Everything. Southampton accommodation prices were exceedingly high when I stayed but the guest house was really well priced and I couldn’t have asked for more value. Took 3 minutes to walk from the station and the same to the Mayflower Theatre and main museum. Quiet area too. Large, clean, comfortable single room with spacious shower and lots of hot water. Very pleasant welcome from owner.

Nothing considering what I paid. My room was two flights above the ground floor but I expected that before booking and when the owner saw my age and baggage she immediately checked without me asking to see if there was a lower floor room. When there was n’t she immediately had her husband carry my bags upstairs and he was on hand to bring them down next day. So not a negative really.

It's clean , it's got all you need to be self sufficient.

Room was great, came with a fan which was a lifesaver in the hot humid weather recently. Staff were friendly and helpful, great place to stay. I was a solo traveller for a concert at The Guildhall and the guest house was perfect as was only a 7min walk. Parking is available to the rear of the guest house included in your booking. Would recommend and will stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Staff could have definitely been friendlier. Im disabled and messaged in advance for access to a room with very few, or no stairs. I arrived and there is a big staircase only, so I should have been allocated a ground floor room, however I wasnt pre allocated a ground floor room, it was allocated on the day and so the bathroom was seperate to the main room, when I specifically booked a room with a bathroom. As a person with both visible and hidden disabilities, this made it difficult for me in the night. There was no other option though., so I couldnt make a fuss. I ask that the venue reconsider thier policies on people with special needs,especially when confirming in advance that it would be no problem- and realise that not all disabilities are visible. As a disabled person it is very stressful travelling away from home with all of the considerations that need taking into account, and its important that venues acknowledge this, instead of making things harder. I felt quite dismissed at check in and treated with an attitude of 'like it or lump it' . I thought check out was 11am so checked out a bit late by mistake. 10am is quite early for check out.

The room was hot despite the window being open. The mattress was a foam one which was hot as you lay on it. there was no consideration for the fact that we have had two months of hot weather, the duvet was too thick for the overnight temperature. There should have been light weight sheets provided instead. Over priced for the quality of the bedding. Since it was advertised as 'bed only'

Price was a decent level for a Friday night in July.

TV not working. Changed the batteries on the remote, still no go. Room neded a good clean. Internet connect patchy (which as I needed it for work was a bigger dowsiide than the tv issue.

Very close to town centre and rail station. Fridge in room was nice given the heat wave.

Just needed a twin room for my son and I for my daughter's graduation. This is a perfect location...6 mins walk from the train station and 6 mins walk to the Guildhall. The check in and out were easy and the room was clean and better than expected. I would stay there again.

Great location within walking distance of the station and city centre. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with good kitchen facilities.

They could have provided a fan because it gets too hot inside the room during the summer, but everything else was perfect.

The room was basic which was ok. It was fine for what I wanted. The price was great. The owners were great. Nice bathroom.

What I didn't like was there wasn't much ventilation with small windows. The fan wasn't that great. Now, the problem is, we stayed in the heat wave, on possibly, the hottest day of the year. To be honest it was the most uncomfortable stay in a hotel room I have had. On a normal day I would have thought it would be fine. I can't really blame them as it was exceptionally hot. I would stay again if the weather was better.

The kettle in the room did not work so i was unable to make a hot drink. Unfortunately there was no-one at the property to inform at the time of my stay.

Amplasata relativ aproape de autogara ( noi am venit cu un autobuz din aeroportul Luton ), dar si de poarta 10 a portului, poarta de unde a plecat croaziera Norwegian. Se poate ajunge pe jos la ambele destinatii daca nu esti prea pretentios si valizele nu sunt imense. Cazarea este intr-o casa veche in stil victorian, pe o strada cu multe case tipice.

Check aut-ul a fost devreme, la ora 10, destul de brutal, dar corect, am fost avizati in prealabil.

The location as close to the train station and a 10 min walk into town. Room was spacious and having a kitchenette was great.

Being on the ground floor and next to reception desk. However that said we didn’t get troubled by any noise and it was easier to wheel the cases into the room. Room felt overlooked from the pavement /road.

It had everthing I needed, plus a fridge and microwave which was not expected. This would have been an advantage if I had been there more more than the one night

the beds were comfortable and served the purpose.

No Reception, When a person came out of the "office/residence" We were greeted as an inconvenience to her. She didn't identify herself, she seemed very put off when asked location questions of the area. Her reply "Don't you have internet" She was very rude and unhelpful. As this was a port town and not many hotel rooms available, we felt we were gauged with the price of this meager accommodation and we felt a taken advantage of, because of this situation.

They issued a parking penalty during my stay. I contacted them afterwards, but I have not received any response.
