Not alot really . Bath and sink were clean but the decor was very poor . There was a cotton pad and a bit of paper left behind the door , cob webs on the window with a spider .

The room was a good size however could do with a bit of paint curtains had stains on them pillows were very soft an dirty an found some sweets on the floor by bed obviously from previous people. Paid £12 per person for breakfast which was full English for 2 mornings however on second morning had no record of us having breakfast so we settled for coffee an toast

Surprisingly good, we were worried about the potential of noise from the bar but it wasn’t noisy at all

Wasn't able to eat at the hotel restaurant as they had no available bookings . No fridge in the room . Old sash windows rattle when wind blows.

It had fully stocked amenities, the bed was super soft, the bathroom actually had a bath not just a shower.

My partner and I went to an event during the day and the way we had to enter through the back door luckily I had my partner with me as I am female.

Convenient location especially for Le Shuttle.

Stairs and hallways dark and dingy. Jukebox in the bar could be heard in our room, very loud.

Shower in twin room didn’t work and the sink drain in triple room was a bit blocked and smelly.

We got a parking space, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a large size and plenty of towels etc and the shower was hot and of a great pressure. A good stay for us as it was for just one night and the location was brilliant to walk through the park and onto the seafront plus on the high street so some small shops and pubs if we needed anything. Also liked the fact the rooms had a code lock rather than a key that could be lost - great idea. The staff were very friendly and couldn't help us enough so extremely happy with our stay. The breakfast we paid for on top and was good value and well cooked full english breakfast.

The mattress was not very comfortable, the bed was out of alignment where it was put together and the pillows were very cheap and flat. Also a menu at breakfast might have been good so if we just wanted cereal we could have had it rather than it just being a full english - although on saying that it was lovely, well cooked and great value.

Car park spaces were limited abd tight but staff helped guide me in. Didnt like the steep slopes up and down to get to the inn via car. But did not stop us from enjoying our stay.

The room was dirty cobwebs everywhere the shower didn't work properly. The sink was broken and blocked and generally the room was dirty.

not a particularly tasty breakfast (under cooked) no real choice & expensive (£12.00). Room needed to be updated, thought it was pricy for what we got.

The hotel is very very dated. Drab rooms needing decoration. The bathroom sink had a big crack in it and didn’t drain the water and the bath could only be used if you sat with your foot on the plug to hold it in. Carpet frayed, cracks in the walls. Room smelt of food maybe from the Indian restaurant next door. Such a shame because the location is perfect on the high street.

Everything to be honest. The whole place needs a complete makeover.

Es war insgesamt recht abgerockt, nichts, wo man den Abend verbringen möchte. Im Bad krasses Neonlicht, im Zimmer Linoleum Boden. Insgesamt das Zimmer ungemütlich.

The fact I paid for early check in but the room wasn’t ready. It was noisy. The room was basic and different to pictures. No hand soap. Mattress sloped on both sides. Sleeping experience very uncomfortable. I expected a LOT more for the price. Really disappointed.

Cant be helped so not a dislike just an awareness for other guests that parking is round the back of the pub so sat nav won't take you there. Pub itself is on a high street on a one way street.

Tolle saubere Unterkunft, alles da was man für eine Übernachtung braucht 😊. Super Gastgeber Grandioser uriger Pub und ne tolle Küche . Haben uns richtig Wohl gefühlt.

Stayed in rye room overlooking the car park. No privacy at all anyone coming into the car park had direct vision into the room.also outside was the beer cooler in the beer shed .which you could hear all night . So had to have the window closed so you couldn’t hear the noise . Which ment it was too hot in the room the fan that was provided didn’t work neither did the wifi . Didn’t help that we stayed during a heatwave

Freshly painted and clean, member of staff was nice and helpful, one person was registering guests and serving on the bar, helping with the baggage as well. We had blocked sink and broken shower same person came to help and temporarily fixed them. Overall good experience. The restaurant is situated in the bar a few tables and it is Indian restaurant with a few non Indian options we have ordered all the non Indian options from the menu but we had a tummy issue over night so we didn’t turn up for the breakfast that we prepaid

Hygiëne kon wat beter, maar de bedden en kamer waren schoon genoeg. De douche was niet echt een topper, duurde heel lang tot dat het water eindelijk een klein beetje warmer werd, maar dit mocht geen naam hebben.

Die Lage (Anschluss Fähre / Innenstadt) war zweckmäßig aber nicht weiterzuempfehlen!

Gesamtpaket nicht angenehm. Unsauber, Sanitärbereich sehr alt und modernisierungsbedürftig. Absolut in die Jahre gekommen das Gebäude und die Außenanlage. Bilder in der Anzeige zeigen nicht den wahren Zustand. Hätte ich nicht im Voraus bezahlt und es nicht spät gewesen wäre, wären wir weiter gefahren…. Die tote Kakerlake und die fremden Haare im Bett waren dann noch die Krönung.

Lage sehr schön in der Stadt mit diversen Restaurants in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstück im gegenüberliegenden Café. Leichtes Checkin-out, kleiner Parkplatz am Hotel. Mit geschlossenem Fenster konnte man gut schlafen, trotz vielem An- und Abreiseverkehr recht leise im Hotel. Bei geöffneten Fenster nervten die vielen, sehr lauten Möven auch in der Nacht. 🤷

Ich kannte das Hotel von außen aus früheren Besuchen in der Stadt. Es machte für mich einen guten Eindruck, auch historisch.

Der Zustand im inneren des Gebäudes. Hier ist alles renovierungsbedüftig. Der Blick auf den Hinterhof aus dem Zimmer ist nicht wirklich schön.

Room was pleasant, everything you needed except a little desk area. Beds clean and comfortable. A few details needed attention. Pleased with amount of sockets

Shower over the bath. Bath cracked. Glass shelf loose and toilet brush broken. Floor and shelves a bit dusty in the room. Curtains have a hole in them . Cover on light switch missing .

The manager was very friendly, helpful and informative, but not always available. The other staff were less so The room had everything we needed and was comfortable. Loved the location of the hotel, right in the lovely old High Street . TV good.

Car Park was very small and difficult to access. Steep steps down to hotel rear door . No lift available and rooms are all First Floor . One of our party struggled with the stairs. No reception area, bar staff had to book us in when they had time. Breakfast consisted of a Full English and nothing else. Staff member could not speak much English. All bedroom doors had a code to tap in to open them, not that easy!

Freeley / internet TV constantly dropping out. Some plug sockets didn’t work. Fixed shower head so low on wall, had to be a contortionist to use it. We didn’t know when we booked months ago, but unfortunately the England Ghana World Cup game was on the night we stayed (one overnight to get an early morning Euro train), so there were a number of inebriated ‘supporters’ giving their opinions until the early hours, outside the building. Nothing the Swan could influence, but made our sleep impossible, that combined with the extreme hot weather didn’t help. The pedestal fan in the room couldn’t cope.

The only issues we ran into, no access to a fridge/mini fridge. We were staying with 2 children under 2 and didn’t have anywhere to store our milk. The other was the manager decided to change the code to the door of the night entrance without letting us know (we were told by one of the housekeeping staff it had been changed). Luckily my wife was able to come down and open the door

To be fair this property was booked in error and I thought we would be staying at a better property down the road. I liked that there was free parking behind the hotel. I liked that the receptionist carried a heavy bag to our room.

I felt as if I was about to fall out of bed all night long. The shower cabin was cramped. There was loud music coming from the bar until quite late. There was a loud fan noise, from outside the room, all night long

I booked it on behalf of my elderly disabled grandparents. They said the beds were comfy and it was pretty central.

The man in the bar was useless. I helped my grandparents into the hotel, was going to help them take their stuff upstairs before they left as the are unable. The man insisted I leave and he said he would help them. He did not, they had to struggle alone. I didn’t expect him to help them as I was willing to but he made it clear he didn’t want me to and he would. My grandad can’t walk far and was forced to go out the back as they refuse to open the front door. His insulin was also out of the fridge the whole weekend as he said the staff weren’t helpful. The sink was also blocked. As a whole I was very disappointed about it however they did enjoy Hythe despite the rude staff.

It's a pub restaurant and hotel has a bar pool table. Rooms are clean and have tv and tea and coffee good location in Hythe.

The back of the hotel could do with a good clean and decorated they was alot of old mattresses and old furniture in the carpark which is not a good look on arrival. The breakfast was OK but not great the beans were dry and bacon was very fatty. The room was comfortable but the free veiw TV is very on and of, the shower is OK if your 4ft tall.

Breakfast was excellent the room was spacious, Free parking and friendly helpful staff. Good quality food. Located close to Hythe Beach.
