Yes i liked it so much

Location is close to galata , but not suitable for people with any knee issues. Going up and down to metro station or any transportation is 10 minutes of pure hell .

AC was distinction most of the time . And telephone is not working, they didn’t even reply on mobile or WhatsApp whenever there is any issue .and the night shift guy was so rude . I found cockroach twice room was not clean and there is a mold . Bed cover and duvet was very small to the bed size for 2 persons.

Nous avons passé un séjour plutôt agréable à Istanbul. Le personnel est sympathique, accueillant et disponible. Le premier jour, nous avons malheureusement été déçus, car la chambre qui nous a été donnée n’était pas celle que nous avions réservée et elle ne correspondait pas à nos attentes. Heureusement, Mohamed a été vraiment exceptionnel. Il a pris le temps d’écouter notre problème et a fait le nécessaire pour nous changer de chambre rapidement. Grâce à son professionnalisme, sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité, notre séjour s’est beaucoup mieux passé. Nous tenons vraiment à le remercier, car il a fait la différence. Nous souhaitons également remercier les deux frères jumeaux qui travaillent à l’hôtel. Ils ont été adorables avec nous, toujours souriants, gentils et aux petits soins. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié leur accueil et leur sympathie. En revanche, gros point négatif : il n’y avait tout simplement pas de petit-déjeuner, ce qui est dommage et mériterait d’être amélioré. .

Malgré le problème rencontré le premier jour et l’absence de petit-déjeuner, nous gardons un bon souvenir de notre séjour, notamment grâce à Mohamed et à son excellent accueil

Wilson Galata is a great place to explore Istanbul. It’s located a few steps away from the Galata Tower on a quiet street. The rooms are spacious and clean with good air cons, beds are comfortable and the shower has good water pressure. The staff at the reception are nice and welcoming. We visited many times and always liked it.

Singura chestie care nu mi a plăcut a fost că deși l am anunțat pe tipul de la recepție că doresc schimbarea prosoapelor dimineață când am plecat în oraș acestea nu au fost schimbate..seara am anunțat din nou că as dorii alte prosoape pt că erau ude care le aveam a zis ok și tot nimic,probabil comunicarea dintre cele de la recepție și cine face curat e mai greoaie... recomand să puneți la ușă că vreți să vă facă curat este o chestie din aia din hârtie și așa probabil sigur nu ce ți întâmpină vreo problema

Located very close to the galata tower so very heppening throughout the day. Easy access to public transport so very easy to travel to tourist attractions and bosphorus cruise is nearby as well. Staff is also helpful. Overall great value for money

Excellent location

Wilson Galata's location was perfect. You can see Galata Tower from outside the hotel and its only 5 minutes walk. T1 tram, Grand Bazar, Egyption Bazar, Hagya Sofia, Blue mosque and even Ferry Station to go to Asian side was very very close. This was our best stay in the whole trip. The rooms were small but comfortable.

AC tripped a couple of times but staff fixed it immediately.

Ho cambiato tre stanze... solo l ultima era adeguata e similare a quella prenotata e pagata ! Lo scosiglio. Da non tornarci. Ho imparato che quando bookung presenta offerte... ci sta da dubbitare... Tengo a evidenziarvi che se incappate un problemi di sistemazione poi non riceverete alcuna assistenza da booking. Dopo 5 giorni booking ancora ha risposto alla mia richiesta di assistenza.

Esta muy bien ubicado, cerca a todo. El personal colaboro conmigo, fueron amables, pacientes y muy coordiales. Me ayudaron con la reserva del globo eñ Capadoccia y el tour por el Bosforo en barco. A destacar hasta se preocuparon por mi, ya que viaje sola y mi hija no podia contactar conmigo, se encargaron de buscarme y localizarme, para dejar con tranquilidad a mi hija. Muy agradecida con todo el buen trato de este hotel. De los dos recepcionistas encantadores y muy serviciales. El globo eñ capadoccia que ellos me ayudaron a contratar fue un sueño hecho realidad. Gracias a este tipo de hoteles, los turistas viajamos seguros de disfrutar nuestras ansiadas vacaciones

Great location and a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, very close to Galata Tower and the metro station. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was no safe box in the room, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily stay here again.

To start with the good points, the location is excellent. The property is situated on a quiet little street, very close to the lively parts of the city, yet somehow nicely “hidden” from all the noise and crowds. It was peaceful and well positioned, which we really appreciated. The air conditioning also worked well and made the room comfortable.

Unfortunately, there were several issues with the room and, more importantly, with how they were handled. When we arrived, we were informed that there was a problem with the door lock. The lock mechanism would sometimes come out of the door when removing the key, or the key would get stuck. We were told that this would be fixed the following morning, but unfortunately, it never was during our stay. Another issue was the complete lack of towels in the room. We reported this on the evening of our arrival and were told it would be taken care of the next morning. However, there were still no towels in the morning. Only much later, when we returned to the property, was the issue addressed, and it seemed that our initial request had simply been forgotten. At that point, we were offered another room, but since we were checking out the following morning, moving all our belongings for just one night did not really make sense. The condition of the room and bathroom was also disappointing. There was visible mould in the bathroom, signs of previous water damage in the room, and some water leakage around the toilet. It was not severe enough to make the bathroom unusable, but it was enough to create a constant damp smell. The staff were friendly in their interactions and did offer solutions eventually, which we appreciated, but for such a short two-night stay, having to repeatedly follow up on basic issues like a functioning door lock and towels was frustrating. The property has a great location and a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the maintenance and attention to guests’ requests need improvement. With these issues addressed, the experience could have been much better.

Great location on a lovely cobblestone street that leads to Galata tower. Prime tourist location so lots of crowds. Comfortable beds, brick walls in rooms adds character. Nice clean wooden floor.

The rooms are not like the pictures. Outdated, rusted wire frames, water damage visible on the ceiling. Balcony faces a building street slightly visible. Definitely has seen better days.

Une première chambre insalubre et humide, toutefois résolu dans la soirée avec un upgrade (merci). Un système d’ouverture de porte défaillant, nécessitant 5 minutes à chaque fois qu’il fallait entrer dans la chambre.

Die Unterkunft ist super Zentral, die Rezeption immer besetzt.

Bei näherem hinschauen ist hier und da alles etwas heruntergekommen. Mein Zimmer war am Ende des Flurs. Dort gab es eine Fluchttreppe dort scheint immer jmd geraucht zu haben. Der Gang hat daher immer nach Zigaretten gestunken. Mir persönlich hat ein Telefon zum erreichen der Rezeption aus dem Zimmer heraus gefehlt

Haben leider erst auf Anfrage erfahren, dass die Zimmer nur gereinigt werden, wenn man dies aktiv wünscht.

La ubicación muy cerca de Torre Galata. Habitación grande y cómoda y la terraza. Tiene un bar justo debajo. Los gatitos bebé que tenían. Buena relación calidad/precio.

Un poco viejo pero estaba limpio y era cómodo. No pasaban a limpiar la habitación. El bar de abajo no tenía muchas opciones para el desayuno.

Вернулись сюда спустя 4 года в этот отель, за это время номерной фонд сильно обветшал. Окна не закрываются плотно, из щелей шум улицы мешает спать. Постельное бельё синтетическое, подушки огромные и очень твёрдые. Дверные ручки и поверхности в зоне кухни липкие, но это можно исправить генеральной уборкой. А ещё среди ночи самостоятельно автоматически включатся кондиционеры в номерах, даже если с вечера они были выключены гостями.

This hotel is in such an amazing location! It has a little coffee shop up front for your morning coffee, and it’s just a few steps away from the Galata Tower. We had a smaller room the first few days and the staff helped us change to a bigger room with no hassle at all and everything we needed they always there to help whether it was appliances or calling for airport transfers! We had an amazing stay here

We had a nice suite and adjoning rooms and they were extremely comfortable and private as well. Each room had it's own bathroom and kitchen as well. .

There was nothing I didn't like about the room and location it was perfect!

Отличное месторасположение в виду Галатской башни, уютный номер, новая сантехника, отличный кондиционер, полный фарш для самостоятельного приготовления еды: холодильник,плита, микроволновка, чайник. Учитывая цены в кафе в центре,это полезно. Отдельно хочется отметить замечательную и милую баристу (и её кошку). Такой капучино редко подают и в более дорогих кафе.

Минусы следуют из плюсов: узкие и крутые улочки исторического центра, толкучка туристов днём.

The toilet wasn't flushing, but to be fair, they offered to move me to another room. The TV channels are less for a foreigner and Netflix didn't work I think due to poor Internet connection.

As a solo female traveler I felt very safe at this location with 24hour reception available. Nice coffee shop on the ground floor. Plenty supply of complimentary bottled water. Friendly staff with good English spoken.

Cafe attached to a hotel. The coffee was the same price and was ok. Nice decor and as ever drinking your coffee Al fresco in Istanbul means you are surrounded by smokers which is a ubiquitous experience

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist direkt neben dem Galata Tower und nur wenige Gehminuten von der Einkaufsstraße Istiklal caddesi entfernt. Super!

Leider ist in den Zimmern alles etwas lieblos und teilweise auch kaputt. Der Duschkopf hält nicht, das Regal im Bad ist schon durchgerostet und ab der zweiten Nacht ging plötzlich die Klimaanlage nicht mehr, was die Hitze unerträglich und schlafen unmöglich gemacht hat. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang hat zwar versucht zu helfen (nachts) und versprochen, dass das Problem am nächsten Morgen behoben wird, dem war aber nicht so. Zimmerreinigung gibt es nur auf Anfrage, frische Handtücher wurden uns erst beim dritten Mal fragen gebracht (wurde ständig vergessen). Das war leider ziemlich schade

We stayed at Wilson Galata several times because of its location right next to the Galata Tower and the good value it offers. The rooms are big and well-furnished with comfortable beds, the bathroom is spacious and the shower has good water pressure. Aircon is pretty quiet and efficient. Staff members are very nice and courteous.

Качество постельного белья, подушек😬 все было очень старым. Номер был очень пыльным! Просили уборку, но так и не пришли к нам. Вообщем номер выглядит очень ушатанно, не свежо, ванная комната совсем не располагала🫣 ах да, как только заселились встретились лицом к лицу с тараканом!

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel eine absolute Enttäuschung. Die Hygiene war höchstens mittelmäßig, aber das größte Problem war das totale Versagen der Zimmertechnik und des Service. Gleich am ersten Tag war die Toilettenspülung defekt. Sie wurde zwar repariert, fiel aber am nächsten Tag direkt wieder aus. In der darauffolgenden Nacht gab es dann bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur einen Totalausfall der Klimaanlage. Auf unseren Wunsch hin durften wir zwar das Zimmer wechseln, allerdings war das neue Zimmer extrem klein und lag weit unter der Kategorie, die wir eigentlich gebucht hatten. Nach erneuter Beschwerde zeigte man sich kulant und gab uns eines der größten Zimmer – doch auch hier ging das Chaos weiter: Es gab keinen Föhn auf dem Zimmer. An der Rezeption wurde uns erst versprochen, dass einer gebracht wird. Als nach 30 Minuten immer noch nichts da war und wir nachfragten, hieß es plötzlich, man habe gar keinen Föhn mehr und könne erst am nächsten Tag einen organisieren. Das gleiche Spiel bei den Handtüchern: Als wir frische wollten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass keine mehr da seien. Zu allem Überfluss gab es in der letzten Nacht auch noch einen Stromausfall. Der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren alles andere als dienstleistungsorientiert, und der Filterkaffee beim Frühstück hat einfach grottenschlecht geschmeckt. Das einzig Positive an diesem Hotel ist die Lage direkt am Galataturm – das rechtfertigt aber in keiner Weise diesen mangelhaften Zustand und den schlechten Service. Keine Weiterempfehlung!

Le réceptionniste qui y travaille été très froid , pas accueillant je ne retournerais pas dans cet établissement . Aucune accueil vraiment il y a tellement d’hôtel autour je ne vous conseil pas celui là .

Le personel de l’accueil vraiment pas sympa , c’était très désagréable vraiment n’aller pas ici je vous le déconseille fortement . L’emplacement était tout en haut d’une pente hyper compliqué plus beaucoup de bruit le soir .

The hotel was close to Galata tower. It was also clean and had working AC in the rooms. The breakfast got delivered on time and we have enjoyed the coffee from the downstairs coffee shop.

The wifi was hardly working on the 2nd floor. The TV also did not work for the streaming services as the wifi wasn't great. The reception is very small and you have to order breakfast from 9.00 onwards which is a bit late if you try to leave early.

В номере жили по 2 человека, после уборки всегда оставляли только 1 полотенце и второй всегда надо было выпрашивать. В последние 2 дня не ставили воду. Кондиционер в холодном режиме не работал. В первый день был грубый человек на ресепшене.

Die Ausstattung war nicht in dem Zustand wie sie auf den Bildern ersichtlich ist. Teils verrostet bzw beschädigt. Es waren auch Schimmelflecken sowohl im Bad als auch im Zimmer. Die Dichtung der Tür zum Gang hat auch gefehlt man hat sozusagen alles was im Gang passiert ist gehört.

Bien placé, à côté de la tour galata . Beaucoup d'animations, magasins et restaurants pour tout les goûts.

L'isolation de l'hôtel, on entend les bruits à l'extérieur.

Rooms were outdated, pillows provided were uncomfortable, our room was just outside of the lift and we could hear the lift motor working all night. There is very little noise insulation. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience and this hotel does not deserve three stars
