Great central location, apartment was basic but perfect for what we needed- somewhere to stay after a night out

Bathroom door lock was a bit stiff so we didn't dare use it incase we got stuck!

Couldn’t open windows so it was a dry mouth restless sleep but apart form that the quality of location and apartment was amazing

Great location, very flexible on checking in early and considerate of putting me somewhere quieter as I wasn’t there for the football. Great rate for a studio room.

Very noisy location with clubs and pubs playing loud music and people on the streets until around 5am. The apartment was very basic with a floor rug which was filthy dirty, the bathroom tiles were not grouted and creaked everytime you stepped on them. The carpet outside the apartment in the corridor was heavily stained. Not a place for a weekend break to see the lovely city of Liverpool with friends or loved ones but ok I guess if you’re out till late at night partying and just want somewhere to crash. Could be a nice place if the owners spent some money and worked harder to keep on top of maintenance.

The location was good, close to the city centre

The property was mouldy, water damaged and run down. There were stains on all the furniture and it felt dirty and neglected

The lift and entrance smelt of urine unfortunately and a stale musty smell

The mattress was extremely poor quality. Worn, no spring support and too big for the base.

The apartment was clean and the kitchenette area was useful with a full range of items needed. The bathroom was clean and the staff were polite. The access was easy and it made a great little stopping point for a stay in liverpool.

We were in a mathew Street Side apartment, which was definitely not soundproof. The windows were difficult to open and close. Not the apartments fault, but the noise was on until 3.30 am on one night and 2.30 am the next night. We kept the windows closed, but the fan provided was also noisy. The apartment had areas that were bodged. It all just felt a bit dated. The pillows were uncomfortable, and the sofa bed mattress was a bit unclean. I feel if you are going for a night out and not getting in till early hours this place is great but if you are using it as a place to rest after a day exploring then it is not for you.

Great central location in Liverpool. Apartment is a good size and modern.

The windows are not double glazed i guess, the noise from the street was high, it was the weekend. If you are not in the apartment from 10pm to 3am, you are ok. If you are in it. It is not an enjoyable experience. There was also no ShowerGels,Shampoos,Soap amenities.

The location of the hotel is very convenient if you’re looking to stay in the city centre, it is also a short walk from train station so you don’t need to get a taxi or other transport to get to the hotel.

The air con in the apartment was broken, which they did tell me about. There was a stand alone fan to cool you down, but this not the same as air conditioning, given that I was staying in summer. I was a bit disappointed with the room’s and coffee facilities, there was only milk and sugar with nothing to go with it.

It was a hot day when we stayed and the apartment was really hot & couldn’t open the windows - we didn’t notice the fan in the room until we were checking out (doh)

The Location of the apartment is absoluetely perfect, if your a fan of the beatles. Your dead on city center, 5 minutes to walk to almost anywhere.

I think the location of our specific apartment was a mess, go to level 4 then down stairs to go back up 2 flights of stairs. Like a maze. Our Apartment had multiple broken doors on the unit, wall paper falling off the wall & stained coffee tables before we even got into the apartment. Our bed was super uncomfortable, spring loaded mattress that dug into your back. No Air conditioning besides a cheap desktop fan. Sound proofing on the windows wasn't great, you could hear the music all night long.

Ignore the bad reviews this is great central Liverpool accommodation, the room was clean and tidy with very good facilities. The downside is the check in times which are limited and waiting around at the entrance is frustrating. I was on the front of the building and if you are looking for a good night's sleep in a quiet location this isn't for you, the clubs do play music late / early morning, this was great for me as I was one of those out 😂

The day the lift didn’t work is the only little thing I can say I didn’t like (purely because the stairs in the heatwave weren’t fun 🤣) that’s more on me for not being fit enough

We knew there was no air con but with no opening windows anywhere the apartment was stiflingly hot and it was only 21C outside. The staff wanted to help by giving us fans but it was still uncomfortable.

Excellent location, nice kitchen and bathroom. All rooms were a great size

Its a little more run down than the photos appear but it's not a problem. It was clean.

Location was ideal. The staff were lovely. Ironing board with iron and hairdryer in the room A nice shower with towels provided.

Areas of the rooms look tired. The communal spaces need a bit of tlc, the photos on booking.com are cleverly done and did not mirror reality. Was not value for money. The hotel around the corner was not much more in cost and included breakfast. We booked 2 rooms and managed to be on the same floor. One room had replenished tea/coffee etc but the other didn't. The flooring in one was badly scuffed. It would have been nice to have a clean dish cloth to wash up as we had washing up liquid.

Really bad location. Next to a club that was blaring music out till 2am in the morning. We had my daughter’s graduation and needed to be up at 5am so we could get ready and leave by 7am. Had two awful nights sleep. Bed was very soft and squeaky. Horrible trying to sleep on it. The door handles were wobbly and the bathroom suite was cheap and flimsy.

Room had everything you could need including a fan.

The bed is off poor quality with it Boeing in the middle. The matress is not of high enough quality to componsate for the dip in the bed. There is no tea towels.

Bedroom windows were internal and did not open. There were fans but it was very stuffy. Living room window opened onto Victoria Street and was therefore very noisy.

Location was good. Receptionist was nice.

The apartment. Very very run down. Floor and furniture dirty. Every bit of furniture was chipped and damaged. As was flooring. Mattress was really dirty. Loose tiles in bathroom floor. Mirror all damaged and rusty. The bed was really noisy at the slightest move.

Anytime i visit Liverpool i always stay here..so close to everything and a big thank you to Eevie as always

Perfect location, a few things could be sorted, no bath panel, shower door didn’t have a bottom seal therefore the floor got soaked

Didn’t realise how noisy it would be the next morning with pub barrel delivery/removals but got the properties fault

At first we were out in apartment that had issues. A Zippet water pressure unite made racket constantly humming and it was sin the same room as the bed. We would not have got any sleep Abdul the desk guy moved us to a better apartment. But the one we were in initially had the SMOKE ALARMS removed! That puts people at risk badly!

The new apartment we were moved to apartment was much much better. And given low occupancy on our floor no one in any of the apartments we should have been given that in the first place!

Roasting hot! Fans provided so ineffective - was well over 100 degrees in apartment as no fresh air and sun shining on windows! THE most uncomfortable nights sleep ever!

It was very close to the night life which was great for music and live bands, 5 minute walk to and from the docks, so easy to get around places.

The only thing I would say that I didnt like was it was to hot in the apartment, it needed air conditioning. But apart from that is was excellent.

The location is excellent, we had a nice cool room in the hot weather thanks to a decent sized window and a fan, our host made sure we had a well ventilated cool room. Also even though we were really close to all the bars the apartment was really quiet.

The room was clean, the staff were lovely and very helpful on the phone. It is right in the heart of Liverpools city centres night life (if that is what you are looking for)

Bear in mind this apartment is in the centre of Liverpool’s night life and the outside music and noise with go on until 5am. While the windows are double glazed, there is still significant sound pollution. Do not expect a peaceful nights sleep. I would also have expected a microwave as part of the apartment

Perfect location for what we wanted. The apartment was clean.

The only thing that let it down were a few cosmetic maintenance issues like the main entrance door was scruffy. Also having an apartment for 4 people but only one sofa. The fan was broken and the dishwasher didn’t have a bottom tray so couldn’t be used which was no big issue but there wasn’t a tea towel either. Also the fan was broken fan.

The property is in a very central and convenient location. Everything is within walking distance and there are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs close by.

Location and staff were great

We were placed on the top floor. We specified a quiet room during booking and were placed in a room where it was one of the loudest. Understanding it is close to Matthew street, but this was an issue in our first night which resulted in us getting very little sleep due to the windows not shutting the noise out when closed was a problem. The room looked very neglected, marks on the wall, door locking latch not catching properly when locking as well as the second inner door not locking at all! Our TV and Wi-Fi were not working also and had to be replaced by the staff as well as the bathroom sink not draining. We were moved the second day to a quieter room on the fourth floor by the staff, which was far better but not exactly luxury. Overall experience was okay, i would say the both apartments were needed of some TLC.

The bed in one of the bedrooms was creaky and wobbly and the lamp in the same bedroom couldn’t actually be plugged in anywhere. Also, some hand soap at least in the bathroom would have been helpful.

Perfect location for getting around and seeing sights as it is all local.

Unfortunately i couldnt use the shower as the tray had come away from the wall so the water runs straight under rhe shower tray and could be causing great structure damage. There were marks and noticeable stains on many furnishings and the rug still had food in it.

Parking nearby and close to shopping area.

No air con working on hottest day, stained matress on sofa bed, bath panel needed replacing, window wouldn't close so very loud music untill past 3am, didnt get to sleep untill after 3.30am. Window would not close. We had 2 others staying with is, but they had to purchase a last minute room in another hotel, at an extra cost to them, nearly £500 in total for a bad experience. Sorry for the bad review but it was not what we were expecting.

Dezamăgitor . Informațiile expuse pe site , nu existau în realitate. Am rezervat cameră cu vedere la oraș (de fapt era vedere la acoperișul clădirii vecine) - nu au respectat ce am rezervat. Scria ca este izolată fonic, dar toată gălăgia și muzica de pe Mathew street se auzea. Nu am putut dormi. Dușul este fix , în tavan. Nu este mobil deloc. Foarte greu de utilizat dacă nu vrei să îți speli părul de fiecare dată. Facilitățile ca exemplu : fierbător , prăjitor de paine nu există. Când am cerut o camera cu condițiile achizionate sau rambursare a diferenței pentru camera inferioară primită, au spus ca nu se poate și au greșit ei informațiile scrise în descriere pe booking.

We had a premier suite room 35 but very tired and needs work doing. Tv did not work. Lights out in hall and over shower. Loose floor tiles on bathroom floor. Cupboard over sink in bathroom ridiculous and meant it was difficult to have a wash.

Property was central to many things

Bed was really noisy when tossing and turning throughout the night and mattress was really springy and wasn’t very comfortable. TV wouldn’t work either when we returned to the room we couldn’t get it working “no single”

The building is beautiful and so is the apartment we stayed at. The location is superb for Matthew Street as it's just a small walk. The staff were friendly and helpful & the price was great

The only thing I'd suggest is bigger beds as they are a little small for two people comfortably

Unfortunately the property wasn’t up to standard. I couldn’t attend but my aunty and uncle did attend. The fan was broken the wallpaper was coming off the walls. The table was covered in muck. Therefore my uncle and aunty didn’t stay and handed the keys back
