Great location, the housekeeper was lovely and helpful, the room had a balcony.

Wooden single glazed door to balcony means you can hear noises in the street very prominently Cigarette burns on bed linen, i showed this to who I believe was the manager who said it wasn't a burn, but it definitely was and I just told him I don't smoke so don't want the blame for it. Ive attached photos of the burns that apparently are not burns. The shower head is too big and because of limited water flow the water dribbled out so difficult to get a shower. 2 sachets of shower get and a small bar of soap is not sufficient for 2 adults for 4 days. Neither is two cheap toilet rolls, thankfully I took some extra rolls with me because I've had this problem before Bed mattress is terrible and not comfortable at all. I did notice this in a review from a while ago so assumed it may have been addressed but it hadnt it was terrible. The 4 poster bed is cheap frame badly put together so just rattles if you move around. No shelf in shower cubicle to put shower gel or soap, therefore you had to keep popping out of shower to put it on sink unit, there was no towel for the floor so shower room/toilet floor was very wet after 2 showers. The lighting in the room was poor, the ceiling light was poor and the bedside lamps gave very little light off Its a pity its a great location but not looked after as a property but they seem to be allowing it to go downhill.

The room had everything that’s needed and a good size considering it had a king size bed and bunk bed. The location is perfect near cinema beach pier and the shopping strip. Would defo stay here again

The bathroom was a little small as a plus size girl I just fit in and the corridor getting to the room is thin but that’s a me problem rest of the family found it fine

The mattress on the double bed needs to be replaced or at least turned, it dipped a lot. A teenager can't sit up on the bottom bunk bed. The shelf above the basin is too close to the basin, making brushing your teeth awkward. The shower squeaks when you turn it on and the door of the shower does not shut smoothly.

Location. Ease of access with coded door access. Double bed comfortable, shower old but hot.

Room was not cleaned above head height. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling, daughter doesn't like spiders. Room cramped for 4 people. Bunk bed may need the bolts tightening, bit loose. Would stay if we were without the kids.

It was right by the beach in the town centre. It was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed a good night sleep.

We were on the second floor with no lift and heavy case but the manager did give my partner a hand up with it

Room met my expectations for the price paid however doesn't compare to a hotel or decent b&b but you get what you pay for. Stayed in worse for more more, it done the job.

Walls are paper thin, could hear conversations in the next room, the toilet isn't on main drainage some sort of water tank so the bathroom smelt a little and the room door didnt feel very secure like anyone could barge in with no manual lock on the inside.

Location is superb Staff were very helpful with parking etc Room was as expected - Exactly what we needed and it had a kettle which was a real bonus.

The decor in this place needs a bit of work - A touch of paint here and there and a few soft furnishings and this would be amazing! Wouldn't take a lot and it could be very pretty!

Perfectly located. Very close to the beach and shops. Complimentary body wash and soap was provided and replenished daily. Tea and coffee was provided and replenished daily. Also an air con unit was provided as the weather was very hot. My bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were lovely.

I couldn't change the channel on the TV, but that didn't really bother me as I wasn't there to watch TV. I didn't report this to the staff. I'm sure they would have rectified the problem if I had.

Excellent location close to all attractions and amenities. I was concerned as it was near a pub serving to very late and several of the patrons were shouting loudly but when I got in I couldn't hear them. The shielding in these old building is so much better than the new builds. Room came with a good fan wjich was a relief as it was very hot. Plentg of power points and a fridge.

The bathroom, no plug for the sink. A toothbrush holder cup would have also been nice. Shower was ok. They provided useless shampoo and shower gel satchets which never lathered up. Shower needed a going over with a enamel repair kit as well. Very poor lighting in room.

The proximity to the main attractions of the town is brilliant but it didn't feel like a particularly safe area. The room had what was needed in it and was generally very clean. Complementary tray and the individual toiletries sachets were brilliant. Having a fridge was a lovely addition but we didn't get to use it properly as we didn't expect it. The room itself was a reasonable size and well equipped. Excellent for the price.

Every day items were very clean but things like top of the wardrobe were not. There was no plug for the sink making a wet shave for a man very difficult. Shower room was very tight on space. The stairs were quite steep and corridors not the easiest to negotiate when carrying lots of bags etc. The mattress on the double bed could do with being replaced and, as per other reviews, pillows were extremely thin. Glad we took extras.

Guest house is located very close to the beach. Perfect location. Staff was very helpful and answered questions when I texted. It was clean.

Mattress could of been better , more comfortable, but other than that , there was nothing negative.

We didn't even stay we are seasoned travellers through out the year and are consistently staying away we took one look at the place and the location and knew it wasn't for us maybe if you didn't have a vehicle to park then okay but we travel in a van and had nowhere to park even after paying for a permit the area itself is very unpleasant, I suggest if you are considering this property please do your research first.

Good place to stay, clean and cosy, perfect location in town centre and opposite the pier. Would recommend and stay again.

Close to beach and shops

Message and called the premises several times before arrival no.answer left messages never returned my calls. Hotel room was needing refurbishment. The street was so noisy at night screaming shouting fighting. That was from the residents living on the road. ( I stayed at little Emily when the previous owners had it was a much better place then. Including residents

The coded doors helped the place feel secure, the room was cleaned to a good standard, for the price it was a good hotel.

Not having the code before check in time, the bathroom could do with some tlc as the tile stickers were peeling off of the wall, the cold water tap came through warm/hot.

Shower head kept falling off the mount and the toilet flush handle fell off, easy fix, so I did it and carried on pooing.

It was dreadful the carpet hadn’t been hoovered , no hot water to shower toilet handle broke when flushing patio doors wouldn’t open as they’d been painted so were stuck solid ,and as for the chest of drawers and bedside cabinet there wasn’t a drawer that wasn’t broken I was booked in for 4 nights and came home after 2 totally ruined my break and to top it all, all you could smell was weed not for me thanks

The hotel next door , goverment b and b loud music 8am in front garden, all quite by 7pm . Not a problem for us as up and out all day but could be a problem if in room all day at front of house. Food and drink left in fridge from previous tenant and pink lipstick on head board a simple wipe over and empty fridge would have cured problem. Not a problem we will stay again as excellent value

Very outdated, loud at night also extremely hot! Photos very miss leading as looked nothing like our room. Also before you book a permit is needed was very confusing to get.

We had a nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and it had everything I needed, the staff were kind and helpful. The location was good and made it easy to get around, It was also quiet, so I could relax well. Street parking was available with a permit, which could be used throughout the town centre, making parking very convenient. I enjoyed my stay and would come back again! 😊

It has a great location, and was good value for money. The shower was hot, the heating worked and the room warm.

Maybe because of the good reviews I was expecting more, but I found it very basic. I don't mind basic, if it is good value, and I did only have a small single room, maybe the larger rooms are plusher? The room wasn't serviced one day, but that's not a big deal. Generally it was only ok, but I would go there again.

The WC didn't really work. I had to open the lid and manually pumped in more water to get enough for every single flush. There's always a strange smell in the room. Can't tell what.

It’s location and easy access, nice having the balcony with a sea view

Though the room itself was nice we were kept awake by what seemed to be a bleeping noise first we thought someone was trying to get in the room then checked the fire alarm which seemed ok , it wasn’t until the morning after a sleepless night we discovered it was actually the sign under the balcony that was making the noise ( it’s in need of some grease or moving.

Windows wouldnt close/broken, weed being smoked in the building. Next door had a dog barking most of the night when it was a no pet hotel

Perfect location. Easy check-in / access. All areas were clean and well take care of. Room was clean and set up nicely. Unique style of furniture (very pretty) and a perfectly comfortable bed. Good amount on tea/coffee and milk. The little balcony with the sea view and a morning sunshine was a cherry on top of the cake. Loved having a coffee there.

Not a big issue, but the shower cabin could use a new shower head, as there current one is faulty.

We had a lovely stay, location was brilliant, room was a lovely size for family of 4, private shower/toilet. It's clean & tidy no noise into the late hours considering the central location.

Bed wasn't overly comfortable but that could be that we are used to multiple more pillows for comfort other than that very good size comfy bed.

Clean & comfortable. You can come and go as you please - no restrictions and access is coded so no curfews. Close to Britannia pier & seafront.

The stairs 🙈 no fault of the owners asks of the b&bs are the same but the family rooms are on the first floor and the stairs are thin and twist as you get to the top - quite scary to navigate with young children.
