The host was very welcoming, and we particularly appreciated the supply of fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room instead of little pots of long life. The breakfast choice was wide and freshly prepared so piping hot and cooked to perfection.
Nothing - it was an ideal place for the short stay we planned. Could have stayed longer except for time constraints.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Always enjoy travelling to Scotland to see my family, and this was the first time we’ve stayed at Harbour Lights Guesthouse. We had a twin room and it was immaculate, the bathroom had all kind of little supply’s you may need. Our view was lovely, we could see Agnew Park and the sea. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and had great customer service. Great value of money and we will definitely be back. Thank you! :)

The breakfast was perfectly cooked and our hosts were very friendly and hospitable. I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend it to others.

Das war aber auch schon bei der Buchung zu sehen. Kostenloses Parken an der Straße oder auf dem ebenfalls kostenlosen Long Stay Car Park gegenüber. Sehr gutes Frühstück,. Wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Nachts trotzdem sehr ruhig. Da auch im Bad ein großes Fenster. rückwärtig geöffnet werden kann. Obendrauf noch ein super gutes Frühstück. Breakfast was excellent, we all had full Scottish breakfast which was perfect to set up the day. The owners are exceptionally friendly, met us with a tot of whisky which was very warming, and nothing was any trouble. We would highly recommend the Harbour Lights Guesthouse and will definitely stay here again if in the area.
