The door was incredibly hard to find - there should have been clear instructions given how confusing it is. The wrong code was given. I phoned the 'host' and he was only able to tell me to go on the booking.com app. Very unhelpful.

I didn't like the way I was treated regarding my stay.as I didn't have photo I.d.they cancelled my booking and kept the money. Legalised theft.

Location was fantastic

Oven didn't work, neither did the grill. The rugs were filthy and needed replacing. The bathroom had some long hairs on the floor (we are all short hair) and there was also some poo marks in the toilet.

Dirty sofa! smelly place, (even after windows open and hour) uncomfortable mattress, tv didn't work, no wifi, iron dirty, door off dryer, no tea/coffee/sugar (as pictured) I left and booked the Leopold hotel.

Where do I begin! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The pictures are very misleading. The apartment was filthy and there was also an unpleasant odour. We left immediately and didn’t stay there. Have since requested a full refund but have been ignored. It is not worth the money at all do not book here!

Unclean apartment; crumbs everywhere, sticky kitchen floor, dining table mucky. Rubbish TV, poor shower facilities, no lift in property. Location meant we lost on two deliveries for food because they couldn’t find the place. Not comfortable for someone with a baby. Parking terrible and costed £16 a day! Would never stay there again.

The bell ringing!

Stayed for 6 nights. Was reasonably priced but had booked early. Well located next to the Catheral and heart of town and felt safe and secure. Good that it had a washing machine and dryer given length of stay. Bed comfy. Slept well . Good shower. Was in heatwave so appreciated the portable fan and fact had windows that opened - but still safe being on first .

A few small changes would lift this place up a notch. kitchen was v poorly equipped. We had hoped to self cater more. Hardly any pans, plates or glasses (one wine glass) and frying pan had no handle. Sofa is too small and uncomfortable.

Not much. I didnt get the apartment I booked. Very dark felt small and closed in. Very boring. No colour no pictures on the walls. No terrestrial tv again no batteries in the remote again The place needs a good good clean. Not sure what was on the inside of the windows but it's been there along time. You can't open the bedroom windows they've been wired shut. 3 big windows in the living room only one opens 6" joke no fans. Bottom of the windows have privacy glass. Makes it dark Don't plan making a meal in the kitchen Limited cooking utensils No toaster Kettle doesn't work No where to put open bottles in the fridge door.

I had to contact the property for checkin info and was told I had to pay the deposit and fill the ID info. ( someone answered the phone ) I had done this the day before. The earliest I could because they leave the finial booking to the last minute. I was then given the wrong code. On the 2nd call they didn't answer. I'm have to now online chat. Very frustrating after a long drive and long day at work. ( heatwave ) Once in I msg to say this is NOT the property in booked. No reply.

The flat was clean and spacious- especially good for the price- location was great too- right in the centre of Sheffield next to the beautiful cathedral. Thank you!

Very clean and spacious property. Had a really good nights sleep. Very close to all amenities and the tram stop. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop there again. A+. John.

The stairs were tight and made it difficult to carry big suitcases. And as it's located just next to the cathedral, the ringing might be so loud on Thursday and on Sunday

Functional and convenient to pool. This time we stayed in a 2br apartment.

Dorm like and bare minimum utensils and cutlery. No dishwasher tablet or washing machine tabs to get you started

Host dismissive and rude - dirty and broken amenities despite giving £50 deposit and ID First appearances were not good, dirty entrance and communal area- I had chosen this apt specifically for self catering facilities but on arrival freezer was fully iced over and door not closing making fridge unusable and food bought for the week wasted - dirty kitchen floor- broken shower door and bathroom door handle- decrepit mattress so we rolled together and could feel base of bed on back- cheap poor quality towels & bed linen, host passing the buck and and putting fault on me for late checking which was pre agreed and his lack of responses to messages and calls and voicemails. Had to leave next morning and check out and find elsewhere and cancel rest of week booking incurring more costs but both host & booking.com refusing to refund the future booking- in face should be asking for initial night and wasted food money back! Poor hygiene only the most basic of prep for our arrival could have been done for these issues to have not been noticed.

I was in an apartment at the ground level, there was not a lot of light, the windows were on the streets and didn't shut the light and the view from the street completely. The apartment was dusty and not particularly clean overall, I am allergic to dust so I had to buy some sheets so as not to get a reaction. Sheets are old and polyester.

Very poorly equipped kitchen. Only two of us there but shocked to find only two forks, two knives, two bowls (which could fit nothing in and looked like they were from a charity shop), no toaster, no serving dishes or baking trays etc. the hob had a big crack in it and a sign said place pans carefully on the hob - really? The issue was that they’re not fixed the hob, it’s not my job to put pans on carefully (which I would anyway) - it’s their job to fix the oven! . bedding was shocking, crumpled, old and looked dirty. I don’t think it was unwashed but it was bobbled and had dirty black marks on it. Had to go and buy new bedding for the stay. I went to Poundland and spent £10 getting some items including plate/bowl and throught that if the owners just took a bit of time to invest in some basic, matching kitchenware and tidy the place with a lick of paint, new/clean bedding and a couple of new rugs it would make all the difference. Hot water didn’t work one morning, issue with boiler pressure. No response to my email but when I rang a few hours later someone came very quickly and fixed the problem.

Fantastic location in the centre of Sheffield. Handy for tram, shops and restaurants. Property was clean, shower was good and bed comfortable.

The only negative were that the kitchen lacked equipment, could have had a bowl etc to use in mircowave and trays dishes to use in the oven. Also could do with a proper plug for the kitchen sink! My only other issue was that we weren’t advised of the full address until approx 12.15 on the day, I had asked for it the day before as i wanted to organise a supermarket delivery however had to find a supermarket instead the carry all the shopping from the car park.

Tumble drier door was broken, bedsheets had lipstick stains, kitchen tap leaked, bathroom window wouldn’t shut & WiFi didn’t work

Great location, you can see the metro stop from the front door, so perfect for a accessing the arena. Easy self check in. The appartment was spacious and very clean. Secure parking close by for an additional charge. We would definitely stop here again, of we were visiting Sheffield

The worst accomodation of my life, by far! Dirty would be mild to say, it was DISGUSTING! And on top of that, all the druggies are gathering around the Cathedral.

There was humidity in the room. (It was a very warm day.) A dehumidifier would be useful. A bit noisy when people walks by.

Easy to book, good communication and location was excellent. Also easy to find with clear directions.

Lounge blind didn't work but we adapted and as very sunny didn't really matter.

Nothing at all. It was the worse place I’ve ever stayed at. Cigarette smoke was deeply embedded into all bed linen, it stank throughout of smoke and was dank and depressing. I had booked for two nights but could only stay for one otherwise I would have been seriously ill. I barely slept, woke up with a sore throat and a cough because if the state of the place and the smoke. Furthermore, the hosts were unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. I’ve asked them repeatedly to confirm they have deleted the copy of my passport I provided at their request and I have not had a response. If they still have a copy of my passport on their files a week after my stay, this contravenes their policy.

They changed last minute the apartment that we have booked to another that has nothing to do with the apartment in the picture.

Lovely place on photos and good area.

Manager was very rude on the phone and was not able to help me or come to an agreement. Although it did say on the ad that there was a £50 deposit, it was not clear you had to bank transfer it directly ( i thought it was included in the price) I rang on the number provided, offered to pay the deposit cash or give card details for them to take payment and was told to find another way of transfering it. I could of done card payment but do not have the online banking app. As a result i have lost out on £100+ on an apartment that i wasnt even able to access or stay in!!

Was not informed about needing ID. Call customer service and Was told I needed to pay £50 before getting keys to property. There was no option to do this. Call customer service again to try to pay over phone. Was told it was not an option. Lost £60 as I couldn't get access and was completely left without accommodation after driving for 3 hours to destination.

Location Nice two , good size rooms and bathroom Communication with the person guiding us.

Cleaning was not optimal Kitchen was not well cleaned, sticky floor, dirty utensils, used sponge. Fridge not working properly. Towels were washed but very old needed a change now. En suit toilet is a plus but shower pipe was leaking. The yellow rug under the coffee table very used , not clean, needs to go out now leaving a bad impression. Quilts and bed sheets are polyester , I don’t like this, however they were clean. Mattress quality is not good. Overall carpet was good and clean, both washrooms were nice and clean. Main concern was kitchen and the towels.

Central Location. Bathroom was nice. Happy about the price we paid but wouldn’t have wanted to pay anymore.

Bottom sheet on bed had burn marks on. Coffee pot had coffee and sugar in mixed. Water left in kettle from past visitors. Skirting could do with a paint. Mop bucket and dirty water left on landing for the entire stay. Towels with like giant microfibre cloths.

Dirty cutlery left in sink on arrival, as the apartment is next to the cathedral which is used each day as I food bank I was woken by shouting from outside and found a male fast asleep right outside the apartment. Also on the hottest week of the year I was unable to open the bedroom window as was stuck due to levels of paint, I had one small fan which broke when I messaged the company they ignored me for over 24 hrs and when they did reply they said they would drop another fan off, which never arrived when they eventually answered the phone they told me it wasn’t their responsibility to supply a fan , when I mentioned that it could reflect on the review , the response was are you threatening me with a bad review. Also on the website it shows jars of tea , coffee and sugar implying that they are supplied, on arrival there was nothing , just a kettle.

Easy to access property and in a good location.

Ants were present in the property under the fridge.

The property was pleasant and central, But the deposit made my life more complicated and I was worried if this was right as I never had this before with booking.com

The nearly rolled up towels were moist and did not smell fresh. The freezer could not fit one bottle as it was so iced up. The mirror hadn’t been cleaned for a while which makes you wonder what else not.
