Creston Villa Guest House

The whole house had been carefully decorated with Victorian antiques, which gave it a beautiful Victorian aesthetic. The couple who run the guest house were very friendly and accommodating. They offered to cook breakfast for me in the mornings, and there was plenty of complimentary tea, coffee, and nibbles. I loved everything about my stay here and will definately be going back at some point.

Our hosts Ian and Anna were very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse was really clean and we loved its vintage features. It was a great location just on the outskirts of the city centre walking distance to local attractions and the University to see our daughter. We particularly liked the river path. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and a nice touch of home baked cookies. There were complimentary refreshments available at all times and a stocked fridge with a selection of alcoholic drinks for a reasonable charge. We will definitely stay again. Thankyou!

Everything was just perfect

Everything was perfect, Iain and Anna are truly top hosts. It was like a home from home... the homemade chutneys and jam were a real treat. Iain and Anne are an absolutely brilliant team. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Only a few minutes from the City itself which was also charming.

The owners could not do another think wrong, the breakfast was really good plenty choice good quality food the owners said you could use this kitchen the fridge was stocked up every day, I asked for a sandwich no problem offer free cookies every day excellent advice on what to do the room was clean the tea tray was filled every free milk with you tea.

Iain and Anna are the most charming hosts we’ve met in a b&b super friendly folk. The house is unique characterful Victorian very welcoming feel right at home. It was continental breakfast good food and coffee. Literally the only negative is the street parking can be hit n miss I would definitely recommend this couple for anyone wanting homely.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, probably the most we've ever encountered - very outgoing and sociable. Having a guest lounge and being able to use the garden was a lovely bonus. The continental breakfast was very good.

We knew it was to be a continental breakfast and, as such, it was very good. However you can't beat a full English! For the price, a cooked breakfast would have been better. The lack of parking was known beforehand but could be an issue for some. Fortunately, staying for just 1 night, we were travelling light. Otherwise everything was very good

Iain and Anna are so welcoming and this seems to be a labour of love for them! The room was spotlessly clean and nothing is too much bother. The decor is eclectic, but that makes a pleasant change to rather bland chain hotel rooms. It’s the little things that make the difference - being greeted by name, sweets in the room, home-made preserves etc.. A real home-from-home.

Struggling to think of anything, but maybe just a separate bin in the room for recycling? See, I said I was struggling!

Such a lovely stay, felt like home from home. The hospitality is second to none. Both Anna and Iain are so warm and welcoming and have such a beautiful place.

Spotlessly clean and everything you needed in your room. Breakfast was unbelievable, spoilt for choice and everything was so fresh and some items home cooked

The owners were super kind and welcoming and we are very happy to have met them and stayed there. We liked the house very much, so charming, and the breakfast they prepared for us was excellent.

The breakfast was continental style, nice and with plenty of choice . The location was ok and what we expected, a 25 minute walk along the main road to Lincoln railway station and a much nicer 30 minute walk along the river to the marina.

The car parking was street parking around the side and back of the property, but nothing can be done about that , otherwise everything was good

The Pine Room at the back of the house was just as described and the bed, super comfy. Anna and Iain were exceptional hosts and I'd not hesitate to stay there again.

Creston villa Is the best hotel I have ever stayed in over my 59 years. The decor is excellent, it is clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was amazing and the owners Iain and Annie go to the greatest lengths to make your stay comfortable. Do not look any further for a place to stay in Lincoln.

Uncertainty of a parking space in surrounding side streets.

We were made welcome on arrival. It was during the excessive heat wave and there were fans everywhere to ensure we were comfortable. There is tea, coffee and cakes available all day, a garden area to sit in and breakfast is plentiful with home made marmalades and jams available. It is a 20 minute easy stroll to the city centre, or there is a bus stop outside if preferred. This is a little gem and I cannot recommend it highly enough

Zeer mooie kamer, schoon en keurig inorde. Voortreffelijk geslapen en een goed verzorgd ontbijt. Personeel (de eigenaren) zij waren gewoonweg top! Bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zodra we weer naar die regio gaan wordt dat weer onze verblijflocatie.👍

Dat er geen eigen parkeergelegenheid is, is wel jammer. Je moet de auto ergens op straat neerzetten, net daar waar plek is. Dit lukte overigens prima.

Anna and Iain were very warm and welcoming. Stunning home and the room was lovely. The continental breakfast was great and the extras that came with it. The back garden was a lovely place to sit and relax. I loved looking at all the little bits and bobs and left with some bling :) I couldn't have found a better place to stay in Lincoln.

Creston Villa is a gem of a guest house! We had a great experience in this stunning Victorian house decorated with antique furniture and items collected over the years. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Anna and Iain who are so charming and friendly! We had chosen the Victorian room and felt like we were back in time. It fully corresponds to the photos. The continental breakfast is excellent with among others home-made delicious chutney, jam and oat cookies. We highly recommend Creston Villa Guest House!

I had a wonderful experience at Creston Villa. The property is beautifully maintained with exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. Hosts Iain and Anna were friendly, polite, and eager to help. The location was also perfect, making commuting incredibly easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!

A unique b&b with exceptional charm. Our hosts were so engaging & interesting. Their generosity was sublime & we genuinely felt extremely welcome. Our bedroom was themed ”Victorian” and was fascinating, as was the breakfast room. Breakfast was termed ”Continental” and kept us going all day! Plus the delicious freebies forced on as we left - WOW! Thank you Anna & Iain.

The whole place was spotless. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Also the place was very convenient for the concert we were attending only a couple of hundred yards away so this was an added bonus

Didn,t like the fact there was no parking at the accommodation. However, we managed to get street parking but this made the streets surrounding the property very narrow.

This B&B is so warm and welcoming. You feel comfortable from the minute you step through the door thanks to Iain and Anna the owners. The cleanliness was first class, the beds were comfy, the room had so many extra decorative details to enhance the theme and the breakfast was delicious - a continental breakfast with some home made products too.

It's a shame there is no parking on site but there were spaces in the side roads nearby so it wasn't an issue.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Creston Villa. My hosts could not have been more welcoming and friendly. My room was a wonderful combination of comfort, convenience, charm and style. There was everything I could possible need. The interior of the house itself is a visual delight. Breakfast was excellent. More than ample with a wide selection of tasty options. I look forward to returning the next time I visit Lincoln.

Everything about my stay was lovely. There is so much to look at! The bed was both grand and comfortable, and there was lots of space. Lots of personal touches everywhere, tasty breakfast, friendly hosts, well situated. Would visit again in a hearts beat.

I had the most wonderful stay here - such a magical and cosy place to unwind. The room was beautifully presented, incredibly comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. The hosts truly go above and beyond to make your stay special, which makes all the difference. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would absolutely love to return!

Parking was free on the road behind the B&B but very busy.

Excellent hosts lovely breakfast great location for exploring Lincoln. Brilliant real ale pub The Tiny Tavern 5 minute walk away very quirky great beers.

On street parking was difficult as Lincoln football club had home match and streets were full. Was very lucky to get slot in walking distance. Could prove problematic for anyone who struggles to walk easily.

Everything you could imagine has been considered to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I had the best night’s sleep in a long time, and appreciated all the little extras such as fresh milk and snacks. The healthy breakfast was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the morning chats with Iaine and Anna

Ideally, I’d like onsite parking; but appreciate this isn’t always possible in a city centre location. Parking was still nearby, and good not to have to pay for an expensive carpark.

From start to finish, my stay at Creston Villa Guest House was absolutely wonderful. My train schedule on arrival day was unpredictable, but Iain couldn’t have been more accommodating—he reassured me it was no trouble and was kindly waiting to welcome me when I arrived. I happened to stay on the guest house’s 20th anniversary, which made the experience even more special. The house itself is charming, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. My room felt straight out of Bridgerton—elegant, cosy, and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was a highlight: a hearty continental spread enjoyed alongside lovely conversation with Iain and Anna. Their warmth and genuine hospitality shine through in everything they do. Hearing the story of how they built a successful family business together left me feeling inspired, and I even took away some tips of my own! Creston Villa is built with love, with easy access to Lincoln city centre, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat from city life. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Lincoln!

Difficult to write anything here. There is no direct parking onsite but that is made absolutely clear when you book, and prior to arrival, and free parking is available on side streets very close by - so it's not really a problem.

I had a wonderful stay at this property would recommend to all family and friends the owners were so friendly and inviting they catered for my food allergies and even made sure I was able to eat things safely on the breakfast table. They made my stay here perfect and can’t wait to return for another visit.
