Good location, very close to where we needed to be

This is a very poor excuse for a hotel managed by young ladies who cannot speak English and have not been taught the basics of what they need to do. There is black mould growing on the inside of the windows and the entire building is in a very poor state of repair. The room was very very small with no space around one side of the bed and only 1.5m on the other side. The TV, which is surely the smallest ever in a hotel, was placed on the top of a cupboard and had no remote. When we encountered problems with no hot water we called the number at reception (no receptionist) and were told that there was nothing that could be done because it was the weekend. Tried to call Daisy, the manager, but she did not answer her phone or reply to my message left on her voicemail. In the end we had no option but to abandon the booking and find somewhere else to stay.

Nice little apartment in good area, close to holland park.little patio area at the back to chill out in or have a cigarette! Had everything i needed for a short break with microwave and fridge.

Location was perfect for the price, rooms were clean and check-in was easy.

Inizialmente ci è stata assegnata una stanza sbagliata molto piu piccola, ma la proprietaria ha poi risolto. Perciò occhio!

J’ai choisi cet hôtel après avoir longuement cherché un établissement proposant un service de bagagerie, qui était un critère important pour nous. À notre arrivée, nous découvrons qu’il s’agit simplement d’un placard fourre-tout, avec une inscription précisant que les affaires y sont déposées à nos risques et périls. On ne peut clairement pas appeler cela un véritable service de bagagerie lorsque les bagages ne sont pas sécurisés ! Cette mauvaise surprise nous a fait perdre beaucoup de temps dans notre programme et nous avons dû dépenser près de 20 € dans une vraie consigne située à environ 1 km de l’hôtel. La salle de bain était également très décevante : pommeau de douche qui fuit de partout, eau qui s’évacue mal, beaucoup de calcaire sur la douche et le robinet, donnant une impression de manque d’entretien. Il n’y avait pas de tapis de douche, donc sol trempé et glissant en sortant, ni de rideau occultant. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel en fonction des services annoncés et nous avons été très déçus. Rien que pour le faux service de bagagerie, cet hôtel ne mérite à mes yeux rien de plus qu’une étoile.

It was a TERRIBLE smell in the bathroom, I reported the first day that we arrived they did nothing. The hot water comes and goes without explanation, also reported, did nothing again… truly poor customer service to be honest.

Easy walk to West Kensington station, staff were great at communicating over message for my later check in, and the check in process was flawless. Wifi was also fast and easy to find password

It’s a small room but comfortable for one person, not for 2. The tv didn’t work in the room and it was quite hot being the top floor, there was a heater in the room but no fan which would’ve been great.

I went to a concert and the hotel was close to the venue so that was convenient. No elevator in the building just keep that in mind in case you have heavy luggage. Room was clean and good for one night

Megérkezéskor levettük a cipőt és mezítláb szerettünk volna lenni, de olyan kosz volt, hogy embertelen. Egy asztali ventillátor volt, de az sem működött tökéletesen. A tányérok, bögrék ragadtak a kosztól.

We couldn’t find our room. It was outside. We went right through the downstairs out the back door to a back room separate from the rest. Because of this we were unable to use WiFi and the tv had no signal. The room didn’t feel secure and was quite tiny. There was a microwave, fridge and some stick packs of coffee with one mug. The shower was also tiny with a cloak sink and toilet. The sink not fit for purpose and paint peeling from the ceiling.

The hotel was amazing, all my requests were met prior to my arrival. The staff was friendly and supported me with all guidlines for my check-in. The room was clean with the necessary amenities for my stay.

Few things that would be nice to improve the greats ervice you have at the Matheson Hotel: - Distinctive name at the entrace to know that it is an actual hotel and not a random house. -Allow to check-out by 11am as 10am is too early for check-out or at least give extra flexibility. -Fix the TV signal as it was not working during my entire stay.

Handy little room with fridge, microwave and food prep counter. We went to a nice Indian restaurant around the corner for dinner.

Nothing much to not like. It is what it is. You get what you pay for. Room was small, but we expected this. A fan would have been nice for this hot weather but again we knew there wouldn’t be one so can’t really complain.

Está bien comunicado con el resto de Londres y en un barrio tranquilo. Hay varios supermercados y comercios cerca. En general es bastante silencioso.

Encontramos una araña y a su hija caminando por el techo y la pared de la habitación. Ademas, el alojamiento solo facilitó una taza cuando íbamos dos huéspedes.

La ubicación y el barrio. Hay super cerca y el barrio es tranquilo. Tiene la parada del metro a 5 min caminando.

La habitación no está limpia, las tuberías huelen muy mal, la TV no funciona, no tiene microondas, ni nevera, la ducha pierde agua y el agua caliente no funciona siempre y la fuerza del agua es inexistente, no hay ni una silla en la habitación para poder sentarte a comer o poder poner el ventilador y que te dé el aire para poder dormir, porque hace un calor exagerado... Además hay una claraboya que está tapada con unos cartones, para evitar que pase la luz y el calor, pero pasa muchísima luz y muchísimo calor. Tuvimos un problema con la llave y aunq pasaron 3h hasta que nos dieron solución, nos lo solucionaron. Les dijimos algunas cosas del estado de la habitación y nos dijeron que ya nos darían solución, pero no lo hicieron. En resumen, está muy descuidado...

The hotel was in a good location for our short stay in London. Comfy bed.

Grubby bathroom, tiny shower with terrible water pressure - was either too hot or too cold. Chrome fittings and sealant around shower dirty. No air con so very hot on our arrival. Fortunately the evening was quite cool so slept ok.

The Worst hotel anywhere in the world..Facilities were over claimed and booking.com has done no independent review to check for authenticity. The room was so narrow that only a person could squueze in The bathroom was too suffocatingsmall you could barely squueze and squieze out There was no mention of no lifts to go three floors through the narrowewtbof staircases I had to leave nynluggae on the found floor ame climb down to fetch clothes and toiletries. I felt like being cjeatee and I hold booking.com for allowing these falsehoods of properties. MOST IMPORTANT LY there is no signnor logo of the property anywhere no letter head no cars. When I nocked on the door and asked the named of the hotel. onenlady nodded. This is highly suspicious and odd

It was in a quiet location but close to amenities and the underground connections

The property didn’t have adequate cooling for the time of year the temperatures that the city was reached my this month. I also had to ask for fresh towels as no one came in to attend or clean our room in the 4 nights we stayed.

I was not advised there were 4 flights of narrow twisting stairs. A guest had to help me carry my bag up to the very top. At 73, two flights of stairs is all I care to navigate. The bathroom was horrible - the shower door is broken and listing at an angle. The bathroom smelled awful. I immediately found lodging elsewhere (using hotels.com), left my key card 67 on the bed, and arranged for an uber. I understand I'll forfeit what I paid for two nights. Seriously, that bathroom should be reported to health authorities.

Isn't actually a hotel, its a house with multiple occupants, no staff anywhere, our room keys were left in a envelope on the side. My room was up 5 flights of stairs in the roof, very odd with a shower directly at the end of the bed. Strong smell of cannabis when we arrived back after the first evening, people shouting and doors banging into the early hours, other than the card to open your door you dont have anything the other side like a chain to feel secure, felt like someone was going to walk in Booked for 2 nights, left after 1.

Location for where I needed to be was good. Microwave, kettle and fridge in the room is very handy. Also some Biscoff biscuits, sachets of milk and coffee also a nice touch.

TV on top is the wardrobe is not helpful as you cannot see the screen properly. No lamp by the bed. Only full overhead lights in the room. Looks tired and needs upgrading.

Unfortunately, our room was very uncomfortable last night. It was extremely hot, the fan was not working properly, and there was very little airflow. We hardly slept at all.

The sewage smell from bathroom in room 65. No mattress or pillow protectors. Filthy shower that didn’t work well and turned off sometimes. Also could hear every word from neighbours.

Location, good restaurants, pubs and great breakfasts are just a couple of minutes away. West Kenington station is 3 minutes walk.

It was a nightmare trying to sleep. Room temperature beyond 32 degrees on the 4th floor, no AC, just a small fan. The smell coming from the toilet was awful.

We liked the location as it was only a few minutes to the Lost Estates venue.

Upon arrival, the hotel doesn't show the name only the number of the property. We weren't initially sure it was the right house. Personally I would have preferred a blind or net curtains, as the front bedroom we had was directly opposite windows on the other side. There was a fridge in our room which was great for the water we bought due to the hot weather. A microwave, kettle and facilities for coffee and tea were great. There was a TV in our room. The shower was good with available shower gel and towels were provided. All in all great for what we needed. Thank you.

Die Lage in einer ruhigen Nebenstrasse war gut und die Entfernung zur U-Bahn problemlos. Ohne Probleme war das späte Einchecken um 22.00 Uhr möglich.

Der Name Olympia Hotel ist absolut irreführend! In einem typischen Reihenhaus wurden die Zimmer nachträglich halbiert und somit extrem klein. Mit einem 1,40m Bett und einem 40cm breitem Hochschrank möbeliert. Ausserdem standen ein kleiner Kühlschrank (60cm hoch) mit einer Mikrowelle darauf im schmalen Gang. Das Bad war in einer Art Wandschrank, Größe akzeptabel, aber speziell die Dusche nicht sehr sauber! Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, da gerade bei höheren Temperaturen ein Brutofen und schlecht zu lüften!

The price for the location was very reasonable,the check in/out was very quick and straightforward.there was a hairdryer supplied,overall it was pretty clean.

The TV didn't work, it was very hot and no fan was supplied.. the drains were quite smelly,so the bathroom door needed to be left shut so it didn't fill the whole room.the shower was broken,the hose didn't attach to the head properly and in the morning the shower just went off completely mid shower.

It is not a hotel, more like a guest house managed from the distance, it does not have reception. Somehow it’s fun and feels like a mind game or scape room where you have to find the right phone number, room keys, etc.

I visited during the heatwave. Messaged the property a week before to see if they had air con and was told that they didn't but they confirmed I would have a fan in my room. I arrived and there was no fan in the room. I messaged the receptionist (no actual front desk in property) to say there was no fan and went to a concert (the reason I was in london) expecting it to be in my room when I returned. I came back to a message saying they had no fans and I was told to open a window. I was on the bottom floor and my window was exposed to the walkway to the outside area so no privacy. I absolutely roasted in that room, no sleep and it ruined everything I had planned for the next day in London as I was so tired. Long story short, even if you confirm something with the hotel in advance don't expect it to be there and the staff won't help you either.

I was surprisingly very happy with the room. It was very cheap (£129 for two nights at the end of June), so I thought it would be a really bad place to stay at, but actually, yes, it was small and not very modern, but it was sufficiently large for myself and had everything that I needed. I would stay there again for a similar price. They also always replied to my messages in a timely manner.

Okay, maybe it wasn't super quiet - in my room, the flush was constantly making noises, but that didn't keep me awake or anything like that. Of course, there was no air condition which was quite tough in the London heatwave, but it's understandable for the price I paid. I had to message them a couple of times because I needed a late check-in and they had asked me to send a copy of my ID to an email address which didn't work, but then they said that they wouldn't need it anymore. That was maybe a bit weird and didn't give me a lot of confidence, but in the end, like I said, I was pleasantly surprised by the room itself. When I arrived, however, they hadn't swapped my room card for a key which I needed to access my room, so I had to call the late-night staff to swap it for me. But fortunately, that worked out all right and I needed no further assistance. I was always in and out of the room, so I never saw any of the other staff members or stayed around for long.

There was grime in the shower. The shower was either far too hot or freezing cold. It also didn't drain until you were out of the shower. The walls were thin, you could hear constant banging of doors, the lights flickering, and the tvand fan didn't work. The headboard fell down on one side. Overall a really poor stay.

Terrible, terrible experience. The hotel has not got A/C, and when I asked if they could provide fans in the rooms when I arrived there, they told me they asked the maintenance but they didn’t provide still. During an heatwave, They couldn’t supply us with fans. But that’s not even the worst part. I arrive there, after asking for a room in the lower part of the hotel bc my mum couldn’t walk properly, they give me the room in the highest floor (there’s no lift and steps are very narrow). When I badge into the room, I find another person in there, who was gonna check out on the same day as me. They put different people in the same room. I started calling and calling the numbers on here, nobody answered… then they told me these are the old numbers. And nobody changed them. In the end, finally somebody came, and they couldn’t find another accomodation until they tried to give me smaller rooms than I booked, and in the end, due to the heavy heat and tiredness, we gave up and accepted a room on street level, with no air (the window opened just for 10 cm) and with no space for two people at all. Maybe not even one. I won’t recommend this “hotel” again on my worst enemy.

Es una habitación de una casa prácticamente, es bastante pequeña tiene un pasillo de un paso y la habitación con una cama y el baño como si estuviera dentro de un armario. Tiene todo lo necesario pero es bastante pequeño para moverse. Tiene microondas, nevera y calefacción algo muy importante. Tiene cerca paradas de metros y bus.

O código da porta que nos foi dado para o check in estava errado, que fez com que tivéssemos que ficar imenso tempo à espera de alguém que nos ajudasse a entrar. Chegamos ao quarto, com reserva para duas pessoas e só tínhamos uma toalha de banho e uma pequena de cara. Pedimos uma nova, disseram que nos iam dar e isso não sucedeu

Security is lacking. I had a room on the ground floor and the window in my room could not be locked. Someone could easily open it from the outside and climb in! Room is also very small and difficult to place a large luggage case.

It was so convenient for me because I have a disability.My room was ground floor with easy access to the bathroom.Everything was so clean and there was a certain friendliness to the place.The tube station was a 5 minute walk away with handy shops close by,places to eat and a really good pub.
