Drury Inn & Suites Huntsville Space & Rocket Center

We only had breakfast at the property. The breakfast was really good and served more items for breakfast than other hotels that have breakfast included that we have stayed at.

Not enough space for everyone to eat at, it was extremely crowded in the mornings. We understood an expansion is in process in the serving area and should be completed by the end of the year.

Well kept and clean.

We stayed at Drury by the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center 9/4-9/5 for business. The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful😀 The hot tub and pool was nice and relaxing. Breakfast and Dinner(chicken fajita night) was very good.😋 The staff was sooo nice, kept everything stocked and clean, very personable interacting with guests😍

Just a small thing, but didn't affect our stay. The bathroom floor could have been swept cleaned a little better. Also an empty box of Raisinets was left under the bathroom sink near the trash can.

First off there were fleas in our room. Check in took forever because nobody that was at the desk knew how to work the computer system. The pool was dirty and the hall going to the pool smelled like weed.

I loved everything‼️

There was nothing I didn’t like🥰

The area was nice, peaceful and a beautiful view.

Proximity to Rocket and Space center and ease of getting to the hotel

Meals were definitely a pleasant surprise. Also, enjoyed the "happy hour". Staff was courteous and helpful. Went out of the way to accommodate.

Fantastic free breakfast and dinner!

Breakfast was excellent 👌

0n one of the beds time for the mattress to be replaced.

Wow! Friendly staff greeted us, comfortable room, excellent amenities and the food choices were excellent!

Loved it. Staff was great. Love the kickback time. Really helps with afternoon stress relief with snack and complimentary drink.

No real isolated smoke area. Guest had to walk through area where 2 benches were to smoke.

It was spacious well decorated the room was spacious with a nice view and the amenities were wonderful! The staff were courteous

I don’t recall what search prompts I entered but it was not as close to A&M as I anticipated but it’s worth the drive

Clean, location is good

Food .

The best thing about the hotel was a combination of location and staff. I want to mention Renee, who took care of the food buffets. She was extremely pleasant and helpful, and did a great job keeping everything stocked. The general manager seem to be ever present and friendly. We will go back!

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, breakfast and diinner included. And happy hour!!!! My only complaint was that my room wasn't super clean. The carpets were stsined and looked somewhat dirty. The was toes nail clippings on the floor near the window. The bathroom tile felt greasy and not very clean. Otherwise the rest was pretty clean and the room and hotel are beautiful.

Great place

Dylan at the front desk was super helpful and kind in welcoming my family to Huntsville and in answering all of our questions. We received excellent service throughout our stay from our room (with a nice view of the space center) to the food, and and the amenities met all of our family’s needs.

Les équipements piscines intérieur et salle de sport

Le fait que c’était éloigné de tout et pas de facilités pour accéder au centre ville ou autres centres d’activités donc sans voiture c x uber à payer

Facility is very clean, friendly staff and nice selection of food for breakfast and dinner buffets!

Staff was friendly, meals were good, always love staying at Drury Inn

We were on the 2nd floor, 4 days, Monday - leaving Thursday July 30th. Best hotel stay Evvverrr. Food and Service + Drinks was Awesome. The room Service staff were Very Sweet every day. It was quite and clean everywhere. They were very accommodating and friendly. We met so many nice ppl inside and outside of the building. The beds were comfy and parking was good 😊❤️ we hated to leave. My 7 year old Great grand daughter really enjoyed herself, bc their was always children especially in the indoor pool. No Complaints ❤️🥰

Check in was great and fast, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The lobby was clean and decorated beautifully. We chose the hotel because of the rate and hot breakfast included. The room was clean and large and a single king bed. the bathroom was clean and large with a beautiful glass door shower. Shampoo, body wash all included on the wall. The hotel was fully booked and had a huge number of guests who were very loud and boisterous. I suspect a wedding was the event. These particular people were rude and loud and dominated the hotel the entire time, including the breakfast and seating area. This was the only negative thing we experienced while there, and we know it's not the hotel staff's responsibility. Honestly, I felt I was on a carnival cruise, and I never sail carnival, for that exact reason. The a/c was acting up but not extremely hot, and immediately the hotel lobby staff made it right as they could, even assigning us another room, when they couldn't have maint take a look at it, because it was the weekend. The food was basic breakfast items, but prepared nicely and appealing, the taste was basic, but when included in the price, I didn't mind. Each evening the bar was open for free drinks and food. The Pool was inside, and a large hot tub was available. My daughter and her husband just moved to Huntsville and so we were there to help them get settled in. We have decided that this will be our hotel when we come back to town.

Very clean and breakfast was ok .. I love the variety

Nothing

Grandeur de la chambre et propreté / offre restauration du soir

Everything was amazing

I loved everything

Location.

His hotel was top notch. Couldn’t be the location for the rocket center and very clean and updated. Pool was perfect for the kids and the free food and drinks really made this a perfect stay for our needs.

The staff was very friendly.

It was WAY to crowded. The wait for the elevators was over 5 minutes long and you was lucky to get on one. I had to take the stairs a few times and with a bad back that’s not ideal. You couldn’t get in the pool or hot tub because there was SO many people every where. You couldn’t hardly get to the food or drinks for so many people. It was not ideal for a quite getaway trip with my husband.

Convenience to Space center, friendly service, great price.

Breakfast and late afternoon food was really helpful for our schedule. The pool and spa were nice features also. All the staff were nice and cheerful.

Everything 10 stars across the board, especially their kind staff! Especially appreciate the free hot dinner and drinks every night. Most highly recommended! My family and I will surely look to stay at Drury Hotels here and in other cities in the future.

Check was easy and staff member very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately we don’t make it in time for the snack time but did take advantage of the breakfast which was good.

I had a large group and several rooms. The staff volunteered to work us all onto the same floor and helped with distributing room keys as my group arrived at different times. Excellent customer service.

Breakfast and the kickback meal was fantastic. Everything was beyond clean. Staff were super friendly. We will definitely stay at more Drury hotels. Amazing hotel experience for sure. Couldn’t have asked for a better view. Kids had a blast! Thanks!

Everything was AMAZING! No complaints.

Super friendly staff, dinner and breakfast was amazing. Clean rooms, clean facilities

The location, the room, the breakfast and dinner. All excellent, very good value for money and ideally located close to the space and rocket museum.

Cleanliness of Room It's just an ordinary room for High price because of location

I chose this hotel based on the raging reviews online. I can honestly say, they were all true. We had a pleasant stay, from our first encounter at check in, the ladies were friendly, helpful, accommodating & made us feel totally welcomed. I was expecting slightly more dated decor but was pleasantly surprised to find the design of the common areas and room were quite contemporary. Three adults comfortably shared a room with two queen beds. Bathroom was spacious, great lighting and very clean. Breakfast offered the standard variety .. coffee was 👍🏾. It was extremely busy during our stay but there's plenty of seating and food. Unfortunately we missed out on the evening's bonus meals but passing the dining area I could sense the "happy hour" vibe. Location great for touring, shopping & dining out. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Marcie at the desk is the sweetest person we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! If there was ever a personality type that everybody should be like...it would definately be her, we would ALL benefit from learning a thing or 2 about being friendly, hospitable & an all around good person from Marcie! I hope they know what a Gem they have with her! I left there with knowing I had a "sister from another mother" there if ever we decide to come back that way! ❤️

We loved everything about this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Drury Inn & Suites. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff took the time to have a genuine conversation with us, and when they learned we were in Huntsville to take my son to the Space & Rocket Center, they thoughtfully gave us a room facing the giant rocket. Being able to see it from our room meant so much because my son was beyond excited. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from the Space & Rocket Center. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the limited cable channel selection, and we would have appreciated access to streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

All Staffs were very kind and room was clean!!! Dinner was absolutely good 👍 I want to stay there some day again!!!!

Breakfast and dinner snacks were awesome. Staff was amazing. Hotel is kept clean. Comfortable beds

Everything

Location, it seems to be at the heart of everything! It’s near the airport; and many shopping, food and entertainment!

Cleanliness, very good front desk customer service

Even with what seemed like a full hotel, lots of families. It was quiet. Breakfast was good and lines moved smoothly with staff helping with any issues.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Steven at the front desk was so nice and welcoming when we checked in. The facility is nice and clean.

Nothing

Staff was exceptional, they made my stay an absolute pleasure. Kickback is phenomenal as it cuts the overall cost of travel travel and provides opportunities to connect with others. I've never stayed with Drury before but it is now at the top of my list for any destination.

The kick back was amazing. The staff was awesome.

We loved the entire experience

Easy to access and safe location

One elevator

Dinner, drink coupons, comfortable bed and ice machine on the same floor.

Children playing loudly in the hallway for a significant time after 8 PM. Being able to hear the guests thru the locked adjoining door.

The staff was exceptional!

I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed at any Drury Hotel location. Not only do they offer a wonderful breakfast, but also an evening snack complete with hotdogs and other hot foods. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and beautiful.

If I had to be picky, I would say the only thing that I would have liked was a better coffee maker in the rooms. Something such as a Keurig individual brewer. But there was always hot coffee downstairs so that is only a minor thing.

The food and adult beverages were amazing!! I have two teenagers and this trip was the vacation we all needed. Thanks!

Very clean , breakfast and dinner fantastic, everyone was friendly.

NA

The kick back and free alcohol.

We just got into our room and received a noise complaint even though you can hear kids running through the halls but we were blamed for it. Like we are literally in our room for less than 10 mins.

Nice and good location

Water pressure

Easy check-in. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Clean room. Great hotel.

Nothing.

This was a great stay. We came up to take our daughter to the space and rocket center and it is right across the interstate. Hotel was very clean rooms were modern breakfast was good with a selections of hot and cold foods and the 530 kickbacks was enough we ate them for our dinner. Daughter enjoyed the pool area which was very clean and popcorn and come products during the evening . Everything was great staff very friendly and accommodating.

Loved the free breakfast and dinner food. Great location

The indoor pool

Clean

Loved it so pleasent clean and just awesome great price not robbed

Breakfast was very good with a good selection

It took a while to check-in

It was a great location! Very clean and convenient! Amazing breakfast!

I love Drury for the breakfast and dinner with the drinks. So this was exactly what I expected. What I didn't expect was for Dylan to make my day and to put me and my family into a room with an awesome view of the Space Center. It was the last part of our first family vacation and it was the cherry on top. Thanks again for everything and if we come back we will be staying at this Drury again.

There were no complaints. I brought a dog with and they were accommodating. Everything was as expected from a top notch property.

I love the Drury inn chain in general but this Drury is exceptional. All the workers a friendly, caring and kind. They really seem to work as a team and care about their clients. Breakfast is great. And so is the evening round up. We stayed two nights. And it was really relaxing and convenient to get to the rocket center and AUH. Close to some sopping areas as well

The room

The breakfast

Everything was great. I can not say enough good things about the staff and the hotel. This is the only place I'll stay when visiting Huntsville.

Everything nice and clean

Very nice, great location, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good value.

No complaints, great place to stay.

Everything

If you want your room cleaned – you better be proactive and persistent with the front desk on the front end of your stay. I would have loved to leave a 5-star review and that’s honestly what I expected when I arrived. The hotel is furnished nicely, the front desk staff is friendly, the pool area is great, and the breakfast/kickback area is a nice size and serviced well. The real sour note in our visit, however, was housekeeping. On our second day, we left the hotel at 8:30am to head over to the U.S. Rocket & Space Center and did not return until after 5:00pm. We were incredibly disappointed to enter our room and realize that it has not been touched by housekeeping. Wet towels remained in a pile in the bathroom floor, beds had not been made, trash was in the trashcans, and the toilet needed cleaning. Our room was DIRECTLY BESIDE the housekeeping closet, and I had been awoken early that morning to them going in and out of the closet and allowing the door to shut loudly. Hearing them again late at night after we had gone to bed was a bit of “salt in the wound.” I immediately made my way to the front desk to inquire about it. They were surprised and puzzled that my room had not been touched and looked up my reservation and account to make sure that I had not opted out of housekeeping services in exchange for Drury Rewards points for each day of our stay. They confirmed I had not, and simply offered some fresh towels. They did NOT apologize for my inconvenience. They did NOT offer to have housekeeping come clean it right then. They did NOT offer for someone to come and at least pick up the wet dirty towels, even after I had asked where I could put them. They did NOT even offer to give me the reward points in my Drury account. Any of these would have been expected for quality trained customer service anywhere. When I checked out of the hotel, the person at the front desk did not ask me how my stay was or if I enjoyed my stay as I am typically accustomed to with Drury Inns. She simply said, “alright…you’re done.” Just really disappointing from what I am used to with this brand. I received a survey in my email after checking out and I shared this information and my dissatisfaction. I fully expected a manager to reach out and apologize and offer to remedy our inconveniences in some way. The only thing I got was a simple email from the Guest Services Supervisor that said “We sincerely regret that your experience fell short of expectations.” Bottom line…this hotel is a great location if you’re going to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, it has great amenities, and is a clean building. But if you value your room being cleaned, I suggest you be very proactive and persistent on the front end to make sure they don’t skip over you or choose another hotel in the area.

We stayed in a suite and we had a perfect view of the rockets. The room was very clean. The food was amazing

I always stay here when I’m in Huntsville. It’s the best there is!!! Never had a bad experience here.

This was a wonderful hotel and so close to the Space Center. The staff was super friendly and everything was clean & well maintained. We will be staying at Drury Inns from here on out as long as they are available at the location we are traveling to. I Highly recommend this place!
