Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Crooked Tree Bed and Breakfast in Umhlanga is perfectly situated, conveniently close to Gateway Private Hospital as well as the many shops, cafés, and restaurants in Umhlanga. The location could not be better. Our host, Helen, was charming and welcoming. She personally showed us around the accommodation and recommended several restaurants, all of which proved to be excellent choices. The accommodation was comfortable, well-maintained, and offered outstanding value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend Crooked Tree Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting the area.

What an awesome experience for the price. Also if you would like to be near the lighthouse beach, oceans mall, pearls of Umhlanga, raddison Blu view this is perfect. A nice way to save but be close to every attraction.
