Reviewed Sep 14, 2026This was a great hotel in a great location. There was lots of eateries around the hotel and whilst they were filled with salarymen, it all made for a unique place to stay. The room was excellent and clean and the breakfast was very good - and we appreciated the fresh soy milk at the buffet too.
The onsen users could get quite noisy - more guidance could be displayed around this.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Quartier hyper central - tout est à 30 min en métro/JR - vivant le soir pour dîner avec une offre de restaurant hyper variée Onsen bien agréable après les 15/20 km/j Possibilité d’accès au Onsen le soir de notre départ (nous avions un vol qui partait à 2h du mat d’Haneda) - être propre avant un vol de nuit ça n’a pas de prix Personnel au petits soins - ménage impeccable On est fan de cette chaîne En voyageant avec un enfant (7 ans) je réserve pour 3 adultes pour qu’il ait le lit de fait sur la banquette (sinon il partage notre lit - on s’était fait « avoir » avec l’enfant gratuit l’année dernière)

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Ontbijt was prima, locatie ook, alles was schoon en netjes. Onsen gratis te gebruiken in tegenstelling tot veel andere hotels. Mooi uitzicht. Metro makkelijk te bereiken, veel restaurantjes en shops in de omgeving. Ondanks dat je in een drukke buurt zit, geen overlast.
Te bedden waren voor ons te klein. Wij moesten met 4 mensen; 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen in 2 bedden slapen die te klein waren. Voor Japanners misschien niet, maar de bedden waren voor ons te smal. Leek voor onze begrippen gewoon 1-persoonsbedden. Dus 1 persoon heeft op een (harde) bank geslapen die ook te smal was. Kamers erg gehorig.

U-Bahn ca 5 min zu Fuß- top Attraktionen mit max 1 mal umsteigen alle super zu erreichen (disneyland, shibuya, kaiserpalast, flugahfen haneda, team lab Planet tokyo etc. Waren mit 2 Kids (7&10). Man teilt sich die Betten mit den Kindern. Klar wars kuschelig aber die Betten super bequem! Wir kommen wieder!
Es wäre toll wenn Handtücher direkt im Oasen verfügbar wären. Im Urlaub ist man ja leicht vergesslich und so musste ich entweder aufs Zimmer oder zur Rezeption laufen um welche zu holen.

Es fehlten ein Bett und Stauraum. Wir haben kein großes Zimmer erwartet, aber für 4 Personen ein Doppelbett und eine schmale Liege/Sofa mit sehr harter Unterlage sollte nicht als 4-Personen-Zimmer angeboten werden. Kein Schrank oder sonstiges, mit 3 großen Koffern spannend.

The best part is definitely the rooftop communal bath, which stays open until late, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
The only drawback is that there are quite a few of nightclubs in the neighborhood.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Das Perdonal war äußerst freundlich. Wir konnten unser Gepäck am Anreisetag und auch am Abreisetag in der Lobby bis zum check in und auch nach dem check out aufbewahren. Es gibt eine riesige Anzahl an Restaurants, Bars und kleinen Supermärkten in der direkten Umgebung. Die Metrostation ist ganz in der Nähe.
Eigentlich hat alles so gepasst wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026The location was very convenient. It was close to the station and walking distance to Ginza and Roppongi. We rarely had to change transportation when going somewhere because of all the different lines going through Shimbashi The room was exactly what we expected from the pictures. The staff was nice and helpful and everything was easy from check-in to using the washer / dryer We didn't use the sento so I have no opinion on that.
The breakfast was underwhelming and we only ate there twice during the 2 weeks we stayed. If we were to return, I would not add breakfast to my booking.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Ligt in de geweldige wijk Shimbashi. Veel leuke eettentjes en barretjes en net niet te druk. Verder dichtbij het station, dus makkelijk om je heen en weer door de stad te bewegen. De accommodatie was prima. Groot genoeg voor 2 personen.
Als je de kamer binnenloopt dan ruikt het wat muf. Er kan geen raam open. Maar dat was ook alles.

Prior advice from staff would be useful in case you are there when an earthquake hits....the procedure in Japan is such that you stay inside the building/hotel unless instructed otherwise...We did not get these instructions...so we took the fire escape down to the street...which is actually not what you are supposed to do.

La stanza da 4 persone è un loculo. Invivibile. Abbiamo dovuto spedire le valigie prima per poterci girare nella stanza. Ci siamo dovuti andare a lavare ogni sera all onsen perché il bagno era ingestibile per 4 persone.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Nachdem das Candeo in Osaka uns schon sehr überzeugt hatte, mussten wir bei dieser Reise erneut in einem Candeo übernachten! Die Lage nahe Shimbashi ist sehr gut zu erreichen. Beim Betreten des Hotel strömt ein angenehmes Raumparfüm entgegen, welches ich mir auch für Zuhause gekauft habe. Das Zimmer hat eine gute Größe und die Sitzecke am Fenster finde ich persönlich großartig! Das Bett mit den Simmons-Matratzen ist super gemütlich und darauf habe ich sehr gut geschlafen. Mein Mann hat die Sky Spa jeden Abend genutzt, auch wenn diese kleiner ist als in Osaka. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man kann über den Fernseher die Reinigung des Zimmers jeden Tag einstellen. Um die Waschmaschinen nutzen zu können, muss man sich eine App herunterladen und den Waschvorgang digital bezahlen (fand ich super, da die Waschmaschinen nicht ständig belegt waren). Das Frühstück hatten wir nicht dazu gebucht, da an jeder Straßenecke ein konbini steht.
Mini Kontra: Beim leeren des Mülls wäre es super, wenn auch Klopapier nachgefüllt wird (ohne dass man die Zimmerreinigung bucht)

It was a very bad smell in the room. The hotel should do something about this because our friends also had the same problem with their room.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Il quartiere e la posizione dell'albergo è ottima. c'è la spa all'ultimo piano e il personale è molto premuroso. Scelta della colazione molto ampia e ben presentata. Ci sono tantissimi ristoranti attorno all'albergo e la metro è vicinissima.
Da europeo, le camere sono molto piccole. Non c'è un armadio per mettere i vestiti. So che è una cosa tipica giapponese però loro rifanno solo il letto e la pulizia del bagno, non passano l'aspirapolvere durante tutto il soggiorno e non credo che abbiano cambiato le lenzuola.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026CLEAN. Great location. Walking distance to Shimbashi station that includes the Yamanote loop line and Ginza line. The breakfast was an absolute treat every morning and the hotel is near dozens of restaurants. I literally started and ended my day in the relaxing onsen that included a sauna cold soak and hot bath. The best part of this hotel is that it is not situated in a touristy area, but has easy access to the popular areas of Tokyo.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Myself and my 6'0" son stayed in the twin room 194 square ft. I was worried it would be to small but it was more spacious than I anticipated. We had plenty of room. We accessed the shimbashinstation daily and on multiple occasions. Plenty of food places and loved the convenience of having a 7/11, lawsons and family mart within walking distance. The room was clean and just an overall great location. We received toothbrushes and toothpaste. We loved the comfortable pajamas and slippers. The breakfast was delicious as well. We were able to try new dishes than what we are use to. Loved our first Japan trip.

Es gab nur ein Doppelbett bei der Dreierbelegung. Die dritte Schlafgelegenheit war ein umfunktionierter Sitzbank mit Kissen… sehr unbequem. Leider.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026The location of the hotel was amazing, very easy to reach to one of the main stations (Shinbashi) and there were so many attractions around the hotel, great restaurants, cafes, kombinis, karaoke places - everything was within walking distance. The hotel room was spacious enough for Tokyo standards and the room was comfy, we had everything we needed. Breakfast had a lot of options, both Japanese and international and it was quite tasty.

Die Zimmer sind winzig, das Bad ebenso. Fenster kaum oder gar nicht zu öffnen. Geputzt word nur wenn man vor 8!! Über den Fernseher bescheid gibt...der Onsen ist ein winziges Planschbecken hinter trüben Fenstern...

空調不是中央空調，是各房間子機，很不錯。 但是設置的風口位置直接對床頭，容易著涼，但不開又很熱。

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026room was very spacious and met all my needs and was very quiet. Breakfast was amazing with many options and at a good price. Location was near many restaurants, convenient store and most importantly close to train station which was just a short walk - we felt safe and it was very quiet. SPA was a real treat - love that it is included and is very well maintained and added to the entire Japan experience of learning about the culture. Liked having water in the room each day that was important

連泊時、タオル交換の時は外に置いておけるようになると部屋に入られる不安がなくなるのでいいかと思いました。

Reviewed May 31, 2026Cogimos una habitación con una ventana muy grande que hacía esquina con unas vistas muy buenas. Nos encantó tener esas vistas de la ciudad durante nuestra estancia. Las instalaciones del onsen estaban muy muy bien, nos gustó mucho la experiencia y que permitiesen acceder con tatuajes. La cama y las almohadas eran cómodas. La nevera de la habitación enfriaba muy bien.
El baño era demasiado pequeño, y a veces olía un poco a tuberías. En la habitación echamos de menos que hubiese una zona de armario, solo había unas barras para poner perchas en una pared.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Hotel tranquilo. Camas cómodas. El personal nos atendió perfectamente en inglés. Osen que permite tatuajes, muy limpio y prácticamente solo los días que fui.
La zona donde está ubicado esta llena de bares con mala pinta. El metro pilla a unos 10 minutos caminando, lo cual no es tan cómodo cuando llegas cansado del viaje. Precio más elevado que la media. Me hubiese gustado el agua del Onsen más caliente.

A bit dated. Old mattress - they should put a mattress topper on it if they want to continue using it. The bidet doesn’t work well and should be replaced. Funky smell in the room and stained carpet. Old kettle. Was expecting better. This was our last stay after a week in Japan and definitely not my favourite. Really needs some updating for the price point. And the staff could be more welcoming. Don’t think I would stay here again.

Je n’ai pas trop apprécié le quartier de shimbashi en lui même.
