쇼지호와 함께 후지산이 정면으로 보이는 매우 아름다운 뷰를 자랑하는 호텔입니다. 직원 분들도 매우 친절하시고, 조식도 매우 맛있었습니다. 날씨가 좋은 밤에 별을 보러 나갔다가 우연히 야생 사슴을 보기도 하는 등 매우 특별한 경험을 많이 할 수 있었습니다.

도심과는 다소 거리가 있어, 반드시 차로 이동하셔야 하는 불편함은 있습니다.

目の前に富士山が見え、部屋もリノベーションされていて、綺麗で快適でした。スタッフの皆さんも親切です。 朝食がとても美味しかった。

強いて言えば、夕飯を予約していなかった為、買いに行ったが、コンビニが少し遠かった。

マウンテンビューのお部屋は最高でした。 富士山が全景見られて、夜と早朝の富士山はカレンダーで見るような景色に大満足でした。ホテル自体はかなりレトロですが、そこは問題ないほどでした。

It was a reasonably priced option with a nice restaurant next-door so we didn’t have to drive far.

It was a bit too far from the lake, so the view is not quite as spectacular as we had hoped.

This hotel and its fabulous staff was a rare a wonderful three day treasure in our three week adventure through Japan. From the excellent Japanese breakfast and dinners, the spacious and sweetly kitted out onsen, and the incredibly patient, sincere and generous staff members, Mount Shoji Hotel exceeded our every expectation. Beyond the 1970s aesthetic is genuine and heartfelt attention to detail and guests' care. Our balcony room offered us a commanding view of Mt Fuji, a breathtaking sight to wake to on our first morning. Whilst dated, our room facilities were very clean, comfortable and included a wonderful window spa. The true beauty of Mount Shoji Hotel is not just it's excellent location for keen hikers, nature lovers and Fuji sightseers. It's its people. El horario de autobuses es bastante limitado, pero si te mueves en coche todo genial

De locatie is prachtig, het is er heerlijk rustig en het uitzicht is fenomenaal. Het is ook superleuk om echt Japans te slapen op een futon in een Tatami kamer.

Albergo bellissimo in posizione perfetta per vedere il monte fuji. Peccato ci fosse nebbia! Nonostante tutto il soggiorno è andato oltre le aspettative. La camera che abbiamo scelto è in stile classico, divisa in tre ambienti e un comodo bagno. È fornita di tatami e 'futon' e di un bellissimo salottino con vista sul lago e sul Fuji. Ci hanno fornito anche i classici e comodi yukata per tutta la permanenza. Abbiamo scelto di cenare e fare la colazione classica e ci è piaciuto molto. Inoltre il personale è gentile e disponibile. La cosa più bella di tutte è l'onsen. Consiglio vivamente questo bellissimo hotel

정~말 좋았습니다. 첫날과 둘째날은 후지산뷰가 아니어서 아쉬웠는데 마지막 날 구름이 걷히고 후지산이 보이니 정말 백만불짜리 뷰입니다. 바로 앞에 쇼치코 호수에 내려가 후지산을 바라보는 경험은 최고입니다. 스태프 분들 모두 친절하십니다. 고바야시님은 호텔 앞에 '핫스팟' 드라마 관련 장소도 알려주시고 사진도 찍어주셨습니다. 깔끔한 조식도 매우 훌륭합니다. 드라마 '핫스팟'을 보고 방문했는데, 위치가 정말 최고입니다. 단풍이 드는 가을에 다시 방문하고 싶습니다.

Excellent location, it faces mount Fuji and it's 200m or less to the lake side. If Kawaguchiko is like a students hostel at the start of summer... Utter madhouse and lake Shoji is like a zen garden. I went for astrophotography so I'll share pics taken from my balcony. Speaking of which, I requested for a room facing the lake for astrophotography and they kindly gave me one on the top floor with the best view. All pictures from my room, except for one from dining.

Only complaint.... The toilet is next to the main door while the bath and hand sink is at the opposite end. Made total sense of course because I soaked in the bath while staring at mount Fuji. But because I didn't realise it was at the opposite end, I thought there were no toilets in the room and went to use the common ones initially. Totally my fault for not noticing but... It's as close to a complaint as I can find😂😂

Wagyu dinner was amazing. Spacious bedroom with great views. It's an old hotel, but kept clean. Away from the tourist masses and we had own car so could explore independently as it has limited bus schedules.

Incredible location which turned out to be iconic due to a recent aliens show. Beautiful unobstructed view on Fuji, very pleasant restaurant nearby, possible to walk to Aokigahara forest.

Confusing restaurant schedule — out of the 4 attempts to have breakfast/dinner at the hotel place, we only managed to do it once. You basically have a 1 hour window to have dinner at the hotel and need to make breakfast arrangements in advance. Unfortunately, staff weren’t very helpful or open to find a solution.

It a and older hotel but you choose this hotel for the perfect location and view on Mnt Fuji. Early morning when the sky is clear you can see the mountail mirrored in Lake Shoji. The room is nice and comfortable and there s a small seating area in the front with a nice view on the lake and Mnt Fuji. Go outside the hotel and turn right for a small but "homey"restaurant with nice food. Make a reservation first because its a small restaurant.

Everything. Nice spot and not crowded. Very peaceful. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The room is clean and has a perfect view of Mt. Fuji.

I absolutely loved the lakefront location. It's spectacular to wake up and see the mountain from my room's window. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, contemplating the beauty of nature, and fully experiencing Japanese culture. Without a doubt, a classic yet wonderful place.

Location and views from room or hotel grounds are fantastic. In spite of the hotel looking very run down it has certain appeal and I guess I would stay there again.

To reach reception you have to climb appx 10 steps and if your room is on 3rd floor you have again to take some steps down to get to elevator. If you are carrying a suitcase it is not a great option. There was no one on reception offering help which we found strange. However if you are lucky and Fuji is not in clouds you would be presented with spectacular views.

Very beautiful rooms, I recommend the Japanese style room. Amazing views to Mount Fuji.

Location .. beautiful view of lake, Mt Fuji, Sakura season !! Just magnificent! Hiking trails also… there is a great winery , Fujisan Winery nearby with excellent il wines and cafe with excellent food. The staff was friendly and helpful.

방음이 잘 안되고. 물도 150엔으로 구매하셔야합니다. 1층에는 무료 커피가 있어요.

Las vistas al Monte Fuji eran inmejorables. La habitación pequeña pero muy bonita y funcional. El personal muy amable y servicial. También añadimos servicio de cena y nos pareció exquisita por un precio bastante razonable. Repetiríamos sin duda en este alojamiento.

I chose the hotel for the balcony views to Mt Fuji. It was perfect with 4th floor gave uninterrupted views to the lake and the mountain from my balcony. I coukd lie in bed and view the mountain and the bathroom even had a window which could be opened to see the mountain from the bath. My room was immaculately clean. The onsen experience was wonderful with a lovely garden view whilst seated in a bath made from 1000+ year old Japanese cypress. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

One small thing I would like to suggest is on arrival they ask if a dinner and breakfast time would like to be booked in. I did not realise I had to book breakfast and so missed out. Although breakfast ended at 9am and began at 7.30am when I arrived I was told they could not accommodate me for a later time. I was disappointed but accept that it was my mistake.

Die Lage am Shoji See war unbeschreiblich! Jeden Tag mit dieser Aussicht aufzuwachen war einfach magisch. Zimmer sehr geräumig und das Essen im Hotel was man vorbestellen musste sehr lecker

Die Zimmer waren älter was man leider gerochen hat. Und paar kleine Flecken auf der Bettwäsche. Aber nicht extrem schlimm. Sonst sehr sauber.

We loved this hotel so much. The staff were so lovely and some spoke good English. The views of Fuji are amazing and it isn’t too touristy. It’s remote which we liked but there is a convenience store 3 minute drive away. We ate in the restaurant and had the steak. This was the best meal we’ve had our whole trip. The beds were comfortable and the room was big.

The size of the room was amazing. It was clean & comfortable with an amazing view if My Fuji wasn't hiding behind clouds.

The layout of the room. The toilet looked like a cupboard & it was on the other side of the room from the basin to wash your hands. This wasn't a big issue though.

目の前が精進湖で、富士山越しに朝日がのぼってくるところを見たい！と思ったら、ホテルから徒歩でスタスタ歩いたらすぐ見られる！というロケーションが最高でした！

お風呂が24時間と書いてあったのを期待していたが、実際は深夜帯は入れないように変わっていた事や、脱衣所の掃除？があまりされていないのか、髪の毛だらけだったのは気持ち悪く感じました。 ただ、お部屋や共有のスペースは綺麗にされている印象でした。
