It’s clean and spacious and the employees go out of their way to be gracious and help you.

No rubber bath mat. The shower was slick. Not good. The desk clerk said they don’t provide them because people would think they are for handicap. Dumb reason.
Really neat ambiance in our room, we had a lovely view and beautiful windows! Very nice room!
The faucet needed to be replaced, it was tarnished and the trim in bathroom was not finished, shower was damaged but we love the Hampton Inn!
Liked the room. Quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Felt like being at a boutique hotel.
Can’t think of anything
niadania amerykańskie są dla nas Polaków niejadalne Ale tak już po prostu jest i nie ma co marudzić. Całą reszta doskonała
A unique and very comfortable place to stay in Petaluma, especially when traveling south toward San Francisco. The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated historic building with a cool loft-style design. The rooms are a little unusual and different from a typical hotel room, but very comfortable and thoughtfully designed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!
Struttura particolare come stile, molto accogliente
Buffet della colazione poco variato
It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. I would definitely recommend. Shout-out to the kind staff, especially Thaliah who went out of our way to ensure we were able to check-in early and have a comfortable stay!
Relatively new hotel in a converted silk factory, Interesting architecture and associated history. Hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable for the most part. Good breakfast included in the price of the room.
I found the beds to be way too soft - hurt my back to sleep on them.
Loved this property. Most unique as the renovated old mill. Clean and comfortable. Desk clerk was great, friendly and helpful.
We have stayed there multiple times before, we have gotten a larger room with a small sitting area. They would not give us the larger room , we were there for 3 nights in a small, tight room. We will not be back.
Small room Air conditioning cold hard to regulate
Great hotel for my dog and for us humans! Everyone very friendly. Hotel building so well designed to highlight its past as a beautifully built brick factory. Love the design touches with local connection like the roller blinds with old map of Petaluma, and photos of the town on the room walls. Small garden is well maintained, a key feature for guests traveling with dog. I also appreciate the eco touches like large dispensors of soap and shampoo instead of small plastic bottles. Great value for quality of lodging.
I like everything about this property, and I will definitely book there again when visiting Petaluma.
I was excited to recommend this hotel to my nephew and his girlfriend during their road trip through Petaluma, and I'm so glad I did. They absolutely loved their stay! They told me that the hotel was charming, their room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It was a great place for them to relax after a day of traveling.
Property was nice, beautiful design and decoration, high ceiling and quite. Complimentary breakfast was great and staff were friendly.
Mattress and pillows were too soft
An old silk mill turned hotel is an amazing case study for adapted reuse of older buildings. Much of the charm has been retained with the most evident being the exposed red brick walls. I checked in online and was pleased to find a hard key in my room waiting for me, a first after many many Hilton stays. The room was clean and well appointed and featured custom sheer roll down curtains with a historic map of Petaluma printed on them. The gym was a standard Hampton gym but it does extend into one of the towers where you will find a peloton. Breakfast was standard but the space was clean and well kept. I also enjoyed the book nook in the first floor elevator lobby. My only critique is of the light fixtures in the second floor hallway. They are not the vibe of the property and barn lamps or RLMs would have been a better choice.
We requested a quiet room as we had travelled from New Zealand. We got exactly what we had asked for, and I was very, very happy. We slept extremely well, in a large, comfortable bed. All of the staff were fantastic. We had dealings with housekeeping, the maintenance man, the lady who runs the kitchen, and of course the front-line reception. All were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel has retained the charm of its 120-year-old history. It's lovely. A short walk to the town of Petaluma and the historic housing area was a bonus for us. The area is definitely worth a visit. Great shopping, restaurants, and people. We will return when next flying into SFO.. Why stay in the city? This location is safe, clean and charming! We also drove out to Dillon's Beach. Lovely countryside!
That we only stayed 2 nights, another 2 nights would have been great.
Location is good - easy to reach by car and good parking. Downtown Petaluma is walking distance and has a good selection of restaurants. I recommend the Shuckery! Also, a great cocktail bar is just a few minutes away - Mario and John's.
I was surprised to find the breakfast buffet is served with disposable plates, cutlery and cups which is all thrown away into one bin, including food scraps. Not a great eating experience - even a comparable hotel like the Premier Inn in the UK provides guests with real dishware. Can't understand this decision and didn't love it. Also - to assure European guests, the hotel is a 10-15 min walk or short Uber ride from some nice restaurants and bars. I was surprised to find this after the front desk recommended I get Door Dash if wanted some dinner.
The renovated and repurposed industrial building, cleanliness, location with ample parking.
Nothing!
It was very clean and conveniently located; I was just a short walk from the speedway and downtown.
모든 것이 만족스러웠음
Kristine is awesome! So friendly knowledgeable and eager to get my day off to a great start! Love the room. It’s an old silk mill from the 1800s so it’s got all the character in the world.
Really enjoyed this stay in Petaluma. Very unique Hampton Inn that was at one time a silk factory. Our room was large and on the second story which was really a dual room suite with very high ceiling in the back room with original brick exposure. Very cool and unique!! knowledgeable staff and nice included breakfast. Well located near downtown Petaluma.
Sehr sauber
Alles okay
Great for both.
Nothing, it was all good
it’s like art

Consistency is key at Hampton Inn! They are masterful at making my stay the best it can be. Also, the vintage buildings make it hard to beat!
Sometimes the floor felt moist, almost wet. I don’t like the musky smell.
Friendly staff, clean

Staff very nice. Location perfect
No counter space in bathroom
Cleanliness, amenities, aesthetics, style
I liked everything
El hotel es muy bonito y nuevo, la zona también es muy tranquila
Breakfast was well-stocked with lots of variety. Historic building was interesting and unique— loved that! Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Room was really pleasant and had cool decor. Takeaway breakfast bags were much appreciated!
Need to more clearly identify lobby location from the street. Two dispensers in shower were completely empty upon our arrival. Bathrooms need more towel bars or hooks to hang towels on and maybe a pullout drawer for toiletry bags.
This hotel was well maintained, quiet and comfortable. Rooms were clean with excellent beds and pillows. The free breakfast was simple but tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. This was a perfect gathering spot for a local family wedding. Thank you
Location was great didn't go down for breakfast
Bed was not the most comfortable and the bed frame was squeaky only issue
Unique, historic, yet updated with modern amenities.
Well done restoration of old industrial site.
Very close to a big road.
Love how clean and esthetic the hallways are. Bathrooms are also very clean. The staff that checked us in was wonderful.
nothing
This has to be the nicest Hampton Inn in the country. Feels more like a boutique hotel. The hotel is a transformation of an 1890 silk factory. I had a room with a separate living area with 10-foot-tall exposed brick walls, tall windows with abundant natural light, comfortable bed with very nice down or down-like pillows. (I won't have to travel with my own pillow when I book here again). Bright clean modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Closet has a generous number of regular and clippy coat hangers - no doubling up needed. The dining room is really nicely decorated and was a relaxing place to eat and hang out. Also, there is a courtyard in the back under a huge palm tree where you can get some fresh air.
I wish there had been a microwave in the room. There is a communal one in the dining area which we used one night, but it was pretty far from our room. And more whole-grain bread and fruit choices with breakfast would be nice. But a free breakfast and all-day coffee station were much appreciated!
It was welcoming and clean
The historical building’s background
It was interesting to find out that the hotel had an interesting past as a silk mill. It was great to see how they integrated the design of the hotel with its historic past. Front desk staff were very courteous, energetic and helpful. The room was spacious, modern looking, and respectful of its heritage. Breakfast staff were very accommodating and helpful.
There was a small cold draft coming from the windows. The hotel corridors were super long but it probably was dictated by the old silk mill layout.
The Tapestry Petaluma downtown was full so we opted for this Hampton Inn which we thought would be just a normal Hampton, but to our wonderful surprise it was a remodeled Silk Mill - a truly wonderful building and stay! The window shades are fitted with shades that depict the old silk mill - check it out
It was a unique renovated building. It was clean and all the facilities were well kept.
I don’t have an answer. Enjoyed it all.
Great location. Excellent complimentary breakfast.
Great room
Furniture wasn’t comfortable to use and the bed very firm
Everything we especially like the breakfast and the room was very clean and comfortable!!
Clean and historic
Motel buffet style breakfast Noise from the road Isolated from downtown
Unique in that it was a converted from a factory. The place was big, clean and modern. I enjoyed the fitness center and the breakfast area was great! The staff was friendly and helpful!!
Nothing
Clean, good location, quiet, good Breakfast
Our room was by ice machine. Other than that it was swell
Wish I could give 0 stars! Where do I begin? The Hotel itself is cute but this not a place to stay if you are a business traveler. The hotel gym is not accessible to use before 6 am and if you are trying to get a work out in before work you might as well get a gym membership or stay elsewhere. The breakfast is subpar. Forget it if your lactose intolerant because there is cheese in every egg dish. The juice machines were broken. The King suit is small and cramped if two of you are trying to work. The worst part and the reason I am never going to stay here or recommend this place is the way the staff treated me. I extended my stay for one extra day 24 hours before my stay and was confirmed ( and paid) to stay in the same room and on said day the office staff called my phone 7 times while I was seeing patients, and left a message that I need to get my stuff out the room. They said that my room was not confirmed and they would need to move me to a smaller room. I told them this was there mistake and I was seeing patients till 7 pm and could not come back to the room. The office staff continued to argue with me and said she need to ask the other customer if they would " downgrade" because I wouldn't move my stuff. EXCUSE ME, you mean I am responsible for their mistake? In the end I stayed in the room for the night but not before the office staff continued to keep me on the phone for 10 minutes to argue.
Loved the breakfast each time. Would love to see bacon instead of or in addition to the breakfast meat choices. The eggs with cheese are delicious.
Sausage cooked a bit more.
Simply elegant conversion of industrial building to quietly chic hotel ! Love the understated look and very clean, fully up to date site. Short drive to town but nice to be just outside the Main Street hustle. Quiet and safe, well arranged to walk my dog at night and front desk staffed 24 hours. Temperature control via efficient thermostat on room wall , very effective. Wireless phone charger on night stand !!! Excellent tv and well appointed bathroom. Good breakfast ( basic hotel but seemed better quality) in lovely big room or take back to yours.
Nothing ! Loved it !
bella struttura e ottima posizione. Staff inesperto ma gentile. Colazione sufficentr
Cool spot - high ceilings and brick walls. Location was a 15 minute walk from downtown Petaluma which was easy enough though a little dark and not sure I would have felt comfortable returning alone later at night. Checked in on the app and used the phone key which was super easy. Staff was friendly though I interacted with them only once. Very clean hotel. Price was awesome.
Walls were thin - we heard the neighbors to our side quite a bit. Dark walk home from downtown was slightly sketchy. Showerheads/water pressure could use and upgrade. All in all it was $150 for the night which is a STEAL.
nice renovated building, clean
small rooms, tub faucets difficult to figure out, breakfast was drab, homeless came in while at breakfast and were helping themselves to food. A piece of my luggage was stolen in the parking lot as I was loading my car. Staff was little help in looking at camera or remedying the situation in any way! Took an extra $50.00 deposit/fee in case of what I’m not sure, that I don’t get back for 10 days!
The blinds and size of the room, nice finishes , the mattress was very comfortable. The location was easy to be able to walk downtown
I thought there should be a small microwave . The shower floor was TERRIFYING when it got wet - dangerously slippery , should be more bath mats available in the room, I did not see the mat rolled up on the back of the toilet until I had turned on the water and stepped in the shower and almost fell, almost banged elbow, almost banged my head. then turned off water to get out and look for mat, one was not enough , That tile should be removed and replaced !!
Interesting decor
We were next to the elevator and it was very loud. Also the barn door bathroom door makes it so you have no privacy. Very cold
breakfast had nothing I could eat other than the premade omelettes (trying to avoid carbs) and an apple. Basically the usual cereals and oatmeal and waffle.
The staff was so nice! They would even text me to ask if there was anything we needed. The bed was cozy. Close to downtown so we were able to walk. Breakfast was great and everything was super clean I will come back.
The room was a little stuffy. But I think it was just humid in the town we were in.
It is a very cool old building that has been turned into a hotel. It is close to the hwy 101 and have plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze, we were allowed to have our dog. It is definitely where I would stay in the future if I were to pass through again.
I had an outside room, so the road noise was a little much. The bed was too hard!
As someone who has stayed in a *lot* of Hampton Inns, my first reaction upon pulling into the parking lot was — THIS is a Hampton Inn? Long story short, this is not the typical cookie-cutter gray and white box that Hamptons are known for. This property is a beautifully converted silk factory from 1892. The rooms, while smaller than a typical Hampton, are clean, modern, and delightful. Mine has an exposed brick exterior wall and a soaring ceiling — maybe 12 feet high. Big windows allow light to pour in, but the shades block it out completely, if needed. The bath is nicely done with a walk-in shower and good pressure. Strolling the grounds is a delight. An old fireplace or furnace from the factory days is out back. You can see the old water tower structure above. I love what they've done here.
A beautiful historic site that has been remodeled in a lovely way. Close to downtown (walking distance) and the railroad station. Staff was friendly and helpful; hotel is overall very quiet and comfortable.
This is a beautiful Hotel with a lovely staff and yummy breakfast that is included. I love all the brick walls and the games/books the hotel lends out.
breakfast was great. staff was friendly & helpful
the room was extremely cold upon arrival. it took awhile for it to be a comfortable temperature
The location was great, and close to everything. Also in a historic building, which was an added bonus.
The walls were kind of thin, and there weren’t enough hooks/counter-space.
Close to evrything
-Historical: Love the history of the building and that Hampton kept so many original details. I used to drive by this hotel for yrs when it was still ruins and wondered what was like inside. It was so exciting to be able to stay in it. -Staff: Front desk and the breakfast staff were awesome. -Dining Room and Breakfast: the dining room was beautiful, spacious and so comfortable and because our whole stay rained a lot, it was amazing to be able to use the dining room to visit with family and play games with our visiting kids to celebrate the holidays early with them on our way to SoCal. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a budget friendly hotel with real food (yummy omelets, potatoes, fresh mini waffles, fruits, cereals etc). -Bedroom: the decor is beautiful and thoughtful. We had everything we needed in the room and the bathroom was very nice and wonderful strong shower. -Dog Friendly: We travel with our dog dozens of times a yr and appreciate a hotel that accepts dogs. -Location: I was able to walk around the neighborhood and to downtown with my dog and it was so fun! We were also close to stores and great food.
-Bedroom: a bit small and stuffy and felt humid with all the rain outside, maybe because it is a thick brick building. Our towels never got dry so we had to turn on the heat which made us feel like we were in a steam room. Our first room had 2 windows but it was so far from an entrance/exit door that we changed to room 133 which only had 1 window that unfortunately could never be open because it was right by the front door and had no privacy. Next time I hope to be able to stay on the 2nd floor to be able to open the windows for fresh air and still have privacy. Hall-gorgeous with all the original pillars but if you are at the end of the hall your walk is quite long (Severance long 😂) to get in and out because none of the exit doors can be used as a shortcut to the outside. You can only go in and out via the front door l, which only has parking spaces for diamond members and a side door by Lakeview Hwy entrance. That’s why we had to change rooms. -Dog Fee: I appreciate being able to have my dog but found $150 a bit excessive.
A new hotel built inside the shell of an old historic building.
The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and spacious but very, very cold.
The staff was very helpful. The facility was exceptionally clean.
The building is a historic landmark nicely retrofitted. The breakfast is decent. Most importantly, I left my clothes in the room. The staff called me. So I was able to go back and pick up my stuff later that day.
