The room was beautiful but the bed was far to soft

Someone opened our door this morning it was a male and didn't even knock.

Location was perfect! Everywhere we needed to go was within a 5 minute walk. Host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Fridge with cold bottled water in the corridor was a bonus.

Property was really clean with all facilities

We didn’t have any dislikes

Great location Free selection of hot drinks and water and a large mug! Fresh towels and more toiletries provided during our stay Very helpful owners who let us keep our bags in the hallway after checkout 😀

Great location, a stones throw away from the beach and lots of cafe's, restaurants and bars nearby. Large room with a comfortable bed. Complimentary water and tea coffee was a great bonus.

Parking is not free as led to believe in the listing. My booking says parking is included, which I stated to the owner but they weren't forthcoming to discuss. Only upon check out did the owner share parking is £10 per night. Have checked my messages and the £10 was highlighted when I reached out to owner to arrange key drop on my last night. Yes there is information in the room about charges, but again, as my booking information said parking was included, I didn't think this applied to my reservation.

Fantastic location in the heart of Broadstairs. Great facilities, comfortable bed and lovely waterfall shower. John the host was super quick to respond to questions.

The only small window in our room was fully frosted, it was strange to be so disconnected from the outside when you’re in such a beautiful setting.

The location was great. Clean tidy and really liked the coffee from the machine.

It was very hot in the corridor. And in the middle of the night in the room so had to get up and put air con on. Would of been nice to have bigger towels and a dressing gown. And a few more toiletries.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und sauberes modernes Zimmer. Wir konnten unsere Motorräder auf dem eingezäunten Grundstück parken. Ein sehr lieber Hund war auch vor Ort der das Haus und die bikes bewacht hat.

Super emplacement au cœur de Broadstairs avec parking et boîte à clé. Pas de personnel. Échange efficace avec le propriétaire par message . Pas de salle de petit déjeuner ou de salon . Que les chambres et une petite terrasse avec une table .

Justement qu’il n’y ait pas d’espace commun pour se retrouver ou attendre les amis, ou lire.. heureusement il faisait beau et avons pu nous mettre sur la terrasse.

The room was clean, big, decorated brilliantly and had air con which was amazing in this heatwave. You had coffee in your room you could make when you woke up by yourself and had little shower gels, shampoos etc to use. It was also a 2 min walk to the sea front so close to everything.

Couldn’t work out how to get the water to run away in the sink. Free parking on site would have been nice. Didn’t see from booking.com that we had to pay for parking.

The room has been changed without informing me in advance, so basically, I booked room4. When I arrived there, the property manager changed my room to room 3 without telling me

Lovely room with quirky furniture, comfortable bed and great bathroom plus very efficient air con which was very welcome in the heat

Lack of contact with the hosts, paying for parking and having to request a room clean, clean towels etc

Room and location was nice, however, the shower was not working, scolding hot water, unable to turn down, due to apparently thermostat broken, during a heat wave, this was a nightmare and a health risk as we could have gone under the scolding hot water, had we known before hand, we probably wouldn't have booked or paid full price.

The Booking.com listing makes it look like you geta free parking space. this is not the case, it costs £10 per day!

Very clean and tidy, coffee and tea machine and water available at all times, close to amenities and a very short walk to the promenade. John and Julie are very helpful courteous and polite and are always on hand to answer any questions you have to enjoy your stay that much more.

Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, lovely decor and large comfortable bed. Toiletries in the bathroom, great shower and lovely towels and linen. Tea and coffee in room with additional supplies and a free coffee machine in the communal hall. Really five star facilities in an excellant location.

Parking was an issue when we arrived as the car park was full, mainly due to others not parking correctly. There is also a charge of £10 per day. We do know the area and we found free street parking a short hop away but I know this is an issue in the main part of town at busy times.

Great decor and furnishings, very clean and in the centre of town. The underfloor heating in the bathroom and added floor lights were appreciated. The coffee machine in the lobby was an added bonus. We paid for the parking on site and that was a great help.

Lovely property, right in the heart of Broadstairs, loved the tasteful interior design and quirkiness. Our room was like a cocoon, comfortable, immaculately clean , with tea & coffee making facilities . Handy Carpark available !

The decor in the room was fab! The children LOVED the bunk beds in the family room. We were spoilt for choice with where to eat as everything was a stone's throw from the hotel. The communication from the owners was great too.

Absolutely nothing else would have made it better. Also, we got there much earlier. We rang up the owner and no trouble at all. Didn't mind a bit - the room was already made - and the lovely thing is we were able to leave the car there till the following day - just for £10. Parking in Broadstairs is not very easy and VERY expensive.

Perfect location to explore the area!.... Unique rooms, designed perfectly 👌 Free bottles of water in the fridge in the hall along with coffee maker is a great touch. We will definitely use this Perfect little find in the future.

Beautifully decorated to a high spec. Very comfortable. Great location. Enjoyed my hot chocolate at the end of each night, hot drinks machine in the foyer is a lovely touch.

It was great! Didn’t know what to expect but it was so lovely, modern, very comfortable bed, lovely brand new and fancy en-suite with underfloor heating, easy access. And the parking was a big factor in our selection. Really fab.

It would be tougher for a longer stay as there was no fridge in-room or ability to store real fresh milk for nice coffee. The free coffee machine in the hall was a lovely touch but if there was a fresh milk in that fridge we would have been thrilled.

Very nice and cosy room, well decorated with beautiful furniture. Well located, only a couple of blocks from the seaside, many restaurants and bars nearby.

very classily decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and I'm fussy about my pillows! We were on the ground floor with full windows so it was lovely and bright yet private and quiet at night. One of the best small hotel/BnB's I've stayed in. Will definitely stay again when we're down there. The location was just off the High Street so all very walkable. And there was a free parking area on the forecourt just outside our window. Perfect.

The location of Rooms at Number One is perfect, you can almost see the sea! The fact that there’s parking is a huge factor for me. The room was beautiful. The bed really comfortable. Lovely coffee machine in the hallway to enjoy. Realised when looking at the pictures that there’s huge amounts of natural light and the curtains might not block out the morning light so I took an eye mask - job done. Perfect. We didn’t take up the breakfast box offer as there’s loads of eateries nearby but if you did there’s plenty of seating to eat at. Would not hesitate to book here again.

Shower was a bit tricky to get the temp right. Ended up a bit hot. There might well have been instructions in the book but we were just very quick in there which saves water anyway 😜

Kettle was in the room plus coffee machine in the hallway. Host has sent us instructions how to get in even before the check in time. We liked the location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.
