MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam Amstel

Muy cómodo para desplazarte al centro de la ciudad, al lado de la estación de metro y tranvía, que te lleva al centro en cinco minutos. Fácil conexión aeropuerto. El hotel tiene una zona de cocina común y para sentarte muy práctica, además frente a un súper. Instalaciones modernas y limpias. Fue un acierto.

Quizás las habitaciones algo pequeñas pero suficiente espacio y práctico.

Clean rooms with very comfortable beds & bedding. Built in fan system to keep room cool was great to have. Sound proof so we got peaceful nights rest. The kitchen was very valuable as we ended up going to the supermarket just across the road to buy items for breakfast/dinner and prep in the lovely clean kitchen. Location was great, right next to the train station & only 10 mins from Amsterdam Centraal. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Water filter was invaluable.

Breakfast is expensive. Everything has a charge. Most hotels will store your luggage after checking out for free but not here.

The property is right beside the Amsterdam Amstel Station which makes it very easy to get into Central Amsterdam as a tourist. The facilities at the property are also very good! There is coffee and tea available at a small price and the coffee is amazing. The dorm rooms are very well maintained and there is room cleaning everyday even in the dorm rooms. The beds are super comfortable as well. It’s one of the best dorm rooms I’ve stayed in. The staff are really nice and helpful. Overall, my stay was pretty good!

El alojamiento bien en general, quería agradecer el trato por parte de una de las chicas de recepción, una chica con piercings, tuvimos un problema con mi hija y ella se comportó de manera espectacular, llamó a la ambulancia, hablo con ellos, explico todo a los servicios sanitarios, estuvo pendiente en todo momento con nosotros, estanos muy muy agradecidos por cómo nos ayudo en todo momento

The location is very accessible to the metro station and very convenient to go to supermarket as well. Justine, the staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Adjacent to Amstel station and a huge car park so arrival, parking, and getting around is super easy. Booking.com is incorrect - parking is valid for 24hr, not 3pm on the day of departure, which was much better for us as we arrived late. Greeted very warmly and were in our room in 2 mins. Online check-in before arrival was useful but a bit clunky - it registered we had booked parking prior but not breakfast so I had to call MEININGER office (which was a totally different experience - unfriendly and reluctant service) and defeated the purpose of checking in online. Rooms are fantastic - we had a very ample-sized 6 person dorm for our 5 person family. Everything is well thought out - separate toilet and shower, lights inside each room, all the doors are super quiet so you can sneak around in the morning/at night without waking kids, light above each bed, bunk beds closed in around heads for a bit of privacy and protection from lights. There was no noise from the corridor at night which I was worried about in view of it being a hostel. Breakfast - continental buffet, nothing extraordinary but absolutely fine, and plenty of it. Arcades, pool, air hockey etc in the lobby - kids loved these.

Only two elevators for six floors with nearly 200 rooms made it a bit slow.

La struttura è molto accogliente e pulita. Perfetta per un soggiorno con i ragazzi. Vicinissima al centro città. Abbiamo apprezzato molto i servizi.

Eravamo in 4 in una quadrupla e abbiamo trovato solo 2 asciugamani all' ingresso. È vero che si possono richiedere al bisogno, ma comunque erano davvero poche per 4. A parte questo piccolo particolare, è stato tutto perfetto

La cucina rispetto ad altri Meiningher era più piccola e con tantissimi ospiti risulta meno pratica, ma va bene. Forse nelle stanze mancano punti per appoggiare i propri effetti personali

Muy bien comunicado, junto a estación de tren, autobús y tranvía. Supermercado al otro lado de la calle. Habitación no muy grande pero cómoda. Toallas incluidas. Zonas comunes con juegos para los niños. Cocina equipada de uso común. Posibilidad de alquilar bicis. Personal muy amable. Muy recomendable para familias.

Good space and rooms fitting a family of 5. Nice amenities and leisure space in the common areas. Price was good, for the outrageous prices of Amsterdam.

Microwave in the kitchen was not working (a capital piece for a hotel like this). Personnel at the reception could be friendlier. Location is not outstanding, but well connected.

I liked the location, close to Amstel train station, there is a Jumbo market very close, there is a McDonalds next to Jumbo. The room is large enough.

I didn't like the initial check-in process and the infos provided which were not in full. I didn't like the fact that although on booking.com is mentioned to be parking agreed at a nearby parking area with a special price, there is no such kind of service, you pay the standard price. I didn't like the lamps stuck in the headboard which easily broke. I totally didn't like the breakfast, very poor and low quality products, small area for breakfast.

Prezzo, estrema cortesia personale alla reception (Cris in particolare), personale che parlava anche italiano, tanti servizi per chi non vuole spendere per mangiare o stare fuori (cucina condivisa, tavoli, perfino videogiochi a buon prezzo)

Pulizia giornaliera della camera richiesta espressamente alla reception, primo giorno saltata e secondo giorno ( di tre) dovuta sollecitare perché iniziano sul tardi a fare le camere e hanno comunque la precedenza le camere di gente che deve arrivare rispetto agli ospiti esistenti. Lo standard di gestione della pulizia è ben lontano da quello italiano, le liste dei riordini troppo stringenti, apparentemente senza flessibilità sul piano di cambiare un ordine preimpostato da parte dell'operatore di piano. Ok, ma almeno che si cominci prima a fare le camere e si diano ai clienti cartellini do not disturb se la stanza non è ancora disponibile per la pulizia. Arredamento stanze davvero troppo BASIC, sentita mancanza di almeno un piccolo vano armadio classico e di letti un poco più comodi, ma alcuni elementi erano invece ben disegnati pur nell'essenzialita' ( lucine sopra la testa nei letti, bagno comunque grande). Rapporto qualità prezzo comunque molto valido

Bel hôtel bien situé, bon rapport qualité prix, tout près des transports, parfait. Chambres propres et très agréables, même en dortoir. Personnel accueillant.

Préciser quels park and ride sont possibles quand on vient en voiture...Celui de Zeeburg est très bien mais il faut acheter la carte OVchip pour bénéficier de la réduction de prix à 6€/jour au lieu de 36€...

Very nice people, relaxed atmosphere. We loved that mix having a hotel with breakfast but still the opportunity to have dinner by ourselves or even cook something.

No te limpian la habitación si no lo pides el día previo. El día que lo pedimos, solo hicieron las camas. No limpiaron y se olvidaron de dejarnos las toallas, aunque bajamos a recepción y nos las dieron. Tienes taquillas para dejar el equipaje pero sin de pago (4€ por 6 horas cada taquilla)

Sólo que estaba al lado de una estación de tren y metro

La relación calidad precio era pésima. Las habitaciones eran enanas, nada que ver con las fotos al hacer la reserva. La limpieza un desastre. Tienes que pedir que te hagan la habitación el día antes, y aunque te la hagan, ni barren ni está limpia. Por otro lado, es un hostal abarrotado de gente. No le recomiendo a nadie de más de 20 años este alojamiento

Cuando limpiaron la habitación se llevaron cosas mías de la habitación y no las devolvieron. Dijeron que se pondrían en contacto con nosotros y aún no han llamado.

The customer service was excellent. We were made to feel welcome. The breakfast was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were really quiet. We slept well.

The location is JUST PERFECT! Is right next to the Amstel Station which connects to everything. It has breakfast, food for sale and laundry. And there is elevator, so you don’t have to carry you luggage up narrow stairs

Ideal für Familien und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr ruhig. Angenehme Atmosphäre mit netten Gästen und freundlichem Ambiente. Das Frühstück war einfach aber völlig ausreichend und mit genügend Vielfalt. In die Innenstadt kommt man ganz schnell mit der Metro und das Auto kann bequem in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden.

Der gebuchte und bestätigte Early Check in war nicht im System und wir mussten kurz warten, bis dann doch ein passendes Zimmer gereinigt war.

The location was great. Very easy access to the train. Check in was easy. We were a large group and they were very accommodating. The facility was very clean ad the breakfast was delicious. Very good selection. Very walkable neighbourhood.

J'ai réservé deux chambres, mais je me retrouve avec une chambre et un lit à partager avec des inconnus dans une chambre. Il n'était écrit nulle part que nous aurions cela. Nous sommes une famille, pas un groupe d'amis. Quand j'ai demandé une chambre privée, c'était complet.

No está muy céntrico, pero el metro está justo al lado. Se puede ir andando al centro, sin sensación de peligro.

Me ha gustado mucho el servicio de recepción, todas las disponibilidades a servicio del clientes (máquinas expendedoras, máquinas recreativas, dispensador de agua, salas comunes…), las vistas de la habitación de la ciudad, el ambiente y seguridad, etc.

Lo que es mejorable de este alojamiento es la iluminación de las habitaciones ya que era bastante oscura y no contaba con suficientes lámparas/luces. Además, mejoraría el sistema de códigos y alquiler de las taquillas/lockers.

L'emplacement, juste à côté du metro et d'autres transports publiques. Parking intérieur, ce n'est pas gratuit mais on est tranquilles pour tout le séjour. J'ai eu un petit soucis pour sortir, mais c'est parce que je n'ai pas trop bien compris les consignes pour sortir, et un des réceptionnistes est venu avec nous jusqu'au parking pour nous aider à sortir. Pour la chambre rien à dire.

It’s a nice hotel like hostel. The beds are good, bathroom is clean and decent. They even waived off my overtime of bike rental. So that was really kind of them. It’s located in a quiet area so that was nice too. I personally hate living in the tourist centres of cities.

Nice and cozy place to stay, they have a water dispenser that everyone can take.. nice one.. The room quite comfy, some is to small for 4 people.. but its not bad..

Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Der Kaffee war gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber aber etwas beengt (4 Bett). Es herrschte eine fröhliche Stimmung durch die vielen jugendlichen Gäste.

Die Küche war oft beschlagnahmt von den Jugendlichen und auch etwas beengt.

Location perfect for a trip intended to both explore the centre of Amsterdam and attend an event at the Amsterdam ArenA. Literally next door to metro, tram and bus. Room exactly as seen in the photos. Hotel has a lot of facilities including water fountain, shop, arcade/games, cooking and cleaning.

A little confusion when we first arrived resulted in 2 members of staff coming into our room about half an hour apart on the day we arrived. Didn't happen again (that we were aware of) but did create a little uncertainty regarding security.

Brilliant location, train station right next to hotel and only a 10 minute journey to get to Amsterdam central. Supermarket, McDonald's and coffee shop on doorstep. Nice walks near by. Not far from airport. Staff were lovely and really helpful.

I found the bed a little uncomfortable but my children all thought they were really comfortable.

Muito barulho para dormir. Os adolescentes chegam de madrugada das festas e fazem muito barulho nos corredores e nos quartos, por isso minhas noites de sono foram muito ruins. Tem um dispositivo que mantém o quarto em uma temperatura, mas sentimos um pouco de calor principalmente no inicio da dormida.
