Liked the location, good for parking, friendly staff, nice room.

All looking a bit tired - I think the photos are from some time ago. Staff member surly and unhelpful. No hairdryer in the room - had to ask at reception. Not good value for money and no breakfast for Booking.com bookings. Very disappointing.

A run-down place to stay. It must have been nice there at one time, but not anymore. The house and rooms were very dirty. We left early. It's not worth the price.

My trip was made enjoyable by the helpful attention of Faith on reception. 5 Stars for Faith.

The location was amazing right on the seafront. The beer garden at front was large and well equipped with different seating areas. We did not have breakfast but the evening meals x2 we had were both exceptional. Most of the staff were incredible

The room was smaller than expected with quite dated decor unlike some shown in the picture. I would of preferred a sea view instead of the fire escape stairs but you get what you pay for. I always prefer a walk in shower as always feel a little unsteady stepping in and out of bath to shower

The room was poor, the curtains were didn’t fit properly there damp on the ceiling and wall , we didn’t received and clean towels and the bed was uncomfortable

Our chair in room 26 is hard and uncomfortable to sit on and the remote control needs replacing - we didn’t use it , yet, it’s looks quite fragile … Also, we had breakfast Sunday morning in the bar and there was 1 waiter serving all the tables …he was apologetic …efficient etc , however , he asked Carol ( I think this was her name)behind the bar if she could take a few orders if she had a minute & he had no help …I feel that she could have helped the waiter as a priority ie if anyone required the bar / reception, they can ring the bell and wait , this appeared to me as lack of team support…

Last minute booking and will definitely be back. Fabulous, friendly and perfect location x

Our bed had a hole/depression on one side which meant that side couldnt be used. The room was very hot at night, whilst they did provide a fan it was not powerful enough to manage the heat.

We have stayed at the min y mor several times now, and it is always excellent.

The location was great..

The room was a single room with a double bed put in it..The room was clean but very basic..when we booked in at reception they proceeded to tell us about breakfast then said oh you booked with booking. Com so you don't get any..really !!! Anyway we had a evening meal and that was delicious.

Fantastic location directly opposite the beach, which is the biggest usp. Can walk into town.

Very old fashioned decor and in need of much updating (threadbare carpets, small bed, not enough towels or milk in room) Room was very warm even with the window open. Breakfast was restrictive in terms of times and food choice.

Hair in soap dish,sink tap very loose,toilet seat broken, shower head black,dusty skirting boards, Old building cracks in wall & flaking paint,bathroom cupboard dirty edge not been wiped clean, carpet not vacuumed -small pieces of yellow metal on floor between beds, most skirting boards dusty as well as tv, skirting board broken by door and slotted in door handle loose as well as I’m sure the door latch is in the wrong way round, room looks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly Did not unpack so didn’t check cupboards and drawers till leaving then in bedside table bottom drawer half eaten sandwich left in there ( not by us I hasten to say) Noise on and off maybe generator not sure outside the room only small window to open Pillows very hard. Breakfast - mini cereal packs out of date! Toast very well done almost burnt Did not complain but laughed it off as only sleeping there for 2 nights But would not recommend £220 for 2 nights without breakfast is expensive for the standard of accommodation which is a shame because it’s in a prime location.

What can I say the staff at this hotel are brill , nothing was to much trouble. My wife and myself had a wonderful three day stay , room was large enough to accommodate a wheelchair , with large wet room . Food was good , bar was busy but staff were always on hand to help bring over our drinks and food . Would we go again YES , special thanks to Charlotte for all your help and brown sauce , your mum on reception was lovely as well . The owner should be proud of all her staff .

We stayed at the Min-y-Mor Hotel for two nights last week while attending a family gathering. From the moment we arrived, the staff were brilliant. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and did everything they could to make sure guests had a good stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed, warm, family (and very dog!) friendly - perfect for our group! We stayed in a family room with our daughter, and it was huge. We had plenty of space, and the sea view was absolutely stunning. Waking up and looking out across the bay each morning was a real treat. The food was excellent too. We ate in the hotel during our stay and every meal was enjoyable, with generous portions and great quality. The hotel has character and is far away from a soulless modern chain hotel, and that's part of its charm. It was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and full of personality. More importantly, it was run by people who clearly care about their guests. For anyone considering a stay, I can't recommend this place enough - we had a fantastic couple of days and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Thank you to everyone at the Min-y-Mor for making us feel so welcome. Can't wait to see you all again later in the summer!

We had a really good welcome at this hotel. We’ve got a very large dog and he was also welcomed given lots of hugs and treats. It was our first holiday away with the dog and it went really well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Good location beach is just across the road and it’s beautiful. Parking was fantastic right on site easy to unload the dog and ourselves. If you had really good weather, it be perfect. There was lots of outdoor areas to sit lots of space if you’ve got a dog that might need space.

That is right that by the sea front and the beer garden was so lovely and the view of the sea just peaceful, the staff you couldn’t fault 1 bit, the owner was a lovely lady and her staff was amazing and friendly every single one of them. Think next time we would prefer a seafront view room if possible but all in all great stay. We are coming back.

Location, staff and friendly atmosphere. Our room was basic and we brought the dog. Very dig friendly with water bowls provided outside to take to your table .

Only a point to consider when booking a room with a dog the bedroom wasn't big enough to erect our dog crate. We managed without but some dogs are used to being settled in a crate at night.

Stayed at Min-Y-Mor Hotel, room was very nice , comfy bed and very nice bathroom/Shower , lovely beer garden and sunsets , very welcoming. Definitely recommend this hotel, beach 🏖️ on your doorstep and a just a walk into town perfect

Beautiful day we sat in the beer garden with stunning sea views, we decided to try the serial griller I ordered a beef burger topped with bacon and cheese it was absolutely mouth watering fantastic quality of meats and cheese even the bun was superb. Served with fries £11 bargain .

I stayed in Room 6. An extremely comfortable bed and a lovely ensuite. Distant views of the seafront. No complaints with the room. The hotel is in a lovely location, right on the seafront and only a 5-minute walk to town. Ample free parking for residents. Love the large front area of the hotel, with plenty of tables and sheltered seating booths to protect when it's windy. Staff very friendly & helpful. No complaints whatsoever. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I'll definitely be back when I need to stay in Barmouth.

Loved the facilities, restaurant and a bar (also offered priority reservations as a hotel guest as it gets busy) and great location, right on the beach. Pet friendly so plenty of dogs around, perfectly clean too. Also great accessibility into town, carpark on site so relieves the stress of parking. Despite it being the start of the season, it was still quite busy but I can imagine during peak season this place would be great to stay to ensure all your needs are met. There's plenty of outdoor space, and a kids play area. The beds were comfy and room recently refurbished!

I didn't like the fact that I only stayed for two nights! Only thing i could mention was the scaffolding outside of my window, but not an issue for me as I didn't have a sea view anyway! As it was bank holiday there was nobody working either so no disruption from people anyone working on the roof.
