Oakhurst Gatwick and holiday parking five pounds per day and transport between six am and eleven pm

The breakfast was good. Home prepared. We had the mini breakfast. The environment is very homely. Location is perfect. Surrounding very subtle and quiet. The host John needs specific mention is very active and homely. He gave us a family feeling. Very secure. Had a beautiful restaurant just nearby. We liked the stay.

The place being a bit isolated has challenges in getting a cab although bus services are available. I booked an Uber and a Bolt ride but none of them came through. The house itself is old design and doesn't have lifts. The staircase is quite steep so if one has big luggage then will have a problem taking it up through the very narrow staircase to the upper floor. Rooms and washroom needs upgrades in terms of space and facilities.

Very warm welcome by helpful staff. Extremely efficient shuttle service both to and from the airport, and secure parking throughout. Comfortable bed. Nice little breakfast room.

Despite the large fan in my room, it was quite hot due to the summer heatwave and the fan was too noisy to keep on all night. Honestly, only air-conditioning would have overcome this. All in all, not a complaint but an honest comment on my night's sleep. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again if using Gatwick.

Prompt pick up. Bedroom downstairs. Very comfy bed.

The table with glass top outside my bedroom door - room 9. I bashed my leg into it several times because you could see the wood but not the glass over it. Have a huge bruise on it now.

Very friendly owner who was super helpful and accommodating. Delicious breakfast and nice serene outdoors area for us to relax in the morning. Much nicer than staying in a Premier Inn, quick private shuttle to the airport.

very friendly & accommodating owners. efficient check-in process and airport shuttle service. fantastic restaurant/bar within walking distance. Inn is clean & quiet; has lots of charging ports/outlets in room.

Very friendly staff with comfortable accommodation which was very clean and in ideal location.

I appreciate the services of Admin lady and kitchen lady. Offered us different options of breakfast and served us the fresh breakfast. Room was clean, peaceful and comfortable. Location is great - very close to Gatwick airport. Hotel also provides the ride to AirPort with reasonable cost.

I think that everything was great.

Really Clean room and friendly staff

Great host, friendly welcome, lovely room and great location

Friendly clean helpful accessible responsive close to gatwick

Great host very helpful

It is very close the airport and there is a pickup and drop off service which makes life easier. The room was very clean as well as most of the property. Owners are great.

Our room had very heavy detergent smell especially bed sheets and pillows. It could be hard to sleep if you don't like or have allergies for detergent smells. Wifi also did not work in our room.

Shuttle between aitport terminal and the lodge was efficient, reliable and on time. Availability of staff at late (past 10:00pm and at 6an). Communication through Booking and through direct phone is available.

Communication could be improved for the location of the lodge, whose name is each time different on Waze: "Oakhurst Traditional British B&B with holiday parking", different on Apple Maps: "Oakhurst Bed & Breakfast Guest House", different on Google Maps: "Oakhurst Traditional British B&B with holiday parking". Communication could be improved for pick-up at Gatwick Terminal by designating in advance the level where pick-up is taking place.

very quick pickup from airport, host and employees were all friendly and helpful.

Amazing price, staff are so friendly and the room is excellent for value. It’s clean spacious and a serious bargain. I’ve stayed at hotels all around Gatwick and this is by far the best one I’ve stayed at

Felt welcome from the moment they opened the door. Clean and comfortable property.

Friendly staff and host, bed very comfortable and in a great location for Gatwick airport.

The room was very tidy and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. Great value for money, and a lovely one-night stay near Gatwick!

It was late at night but the instructions on accessing property and room was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great and fresh. Nice people that work there. Shuttle to the airport very convenient.

Nothing

No breakfast included in the price, airport shuttle is to be paid.

The price didn't meet my expectation.

The location was good, just what we needed for an early start to Gatwick. Easy to locate, information was spot on and a friendly welcome.

The hosts were very helpful and pleasant . It’s a perfect location for the airport and a great park and pick up service . The rooms are very clean and comfortable .

There was nothing I didn’t like

Disney olması çocuğum için iyiydi Kahvaltı doyurucu Havalimanına yakın Personel Nick çok iyiydi, teşekkürler

Hiçbirşey

Great service and clean comfort

Easy to enter. Owner brought us a cup of tea and coffee on arrival. Very friendly. Easy to book, enter and leave.

Beliggenhed tæt på lufthavnen. Tæt på offentlig tranport. Fin morgenmad.

Amazing staff / host and location

Polite staff and clean room.

Very loud in the morning, starting from 5am.

The room was very clean, bright and roomy

Nothing to dislike

Very clean and comfortable and welcoming

Nothing

Staff so friendly and helpful

The room was very spacious, very quiet with the fact that it was very close to the airport

Nothing all good

Really friendly and helpful. The rooms were really nice. Lovely decor and good quality.

Nothing

Very clean and comfortable beds. Very clean rooms and shower room. Really great airport transfer and great car stay rates.

Location is great, just a few minutes from the airport but away from all the noise so nice and quiet. Easy to find and great free parking. Great Indian restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel, I would advise booking as it was very busy.

Not many shops nearby so can't really walk easily.

Was greeted by a very lovely man who showed us to our room. We were just spending one night to be closer to the airport for an early flight, so it was perfect location and the area was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Despite the area being quiet it was a little noisy and the plumbing/hot water was quite audible at time. This could ofc be a temporary issue or due to the location of our specific room. I will also admit that I am a light sleeper, but my partner who is not, did also hear it.

Host and location

It was all good

the owner, John, was everywhere, even driving guests in his b&b minibus. His cost was 15GBP for our whole group of 3, significantly a better deal than the airport taxi mafia! Breakfast was terrific. Rooms were spotless, quiet and s p across.

Great location and great staff

Good value Comfortdable bed Transport to airport and parking Wonderful breakfast A great fing

Narrow stair case

Breakfast. Cooked to order and plenty on offer

Stairs were a bit precarious, but the house is an old one.

It was convenient for airport. Able to park car for duration of trip. Owners were very helpful. Price with parking was good

Unfortunately we had a downstairs room and there was a light shining into the room from outside. Maybe it could be switched off late at night.

Facilities were clean, staff was lovely and breakfast was tasty.

Very quiet and room comfortable and clean.

Nothing.

easy access & clean room

Great location for a short stay prior to flying out.

Very convenient stay

We liked everything

A very convenient bed and breakfast located in the immediate vicinity of Gatwick Airport, making it ideal for early morning departures. The room is a bit small for three people, but the beds are comfortable and more than adequate for a short stay. The bathroom is also compact, yet features a spacious shower, and everything is clean and well maintained. We did not have the chance to try the breakfast due to our early departure, but the owner — extremely kind and helpful — recommended an excellent place for dinner, which we really appreciated. A great practical choice for a short stay before a flight.

Great stay with quick airport transfer

I arrived to a brilliant, friendly welcome. My name was remembered and I was expected. Tea was offered and set out in the lounge. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. A fabulous place run by friendly people (almost felt like family!).

Nothing. Everything was great for me. Even the other guest I met was friendly - I'm sure picking up from the friendly atmosphere.

very good host and lovely room

bit noisy in the morning as my room was next to the front door

Perfect location for an early flight from Gatwick.

There was a constant noise that sounded like a washing machine spinning or a macerator that continued until late into the night disturbing our ability to sleep.

An excellent place to stay if you are heading out or or into Gatwick Airport. Extremely friendly greeting. A food place close by that does excellent food and massive portion sizes.

Needs renovation, many little things that need to be fixed or are worn.

Easy and convenient shuttle pick up/ drop off for Gatwick airport

Needs a bit of TLC

The beds are so comfortable Quite Lovely hosts The breakfast was excellent 6 mins from airport

Nothing we didn't like

we arrived late but instructions on how to get in was spot on room lovely and clean breakfast very good will use again when down that way many thanks vic

Ottima posizione per chi fa scalo a Gatwick. Possibilità di cenare lì. Pulita essenziale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Comfortable large room. Very clean. Hosts very welcoming.

I was there for less then 24 hrs... It's a great place for a short stay and staff is super helpful.

No complaints.

Really friendly and welcoming staff. Beds were really comfortable and rooms very clean. Very fluffy clean towels. Great location too.

Friendliness of staff. Always anxious to please. Excellent value for money & ultra competitively priced airport shuttle service. Excellent breakfast & a very good recommendation for an evening meal.

Nothing really.

Friendly people, clean, close to the airport, peaceful and easy access to the property.

I love the room but would be better for me at that moment to have the same room on a ground floor but only because I was traveling with an elderly and multiple luggages.

Hospitable staff (Nick is quite helpful, nothing is too much for him). We stayed at room No.1, which is a brand new room with handy amenities. High cleanliness, great shower ,cozy beds and blankets, beautiful yards. A lovely stay there, would highly recommend.

can't think of anything.

Accoglienza e disponibilità

Arrivare all Hotel con i mezzi pubblici è sconsigliato...meglio chiamare e farsi venire a prendere. Host molto disponibili
