Very close to shops, and petrol station. Easy to find the location.

We chose the room with own toilet but the rooms were so close to each other and maybe it not sound proof, you can easily hear a simple movement or noise from next door. I travelled with my child so it was a struggle to keep her voice & noise down so it would no disturb the people next to our room.

Close to Mount Cook national Park. Good sized room. Kitchen facilities. Staff helpful. Available extra heating when requested. Beds reasonably comfortable.

Toilet paper was not supplied one day which caused a problem in the morning. Walls are paper thin and we had loud guests on either side of us. Car parking out the front of our room was taken by guests on either side of us so we had to park further away. No tissues provided.

As someone already mentioned: it has a roof…

- The staff were quite rude, during winter with -3 in the day, we came back to our radiator unplugged (when it didn’t say anywhere that we should have unplugged it, and it was plugged when we came in), and they opened the curtains we voluntarily closed because we left some valuable in the room. All of that without making the bed or touching anything else of course. This issue was reported to the reception, but it should not have happened in the first place. - The bathrooms were left with the windows opened and no heating, which meant that it was basically freezing in there. - The utensils in the kitchen or in the room were not that clean so if you don’t want to lose time cleaning before using then eat out. - The rooms are really old, and the beds as well, so do not expect a comfy night’s sleep. The walls are also very thin. Our neighbors left at 6am making a lot of noise and came back at midnight doing the same thing, and we could hear every conversation they had (+ sex), this is also because of the doors in between rooms that can become communicating rooms… - The advertised “TV” is basically an old cube with only one channel, + very pixelated and terrible sound. - The wi-fi is as good as the TV We honestly would not recommend this stay, it is the cheapest we could find in the area, and for the money we paid it still was very expensive for the quality of the place.

It's right in the town centre. Only walking distance from the motel

Not a proper kitchen, no extractor to extract smoke from the room, cooking utensils need to replace for a better one, shower room drainage was flowing slowly out the shower floor.

This place is actually the old ministry of works accommodations from decades ago when the dams were built. Separate buildings spread out on a grassy area with not much in the way of gardens. Each building has a long dark corridor down the middle with rooms off each side of it. Although it is very clean, it hasn't been updated and doesn't have a holiday vibe at all. It is purely functional, and as one of the cheaper options in Twizel, I guess it is OK value for money, as long as you don't intend to spend much time there.

Przestronny apartament. Czysto, dobra lokalizacja.

Jak przyjechaliśmy to bylo 10 stopni w pokojach. W momencie jak dojechaliśmy o 22:00 to czekanie aż się nagrzeje nie było zbyt komfortowe. W łazience bylo zimno cały czas (nawet jak już pokój sie nagrzał)

Warm and comfortable. Beds were comfortable Kitchen adequately resourced with equipment. Staff were excellent and easy to deal with. Perfect location for exploring the region by car. Walking distance to shops, pub etc

Shower pressure was low, but plenty hot enough. Shower curtain ineffective at keeping floor dry. Fire alarm easily set off by cooking.

Value for money

Always a comfortable stay here. We had our own kitchenette but went to the main kitchen for more comfortable cooking. Highly recommend

This is one of the dirtiest, worst places I've stayed. The room smelled like air freshener covering up smoke and the kitchen was filthy. The microwave had old food caked every where inside and reeked like fish. The whole place needs a deep clean There are doors in between rooms that are meant to be locked - but ours didn't. So the people next door casually opened the door at one point. Doesn't feel like a safe place at all.

This place is the original workers' quarters for the Waitaki Dam project 60 years ago. It has been upgraded since then of course. The room we booked had room for 5 people in it. Bed was comfortable. Took a while for the room to heat up but it was really cold outside! Walk in shower, 2 hand basins, lots of power points, very convenient location - just a short walk to shops and eateries. Staff were lovely.

Nothing we didn't like or expect. It was a fair price for what we got :-) No complaints here!

公共厨房，厨具应有尽有。设施比较老，但床单很干净，睡觉的床单白色的，很舒服。

Only a minor suggestion: the bathroom light and extractor fan shared the same switch. During colder weather, the fan made the bathroom feel quite cold while showering. Separate controls would improve comfort.

Spacious unit with good heating. The complex is dated, but functional and good value for the money.
