Very small room, shower fixtures we inconveniently positioned in the showers. Hardwood floors with no area rug lessened the cozy feeling of the room.

The room I booked wasn’t available and they had no interest in resolving the request in spite of the fact that myself and the rest of our organization have been going there for years.

The hotel is new, the restaurant food is good, the room is spacious. Location feels a little remote but it has a shopping area nearby. No problem if you have a car.

I stayed at the Marriott Markham Toronto and was really impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and clean, and the staff were friendly and professional from check-in to check-out. The amenities and overall atmosphere made for a very comfortable stay. The only downside was that one night the guests across the hall were quite loud and up late, which made it hard to sleep. Other than that, everything was great. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Gorgeous hotel in an excellent location in Markham. Impeccable cleanliness in room and common areas. Delicious room service food. We were notified of our room being available slightly earlier than posted check-in time which was so convenient. Most of all, the customer service was outstanding- we were accommodated for a room change request upon arrival. Next door to a mall. Close to GO train. Highly recommend.

Lots of things to do around the place (movies, food, pubs). Loved getting complimentary free parking.

The hotel was very clean and the food was quite good. Location is pretty central but having a car is advised. Many restaurants are near by in walking distance. Lots of Chinese shopping centers are a few kilometers away.

I ordered uber eats and my food was left at the lobby after being told by hotel staff, but nobody called/inform me about the food being held by the staff at the lobby.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years, and I’m pleased to say their high standards have been consistently maintained. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. My room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also appreciated and adds to the convenience of the stay. One small improvement I would suggest is with parking: ideally, it should be included in the overall price or offered as a one-time fee rather than charged nightly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

Property was new, clean and spacious. Shower had good pressure and bed and pillows were comfortable. No complaints about the hotel. Only downside was the surrounding area is a bit bare. Not too much selection unless you drive. Looks to be a developing area so perhaps more options and entertainment in the future!

We booked the Marriott at the very last minute. Every single person who worked there from the moment of checkin to the hotel staff and even the employees we saw in the halls were so friendly, professional and accommodating. I’ve never experienced such valuable customer service. The M lounge always asked if we needed anything. The rooms area is so spacious and clean. Other restaurants are within walking distance. Do yourself a favour and choose Marriott Markham Toronto. Cyra at the front desk made sure to check in on us.Thanks for being such wonderful hosts. We can’t wait to come back.

The staff were very friendly and offered assistan to take our photos in feont of a cool display. The pool was great for our family. The one downside was the high cost of breakfast at the restaurant. Minimal

Great location. Walking distance to nice restaurants. Amazing Hotel staffs!! Especially Stefan! He is very professional, warm, kind and friendly! We had encountered a little hiccups during our stay, Christin was able to help promptly. Stefan went out his way to check on me and my elderly parents and helping us immediately. We will definitely recommend staying this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at the Markham Marriott. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff in all capacities were friendly, nice and helpful. Loved that the Ruth Chris is right there and the Draco restaurant as well. I am so glad we got breakfast included (Draco). The meals were great. I would certainly stay here again as the service level was to my expectation.

The hotel interior is modern, the location is convenient, and our room was clean. Front desk staff were polite.

This is not the Marriott experience travelers expect. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties around the world, and nowhere have I encountered a pool shared with residents from another building—with no clear warning at booking. The pool was unusable both days we stayed. Kids were diving, eating, yelling, and on one occasion a mother was pushing her son so hard during swimming lessons that his lips were bleeding. We reported the incident respectfully, but nothing was done. It felt more like a community center than a hotel amenity.

For evereyting extra charge if every one didn’t say nothing I think so they charge elevators to, even they charge 20 cad for parking. No any service no breakfast included. Terrible experience.

Excellent location for our visit. Odd entrance and the spas jet did not work, no towels. We love the staff interactions and they are polite and attentive. The room was clean and well kept. Comfortable bed and shower was good. We stayed 8 nights and ran out of shower gel bottle on the last day. I would love to see the towels cleaner and not as well used. They are old towels.

The hotel is close to good restaurants. Staff was friendly and the hotel is clean . Just wished restaurant inside stay opened longer

My son and I stayed here for Black Belt World Championships. Every single person who worked there from the front end of the hotel to the restaurant to any employee we saw in the halls were so friendly, professional and accommodating. I’ve never experienced such valuable customer service. They even remembered our names. Always asked if we needed anything. Our server took such great care of us at Draco restaurant we always felt welcome. Our nerves were up for being in a tournament but honestly we felt right at home at the hotel as soon as we set foot through the doors. The surrounding area is so spacious and clean so many restaurants to choose from. All you’ll need is within walking distance. Do yourself a favour and choose Marriott Markham Toronto. I have a feeling if we were to go back months from now the staff would still remember us. We’ll never forget our time there. And the spicy margaritas were absolutely delicious at Draco. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts. We can’t wait to come back.

Great new hotel

We spent two nights here to celebrate my husband's birthday. The hotel still feels quite new, and the lobby had a pleasant, clean scent. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite—the room was huge and very clean. As a thoughtful gesture, they also brought us a piece of cake for my husband, which we really appreciated. I’m not sure if this is something they do for all birthday guests or just for members, but it was a nice touch. The staff were generally friendly, and while the location isn’t the most convenient, it was still good enough for our needs. The only downside was the parking—it’s not connected to the hotel, which can be a bit frustrating, especially when it’s raining. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’ll probably come back again.
