Getting a parking space a worry as limited,stairs a bit rickety and access from car park awkward

Staff very friendly. Restaurant next door but didnt use it. Free parking was a bonus too.

Bathroom very very small and bed crammed into a small space where one side was next to the wall so had to climb out of the bottom. Tv was opposite the bathroom and should have been opposite the bed.

TV didn't work, Light up mirror didn't work. No plug in the sink for washing/shaving. No Floor mat or towel to stand on when I got out of the shower. No cleaning done all week, beds never made or changed, room dirty I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom before I could use it. Cleaner knocked my toothbrush onto the bathroom floor and my cpap mask onto the floor and left them, all he did was empty the bin on the 3rd day. cockroach running around room that I had to dispose of. stairs from carpark to reception resembled something from final destination.

There was no breakfast served, however convenience of food eaterie around the hotel helped. My room was okay.

The uncleanliness of the hotel stairs carpet. Bed linen was not change, sink , shower room was not cleaned for my time of staying in the hotel . I believe when guests are not in there rooms cleaning should be done instead it was not.

I’ve been fined and my appeal rejected, the booking included free parking but I’m now being threatened with court because I refuse to pay

Lovely big room, no milk for a coffee, and the duvet cover was ripped but tje bed was comfortable. Tv could have done with being a bit bigger.

I couldn't have a coffee in the morning due to no milk. Was a little noisey being on the main road and no fan in the bedroom as was hot even with the window open

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect for our purpose. The size of the room was reasonable and we slept without any noise or disturbance.

There is no lift in the hotel so a struggle up the stairs after a full day travelling or being out. The room was basic with a slight musty odour and stains on the carpet. Also, the spiralling metal stairs up to the reception from the car park with poor lighting should be made safer with brighter lights. The TV didn't work and only complimentary coffee was provided but no hot chocolate or biscuites. The bed was not made up.

. There is nothing to like about the property and that’s why I checked out straight away.

The overall condition of the room was unacceptable. The carpets were severely neglected, and the single-glazed windows provided zero sound insulation, making the relentless traffic noise unbearable. Worse still, the bed frame was literally being propped up by a piece of plywood. The living conditions were so poor that I had no choice but to check out on my very first night and find alternative accommodation.

The location and the friendly staff

The room i was given was so small, literally a bed and tiny cupboard space, plus there were alot of flies and ants, it may be due to the heat/summer but i stayed before and it was fine, but this time, i tried to ask for a larger room but the staff could not accommodate. Also the room did not have AC and just a small basic fan which kept blowing hot air. The toilet had limescale and the flush did not work fully. I was not happy but the staff are very friendly and overall it is in a good location and the price can be reasonable. Maybe just my luck on that ocassion that it didnt work out.

Good location,near station and buses. We had room 201 ,which was extra .large as its a family room . I x king-size bed and a large single bed. New carpeting.Very comfortable supplied with 2 fans to help cool down. We had use of the large fridge in the downstairs kitchen and utensils, ,which has a microwave oven,if required. I do think that given the size of the room,and being on 2nd floor ,a small fridge in the room,would have been nice.The adjoining Indian restaurant was lovely, as we're the staff. We had takeaway, which was plentiful and delicious. Handy little shop next to restaurant which has basic goods. (Waiting on alcohol licence) but there is a londis garage shop across the road . Room TV has netflix and prime ,but couldn't get all regular channels.

The stairs were a bit precarious, as they were quite a small tread,but the carpet made it appear bigger. You could see where it had split on the edges,which could cause someone to fall.the shower could do with a support rail,as there is no shower mat,and can get a bit slippery. There was nowhere to get fresh cold.water to refill bottles. No kitchen sink to wash up,unless you used the disable toilet sink.

Good staff and a great value hotel as I was working in the area and will return .. Free parking is a bonus

Used condoms in the car park, rubbish everywhere, steep spiral staircase, mouldy windows and filthy carpets. Left within 5 mins of checking in and have so far not been refunded despite it being a complete health hazzard

Price

I couldn't check in as nobody was there to check me in. Nobody answered the phone when I tried to call them, nobody responded to Booking messages or emails. I cancelled the booking and I'm still waiting for a refund or even a response from the property. Unbelievably bad customer service!!

Penalty parking

The room was clean and spacey, pleasant bathroom with hot-water shower, We appreciated the kettle, tea and coffee for ready for us to make a nice cuppa. The location is not far from the city centre and harbour. Free parking in the secured yard of the hotel. A very nice and helpful staff.

The only negative matter is the unpleasant connection of the parking lot to the hotel via a bit rusty and dirty, narrow spiral metal staircase.

It was very dirty, the TV kept losing wi fi signal, the slamming of the fire door next to our room 204 was annoying, the carpets were filthy.its very poor and run down

Rooms not the cleanest dirty marks over the walls and doors skirting boards were dirty hairs in the sink and sink hole was disgusting no hot water it got reset only to go off again. But the bed was clean

The Staff were really helpful and friendly, the WiFi is super fast, and its location to transport is spot on..

The location is right on a main road, it was to hot to not have the windows open as no air con, but at 1 point every 5 minutes in the evening an emergency vehicle was going past and the sirens are so loud, then you have loud motorbikes and cars with mufflers on, way to loud to sleep with the window open, way yo hot to have the windows closed, so impossible to sleep. Might be better if your on the outside, but road facing, nightmare in the summer... Would be great in the winter though

Its was easy to find, comfortable room, easy check in. The gentleman on reception was extremely helpful

The only downside and I wouldnt stress about it was the car park, being accessed via an old school metal spiral staircase. But really isnt a deal breaker

Everything was great value for money. The spaciousness of the room was fantastic. The downstairs seating area by the reception and on an outside balcony meant we could warm up food in the evening and enjoy it. Allowed us to have warm food on our budget. It was a great location and we did a full day out at Margate due to ease of location right by the train station. The sunset was beautiful over the river... We will be back.

working away from home , clean, comfortable and good value for money. i use this hotel on a regular basis and find the staff both helpful and friendly. The Indian restaurant next door is first rate and would highly recommend. 4 minuets walk from hight street were you can get most things and plenty of other eating houses.
