Es un oasis de paz en una ubicación muy céntrica en Ubud. Las instalaciones son preciosas y cuentan con muchísimos pequeños detalles relacionados a la cultura local. Lo mejor de todo fue, sin duda, el personal. Su increíble atención hace que te sientas como si fueras el único huésped del hotel: recuerdan tus preferencias, lo que te gusta y lo que no, y se aseguran de tenerlo siempre en cuenta. This was our third time staying at Alam Indah, and somehow it still feels like coming home. There is something very special about this place. Set in a lush tropical jungle, surrounded by monkeys, geckos, lizards, frogs and so much greenery, Alam Indah has a way of slowing you down and bringing you inward. In the evening, when the frogs and geckos begin their little rituals, you really feel completely immersed in nature. The hotel itself has so much soul. It is spacious and spread across beautiful grounds, yet somehow remains incredibly intimate. The traditional Indonesian architecture and older details give it a character that many newer hotels simply don’t have. The rooms are large, comfortable and have everything you need, but for me the real beauty is the atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally kind, calm and caring. You can genuinely feel how much everyone looks after this place — the gardens, the surroundings and the guests — with love and attention. It creates a feeling of peace that is difficult to describe until you experience it. The area around Alam Indah has also developed a lot since our previous visits, with lovely little cafés, spas, boutiques and shops opening nearby, as well as InMovement Yoga and other yoga studios. It’s now really nice to wander out for breakfast or coffee too — Café Lilu is an absolute must. Alam Indah isn’t a shiny, modern resort, and that is exactly why I love it. It has history, character and a soul. A place where you can come back to yourself, feel close to nature and simply be. Third visit, and definitely not our last. 🤍

I had such a lovely stay here and I would definitely return. Beautiful gardens. My room (coconut) was huge, bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed lying on the day bed with the jungle garden view. Staff were so helpful and the shuttle was so helpful getting around. Food was delicious. I enjoyed staying in the peaceful village, restaurants etc in a few minutes walk) in the jungle feel by the monkey forest. The on demand shuttle was so useful and meant I could have a peaceful location and easy access to town centre

Not issues for me but worth knowing. You are in a jungle garden right by the monkey forest so yes there are monkeys and insects. It is a little bit of a walk into ubud, past the monkeys) and if a car is available they will shuttle you around the town centre with minimal notice by text. I used this several times. Though the ubud traffic can make any car journey slower.

Everything GREAT. But nothing beats swim in the pool at sunset.

Notre chambre était incroyable. La vue sur la jungle est spectaculaire. La piscine était très agréable. L’hôtel est au calme. Il y a des restaurants et des boutiques tout autour. Navette pour se déplacer. 6h30 le matin, tous les singes se lèvent et traversent le pont près de la piscine.

Les bruits la nuits même avec bouchons d’oreilles, on entend tout ce qui se passe dehors. Les singes viennent à la piscine mais le Personnel surveille.

La camera veniva pulita ogni giorno, ma tutto sommato un po' troppo sommariamente, gli ambienti sono un po' datati, andrebbero un attimo risistemati

Tolle Lage direkt hinter dem Monkey Forest, Affen kann man super vom Balkon aus be ok beobachten. Ein wirklich tolles Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Fahrer und Touren können direkt problemlos vor Ort organisiert werden.

Eigentlich nichts - nicht zögern, einfach buchen, mit dieser Unterkunft macht man ganz sicher nichts falsch 😀

The property is really nice located right at the monkey forest overlooking some amazing nature but you also have shops and restaurants etc right around the corner so we did not miss anything but still could rest in the nature when we wanted. The staff was extremely friendly and we felt amazingly welcomed and taken care of. We also had every day another nice conversation with them. The city center is also well accessible by walking but the free shuttle when available was definitely a big benefit as well. Lastly the whole area of the hotel looked amazing and well blended into nature. We will definitely come back when we are in Bali again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and very well maintained, but what truly makes this place special is the wonderful garden! Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. You can really feel that the staff genuinely care about their guests. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything was taken care of with such professionalism and attention to detail. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place with exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Also the breakfast was amazing and several oppurtinity for gastro and travel experience is provided! TOP! The center of Ubud is only 10 min walk through the Monkey Forest free pass, that is also a special moment! :D If I travel again, I won't choose any other stay but only the Alam Indah!

It was calm and peaceful and the staff was above excellent. The breakfast was wonderful in the room was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful! The shuttle service was perfect.

Some things were looking a little worn, like the tub and the pool.

The hotel is a real hidden gem, stunning location and very peaceful and tranquil (apart from the pesky monkeys). There was a free shuttled into Ubud which was a lovely touch and needed due to the Monkey Forest.

Hotel is down a fairly steep driveway which is not ideal to walk down and yes the monkeys are intimidating (especially if you have a bag). If being critical the breakfast could be better.

The location was superb close like 3 minutes walkt to monkey forest and fantastic eatery restaurants tranquil location felt like being around a rainforest with monkeys all around staff were the best so friendly nothing a problem so professional and friendly this was the best feel good relaxed accommodation my wife’s and I have experienced Genuinely a gem and words can’t describe how amazing this place was. The pool was so peaceful and tranquil with the odd monkey making a visit Alam Indah was one out of a box. Absolutely a feel good respite

We delighted in the calm, relaxed vibe which was a welcome respite from the Ubud congestion. Whilst the hotel offers a free shuttle service to central Ubud it’s a quick 10 min walk and the locale is less frenetic with a variety of dining and coffee shop options along the street. The tropical garden setting for the private, individual units enhanced our feeling of relaxation. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The hotel sells goods made by Indonesian women at fixed, competitive prices.

Breakfast was prepared as per our request. They are located right in the heart of forest which made the stay memorable. They have pick up service in case you get late at night until 9pm. The locality is very quiet and gives village vibes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There were some parts about this hotel that was really amazing: the garden, the breakfast and the service. It was like living in a botanical forest with all the flowers, trees and the monkeys, absolutely beautiful. The service was also very good and the breakfast was amazing, it felt like eating breakfast in a temple.

But the rooms, especially the bathroom was maybe not what I had hoped for. The bathroom felt quite outdated and very humid, I understand it's is in the djungel but I belive it still could have an other standard.

Un havre de paix dans la ville tumultueuse d'ubud. Les villas sont disposées au calme dans un jardin luxuriant avec une magnifique piscine. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et l'équipe adorable. Le service de shuttle est appréciable. Le bâtiment est situé à la lisière de la forêt des singes, le vrai plus, c'est de voir les singes se balader dans le jardin depuis son lit 😉

Nothing really. We knew it was away from the busier side of Ubud and it was a bit of a walk with a few steps and inclines, but needed the exercise after all the good food.

Magical setting and beautiful rooms with lovely space and day beds. Luxurious breakfast and extremely good staff. They strove to meet our every need!

During my 2 months trip to Bali this was the best experiences and highlight of my journey! Wonderful cottages. All the facility is like a secret garden so I felt like living a fairytale! Staff is beyond amazing, breakfast delicious. Monkeys just across the road are so sweet. It was magical experience. The pictures of the hotel don’t show how extraordinary this place is.

We stayed in May 2026. Our stay at Alam Indah Ubud was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. We originally planned to stay for just 3 days, but loved it so much that we extended to 7 days — and still didn't want to leave. The hotel is located in a lovely village just outside Ubud — the perfect location. You get all the peace of the surrounding jungle while still being close to the centre, just a 10–15 minute walk through the Monkey Forest. The hotel feels like a natural extension of the forest. The gardens are stunning — lush, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of wildlife. Waking up there each morning felt magical. Although officially 2-star, it does not feel like one at all. It feels timeless, authentic, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Everything was exceptionally clean, and every part of the property feels like a genuine Balinese experience rather than a generic tourist hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless, and full of authentic Balinese charm. The staff were exceptional: warm, kind, attentive, and always happy to help. The hotel's shuttle service into Ubud was incredibly handy for shopping, dinners, and exploring. The surrounding village also has fantastic bars and top-class restaurants nearby, and Kememai Laundry just a 5-minute walk away was a real convenience during a longer stay. Alam Indah offers the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and authentic Balinese atmosphere. If you're visiting Ubud and want somewhere peaceful, beautiful, and memorable, I cannot recommend it highly enough

Мне очень понравилось местоположение отеля, рядом с лесом обезьян, я получала огромное наслаждение каждый день, когда наблюдала этих милых животных, когда они приходили в отель, или бегали рядом с территорией. На территории очень тихо и спокойно, но совсем рядом расположены улицы на которых много кафе, сувенирных магазинов, недалеко расположен музей. Понравился роскошной ухоженный тропический сад, комфортные большие комнаты, большие ванные комнаты на открытом воздухе, очень большой балкон! В номерах очень чисто. Вкусные и разнообразные завтраки. Все служащие отели были очень милы и дружелюбны. Весь день из отеля в центр Убуда ездит Шаттл, бесплатно.

Не понравилось отсутствие вновь сейфа и холодильника. Я очень люблю фрукты, а в жаре они быстро портятся. Также в номере не было фена и чайника, но по моей просьбе работники отеля мне их принесли, за что вам огромное спасибо.

Прекрасный отель на границе обезьяньего леса. Если подняться в гору минут 5, то будет приятная улица, на которой множество магазинов, ресторанов, спа. Особенно понравились испанский ресторан Pescado и французский Le Contina. Если пройти еще минут 10 по короткому маршруту вдоль леса, то попадешь на саму Monkey Forest street и там вообще миллион всего. Сам отель утопает в зелени, есть видовой бассейн, из которого вид на обезьян в лесу, они, кстати и к бассейну попить приходят. Также в отеле замечательные завтраки. Нам помогли организовать тур на ATV и рафтинг - отличное развлечение. Мы прожили в отеле 5 ночей, но запросто можно и пару недель. Отличное место! Рекомендуем!

J ai retrouvé une grosse bête dans notre lit , être au milieu la nature certes mais avec des portes , des pièces qui se ferment pr éviter cette angoisse..

Le spa qui était excentré du complexe , on nous emmène en voiture , les salle de bains , ouverts de partout je me suis retrouvé nez à nez avec la tête d un lezard passé travers , mais j n y voyais uniquement que sa tête, j ai cru a un serpent 🐍.. j ai hurlé..tt est ouvert

Staff was wonderful. Food very good. Shuttle van into Ubud central was very helpful everyday. But we could still walk places, too. We also liked the local village and being near the monkey forest. Liked the nature surrounding us and the animals, a real sanctuary for us.

Bathrooms and rooms a little dated, Good for walking in daytime but a bit far for walking at night. We did walk through the path by the monkey park in the dark of night but we're lucky to have a good head torch. The croacking frog was novel on night one but thereafter a pain as it croacked loudly past 11pm..

My room was simply amazing. The view was incredible and you felt like you were in the clouds overlooking the river valley and jungle. The pool was great, food was great, free shuttle, privacy, comfort, and class.

A tad bit dated but I kind of like that. I prefer old school Bali to "modern" Bali.

This place is very special,we felt so loved and cared for,like family ,with a spiritual energy of kindness and love ,we we felt like honoured guests,Truely The people were extremely kind and helpful in every way ,the room was like a palace,beautiful pool,it is quiet and next to the jungle and nature. Some noisy construction started next door and they kindly gave us a better room without us asking.

La chambre était sale (un short du client précédent retrouvé derrière un coffre, des cheveux dans la baignoire, les moustiquaires des lits étaient remplis de poussières ) Après 4 jours, il y avait du moisi sur les lustres, le carrelage, les murs Il y a un vrai problème d’humidité dans cet hôtel !! Attention aux asthmatiques et aux allergiques : Ma fille a eu une crise d’asthme et mon compagnon, de l’allergie

The place is magic! Surrounded by nature! So peaceful and wonderful. Our room was facing a pond with lotus flowers, birds and butterflies around, quiet and peace. I felt that I could be there for a long time to reset and recharge. Close to Ubud Center by motorbike.

Wonderfull staff, they did everything we asked for and more. It was like being in a real adventure almost in the monkey forrest. The only thing you have to watch out for is the stealing monkeys. Nice food in the hotel and restaurants in a walking distance.

Открытые бунгало, где вы слышите все ночные звуки животного мира. Персонал очень внимательный к вашим запросам. Есть послеобеденный чай с местными десертами - пудинг из риса и бананов. Вообщем, если вы приехали на Бали что б отдохнуть от цивилизации, вам сюда!!! Завтрак очень вкусный!

Если вы не хотите получить опыт единения с природой, то учтите все же, что этот отель очень аутентичен, здесь царит дух нирваны, погружаетесь в индуизм

Location overlooking the jungle valley was beautiful. The gardens and buildings are really beautiful, old Balinese style. The monkeys that visited were an amusement. Staying in Nyuh Kuning village.

The environment and setting was BEAUTIFUL. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and our room was spotless. Would totally stay there again! They also arranged our shuttle.

I would have preferred bottled water in the room rather than a refilled canister, just to ensure the quality for overseas travellers.

Immersa nella natura vicina alla Monkey Foresta, ideale se si cerca un luogo tranquillo. Gli unici rumori sono della natura e per quelli di notte sono consigliati i tappi se si è sensibili, fuori dalla ns stanza probabilmente dei rospi sugli alberi si sentivano molto forti

I servizi inclusi, spa, vasca idromassaggio ecc non sono in struttura ma a 5 minuti a piedi. Non c era la zanzariera in camera ma in effetti non abbiamo avuto problemi con insetti.

Wir hatten einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt - eigentlich ist es eine 12 von 10!! Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wunderschönen tropischen Garten direkt am Affenwald. Zum Zentrum von Ubud mit vielen Shops, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Cafés und Restaurants sind es nur einige Gehminuten. Aber auch in dem aufstrebenden Viertel, in dem die Unterkunft liegt, gibt es sehr gute Restaurants und schöne Shops. Das Personal von Alam Indah ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Ich bekam sogar Blumen und einen Kuchen zum Geburtstag, alles wunderschön :-) Außerdem ermöglichten sie uns einen Late Check Out bei der Abreise - 1000 Dank nochmal für alles, liebes Team!! Die Zimmer sind wunscherschön und großzügig, alles ist sehr sauber! Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, Dinge abzulegen oder Kleidung aufzuhängen. Von unserem riesigen Balkon hatten wir einen wundervollen Blick in den schönen Garten. Abends saßen wir dort und haben den Zikaden und Fröschlein gelauscht. Auch beim Frühstück (vielseitig und lecker!) sitzt man auf der Terrasse quasi mitten im Garten und genießt die Natur. Der Hotelpool ist ebenso in die tropische Landschaft eingebettet, so dass wir das Gefühl hatten, mitten in der Natur zu schwimmen. Ab und zu konnte man Affen sehen, aber sie wurden nie lästig, dafür sorgt das Hotelpersonal. Wir haben es sehr genossen, nach unseren Tagen voller Aktivitäten im trubeligen Ubud abends wieder in diese wunderschöne Oase der Ruhe zurückzukehren. Danke, es war der perfekte Urlaubs-Abschluss :-)
