I have stayed at The Old Barn on a number of occasions.. The service and accommodation cannot be faulted and the menu has a wide range of delicious choices to suit all guests.

Very friendly staff and dinner and breakfast was very nice (and hot) which makes a nice change .

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We like the bar meals and breakfast. This was our second stay, so we chose to return.

The en-suite looked a little tired with mouldy tiles.

Grande chambre bien isolée. Vue sur la cour du parking qui est grand et gratuit. Restaurant et aussi un bar dans lequel nous avons diné est. Bon et large lit. De superbes fleurs agrémentent le pourtour de l'auberge.

Having rooms at a venue you’re attending is good. Although no fridge in room, they did put my dietary requirement milk into a fridge for me

The bathroom sink needs updating and the toilet seat moved every time you sat down

Nice inn. Staff were lovely. So was the food. Clean, comfortable rooms with a good shower. No air conditioning but there was a very effective ceiling fan, which we utilised during the hot humid 3 days of our visit.

Hotel could use a little TLC ... maybe with investment in air conditioning, as hot humid spells are only going to become more frequent. Our bedroom had the ceiling fan, but the bar/lounge area was uncomfortably hot.

Nice place to stay with easy parking, friendly staff and a good restaurant.

The room was clean. We ate in the restaurant on all three evenings. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The breakfast was good and you had a little list to tick for bacon, sausage, mushroom etc.

I didn't like the unwelcoming corridor that you had to walk along to get to the rooms in the annexe. But once you were in your room it was fine.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Old Barn Inn. Easy and friendly check-in, nice bedroom, great location, excellent breakfast. And although we didn't have time to be outside, the garden looked lovely too.

A little surprized to find our room along a short corridor, in a separate building to the main area. However, it was very secure and easy to find. The room was spacious with natural light. We enjoyed our evening meal, the staff were attentive, friendly and very professional. Breakfast was lovely, the lady in the breakfast was also very pleasant and hard working.

Another one or two options for vegetarians in the restaurant would be a good addition. Although my curry dish was lovely, perhaps some indication of how spicey it was would also be good.

Het voelde een beetje aan als een motel zoals je het ziet in Amerikaanse films. Een pub met een incheck balie en een lang los staand blok met kamers. Niet echt een hotel gevoel. Meer een kroeg waar je kan blijven slapen. Niks was echt slecht, maar er was ook niks waarvan je zegt, YES.

My wife found her sweet chilli prawn pasta Main too sweet to finish, and I found my Hunters Chicken Main too overcooked to finish as I couldn’t even cut it with my knife.

Eine sehr gute Küche. Abendessen und Frühstück waren herausragend gut. Sehr praktisch waren die Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Zu loben ist auch das sehf freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverältnis.

Property was clean but tired the room was extremely hot.

Very noisy floorboards heard other guests all night walking in rooms and corridors until 11.30 at night. Also food option on a Sunday finishes at 5pm.

Friendly welcome, good service and ample portions of decent food both in restaurant and for breakfast. Bedrooms reasonably well furnished, clean and functional.

Separate bedroom block a bit forbidding and lacking in character.

Unfortunately, no fault of the hotel, we had very selfish, noisy guests above us, arguing in the early hours, so our sleep was very disturbed

The room was very spacious, and the ensuite was large and well fitted out. The rooms are securely located in a seperate wing with card access. The breakfast was good.

The only grievance was they have overhead lights over the bed, but can be left off.

13.5 years ago we had our wedding reception at The Old Barn and we stayed in the Penhow Suite. We have had many meals there are we are local, but this was our first time returning to stay in the Suite and it was stunning. We had a warm welcome, wonderful food, and lovely stay.

This is my second stay and I will definitely return. All facilities are excellent and the Sunday roast that I had was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We hadden een kamer op de begane grond. In een apart bijgebouw. Dat was prettig met het in-en uitpakken van de auto. De kamer was aangenaam van temperatuur (we waren er tijden een koude periode). Veel parkeerruimte. Kamer is royaal. Goed verlicht. Theekistje is goed gevuld.

Ontbijt was goed, maar wat kaal. Presentatie kan beter. Gehorig; we hoorden de geluiden boven ons heel goed. Kamer is netjes, maar wel gedateerd. Er is een bad, maar daar moet je ook in douchen.

Second visit here and it was a great stay. Staff were lovely, and breakfast was great.

It's a shame there isn't a coffee machine. Only filter coffee which I'm not a fan of.

The evening meal and the breakfast were very, very good. It was so nice to order breakfast and have it freshly cooked and served to us. The ambience and the friendliness of the staff were very important to us. Perhaps the lady who was at reception on our arrival and who greeted and served us our breakfast deserves a special mention.

Everything was perfect. Ooh, maybe not so much chorizo in the chicken and chorizo bake.
