Csodás volt , életem egyik legszebb szàllása ! Az ágyból nézhettem a víz esést ! Tiszta s gyönyörű volt ! Ide biztos vissza térek ! Ha valaki Ella-ban keres szállást , nem kérdés , ez nekem 5 csillag !

Das Personal hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und ist auf alle unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Der Ausblick auf den Ella Rock ist fantastisch. Wir konnten jeden Morgen Affen in den umliegenden Bäumen und auf dem Gelände beobachten. Das Zentrum von Ella, seine Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Selbst zur Nine Arch Bridge und Little Adams Peak konnten wir laufen. Man muss einige Treppen auf dem Anwesen laufen, dass muss einem bewusst sein, man wird aber durch einen wundervollen Ausblick belohnt. Für uns als Familie mit Kindern im Alter 14 unf 12 überhaupt kein Problem. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber und im Bad hat alles funktioniert.

Die Stühle auf der Terrasse könnten etwas bequemer sein.

Parking a but hard to access, and a bit if a walk yo the room in the middle of the hill.

It’s got a long walk to the rooms there will be boys to help but it’s a long walk will kill you and if you have a lowerd car u can’t take that in

La vue incroyable depuis la terrasse. Le confort du lit. La proximité avec le centre de Ella.

Difficile d'accès avec les nombreux escaliers mais également avec une forte pente pour y accéder à l'accueil à pied. Odeur désagréable d'évacuation dans la salle de bain. Pas de conseils ou recommandations sur ce que nous pouvons faire dans les environs. C'était le seul logement à ne pas proposer le petit déjeuné, ce qui est dommage car ça serait très agréable de pouvoir petit déjeuner le matin avec cette magnifique vue.

Wifi is not so strong. For important meetings you might ask for a desk at the reception where connectivity is more reliable. We did that and it was perfect. Yes the stairs are quite something but everybody wants a bit of movement and their life and the views are well worth it!

The staff were polite and helpful. They even called me before the trip and gave me advice about the pekoe trails I was planning to explore. When I got there, they came to the bottom of the street to guide me to the location. The breakfast was excellent.

I didn't like the fact that booking.com says breakfast is included but the hotel says I needed to pay extra for breakfast. I also didn't like the fact that access to the property was through a very steep road. My car, being front wheel drive, struggled to grip the road. That was scary.

Amazing view, great location

We were asked to pay the night before we left as we were leaving early the next day, which wasn’t an issue at all. However we were told the price so we went back to our room and got the cash to pay. They then didn’t have any change so told us to pay the next morning instead. When we went to pay the following morning we were told a completely different price and when challenged we didn’t get an answer other than “it’s what my boss said”. This is absolutely no criticism of the employee but rather the manager who failed to communicate this with us.

Το θετικό αυτού του ξενοδοχείου είναι η θέα, που είναι μαγευτική. Επίσης είναι αρκετά άνετο, με μεγάλα κρεβάτια τα οποία είχαν κουνουπιέρα.

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι υπό κατασκευή, και χωρίζεται σε δύο ξενοδοχεία, πράγμα που δεν είχαμε καταλάβει στην κρατηση. Το Viewfront Ella και το Mountjoy. Φτάνεις σε ένα parking αυτοκινήτων που δεξιά υπάρχει μια μικρή πόρτα που ξεκινάνε τα σκαλιά για τα δωμάτια. Την πρώτη μέρα μας έβαλαν σε ένα δωμάτιο που έπρεπε να περπατήσεις 3 ορόφους κάτω μέσα από υλικά οικοδομής στη βροχή και να φτάσεις σε ένα δωμάτιο στο βάθος της πλαγιάς που έχει στο μονοπάτι πρόχειρο αυτοσχέδιο φωτισμό. Όταν είπαμε ότι δεν είμαστε καθόλου ικανοποιημένες με το να περπατάμε 10' για να φτάσουμε στο ξενοδοχείο μας άλλαξαν δωμάτιο και μας έβαλαν σε ένα πιο κοντά στην έξοδο. Πιστεύω ότι θα έπρεπε να ενημερώσουν ότι το ξενοδοχείο είναι under construction. Δεν δέχτηκαν πληρωμή με κάρτα.

I like most beautiful view include mountains, waterfall, train bridge and calm and clean environment. It is a good place for stay with looking the view.

We had a wonderful stay at Viewfront Ella. The views from the property are absolutely stunning and truly add to the overall experience of staying in Ella. A special mention to Kevin, the manager, who provided exceptional customer service. His hospitality, attentiveness, and willingness to help made our stay even more memorable — truly one of the best service experiences we’ve had. Just a small note for future guests: the property involves stairs, so it may be something to consider if you are traveling with elderly family members. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella.

No air conditioning leading to a humid room It was not possible to refresh air, cause opening the windows would have lead monkeys inside. It felt quickly dirty in the bedsheets (cause humide) Entrance door is made of glass ; i had to manually remove the light bubble to reduce the light from outside.

Roads

Une vue splendide depuis la terrasse, vraiment à couper le souffle. Pas de climatisation dans la chambre, mais inutile vu la fraîcheur d’Ella. Le personnel et propriétaire sont adorables. L’hôtel se trouve à environ 13/14 minutes à pied de la gare, avec de nombreux restaurants aux alentours. Bonus sympathique : le matin, il arrive que de petits singes viennent sur la terrasse.

À savoir : l’accès se fait par une pente assez raide puis plusieurs escaliers pour atteindre les chambres. Thusita vous aide à porter les valises.

העליה למקום האירוח הייתה קשוחה מאוד, 3 עליות מאוד תלולות שקשה לעשות באןפן יומיומי. בתוך מקום האירוח עצמו הייתה כמות מדרגןת מטורפת שהיה קשה לבצע באופן יומיומי - ברמה שדאגנו לצאת בבןקר עם כל הדברים שאנחנו צריכים למהלך היום בשביל לא לחזור עד הערב

Чудове місце розташування, трохи далі від шуму та близько до центру, сучасна кімната зі всіма зручностями і дуже привітний власник та працівники. Вирішили усі наші запитання по ходу перебування ) Кімната чистенька …ідеальне співвідношення ціни та якості Там є невеличке будівництво, але це не завадить відпочинку, воно просто на шляху до кімнати!

Те на що звернула увагу це брудне скло/вікон, сподіваюсь колись у власника буде більше персоналу і віконця також прибератимуться

Het uitzicht, net buiten het centrum waardoor je geen last hebt van de drukte. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en regelt van alles voor je. Onze dochter was jarig en ze hadden de kamer versierd, zo ontzettend lief.

Ze zijn nog volop aan het bouwen waardoor het lijkt of je in een bouwplaats komt maar bij het appartement merk je er niets van. En je moet behoorlijk wat trappen naar beneden maar personeel staat altijd klaar om je te helpen met je bagage.

Das Bett war bequem und der Mitarbeiter war sehr bemüht und bei allen Fragen und Problemen zu helfen dazu gab es ein kostenloses Frühstück am Abreise Morgen. Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf die Berge war sehr schön und nicht vergessen zu erwähnen ist, das genügend Steckdosen vorhanden waren, die auch gut funktionierten.

Der Manager vergaß, trotz Absprache die Buchung unserer Bahntickets. Nach viel hin und her geschreibe hat er es dann schlußendlich doch noch geschafft. Das zu der Unterkunft ein steiler Berg hinauf führte war bekannt. Das wir allerdings noch über eine Baustelle laufen und ca 40 Stufen über die Baustelle müssen nicht. Ebenso können wir nicht bestätigen, dass es in der Unterkunft ruhig ist, da genau unter dem Zimmer die Bergstraße nach Ella verläuft. Das Zimmer roch nach Farbe und war allgemein sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit etwas aufzuhängen und außer einem kleinen Tisch auch keine abstellmöglichkeiten. Dabei war das Zimmer sehr groß und bietet den Platz um diese zu schaffen.

The staff were so kind and helpful with arranging tuktuk and luggage. We loved waking up to the views- absolutely amazing. Very clean, even though that it is amongst the trees but absolutely spotless. They provided tea and water too.

Getting to the actual room was slightly tricky with heavy luggage, BUT we had help from Thusian who kindly took the suitcases down for us. Therefore did not end up being a problem for us. The view from the room made it all worth it.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a fridge and a balcony offering a beautiful view. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making the stay very pleasant.

The access to the property is a bit tricky, especially with heavy luggage, but the helpful staff makes up for it by offering assistance.

Our stay on the top floor of this hotel has the most amazing views of the entire valley. The room was quiet and spacious.

The shared kitchen was kind of a makeshift set up. The sink was not clean, and the sponges there to wash dishes were old and used to death... I can only imagine the amount of germs on that.

La vue est sublime et la chambre très propre !! Thuwan et son collègue était aux petits soins pour porter nos valises et nous donner des conseils sur les horaires de bus, les taxis notamment. On recommande😇

The view from the hotel is stunning. It was the most beautiful surprise. But the condition of the room was nasty to say the least. There was mould in the fridge and it smelt nasty. The cleaning was not done properly either, compared to other hotels. The service was good.

Amazing views from the room overlooking Ella Rock. Host was friendly and helpful in organising transport. Breakfast was lovely. Very quiet at night. We got fitter by the uphill walk to the hotel. There are steep stairs leading down into the motel but are manageable. Lots of birds, monkeys and squirrels near our balcony. We even saw a deer below. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Ella. 3 minute walk to Main Street.

Incredible views from the balcony, making the room a lovely place to relax. Rooms were very spacious and clean with a big bathroom. The staff were very helpful and had lots of tips and advice re local attractions and transport. Brilliant place to stay in Ella on a budget. Lots of steps down to the room and on a very steep hill but perfectly fine if you are fit. Fridge in the room is a bonus.

No complaints really. The shower didn't have much hot water but this is common for Sri Lanka.

Excellent location.. Very clean and comfortable with a great bathroom. The views are spectacular and our host was very helpful and assisted with our early wake up to get to the train station. In walking distance to the main street but away from the noise and busy tourist area. Great choice!

Room was very clean and reasonable price. The view was breath taking. Room waa very comfortable. I highly recommend the place to stay.

The view was absolutely surreal—lush green valleys stretched out below, and a cascading waterfall tumbled down the cliffs in the distance. Waking up to the sound of rushing water and birdsong felt like a dream. That said, reaching the stay wasn’t the easiest. There are quite a few steep steps involved to reach the stay and also need to go through some under construction building, so it might not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Also, while the room was comfortable, a little upgrade to the interiors could really elevate the overall feel of the space. Still, the stunning views and serene atmosphere more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a place where nature wraps around you and time seems to slow down, this is it.

Amazing views from all 3 rooms we booked. Very helpful and friendly host who helped us boo train tickets and taxis. Amazing breakfast at a very reasonable price (the best breakfast we’d had in Sri Lanka). Short walk into Ella town-great location walking distance to restaurants.

Lots of steps (as described in property description). Owner was very helpful carrying suitcases etc to help with this.

I booked the room after a not that good experience I had with another booking in Ella. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The view from the room is breathtaking. The staff was very kind and helpful and they arranged a transfer to the next destination for a fair price. Very close to the main road and all the shops.

A bit noisy but not annoying.

This was the best apartment during our stay in Sri Lanka. It has incredible view from the windows, you can even see the big waterfall when you wake up 🥰 it’s also very close to the Main Street but it’s calm and silent in the night. It also have a big balcony and bathroom, kettle and fridge inside! Hosts are exceptionally kind and offer very good breakfast for little money. It also have good WiFi, okay for remote work ;)

We had an amazing stay at viewfront. It was one of our cheapest hotels at our trip in sri lanka, so we didnt expect a lot, but it was very good. The room was big, the view amazing, there was a fridge and a mosquito net. On sunny days the warm water was working too. Friendly people, helped us with our bags at the stairs and helped us rent a scooter. Loved the location too. The main street of Ella is very busy and touristic. The was a bit from the mainstreet (only 5 min walk though!) With some very nice restaurants around the corner (much better than at the mainstreet).

The stairs... haha To get to the hotel, its a very steep street up and down. Then entering by stairs and even more stairs on the sight to get to our room. We are young healthy people and didnt expect it to bother us, but going back and forth to our room took a while.

Balkon wychodzi na ruchliwą ulicę i bywa głośno w nocy. Żeby się dostać do pokoju trzeba pokonać dużo schodów.

Die Aussicht war super und wir hatten einen direkten Blick auf den Wasserfall. Die Stadt ist fußläufig erreichbar. Einzig der Auf- und Abstieg ist anstrengend, aber etwas Sport am Tag schadet nicht 😉

I had the opportunity to spend time at this hotel and I am very impressed. The view from the window to the mountains was really amazing and made every morning start great. Breakfast was exceptional - abundant, fresh and varied, with something for everyone. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. However, it is worth noting that getting to the hotel can be problematic for people with disabilities, as there are many stairs. Nevertheless, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for beautiful views and a great atmosphere.

Помещение не вентилируется, в ванной грибок, постоянно влажно, балдахин грязный, с мертвыми насекомыми наверху, шумно, нужны беруши, очень сложный путь к отелю

Alles was goed!

The room was comfortable, nice views of the valley and surrounding hills. The path down to my room is forest. I saw grey hornbills and even a porcupine!

Because of the geography of the town, a lot of hotels are going to be up a steep road. However, at this one, after walking up the steep slope, you then walk down a shorter and steeper slope, then down many steps to get to your room, so you may not be as high up as some other hotels. I was in one of the lower rooms, which is 105 steps down from the road. It wasn't a big issue for me, but if you have fitness issues it's worth bearing in mind. But then Ella is probably not the best destination for you anyway! The main road was right below my room (see photo), and the trucks can be loud at night.
