small it could only fit 2 single beds and no chairs. It had peeling wallpaper. While no view was stipulated-the only window looked out on a mud garden 2 ft from the window. All of this is ok for a room that cost less than $250US. The hotel says their pricing is competitive with other Skye accomodations. I doubt it. The only thing they said that was true when I asked them about this is that accommodations on Skye are limited. I don't think that should allow these people to gouge visitors. Charge a fair price and sell out. PS one can stay almost anywhere else in Scotland in 4 star rooms for less than 2/3's of this cost. Bunchrew in Inverness and the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton for instance. Skye is great but It may require staying elsewhere.

Van esmenar l’error de reserva de seguida i ens van fer un upgrade realment substanciall per la nostra estada, més acord amb la reserva. El personal de recepció és pacient i comprensiu. La localitzaci´ño inmillorable.

El servei de restaurant , especialment l’esmorçar és a la carta i triguen molt. Ens van fer perdre molt de temps els dos dies. Han de fer una millora del procediment i demanar l’esmorçar la niot abans per tenir una bona experència com altres llocs. No van ser empàtics en no voler estar més de 40’ esperant . Sense la bona habitació gran amb el llit de mida KIng l’estada hagués estat molt cara i de pesima qualitat preu. La illa de Sky mereix relax per descansar i prendre forces i l’habiatció petita no cobreix l’espectativa. No es pot esperar una sala on estar, si un bon bar molt animat. Millor sopar fora i anar a fer la copa al bar.

Large comfortable room and beds, good shower. Great restaurant and location .

Heaters were hard to manage, shower very sensitive, some of the lights didn’t work, problems with electrical.

Very clean. Fabulous location with amazing views. We ate at the Dulse and Roth restaurant and the food was beautiful. It was my dad’s 82nd birthday and the staff gave him a card and a candle which was very kind.

There is no parking. Although there are some publicly owned spaces in front of the hotel there are no dedicated spaces for guests. This makes it difficult when loading and unloading the car especially if you have some guests with mobility issues. Although there was a parking lot within 300-400 feet, this was accessible via steep steps. The night we stayed was incredibly busy which meant that the bartending staff were slow and not as friendly. All other staff were lovely.

The hotel was well placed and the bedroom was very comfortable. Our room looked over the water which made it feel something really special.

It’s not the hotels fault but being at the front of the hotel meant we were exposed to deliveries to the local co-op. These started around 4am which made it difficult to sleep.

Our room was comfortable, clean and wifi works well. Good view from the room.

We were disappointed with Bosville . Unfortunately very much all due to staff. The lady who booked us in was unbelievably unfriendly, unwelcoming and remained so during our three day stay there. It did tend to ruin the stay for us . There is no parking at all as stated but no help is given in how to sort yourself out. In comparison to booking at other hotels they even give you a list and map and prices of where to park. Thanks to Katrina who in the end came through and was friendly.

I was very impressed with the hotel and the restaurant that is on the ground floor. The breakfast was excellent. The service was great! Highly recommend.

Great location, great clean rooms, but restaurant was a bit expensive for the food you get. Love the location in Portree but if you’re on the second floor, it can get a tad noisy from restaurant/pub music. Loved the room and everything is very clean and quite nice. Bathroom is great and the sheets were nice.

My daughter’s boyfriend proposed to her whilst staying at your Hotel. I phoned the reception to ask if I could pay for a bottle of champagne for them. Jackie took our call and arranged everything, what a pleasure it was to speak to such a lovely lady, polite, professional and so understanding. She put the bottle into their room with a card saying congratulations from mum and dad, this part she did without me asking. So kind and thoughtful. Many thanks Jackie clearly a marvellous asset to your employer. Alex Fleming

Lovely hotel with great staff, especially the wonderful Solomon on reception and the exceptionally helpful & friendly ladies who keep the rooms spotless. We were in room 19 and loved our view of the main street and harbour. Breakfasts were delicious. We had dinner one evening and enjoyed our meal. Only one wee gripe was service at breakfast. Friendly but slow, lack of plates for fruit & yogurt and only saucers for toast. No offer of second cup of coffee. It didn’t impact though and Our stay was fabulous though and we will be back

The entire hotel was cold and draughty; the bar, the dining room, the bedroom and especially the hallway and stairway. The tiled bathroom floor was unheated and therefore freezing to walk on. There is no lift and the stairs are narrow and plentiful.

We were put in a room that was directly over the bar. The music was turned up at 8:30 and became too loud to sleep. Before that it had been unnoticeable The concierge asked the bar tender to turn it down and he had an attitude about it. The front desk lady remedied the situation and gave us a different room on the other side of the hotel but she had to take me into the bar to discuss with the bar tender bc she clearly wasn’t getting anywhere about the noise level by herself and thought maybe bringing me in would help. It did not. He basically told me “too bad”

Super friendly staff, lovely room, great breakfast

We asked to move rooms for the second night as the heating plant must have been next door and was a little distracting overnight. Staff gave us a new room straightaway without any fuss

The food was excellent,staff friendly and helpful.

The fan in the bathroom wasn't working and loo roll could be a bit further from the loo.but my husband reported this to the reception

Für das kleine Zimmer war es etwas zu teuer. Im Restaurant, in dem wir morgens und abends gegessen haben, war es erstaunlich kalt. Das Porridge zum Frühstück war in unseren anderen schottischen Unterkünften besser. Aber ich meckere auf hohem Niveau.

The cottage was charming, comfortable, and a welcome change from standard rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff members were very attentive. Front desk attendant was delightful.

Hotel was booked for the next night so we couldn't stay over.

The room was very nice. There was a problem with the heather in our room and the reception give us a portable heater for the night. It is very close to the supermarket, cafe, and other shops.

The Bosville was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Superb in every way. Very thoughtful touches in the room, like quality products in the bathroom and gorgeous snacks, and the softness of the bed and the high quality cotton linen. The dinners were amazing and the staff were friendly. The view from my window was incredible.

We loved our stay! The room was so cozy, had the best tea setup (and snacks + water), and the location was perfect. We loved being able to just walk down the stairs into the little pub and having breakfast here in the morning. Our room was impeccably clean, the tub in the bathroom was big enough for a full-size mermaid (which ended up being me), and the little touches of hospitality and comfort made the Bosville one of our favorite stays in Scotland. I would 100% recommend staying here and will most certainly not hesitate to book again. Additionally, I can't say enough good things about the staff--they are so thoughtful! It was my husband's birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for us, which meant so much!

The room was very large, much bigger than I expected. The bathroom was also huge with a bath tub. The location is great, close to everything in Portree. Lovely staff and amazing breakfast

There is a lot of noise from the bar. It didn’t particularly bother me so I didn’t ask for a different room but if that is something that bothers you I would ask for a quieter room away from the bar.

De eerste kamer was top, alleen kwam er geen stroom uit de stopcontacten. Daarvoor direct een andere kamer gekregen, die wel stroom had. Was iets kleiner, maar nog steeds goed. De spiegel in de badkamer hing door het schuine plafond wat te laag.

We booked a 3 night stay at the Bosville hotel the room was at the back of the hotel next to the fire escape this door was left open twice overnight, also very noisy in the evening from staff talking outside and awful smells from the kitchen. The hand basin in the bathroom had no hot water for the entire stay it was reported the first morning and twice after that. We went to visit family on the second day and returned around tea time the room had not been serviced which I reported to reception on our way out to a restaurant on returning it still hadn’t been serviced I complained again and received clean towels from the receptionist and I reminded her again about the hot water issue. The last morning I requested coffee which was sent back as it was coloured water certainly not coffee, my husband ordered Eggs Benedict which on the menu is home cooked ham and he was given undercooked streaky bacon. We booked the hotel because we had stayed in the past and knew what to expect this experience certainly wasn’t what we expected. I spoke to the receptionist the morning we checked out and remembered her from previous visit and told her about the issues she had just returned from annual leave and she couldn’t apologise enough, all I said was we booked the hotel because we knew what to expect it’s been quite the opposite. No apparent senior management on duty the entire stay. A very unhappy couple

Charming little hotel that feels like you’re in a seaside cottage. Great location in Portree with rooms overlooking the harbour. The staff were very nice (except the bar tender at the attached bar who was very rude)

The room was very small. It only had a double (full) size bed which wasn’t very comfortable. As 2 6’+ people it made for 2 uncomfortable nights sleep. The shower was also tiny and the water was either cold or scalding hot, we couldn’t find a temperature in between

Great location with wonderful restaurant. Also, pub attached but we didn’t try it. Room was large and clean. Loved the bathroom, great towels and robes.

Too hot and no control in the room. Bed was very small, and would have liked a mini fridge. No umbrellas for customer use, odd for Scotland.

the location ; near the harbour, the staff gave us ideas on where to go. there was this receptionist , she was kind and showed us some maps etc . the atmosphere was rather posh but the people were kind. rooms; products in the bathroom, kettle , coffee machine , hairdryers etc . the value , the room was expensive but the experience was incredible and the room was quiet and clean . everyone was able to sleep and view was extraordinary . no noise from anywhere , it was a comfortable stay. Great location in downtown. Our room was on the third floor very spacious, but no elevator or help from bell service. The bar is really nice. It was closed to hotel guests on our first night and it was wonderful. We ate dinner at the hotel the first night the food was good and the service were excellent. We ate breakfast at the hotel which was full service and very good. Our second night we ate a local restaurant and came back to the hotel for drinks before bed and the bar was packed. We couldn't get a seat. The only real issues we had was I did not have a hot shower either day and parking is a problem if you have a rental. I was told they would give us some type of discount for the shower, but have not heard from them.

The room was very spacious and the amenities were great!

The wifi was not working on the TV so we could not stream anything. But the big issue was that there was a large impression on one side of the bed that made it so uncomfortable. My friend and I ended up flipping the mattress which helped a little but they really need a new bed in that room. Especially for a suite.

Great place to base yourself on the Isle of Skye. Breakfast great,and early for those wanting to get out there.. perfect spot to explore town..

The bar is a bit muddled with one man serving. I ordered a large Sauvignon blanc.. I never saw any wine list only a whiskey list. I nearly fainted when he said £12.50. That is London prices!! You can tell its end of season the staff seemed over whelmed. I visited a hotel the next day in Portree Sq and ordered a large sauvignon blanc £7.90. That was more like it plus there was good music playing. I dont rate this bar at all. Over priced and lack lustre.

Das Zimmer ist sehr alt, abgewohnt , klein. Das Bad nicht sauber , der Ausblick vom Fenster ist auf eine Steinmauer ( mit Pflanzen). Also eine Dunkelkammer.
