Vondelpark House Bed&Breakfast

Lovely spacious and light room with its own bathroom and shared kitchen. Fabulous location, wonderfully quiet and safe, comfy bed with lovely bedlinen, desk/dining table, lovely french windows opening onto a balcony. Highly responsive and helpful staff.

Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience.

Great place to stay in Amsterdam. Short walk to Trolley Station. The only negative feature is the Very steep stairs to reach your room on the second floor. It's pretty hard to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Otherwise very nice room, and Petra is a very nice Host.

Great stay.

Very comfortable, shared kitchen area with another room. Private bath. Steep stairs up to the 2 rooms. There is one double and one with 2 twin beds. Very convenient, easy walk to museums - flat, but is at least a mile.

The space was immaculate and so charming. It has a large private shower and beautiful light. The space was quiet at night. I would absolutely book this place again next time in Amsterdam. Proximity to the park was very nice. Worth mentioning that this is not a good selection for anyone with physical limitations as the stairs are very narrow, curving. and long. This was a 10/10 stay for me.

Very pleasant stay at this place. Host available and friendly. Quiet, comfortable location, very clean and close to public transport. I recommend it without any hesitation!

This was a perfect place for us to stay and Petra was a wonderful hostess. Spotless and with thoughtful touches. Access to public transport was easy; walking through the park to the city centre is delightful. There are some nice places to eat nearby. We would definitely stay here again. thank you so much.

Wonderful accommodations in a wonderful city!!

The property was very clean and comfortable. Also it was in a good location. The one thing that should be made clear in the advertising is that the rooms are up 2 flights of steep stairs. For older people, or for those with mobility issues, this property would present difficulties. Currently no mention of this on the website.

Excellent stay - only issue is beds were too soft for my husband hindering his back - other than that all perfect

This was wonderful! Very comfortable and perfect location off Vondelpark in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants nearby and tram close.

The Owner, Petra, lives adjacent, and was beyond couteous, attentive, and friendly. The Nespresso coffee and variety of breakfast biscuits were lovely, and a private refrigerator handy. Comfy bed and bedding, fresh towels daily, and good ventilation made our stay in Amsterdam wonderful.

Excellent. Tastefully furnished. Clean. Well appointed kitchen area. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Close to the park. Good choice of restaurants close by. Helpful and friendly host.

I spent about two days on-line trying to find somewhere to stay in Amsterdam as most places seemed to be charging a small fortune for rooms that had really bad reviews. This was definitely time well spent as the Vondelpark House B&B is quite simply one of the best places I've ever stopped in for a short break. The room was immaculate clean and wonderfully decorated, with the loveliest bathroom. I really liked the fact that there is a separate kitchen that guests have access to to be able to make their own coffees/teas, meals etc if they wish to. Petra was also the perfect host and made me feel very welcome. The house is in the most peaceful location just off the very top left corner of Vondelpark - so handy to just stroll through the Park to one of the cafes for breakfast on the way out each day and so lovely to wander back through on the way home. If you are going to Amsterdam at all - you really wont find anywhere as great as this and at such a reasonable rate.

Charming accommodation located relatively close to the museum area and park. Accommodation only….no breakfast.

Petra was a delight! The property was absolutely adorable and we had a lovely stay. Planning to return here our next time in Amsterdam.

Petra was super friendly and informative. Location is amazing with easy access to tram to go to old Amsterdam within a 3 min walk. Lots of restaurants around and the park itself is phenomenal. We spent a couple of hours hanging out in the park and enjoyed the laid back vibe and the parrots flying about! Highly recommended

Absolutely a stunning property to stay, great location, extremely clean and shining, a truly beautiful home, the host is wonderful!

Very clean and spacious accommodation. Has shared kitchen and own shower room & toilet. Would have been nice to have breakfast there, but very pleased with accommodation.

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and clean. It is located near vondelpark, train/bus stops, numerous restaurants, and other great attractions. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view. My entire stay here was comfortable and easy going.

This was our first time staying in a B&B in Amsterdam. Vondelpark House is in the perfect location outside the hustle and bustle of Centrum, next to Vondelpark with easy tram links to Centrum. The B&B was spotlessly clean and our host, Petra gave us a warm and informative welcome. The house is decorated beautifully. Very quiet at night and we had a great nights sleep. Overall, we have had a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend to anyone wanting a B&B experience in Amsterdam.

Great spot for us closer to family who love in the city. Accessibility is difficult with a little one but no different to any property of this type in Amsterdam. Lovely kitchen facilities for making hot drinks.

Ottima permanenza!

Excellent location. Wonderful hostess. Comfortable room.

The owner is very kind and provided all the information I needed. Would definitely stay here again. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and it’s cozy and clean .

We stayed in a large bright en-suite room with beautiful decor, which also had access to a lovely clean kitchen which allowed us to make freshly brewed coffee and tea. The B&B is in a quiet residential area of Amsterdam, with numerous restaurants and breakfast cafes within a few minutes' walk. Petra was the perfect hostess - very friendly, helpful and approachable. We will definitely return to this beautiful B&B when we visit Amsterdam in the future!

We appreciated the level of detail the owner has taken for the interior fitout. Spotlessly clean. Natural light. Big bedroom and well appointed bathroom. Great service and obliging. We just missed not having TV. But probably a good thing.

The owner, Petra was very accommodating and clear about the check in and out process. I loved how clean the room was and that the host was available to answer all questions.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It is delivered to your room. Petra is wonderful host.

The place is very beautiful and comfortable, the host takes care about every detail in the hotel, the design of the room, the flowers, and everything you need in the bathroom. The kitchen offers some simple equipment (cooking not available), and a variety of nice coffee and teabags free to your use. The host family is staying upstairs of the hotel room but it's separated so it feels very private. Overall the stay is great I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer.

Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin Petra!

Very nicely decorated traditional Dutch rooms. Petra gave a warm welcome and checked I had everything that I needed. The kitchen had a fridge and microwave and crockery and cutlery if you wanted to cater for yourself.

Wonderfull stay in my favourite spot. Only minus could perhaps be thats the toilet is small and the bathroom huge, but the building plan is what it is in Amsterdam though

Location, decor, atmosphere, cleanliness. One of the best places to stay if you are visiting Amsterdam.

Excellent two-day stay. Newly refurbished, spotlessly clean. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Close to Vondelpark and a short tram ride to the museum area. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Wonderful B & B experience in close proximity to the centre of Amsterdam. Petra, the owner, made us feel like it was our own home and she could not do enough to help. Entry stairwell is steep but the effort is well rewarded. Would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful room and facilities, bright and airy. Lovely Dutch touches to make you feel that you really are in Holland. Breakfast was brought to our room, presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. A wide variety of restaurants nearby and tramstop to the city centre was within easy walking distance. So pleased we chose Vondelpark House to stay. Would highly recommend.

The room is really pretty. The location is close to the airport and can walk to the city centre within 45 minutes. There is a kitchen for guests to make tea/coffee. Generally, the accommodation is super good. But the noise from the opposite bar in the night can be an issue.
