The room was very spacious and had 2 bathrooms. The location is great and close to lots of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helped us get smaller change since the ATM only gave out $100 bills. Definitely recommend staying here

the staff are extremely great people and i made very good friends with one of the staff Sakk, who is the most lovely and caring person and even took me to see the city and cool local khmer stuff while off work. the rooms are very cool with a loft and feels very cozy and comfy. good aircon, hot showers, great people, great location on a quiet street.

the loft and stairs would be difficult for older people or anyone that would struggle with that. for me, no problem

In the room it smelled like cigarette smoke and we could smell it in our clothes even days after!

Very good location and all the rooms have potential but they need a lot of work. It's a really nice building and from the photos, we were excited to stay but sadly I think these photos are over 5 y.o.

Wayne on reception greeted us, and there was a huge cobweb behind him. When I pointed it out, he was already aware but not at all fazed. He sent us up 5 flights of steep stairs to 501 and 502 - he talked a lot about leaving the key card in for the electricity because the 5th floor is the hottest so we should keep the AC running. 502 (mine), the A/C didn't work and 501 didn't have anywhere for the key card. I went back down and he said 501 electricity works without needing the key card, and he said he'd send somebody up to fix my AC. We went out, when we got back they said I had to move to 201 because 502's AC didn't work. In 201, the TV didn't work but the important things were clean (bedding and towels) but there were cobwebs on the ceilings. The mattresses were on the floor which doesn't bother me but I'm not a diva/ elderly. The staircase to the beds was sturdy but a tall person couldn't have stood up up there. Also, the plug sockets were hanging off the walls and many didn't work. I had to unplug the fridge to charge my phone and my friend luckily had purchased a longer wire phone charger because the only socket working was close to a window. The room door also didn't lock, Wayne says it locks from inside then you need the key to open again. Not so, we tried. And Christine washed up in 501 then had a shower and some of the rice from our breakfast appeared in her shower so the plumbing's bad also.

- Staff were great and took my bags up the 8 flights of stairs (I was on the top floor) which was a massive help - Staff were always smiley and happy to have a chat especially main owner couple - My flight was delayed and I arrived at 1:30am and the staff stayed up to ensure I could check in and already had the aircon on in the room so it was cold and nice to arrive to - Room was spacious and good hot water and fridge is super handy and also had water bottles on arrival - Great location close to riverside and a whole bunch of restaurants and Royal Palace

- The stairs were intense (not the most large luggage friendly) but staff will help if needed. It is a good workout - Bit of mould in the bathroom but understandable since it is very high heat and humidity

La recherche de solution de l’hôte

J’ai payé pour 2 nuit mais arriver dans la chambre il y avait du produit et l’odeur chimique s’était imprégnée dans la pièce. Sans compter le nombre de fourmis présente. Étant donner que je n’avais pas payer pour cela j’ai été très mécontente et déçu. J’ai demander remboursement et ça a été refuser. J’ai donc pu avoir une autre chambre qui malgres tout ne convenait pas et j’ai du négocier pendant un long moment. Au final j’ai pu dormir qu’une seule nuit et je me suis faite rembourser la deuxième. La deuxième chambre sentait moins le produit mais j’ai retrouvé des faux cils et des cheveux dans le lit ét dans la salle de bain. Je souligne quand même le professionnalisme et le faite qu’il est chercher des solutions pour nous satisfaire.

This place radiates the charm of 1930’s French Indochina set in the vibrant heart of Phnom Penh. Curved wooden banisters, hinting at clandestine corners and old-world charm. Just up the street from the National Museum and a few minutes tuk-tuk travel to the Royal Palace. Walk the other way to many bars and local restaurants.

Très bien situé, dans une rue en plein centre. Très grande chambre avec mezzanine, avec balcon donnant sur la rue. Grands lits très confortables. Les deux ou trois (jeunes) personnes qui gèrent l'accueil et le bar sont extra.

Certains équipements ne sont pas fonctionnels, le mobilier (chaise ou tables) et installations sont parfois un peu vieillots et dégradés. L’ensemble de l'établissement mériterait un rafraîchissement.

El gran avantatge era la ubicació a la ciutat, molt a prop del riu Tonle Sap, a tocar del Palau Reial i pràcticament davant del Museu de Phnom Penh, que és una delícia.

Ni el noi de recepció de dia, ni l'hostal, força brutejat i sense encant, ni el preu, que considero car.

The staff is really caring and friendly, but the pictures show a place 15 years ago...

Cafards, fourmis, vers parasite qui sortent du robinet, fuite d'eau. Chambre sans fenêtre qui sent l'humidité. Pas moyen d'empêcher les moustiques d'entrer par la ventilation qui fait un bruit de tracteur.

Good location. Night markets, dining and riverside in a few minutes. I payed extra and stayed in the room on 1st floor. Washing machine and kitchenette ate the point. The internet is not good but OK.

Bathroom is not comfortable at all. No sponge or soap to wash dishes. Fridge has leak. Some ants. AC placed awful. Shower faucet sprinkling in all possible directions. A bit noisy

Je suis revenue ici pour la 3eme fois car c’est bien situé et pratique pour une chambre solo parfois au meme prix qu’en dortoir... et que j’aime bien le personnel

Les salles de bains mériteraient vraiment un coup de neuf. C’est étroit, rouillé par endroit, un peu sale et mon papier toilettes etait très humide.

L’état général du logement et la propreté laisse à désirer.

The location is great. Very close to the national museum, royal palace and the river. The room was comfortable. The coffee is good. Didn’t used it. But it was quite surprising to have a bath in the balcony. We were there during the weekend and the markets close the river is very nice for having dinner and see the ambiance of the city.

Some mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. But they were finally nicer than expected 😅

It was a perfect location near the Royal Palace and river. Very convenient to walk to many sights and surrounded by great restaurants (local and tourist). The Royal Palace gardens and river walk at night were both an easy 5 minute walk away.

The clothes washer did not work. But the staff washed our clothes for free because of the issue. The beds were in a loft up a short staircase. So if you have mobility issues, this might not work. But with the excellent location and staff…and most importantly, the excellent AC (!) we loved our stay.

So close to main attractions-great value for the price! We also loved the loft and room layout. Really fun vibe and decor. The staircase to rooms was beautiful. The mattress was firm! But not lumpy-my back very much appreciated the comfort! Staff are so genuinely kind and helpful.

We didn’t care, but there isn’t an elevator-fyi. My kids felt the AC was too cold.

The location was great and the staff were friendly.

There were quite a few things that were broken, damaged or not working properly. We stayed in the duplex for 4 people so the value for money wasn't too bad but I think the small rooms were a bit pricey compared to some other places we stayed in the same area.

Ich habe Doppelzimmer Deluxe gebucht und habe ein stinkendes Zimmer ohne TV unter aller Niveau.. und dafür wollte die Muslim Girl an Rezeption aufschlag von 30 USD.. ich musste vorzeitig das Hotel verlassen, obwohl ich über Sie, Booking, bezahlt habe.. die haben mich auf die Straße rausgeschmissen.. mein am schlechtesten Erlebnis seit ever.. ich habe so was noch nicht erlebt.. die Nummer, die aufgeführt ist, das ist eine Nummer für alle zehn Hotels, die diese China Group RS betreibt. Da ist eine Frau, die sich als Putzfrau, Managerin, Rezeption und Director ausgibt. Und von Ihnen kam auch kein Support, obwohl ich Ihnen mehrmals geschrieben habe! Hochachtungsvoll g.dinter

Находиться в 3 минутах от набережной. Комната двухъярусная: на втором этаже находиться кровать и там-же кондиционер. Постельное чистое. В номере есть холодильник, фен для волос, электрический чайник, чашки. Первое время в душевой был сильный запах канализации, но потом, после первого приема душа он исчез - может быть просто никто не жил в комнате и высохли водяные затворы канализации. В номере было тихо, соседей не слышно совсем. Тараканов нет, муравьев нет. Единственное: на втором уровне находиться кровать и потолок там низкий, нельзя стать и походить - нужно почти заползать - т.е. такой несколько не традиционный вариант для европейцев, но мне это не доставляло неудобств, скорее наоборот - прикольно. Персонал позитивный, всегда помогали, открывали дверь в отель даже поздно ночью с улыбкой. Я доволен !

Location with peaceful surroundings and the room was actually better than I expected 😉 A little gem I found after living in Phnom Penh for 8 years! I'll definitely recommend it to anyone.

L'entrée paraît sale. L escalier qui mène aux chambres, paraît sale. La chambre aussi, matelas par terre. Peinture des murs complètement décrépite. Porte de la salle de bain qui ne s ouvre pas en entier. Ambiance pas agréable de tout. 20 dollars pour cela, c'est très cher. La deuxième nuit nous avons changé d hôtel. Un surcout pour nous. Très très décevant.

I found the staff very helpful. The location was right near the river. It was nice to have a washing machine. However, they don't provide a lot of toilet paper.

It felt like being in a prison. There was mold in the bathroom, no hot water, and the drain overflowed. I killed a giant cockroach, too. You can find a better place in town for this price. It should be more like 10 dollars a night here.

The clearness. Many insect's cocons especially in the bathroom. The air con barely worked but with the fan it did well.

We liked the location of the property and was an easy check in

There was a rat issue and saw two at check in. There was strap stairs with no lift so not accessible. The door didn’t lock properly so there’s felt unsafe. The air one unit was Brocken held together with tape and had to be permanently on and was extremely cold as it was directly above the beds. The shower flooded everywhere and there was ants all over the ground floor in the room.

Excellent Location: The hotel is very well situated, close to a variety of restaurants and within walking distance of a museum. Friendly Staff: The staff were consistently polite, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. Convenient Cafeteria: There’s a cafeteria on the ground floor, which was a nice perk. I enjoyed being able to simply head downstairs for a coffee without needing to leave the building.

Severe Water Issues: Unfortunately, this was a major downside. Out of the seven nights I stayed, five nights had no running water. Even during the day, the water would sometimes stop working, requiring me to go downstairs to report it and wait for it to be fixed. Faulty Laundry Amenities: The washing machine’s dryer function didn’t work at all, making it essentially unusable.

The stay in Phnom Penh was okay – I would rate it 7 out of 10. The room could definitely use some maintenance, as it felt a bit worn out. However, the service was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly, which made the experience much better.

Loft-style bed was comfortable, but low ceiling made it a bit awkward when upstairs.

Location right in the middle of everything

No lift stairs only. Mattress on floor no bed base. Sewer smell in bathroom. Waste under basin not connected so when you use it it ran out onto your feet and floor. Reported to staff when we arrived not fixed when we left 3 day later.

Pictures look better than reality… but good value for the price!! Very good situation!

It was in the fifth floor and there is no lift. The fan was very noisy and the TV was not working.

The staff was kindly waiting for us when we arrived past midnight although hotel doors close at 10pm. Good hot shower and Wi-Fi. Air con light but enough.

The room is small and on 2 levels, pay attention to your head on the upper floor if you are over 1,6mt (5.25feet).

Cleanliness, comfort…beds were very uncomfortable, had water leaking through floor on 3rd night, noise from people passing on stairs outside room, cafe below was a students homework get together. The accommodation was very dated and needed some attention and proper cleaning.

Prime location. Walking distance to Tonle Sap, Independence Square, Central Market, Night Market, main Wat. Great for family with kids, with provided facilities Friedly staff with ready to help attitude.

The accommodation has seen better days and is in need of renovation. For us both bathroom knobs were inoperative, which was fixed by the staff a day later. The oven cum hotplates were inoperative might be even shorting. The staff got it replaced from the one in another room.

We were on the top floor so there were a lot of stairs! The AC could’ve been better

Location is right next to the center, a quick walk to the old market and river cafes, but quiet. The staff are super nice. I rented a scooter 3 doors towards the center for $6 per day. It's all one needs to tour all the sights. There's little traffic so it's safe, but the distances are too long for a bicycle.

The room was equipped with air conditioning. There was water-refill available and hot water, but downstairs.

Sadly none of the rooms have windows (None!) and you feel like in a bunker. The air conditioning is pre-set and you dont have a control to change it. Also the "free" things you are promised (Coffee, tea, water kettle) are not included.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The stay was great for the value of money. Its near and walkable to the sites to visit - Museum, Palace, Night Market, River Cruise.

Good location, friendly staff, quiet room with a safe. It's adequate for one or two nights on a budget, although the price was not especially good value.

The room was dark, and, the mezzanine bed (a mattress on the floor) had a very low ceiling. There was a smell of damp in the room. The WIFi was intermittent.
