Brilliant location for an overnight stay. Right in very beautiful old town on leafy streets opposite castle.easy walkable access to Cathedral etc. Surprisingly quiet during the night. Breakfast was excellent with local Lincolnshire sausages. Husband says eggs Benedict was excellent.

All of the staff were welcoming, helpful and polite. Flexible breakfast times, so didn't need to book exact time in the two hour slot that was offered between 7 and 9 am. I ordered an omelette which was delicious.

Room 11 2nd floor with front view. Compact. Comfy bed. Room service every day. Clean towels. Nice toiletries. Good size bathroom. Great breakfast. Very efficient and friendly staff. Lovely bar and outside space. Bar food is great quality (2 sandwiches for £20. We shared steak frites & coronation chicken). 5min walk to Cathedral and Castle. Free street parking pass during our 3 night stay (£10 returnable deposit).

Ideal location for visiting Lincoln. Most tourist attractions e.g. cathedral and castle are within a 5 - 10 minutes walk. Parking permits are available on a first come first served basis. Otherwise there is a car park immediately opposite which charges £10.70 for 24 hours. Excellent cooked breakfast.

The breakfast is wonderful-either cooked or cold. Everything is cooked to your preference, and plentiful. Staff is incredibly helpful. My room was just wonderful, with a window nook and a comfy couch! Unexpected, and appreciated.

Not a complaint at all, but when I had some problems with the wifi at first (just router issues), they were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Compared to other places I've stayed, they were terrific!.

The Tower Hotel has to be one of the best‑situated hotels in Lincoln centre — just a short walk from the Cathedral, Castle, and the Bailgate area, making it ideal whether you’re visiting for sightseeing, shopping, or a night out.

Lovely decorated room, very comfortable bed and pillow, very clean both room and bathroom. Very nice scented toiletries. There was even a big fan x the hotter days. That's a great asset!! As room's here in the UK aren't conditioned for the heat, specially old buildings like this. But not needed. The best was location and super yummy well cooked breakfast.

Really bad WIFI also for Tv connectivity. Plugging sockets very tricky to find and kettle cord too short.

The Tower is an excellent hotel which combines modern facilities with period charm. It is ideally situated for visiting the attractions of the old city. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, having all the amenities that a visitor requires. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. I have stayed there many times before and will do so again if I return to Lincoln.

The location was perfect by the castle and cathedral. The staff were very helpful and it was clean and comfortable.

Power points in the room we’re in one area by the desk and we’re all taken up with fridge, tv and lamp. There was a short extension cord which I used for my charger and the fan (it was very hot). But there was no where to plug in a fan near the second bed.

Not really the fault of the hotel but it was an exceptionally hot day and being in the top with with no air conditioning, it was unbearably hot in the room. A fan was provided, which was appreciated.

So close to the castle, cathedral, main streets of pubs and restaurants and large car parks. Lovely big bar area and outdoor seating. All staff were lovely, breakfast service was great and there was just such a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Loved the location of this hotel, nestled behind Lincoln castle (We even had a view of the castle wall from our room!) and perfectly placed for restaurants and wandering. The staff were all so incredibly kind and attentive. The room was gorgeous, decorated beautifully and had every amenity we needed, tea tray with Yorkshire Tea and biscuits! I really appreciated the shampoo toiletries provided as we only stayed one night. The bed was very comfortable and a fan was provided which was a very welcome touch. The breakfast in the beautiful dining room was plentiful and delicious! There were some great choices but the full English was perfect. We spent some time in the bar before bed, and indulged in amazing cocktails while enjoying the atmosphere. I really can't recommend this hotel enough for your stay in Lincoln.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, you can park right outside with a parking permit from the hotel, or a pay and display area directly opposite. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and beautifully presented. We ate in the bar area the both nights we were there, the food was excellent. Breakfast was lovely with great choice. We were two couples staying over two nights, we never moved the car and walked everywhere. The castle is opposite you can see the walls from the hotel. The cathedral which is simply wonderful is a few minutes walk away .

Super Hotel mit Restaurant dabei und klasse Frühstück. Wer mit dem Zug anreist und nicht vom Bahnhof Lincoln aus (bergauf) laufen möchte, kann bequem mit dem "Walk & Ride" Bussen direkt an das Hotel fahren.

Our stay in the Tower Hotel was fir a birthday weekend and there was a 1940's event taking place and it just made a fantastic weekend even better. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, well appointed, the rooms are beautifully decorated and beds are very comfortable. It is perfectly located close to the Cathedral and Castle, and the cosy shops. Parking wasn't an issue, there's a car park opposite the hotel, which we parked in but for a £10 deposit, which is returned when your leaving, the hotel will issue you with a parking permit so you can park on the street. for The food is excellent, particularly the breakfast and Sunday lunch, the bar is very popular with a very friendly atmosphere. The price we paid for 2 rooms with breakfast for 4 people was excellent value. Finally the staff, they are an amazing team, friendly attentive and more than happy too help. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to stay in Lincoln.

The hotel is excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Louisa, the manager, was always checking we were happy and everything was ok. They have an excellent chef, as all the food we had there was delicious. Lovely full English breakfasts, a delicious evening meal and an equally delicious Sunday roast. A lovely garden and front terrace, nice bar area too. The rooms were quite small, but were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. A 5 minute walk from the castle, the cathedral and the Lincoln Museum of Life, which I would recommend too. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The location for visitors to Lincoln is ideal and just across the road from the hotel is a good public car park The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel rooms are above a thriving pub/ restaurant with a very good outdoor seating area which had a very good selection of drinks. The breakfast was one of the best we have had.

With the front outside seating area directly under our room we had to close our windows because of people smoking below which the smoke drifted up but reopened them later when the bar below was closed.
