המקום לא נקי בכלל לצערי קיבלנו חדר מלוכלך עם אוכל של מישהו זר במיני בר בחדר שהחליפו לנו היה גם לא ככ נקי מאוחרי הטלוויזיה היתה חזיה זרוקה לחדר היה ריח חזק של עובש וקירות לא נקיים

The size of the room was the only saving grace!

Breakfast was lousy...staff & reception were not knowledgeable to what's around the hotel ... nor could they help us with the air conditioning in the room...overall not a pleasant stay!

הצוות לא היה מקצועי במיוחד, הרבה פעמים הרגשנו זלזול מהצוות, הייתה תקרית לא נעימה בחדר האוכל שהצוות לא היה שם בשבילי ולא עזר לי למצוא מקום לשבת לאכול בחדר אוכל על ארוחה ששילמתי עליה בנוסף..מאכזב וכשדיווחתי למנהל הוא לא באמת עזר..

There's no specific information that the hotel is 80-90% Jewish. It's not a big deal, but there are some restrictions, a women-only pool. It's unthinkable in the graveyard to go there again. Leaving aside the issue of meals.

Staff very friendly Regis Helped us to get our passports back from Orlando what we left in an other hotel in Orlando 3 hours away He organised in 10 min with hotel security and uber driver Without him i missed my flight to London ! Thanks and i will remember for him forever ! Pool amazing view day and night! Very basic standard rooms , I would say very old style They have space very good settings and the beautiful River very nice ground they could make it better They have the best views from pool to Miami downtown on the roof They have this beautiful River, but they don’t use their space , Gym facing to the river too they should make it nicer. It could be a five star unique hotel.

בהגעה למלון היתבררלנו כי יד מעטה אחת סוגית ואין מיטה לילד למרות שבהסמנה שאושרה 2 מבוגרים וילד. נאמר כי הילד הוא בחינם ולכן אין מיטה אז הוא ישן על הריצפה ? לאחר שיחה ארוכה הוסיפו לנו מיטה בידר שהיה קטן מלהכיל אבל אין ברירה .... בהמשך הקבלה קיבלנו את השוברים לארוחת הבוקר לשלושה ימים והם זוגיים בלבד בלנרות שוב שההזנה ניסגרה ואושרה לשתי מבוגרים וילד . םדיברי נציגצ הקבלב שוב הילד הוא בחינם ולכן יש לשלם עבור הארוחות שלו 30 דולר ומיסים ליום כלומר 90 דולר + 10% מיסים .לא שילמתי ופניתי מיד לשירות הלקוחות של בוקינג שחזרו למחרת בבוקר והסברצי לה שגם באתר של ם לא רשום דבר על הנושא. לאחר שיחה עם הנציגה שהשאירה אותי בהמתנה ושוחחה עם המלון אמרה לי שהעניין סגור ושנרד לקבלה לקבל שובר עבור הילד . בקבלה חא הסכימו ואמרו לי שנציגה מבוקינג כלל לא שוחחה שם עם אף נציג . בעול מיקאה אמרה תכנעס את הילד רק היום ואדבר עם המנהל בהמשך היום. עד השעה 18 בערב לא קיבלתי תשובה והיא חא השיגה את המנהל . אמרתי שבסדר שאני עשלם ושצוציא לי פערוט וקבלה עבור התשלום ושבוקינג הבטיחו לי שהם יחזירו לי את הכסף והם ידרשו את זה מהמלום זאת האיריות שלהם ( אכן כך מסרה לי הנציגה של בוקינג) . בסופו של דבר הסכימה מחוסר ברירה ואחרי התעקשות של יום שלם שהילד יכנס לאכול ללא תשלום. תודהלבוקינג על הטיפול המהיר ולקיחת אחריות

Os funcionários são mal humorados Tirando os da recepção que foram educados a grande maioria são mal humorados principalmente os funcionários do restaurante do café da manhã...todo dia, mal tinham vontade de responder ou servir algo.. eu dava bom dia eles viravam a cara sem responder parecia que meu sorriso incomodava, o cara do omelete so me sorriu e foi simpático um dia mas ok. A limpeza tive um dia dentro do quarto e nem passaram aspirador o quarto cheira horrível do carpete velho misturado c a maresia fede mofo... as paredes cheia de umidade e barulho de água pelas paredes...eu sinceramente pelas fotos e pelo valor estava com expectativas bem maiores para o hotel ....mas se trocarem por carpete de madeira os quartos ou piso frio ...pintarem derem uma leve mexida o hotel tem enorme potencial... outra coisa absurda o hotel cobrar um absurdo para parar o carro dei sorte que minha prima estava nu. Predio próximo e parei c ela se nao gastaria uma fortuna podia pra quase nem usar o carro.

This hotel is a 3 star at best. The first room we were given had walls made of paper, you could follow the normal conversation next door. No raised voices at all. It also had no coffee maker, considering that this hotel does not offer breakfast until 8:30 AM, this is a problem. The phone did not work, could not call reception. The rooms are ok not updated, with signs of wear. When we first made reservations, we did not get any confirmation, and in a call to the hotel 2 weeks later, they told us they had no such reservation. We made a new reservation through Booking. When we arrived there, they said we had 2 reservations! We explained and the receptionist said she would take care of it. When we checked the charges, they double-charged, and one of the reservations was overcharged. All around, not worth the hassle. Will definitely stay somewhere else.

Rooms show noticeable signs of wear. Our first room had such thin walls one could hear normal-tone conversations from next door. The room had no coffee maker, and the phone did not have a dial tone. Breakfast, which is purportedly very good, does not start until 8:30 AM. Definitely not geared to early travelers. Reception is terrible. After a call to the hotel did not find our reservation; we rebooked, and they charged us twice, although the receptionist said she would straighten out the account. On top of that, they overcharged, There are better places to stay.

It was mostly a positive experience -- pool was nice, hot tub worked well, lobby staff were friendly.

Just a few suggestions: 1) We called the front desk to ask if towels would be provided at the beach (since we were out and wanted to avoid returning to the hotel just to get towels). The receptionist told us yes, but then there were no towels at the beach station for Altair. This was unfortunate with young kids especially and we ended up leaving early due to the inconvenience. 2) The breakfast buffet could use some improvement. -- while the salads, baked goods were great, the omelet station didn't work the duration of our stay. Young kids don't eat the salads, so not having eggs was a minus. Also, was quite difficult to get a cappuccino and no option to charge drinks to the room or take the coffee back to the room. 3) The shower with the half-door design does not work very well. We ended up flooding the bathroom floor even while turning the shower head towards the wall and trying to keep the water in. Just not a very logical setup for a shower!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay earned one. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, it seemed like there was a new problem every single day. We checked into a room with visible roaches running around. The hotel apologized and promised to upgrade us to a room with a balcony. The “upgrade” didn’t even have a balcony, so we had to move yet again and didn’t finally get settled until around 12:30 a.m. on our first night. The next day, housekeeping somehow rolled one of my AirPods and my white dress shirt into the bedding. The AirPod ended up in the hotel laundry, and because I could still track it from my phone, I eventually dug through the hotel’s laundry myself to recover it. The shirt was never found. While staff made some effort to help, the fact that I had to search through hotel laundry to recover my own property is absurd. Because we were observing Shabbat, my wife specifically asked whether we could bring sealed cans of soda to our meals. She was told yes. We relied on that answer, only to have the kosher supervisor come to our table during the meal and tell us the drinks had to go. If the answer was no, just tell us no. Don’t tell guests one thing and then embarrass them in front of everyone. We also requested a Shabbat-compatible room setup. The hotel gave us a physical key but never disabled the energy-saving system, so every time the key was removed, the lights shut off. We explained the issue, yet nothing was done. That completely defeated the purpose of the accommodation. Then came the final straw. After checkout, we left our luggage with the hotel for safekeeping. When it was returned, our belongings were soaked in Coca-Cola because another guest’s cans had leaked onto our bags while they were in the hotel’s storage room. When I reported the damage, I was essentially told to take it up with the other guest. No. My luggage wasn’t in the other guest’s custody—it was in yours. Any hotel can have an isolated mistake. What separates a good hotel from a bad one is how it responds. Unfortunately, this stay was defined by repeated failures, broken promises, poor communication, and an unwillingness to take ownership when things went wrong. I left disappointed, frustrated, and with less confidence in this property than I have had in almost any hotel I’ve stayed in. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously so future guests don’t have the same experience.

O hotel olhando de longe parece maravilhoso... A localização é perto da collins e de um canal com casas lindíssimas . A cama era muito confortavel me abraçava e eu dormia igual pedra...

Muitas coisas....pelas fotos, preços, e localização esperava muito mais... os funcionários do café são super mal humorados ...mal abre a boca pra responder alguma coisa te tratam como se tivessem te fazendo um favor...o cara dos omeletes falava bom dia ele nem respondia...so teve um dia que ele sorriu foi quando falamos c ele fora do restaurante fora isso nao queria nem ouvir ... Os quartos cheiram forte cheiro de umidade com mofo...minha alergia gritou.. pois tem tapetes que nos 5 dias que fiquei não foram aspirados... No primeiro dia de limpeza eu tinha um casamento, saí a manhã toda não limparam ai quando vim me arrumar as 14 a mulher quis entrar, falei que ia tomar banho e me arrumar pra ela voltar em 1 hora mas ela disse que tinha que ir embora pra outro hotel então deixei ela entrar enquanto me arrumava..ela so arrumou a cama e catou as toalhas do banheiro e pós outra....não aspirou o quarto não passou um pano no banheiro não limpou nada....por isso sempre levo comigo um kit de lysol (desinfetante em lenço ou spray mini) lenço de álcool.. e eu mesmo limpo vaso ..torneiras coloco spray nos lençóis... e por ai vai... Na pia do banheiro tinha uma crosta de sujeira atrás da torneira todo dia acordava ia escovar os dentes e ja via aquela nojeira... Os papéis de parede tudo soltando paredes c pedacos de umidade....achei q os quartos precisam de reforma urgente...de longe parece chiquerrimo mas de perto da pra ver q ta na hora de trocar carpete por piso frio ou carpete de madeira.... melhorar os banheiros...meu banheiro tava c barulho de vazamento mas depois q reclamei melhorou... Usei um balm para dor nas costas o que deixou o lençol amarelo e nem assim o lençol foi trocado... além do que teve um dia que cheguei meu lençol estava encharcado nao estava úmido estava muito molhado e elas vieram c papo que era spray pra alisar a cama mas eu nao acho q tenha sido, perguntou se queria que trocasse mas acabei deixando depois da explicação vai que vinha um pior..

The hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel provides breakfast with each reservation which is a huge plus. You have the pool on the rooftop & the Ovo restaurant for dinner if you'd like. I went alone to recharge and relax!!! That is what I did.

לא אהבתי את זה שאנחנו שילמנו עבור שלושה אורחים אבל ארוחת הבוקר היא לשניים בלבד. מרגיש שכל הזמן מנסים לסחוט כסף. בנוסף, אני אדם דתי אבל בשבת ארוחת הבוקר היתה דלה ועלובה מאד.

The Altair markets itself as a boutique luxury hotel, and in many ways it lives up to that promise. However, my experience at the breakfast buffet this morning fell well short of those standards and I feel compelled to share it. I approached the omelette station and asked the server if I could place an order. He acknowledged me, said yes, and I waited. He then proceeded to serve multiple other guests who arrived after me, without ever returning to take my order. When I brought it to his attention, I was told — in a dismissive and rude tone — that I should have waited on the other side. This is not a minor miscommunication. A luxury hotel's breakfast experience should be seamless and welcoming. Being visibly ignored after a direct interaction with staff — and then spoken to rudely when raising a concern — is not consistent with the caliber of hospitality this hotel charges for and promises. I genuinely enjoy this property and would like to continue staying here. I hope management will take this seriously and address it with their breakfast team. I am happy to discuss this directly. My hope is that this is an isolated incident, not a pattern.

What a great experience. Hotel is clean. Pool is warm and has a beautiful view. Rooms are comfortable.. The best part is the staff. So accommodating and polite. We had an issue ( not the hotels fault) And they went out of their way to help us. Special thank you to Regis . What a polite and helpful young man. Hotel is lucky to have him . We will be back.

Het is een bijzonder hotel met veel Joodse gasten. Op zich niets mis mee. Maar er zou wel vermeld moeten worden dat het ontbijt daardoor kosher is, en dat vind niet iedereen lekker. Er is GEEN alternatief voor andere niet Joodse gasten en dat is raar.

Staff were rude. We had housekeeping videoing us and inside our room. The person at the omelette station as well as the mashigiach in charge were just blatantly rude and confrontational

איזור טוב, מאוד יפה, חצי שעה בערך הליכה מהים, המלון עצמו טוב, מיטות נוחות, נקי אם מבקשים פלטה מקבלים (וזה חשוב כי הארוחות במלון מאוד מאוד יקרות) קנינו את האוכל בסופר שקוראים לו grove והיה בו הכל, החל מיין, חלות, אוכל מוכן, סושי ועוד. למרות שבטלפון אמרו לנו שאי אפשר לעשות צ׳ק אאוט מאוחר בשבת, כשהגענו אמרו לנו שאין בעיה לעשות את זה (כמובן בתוספת תשלום של כמעט 1000 ש״ח ללילה אבל זה עדיף מלשלם על עוד לילה כמו שהציעו לנו בטלפון לפני וב״ה לא עשינו את זה)

הצוות לא היה אדיב בכלל ולא נענה לבקשות (ביקשנו פן חדש כי זה ששלחו לנו היה שבור והם לא טרחו לשלוח אחד אחר אפילו שהתקשרנו לבקש) ארוחת הבוקר דלה מאוד(אומנם היה שבת ובכל זאת) לחם יבש, גבינות, ביצה קשה , דגני בוקר וירקות למרות שביקשנו לחייב בכרטיס אחר ולא בזה ששמנו לביטחון הם התעלמו ופשוט חייבו לפני הצ׳ק אאוט בכרטיס שהיה להם.

The Altair Bay Harbor Hotel is a good property in terms of structure and location.

There is a very important point that is not clearly communicated to guests: this is essentially an Orthodox Jewish-oriented hotel. This has a direct impact on the guest experience. The breakfast is strictly kosher, which means no bacon, no cold cuts, and very limited bread options — something that may not meet expectations if you are not aware in advance. The pool access is also highly restrictive, with specific schedules for women-only, men-only, and family use. In practice, this made it almost impossible for us to use the pool during our stay. Overall, you constantly feel like you are the “different element” in the environment, almost as if you are doing something wrong just by being there and not following the same customs. This is not a criticism of the culture or the hotel’s positioning — but it absolutely should be clearly stated upfront so guests can make an informed decision before booking.

Lors de mon dernier séjour dans cet hôtel, j’ai été assez déçu au vu du prix que nous avons payé, car la prestation n’est pas à la hauteur. Le personnel, notamment en restauration et pour le nettoyage, n’était pas très accueillant, ce qui ne donne pas une très bonne impression pendant le séjour. Le petit déjeuner est exactement le même tous les matins, avec très peu de variété. Il est servi dans de la vaisselle en plastique, ce qui est surprenant pour un hôtel de ce standing, et l’expresso est en supplément. Pour le tarif demandé, on s’attend à beaucoup mieux. Dans les chambres, il n’y a ni bouilloire ni machine à café, ce qui est pourtant un équipement assez basique. Le ménage est fait de manière assez approximative, certaines parties de la chambre n’étaient pas correctement nettoyées. Dans l’ensemble, le séjour reste correct, mais le rapport qualité-prix n’est clairement pas satisfaisant. Des améliorations sont nécessaires pour justifier le tarif pratiqué.

Hotel is at an excellent upscale location. Ideal for families to stay. Room was very clean and spacious bathrooms and stand in shower. Be prepared that you have go pay $40 for overnight parking and its a valet parking. Good breakfast as well in the morning as well included for two in hotel stay which adds to the value. Overall, great experience!

My experience at this hotel was very bad. When I arrived in the room, I found a dirty towel, which already created a terrible first impression. Later, I asked for a coffee maker, but it did not work. In addition, there were no gluten-free options at breakfast, which shows a lack of attention to guests with dietary restrictions. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.

Исправно работали только парни на парковке. И девушка что первый день нас принимала.

Полотенца были грязные с такими ценами можно было полотенца и пододеяльники отбелить и не подавать гостям с ржавыми пятнами. А бассейн это вообще нонсенс купаться по времени ребенок хочет сейчас он на отдыхе, а ему тут время ещё и семью в самую жару.

The complementary breakfast food was better than expected.

Just wanted to share a disappointing experience, the omelette chef was extremely rude and made guests uncomfortable. I witnessed him being denigrating and even clapping in a guest's face to hurry her up, which led to a confrontation. Our waiter confirmed this behavior is common, yet HR hasn't addressed it. Sadly, this might stop me from returning to the hotel.

We love harry the luggage man he’s so helpful always a big smile and made the stay so much nicer We really felt at home thanks to him
