Residence Inn by Marriott Near Universal Orlando

Buen desayuno

No hablan español.

Mto bom o hotel

Café da manhã eh bem simples

Breakfast was very weak and ends too early at 9:30

Breakfast and free parking, trams to parks

Not enough trams to the patks

Clean, great breakfastn large rooms, awesome staff

Everything was great

The Welcome Desk team were amazing. No matter which shift I encountered, everyone was consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive. They were by far the best part of my stay at the hotel.

The worst part of the stay was definitely the housekeeping. Cleaning did not always take place on the agreed days, and on one occasion, several wet, used towels were left on top of my luggage and forgotten there. I can only hope they were my towels. On another day, I found what appeared to be green phlegm in the sink, which was particularly unpleasant. And, as a final touch, we even had a large cockroach make an appearance in the room. Breakfast was also very inconsistent. The selection is very basic and standard, but the bigger issue is that availability seems to be a lottery. Some days everything was available, while on others basic items such as juice or muffins had already run out. I did try to escalate these issues during my stay, but unfortunately, I only received a message from the General Manager about a week later asking whether the problems had been resolved. By that point, I had already checked out. I explained that I had left the hotel, but that I would definitely be documenting my experience. Overall, there were some positive aspects to the stay, but the housekeeping and inconsistent breakfast service significantly affected my experience.

The location is very close to Universal and the hotel does offer a free shuttle and there is a Universal ticket counter inside the hotel.

Some of the staff were rude and unconcerned. The cleaning crew did not refresh the room any of the days we were there. We had to come down to the front desk each day and ask for new towels.

Tamanho do quarto.

Serviços de limpeza e arrumação do quarto

Location to the park, clean, decent price, and it had a shuttle to city walk.

Staff was unhelpful, breakfast was mediocre, and the shuttle hours were minimal.

The room was excellent! Nice size and the kitchenette is was a plus

The system they have for scheduling a shuttle to universal is not good. They tell you you need to schedule between 7 am and 11 am the day before or the same day. The first day several guest and I were wating to schedule and the person in charge nevwr showed up. The next day we tried the same qnd the rides for 7:20 and 8 something were already full. Had to take uber to the park. Be aware of this!

Muy completa la habitacion

Parcheggio gratuito

I liked that the hotel was very close to universal studios. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was ok. We loved the pool.

I didn't like that housekeeping wasn't daily. The sofa in our room was well over due to be discarded and replaced. It had definitely done it's time. Our wallpaper was peeling in a corner of the room. The carpets could do with a professional steam clean also.

De tudo, conforto, instalações e atendimento

Preis

Location, Parking Lot, Beds and Room Size

Breakfast Room services

You can’t really beat the value or location. Very close to Universal and Sea World; not too far from Disney either. Free breakfast has quite a few options; it was not the best food, but a lot of options including three hot dishes that seemed to follow a pattern of eggs, meat, and carb. Beds were comfortable, hotel was very clean, and rooms were spacious.

When we checked in the gentleman at the desk wasn’t very courteous; he was respectful, but the transaction felt rushed and not welcoming. Everyone else was very helpful. There were a number of little things that were lacking attention to detail, and we struggled with the tv the last night…sound and/or picture would go out every five minutes.

Location

Sofa bed is uncomfortable, towels were bad

The location from Universal and the outlet mall.

Their willingness and urgency to help when there is a problem.

Location and clean

Nothing to dislike

Breakfast. Good selection and lots of choice. Coffee on tap all day. Location great.

Slightly tired and would benefit from an update.

Couldn’t tell you

My room was given away even though I paid for it beforehand and was at the hotel at 9:50am the day my room was supposed to open. I went to check in around 10:40 pm and was told I was being moved to a Fairfield hotel that was a 15 minute drive away.

Everything was amazing 👏 🙌

Not a single thing

The distance to the parks

They xtra charge $20 per day , still not sure for what. Also there was no internet the my entire stay, never got fixed.

Excellent hotel, booked last minute as alternative accommodation to leave a bad hotel experience on I drive. This hotel made our holiday, the comfortable, spacious, clean accommodation was fully equipped with everything we possibly needed. We stayed for 7 nights and had the most wonderful time, the pool area, the laundry room, mini putting green, the corridors the elevators everything was always super clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and always available tea and coffee was nice. Security on access to pool and side door of hotel made it feel very safe. Reception staff always greeted us on arrival and leaving, very friendly. Staff dropped fresh towels to room when cleaning hadn't been completed and anything requested was delivered too room within 5 minutes very efficient. Lake view room kept our kids entertained looking for alligators ! Every night was quite and peaceful we had great rest in this most wonderful hotel, zero comparison to the hotel we endured 3 horrible nights at before changing to here !

As we booked on our arrival day we had one queen room with a sofa bed as our only option. The sofa bed for our kids to sleep on, It was a little uncomfortable as the mattress was thin, but the staff did provide a topper to soften it.

Fiyat fayda dengesi açısından bize hitap etti. Ücretsiz otoparkı olması olumlu. Personel ilgiliydi.

Kahvaltıda daha fazla çeşit olmalı. Odaya giriş saati biraz daha erken olabilir.

The space of the room

The mattress it was to hard

Staff at front desk was helpful and attentive to needs. On-site staff to assist with Universal Resort needs. Location was great. Close to Universal and other stores, shoppes and restaurants. Breakfast was standard if you have had other hotel food. Free parking. Easy to book ride-share, if needed, to get around locally. Quiet. Plenty of on-site laundry machines.

Pool hours not ideal. Closed too early. Gym had an odour.

It needs a better pool

Everything. Location, cleanliness and staff was nice

All the staff were helpful and friendly !

Apartamento estruturado

Limpeza

La limpieza y ubicación

El desayino debr ser más variado

Excelente personal. Ubicacion e instalaciones seguro volvere

Location and access to universal and other places in Orlando

The service- particularly the male front office staff that we interacted with were rude specifically Mr. Mike and another male front desk manager. However, the female staff that we engaged with were nice and courteous. Rooms were not cleaned, didn’t have body lotion, no soap. Sofa/ couch was broken and not in a usable condition. Breakfast was terrible from both food choice and quality of food. We all got sick from the breakfast.

Very good all 👍🏽

Very good staff members

Breakfast is very good and love the have coffee all the time . Beds are comfortable. Very spacious room and good check out time .

Air conditioning was so loud would not let me sleep.

Excelente
