Access behind reception to steep stairs. Had to open door from bottom stair as no room to stand. Restricted space in ensuite. Small handbasin - impossible to fill kettle and no bottled water provided.

Excellent meals in the restaurant. Hotel was clean and well appointed with modern design and fittings.

The location was interesting by the quayside, but it was in a very rundown part of Boston, and I didn’t feel entirely safe leaving my car there, or walking around.

Downstairs bar and restaurant was great, food is amazing and staff are fantastic and very friendly.

We had the triple room and it’s very dark, needs renovating, very bland.

Centrally located with plenty of parking available. I was a solo traveller and the hotel was well laid out with great restaurant and bar on site. Very modern, well thought out rooms with good shower!

ONLY thing is the kettle doesnt fit under the tap in the tiny bathroom sink. So either provide a bottle of water to fill the kettle or rethink the size of the sink.

Room cleanliness and friendly efficiency of the Lithuanian Receptionist were excellent. Parking arrangements and ingress from the parking area were efficient and convenient, respectively. The price was right for a quick trip to pick up a puppy the next morning and drive home. Booking.com's transaction was smooth and efficient.

The hotel is at the really scruffy part of town. This was out of keeping with our expectations. The room had a number of faults, all of which I wrote up and reported. (Window blind did not work, television was unable to be tuned. Sink plug stuck in downward position.) The room was, however very clean.

They were able to accommodate me with a ground floor room as requested

Central for exploring, parking on site. Very clean and well up kept property. The staff were lovely and very attentive.

The menu is extensive probably too much choice and my main had too much sauce ( red snapper) so detracted from the fish flavour. My fault I should have asked for sauce on the side.

Rooms were small, kept hitting our heads on the Eaves. Bathroom tiny and dirty. Could not even get the kettle in the sink to fill it up

It was clean and quiet

In my room the corner where you tea tray was very dark, I would have liked a lamp rather than the plant so that you could see what you where doing with hot kettle. Breakfast, although complimentary, the breads / cereals did not cater for anyone gluten free. A individual GF porridge pot and sealed cornflake packs you can get would have been great, means you don't waste or need too many.

We arrived to find a very comfortable bedroom and immaculate bathroom and having arranged to eat later there we had a drink in the bar which was steadily busy and with a very nice atmosphere. We had arranged with the Hotel secure bike storage which was easy to access for us and as we were on a cycling trip that is often not the case. I recommend this Hotel as it is quietly located and serves very good food. The view over the fishing trawlers was nice.

The only thing I can remember that I was surprised by that even though there was extremely hot weather at the time the heating in the bathroom was on. However there were two tower fans in the bedroom which were very welcome.

Onsite parking. Double room upgrade FOC. Included breakfast. 15 mins walk to a Wetherspoons to buy good Real Ale.

No Real Ale on in the bar. No option for a cooked breakfast.

It offered a spacious room with three single beds. The staff had been considerate and added fans to our room to help reduce the heat from the National Heatwave. It was close to the town centre and had ample parking. Staff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived. Thank you!

I was disappointed that there was not an allergens list available for breakfast. The music being played of an evening and over breakfast was not to our taste.

The property is located on a quiet road where it is not too busy with people walking up and down the street making noise. The staff are friendly as always. Every time I’ve gone in and waited for my room to be ready I have seen them greet customers with a smile. The rooms are clean and tidy upon arrival, prices for drinks at the bar are reasonably priced.

There is nothing bad I can say about this property.

I visited during the June 2026 heatwave. There was a cooling unit running in the room but it was quite noisy and I didn't think it was making much difference so turned it off, and opened the window (but this only opened a few centimetres and there was no breeze). It was very hot in the morning so if you stay, don't do what I did!

Clean, delicious meal, cold beer, friendly staff.

Very clean and comfortable. The room was excellent. All the staff were very professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.The food was fantastic, great choice and great portions. Would definitely stay again if in area.

The bar closed at 10pm on a Saturday night. We had booked a meal which took a while to receive as there was a private event on. By the time we finished our meals the bar was closed and we were unable to have a night cap even though we were staying at the hotel. Their website stated they were open until midnight on a Saturday.

Location - in a not so savour-able neighbourhood Bar shut at 6pm on a Sunday… Food was definitely microwaved and the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

No room to walk. We had a child with a pram. Had to dissemble to get to our room on the first floor. Also no air conditioning the room was too hot. The food was disappointing. Could of done with bigger portions

Lovely looking place. Food ok but pricey. However, no offer of desert or coffee, instead told at 9.40 that they close at 10pm.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Room was amazing with comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. Complimentary breakfast was a lovely suprise. A very good choice of food (continental) , lovely bread . Fruit juice, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, fruit etc.. There was also cheese and ham. Lovely decor too!

Checking ourselves in and out worked very well It was very clean Breakfast was lovely and the young girl on reception during breakfast was lovely (sorry I forgot her name!)

The room was sold as a deluxe! We had to boil the kettle on a small bedside table, not at all practical. The room was exceptionally hot, there was a large air conditioning unit plumbed in right next to the bed - but it was too noisy to sleep. Room 17 to be avoided it there are 2 of you in it - such a small room, with no where to place anything other than the small bedside shelves. Only 2 sockets so once you plug the air con unit in you are left with 1 socket to use the kettle, hairdryer and charge mobile phones. The bar and restaurant were not open on Sunday and as we were there Sunday & Bank holiday Monday they didn't open the bar or restaurant on the Monday either! Very disappointing

Booked a twin deluxe with harbour view for a two night stay, the harbour view was extremely disappointing, looking out on to an estuary and a few fishing dredgers, room was huge with a big bathroom with shower and bath (no shelves to put toiletries), there was a large fridge in the room and for the money we paid for this room I hoped to see some fresh milk and maybe a couple of small complimentary bottles of water, sadly not, room needs an urgent refresh Pleased to see there was plenty of tea/coffee, fresh milk obtained from the bar. Hoping to get an evening meal we asked to book a table only to be told the whole place closes at 3.00 pm We knew breakfast was continental but was very basic, 2 slices of white bread, 2 slices of brown bread, 3 cold boiled eggs, no meats, cheeses or fresh rolls and the usual juice and yoghurt Returned after a day out and shocked to find room hadn’t been serviced, no bed made, bathroom not refreshed and mugs not washed, not what we expected for a higher priced room. Decided to eat in hotel tonight, really disappointed with what was offered, pics on website looked very appetising but when presented were just low quality quick cook bar food, unfortunately didn’t eat much of it Went down to breakfast the second morning, 2 slices of white bread, 2 slices stale brown bread, no eggs. We asked if there was any eggs, girl said she’d look, came back and said they must’ve been used yesterday, REALLY?? She did ask if we’d like her to boil a couple for us and we were thankful for that as we had a long journey in front of us To say we were disappointed with our stay is an understatement, for the price of our room we expected a bit more, the hotel was a Four in a Bed winner a few years ago but staying there shows how it now needs a bit of TLC as it’s a lovely building, plenty parking and walking distance into town

Restaurant food was good however waited 40mins to be served.

Bar was ok however no real ale and on Friday night they ran out of Guinness, room was small and scuff marks on the walls also a bad odour. Bathroom dirty and a deposit left in the toilet. Part of the shower didn’t work. My room was an upgrade to basic but only got a view of car park.

Modern and clean

Room was well updated with all the expected necessities. Couldn’t hear the bar at all and I was the closest room, so that was amazing. Free breakfast was a surprise!

The bed was VERY firm.

Hotellet ligger riktigt bra till och var riktigt bra med egen sidodörr för 24h tillgänglighet. Trevlig personal och trevliga rum, finns ingenting mer att önska, outstanding bra.

Fönster var ej tätt och stod och slog hela natten och gjorde ljud, samtidigt som det drog in kall luft.

Nice quiet hotel a short walk from town centre. Everything you need for a stay. Like that you have a little jug to help fill the kettle. Staff very good and welcoming

Me and my wife Jane finally got married on the 4th April. The venue Quayside Hotel did an amazing job A special mention to Charlize and Tiffany. The girls behind the bar who worked none stop and a special mention to Dom the chef whose food was absolutely amazing. All my family stayed in the hotel and could not fault the rooms Thank you Gary & Jane Dunworth

Initial problems with the television but staff were proactive in solving the problem and offered a complimentary bottle of wine as recompense

Just been here with my partner for my birthday. I had the sea food platter and then Tuscan salmon and my partner had the quayside Jack burger and fries and a couple of drinks. Cannot fault the staff or the service. Not waiting ages like some places and the food was absolutely delicious. Piping hot. If I was a really greedy pig I could eat it twice it was that nice. Well done chef. Was equally as good as last time we were there and the price is really reasonable for the quality of food on offer. Will be back again. Well done everyone.

Very nice location large room and clean and warm

Upon entering very poor service to be served a drink The music was boom boom yet the clientele were all mid 40s upwards? Would have been far better if it wasn’t so loud !! The menu’s were varied but didn’t offer salads or smaller portions Staff service was very good We slept well and was woken by loud music coming from downstairs this was at 0730hrs

Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had booked room only but they provided a complementary continental breakfast, which was a bonus. The food in the restaurant was very tasty, good value for money and there was plenty of choice.

The room was comfortable, clean, and modern.

Exceptional value for money, food in the restaurant absolutely first class and every member of staff so helpful. Lovely decor and very clean throughout. Room 21 was outstanding. Can’t thank the staff enough with their assistance with a medical issue in the evening.

There was nothing not to like and was my 3rd or 4th visit and will be returning soon

Room smelt of smoke, bathroom was too small either no extraction so not pleasant to use. Music in the bar was very loud for a Monday night.

Everything!! Been travelling the globe for 55years and have found hotel UTOPIA! Location amazing, clean and comfortable. Friendliest and helpful staff ever. Food out of this world and plenty of tea and coffee provided. Parking top notch! Brilliant stay!

Breakfast was okay but would have been nice to see eggs & ham added, rather than just cereals fruit pastries and bread for toast. Toilet was small.

Stayed here for one night, the staff were great, the food lovely, the decor and bathroom fantastic, but the bed was dreadful, rock hard and lumpy and bumpy, so bad we had no sleep.

Rooms were very clean, staff very friendly, especially Arena,( sorry have probably incorrectly spelt her name) who greeted us both mornings at breakfast. Very good choice of items for breakfast, evening meal in the restaurant was excellent.

Hard to find anything negative, if you pushed me to say something I would say some hooks for hanging towels on the bathroom door would be helpful as it was a very small space.

The decor, the friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking,very reasonable price. The bar area is fantastic. And of course the event we attended was suberb.

Room was too hot and couldn't work out how to open the window. Maybe the option of a cooked breakfast. I didnt see that as an option bug perhaps I missed it.

We stayed as we were attending an event at the hotel so it was very convenient

The only problem we had was we couldn’t switch the tv on which was but a small thing.

We were in deluxe double room (room 10) which was right above the bar so very noisy when bar below open. But main issue was the bed which was very uncomfortable and mattress needs to be replaced as springs dig into you

Love this place food is always good and good size portions, consistently good. Staff always polite and friendly. James is always chatty and happy to help, goes above and beyond.
