Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Der var den sødeste vært som bød os godt velkommen. Han opbevarede vores bagage både før og efter check-in, og gav os et lift til Ashi-søen fordi vejret var dårligt. Kan kun anbefale dette sted. Et hyggeligt og rummeligt værelse. Intet problem at dele bad og toilet med andre gæster, da der var mange toiletter tilgængelig.

Les chambres type ryokan ont des murs fins et nous entendions facilement les voisins parler fort et rire jusqu'à minuit.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Magical little place! I truely loved it here and the manager / owner was very kind and funny. I loved my room (Kyoto room) it was super clean and had everything I needed, the whole place is kept super clean and fresh and allows you to have a very comfortable stay, I used the kitchen for light meals but had everything I needed plus condiments I could also use. I had lots of fun and funny chats with the manager and I really look forward to going back. The location is also great, the bus stop is there next to the guest house and you walk 10 mins down a winding road to the main area with shops mt Fuji view and connecting busses.
Nothing everything was wonderful :) only thing I’d add is a small lamp to the bedrooms as the main light is too bright. Esp in the evening I wanted it to be more cozy but the place is so wonderful this is just a small thing :)

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026The location is convenient near the bus stop and walking distance to lake Ashi. The manager was very kind and helpful. All the facilities were complete we had a wonderful stay.
The rooms are not completely sound proof but ear plugs are provided so it was not a problem for us.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026服務小哥人很親切，有共用廚房、冰箱可以使用，廚房的鍋碗瓢盆很齊全也有微波爐、油鹽都有的要做菜是可以的，廁所超多間這點大大加分，被子很暖是日式老式溫泉旅館的那種被子。附近什麼都沒有，建議入住前先買好食物在上來，路口有公車站牌非常方便。

Decisamente più economico di molte sistemazioni nella zona, ma ugualmente valida. Si trova alla fermata dell’autobus appena fuori dal paese, che si raggiunge in cinque minuti a piedi. Consigliato.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Otel yetkilisi çok ilgili, güler yüzlü ve yardım sever biriydi. Tesise yerleştikten sonra dışarıya çıktığımızda bizi aracıyla göl kenarına bıraktı. Tesisten ayrılacağımız gün valizlerimizle birlikte aracıyla merkeze bıraktı. 3 kişi 2 odada konakladık. Odalar büyüktü. Temizdi, Kendimizi otel müşterisi değil misafir gibi hissettik.

I love the feeling of staying at ryokan and feel the Japanese living vibe with the tatami and the bath. They paid attention to detail. The cooking appliances is great although I do not have enough time to cook but next time I stay I would love to try cooking.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026The place is close to the lake about 15 by foot, the staff is very welcoming and they keep the facilities clean, also it is really close to the bus stop.
Because it is an old house the walls are very thin, so depending on who stays in the same dates, it can be quiet or a bit noisy (during our stay, the neighbors were Chinese and were somewhat noisy).

Other guests weren't very friendly but that's not the hosts fault. No walkways to go up the mountain, have to take the bus.The slippers I got had slippery material inside, they kept falling off my feet.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026J’ai passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cette maison d’hôte au Japon. L’emplacement est idéal, très bien situé pour découvrir les environs facilement. L’hôte est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, toujours attentive au moindre détail et soucieuse de notre confort. L’accueil a été chaleureux et irréprochable du début à la fin. La propreté est impeccable, tout est parfaitement entretenu. La maison est également très confortable, on s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Merci merci merci merci encore

Vanwege mijn lengte (ca. 1,90m) moest ik overal voor bukken en mijn benen staken bij het bed. De omgeving is mooi voor 2 dagen, maar daarna heb je het wel gezien. Daarnaast sluiten alle restaurants enorm vroeg in de omgeving.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026El chico encargado muy amable y servicial. Es un gran anfitrión. Es tipo Rhyokan, pero me gustó tener un calefactor en la habitación. Me tocó mucho frío, pero dormí muy bien.
El baño. Hay un laberinto de WC y el lavabo que me tocaba no servía. Está a 15 minutos caminando de Moto Hakone, cuesta arriba. Hay que bajarse del autobús una parada antes de Moto Hakone.

Reviewed Jan 24, 2026The service here is wonderful, and it is a good location super close to a bus stop. The room, shared kitchen area, and bathrooms were all clean, comfy, and well-maintained. I highly recommend this place for the hospitality alone!
The water lines froze so there wasn't hot water the night I stayed, but this wasn't a huge issue for my stay since I was only there for 1 night.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Incredibly nice staff, very easy to reach, nice Japanese style room in a cute house. Close to the lake, I highly recommend walking around it and discovering the beautiful nature. Important to stay away from the main tourist attractions though, the area is terribly touristy and crowded during the weekend.
Lighting in the room was a bit rough, but I guess that's part of the package in Japanese style rooms. Futon was very comfortable but sadly the blanket was too tiny for me (I'm 190cm tall). In general, everything is a bit tiny, but I guess that's Japan...

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026當天因為迷路所以走到了錯的旅館， 但當時風雨跟霧很大， 旅館又在山上所以不敢再走山路找， 打電話給管理人後，他就開車來載我們了！ 之後還帶我們去便利商店、 介紹附近有什麼景點等等，非常親切！ 房間跟浴室也都很乾淨， 雖然偶爾聽得見隔壁房間有人說話（日式薄牆 但到23:00後就蠻安靜的了。 下次去箱根會想再預約～

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026They provided us with yukatas, tea and a heater (since we were going in the winter), as well as towels. The futon was very comfortable and, since it was below zero outside, it was very helpful for us to be able to stay warm in the room. We were also able to watch the Japanese singing programme "Kohaku" while drinking tea and celebrating the New Year.

Reviewed Dec 5, 2025Everything, best accommodation of my trip, it’s guesthouse price but Japanese lyukan: all tatami room with yukata, low table, a thermal, teas and cup, tv, aircom. Fuji room has traditional lattice window and elegant doors. Kitchen /dining room fully equipped with condiments, instant coffee and sugar etc for free. The owner is very nice, even if he’s out whole day, found a way to store my suitcase till evening after checking out 10am, great help for travelers! Many thanks.
Nothing, only 1 min to bus stops for both directions. If not timing well for the bus, need to walk down to lakeside for 8-10min. We catch bus H (about every 15min) when uphill back to guesthouse.
