L’esthétique de la chambre était génial. Le roof top très joli.

Le personnel trop intrusif, met mal à l’aise, la douche cassée (à fui pendant 2 jours sur 3). Coffre fort cassé également, changé par la suite, mais trop petit pour y contenir un ordinateur. Ce dernier était également transportable.. dommage.

The Riad looks Clean and good Value for money. The only problem is located inside Medina the best way to get in it’s by Motorbike because cars can’t go with in narrow streets but you can still get a taxi that can drop you close like 5 minutes walk.

El personal, tanto Adel como Youssef, fue encantador, súper atentos todo el tiempo y súper agradables. El desayuno era espectacular. Y las habitaciones super cómodas, en resumen todo genial

Arrivando alle 22 abbiamo prenotato la cena nel Riad: davvero una tipica cena marocchina ottima! Porzioni abbondanti e davvero buonissima! Il prezzo un po’ alto per la media di Marrackech: 25€ a persona! Buona anche la colazione però mi raccomando: non abbiate fretta, il servizio è un po’ lento! Altra nota positiva Youssef, il ragazzo che lavora nel Riad: cordiale, gentile e sempre disponibile anche per dare consigli su cosa visitare in città.

Purtroppo questo Riad non vale il prezzo che abbiamo pagato (210€ per 3 notti). La posizione non è delle migliori; è vicino al centro ma si trova in delle piccole stradine chiuse. Abbiamo utilizzato google maps, partendo dal link di Booking, e ci ha portato in una piccola piazzetta ma non all’ingresso del Riad. Un uomo ci ha accompagnato fino al Riad, senza non saremmo riusciti, peccato che poi ci ha chiesto dei soldi (2€) altrimenti non se ne sarebbe andato! La nostra era una camera doppia standard ma senza finestre (claustrofobia!), buia, calda, per fortuna il climatizzatore che non funzionava al meglio ma almeno come deumidificatore! E ve lo dice una che solitamente non patisce il caldo ma in quella camera si soffocava! Biancheria del bagno logora e addirittura l’accappatoio strappato. La doccia aperta per niente comoda e acqua calda pochissima. In generale il Riad ha delle grandi potenzialità ma manca di manutenzione! Le foto non corrispondono al vero, metá delle piante sono secche e purtroppo il tetto non viene utilizzato, quasi abbandonato, peccato perché ha una bella visuale dei tetti della città.

The welcoming staff, especially Adel, really made us feel at home with everything he did. He even made us breakfast to go when we had to leave at 07 in the morning. Also room and pool was nice.

Estaba todo muy limpio y bonito. Adele nos dio una atención muy buena y es muy majo y simpático, estaba todo el rato pendiente de todo y dándonos muy buenas indicaciones de cosas que hacer y ver por la zona. Merece muchísimo la pena venir a este Riad.

A éviter. Riad pas conforme au photo. Nous sommes arrivé, personne au Riad pour nous accueillir. Nous avons attendu 30 min que le réceptionniste se réveille de sa sieste. Nous sommes par la suite amener dans une chambre. La chambre n’est pas celle que j’ai payer et ne correspond pas au image du site. Il me dise qu elle est en travaux ou que la Clim ne marche pas. Au final on nous demande d attendre 1 ou 2 heure pour faire les travaux et nous déplacer de chambre. Un accueil donc pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous avons décider de quitter le Riad suite à une discussion avec le réceptionniste car l endroit n’est pas du tout comme les photos et pas entretenu. Nous nous sommes mis d accord sur une annulation gratuite accepter par le propriétaire au téléphone. Surprise quand nous sommes rentré l annulation a été refusée. J ai contacter par booking message et mail l établissement, il ignore mes comm. Arnaque.

O Yossef do staff foi incrível connosco. Ajudou-nos, deixou-nos confortáveis, serviu-nos pequenos almoço incrível. Arranjou-nos um transfer de segurança e confortável sempre que nos quiséssemos deslocar. Super prestável, simpático e humildade. Adorámos!!!!!!!! Recomendo

Riad Meriem is a beautiful establishment located in the heart of the Medina. The interior and facilities are clean and well presented and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Adel gave some great recommendations and became a good friend during my stay, both he and Youseff work very hard and go the extra mile to ensure visitors are as comfortable as possible and provide a fantastic breakfast each morning. If you are looking for the traditional riad experience I cannot recommend Meriem enough.

De service van Adil en Youssef. Hele vriendelijke heren die gastvrijheid en service hoog in het vaandel hebben staan. We hadden de eerste avond geen warm water maar dit is meteen heel goed opgelost door de heren van het verblijf.

De locatie was erg moeilijk te vinden. Het zag er iets minder mooi uit als op de foto’s.

Un magnifique riad idéalement situé à Marrakech. La décoration est sublime, soignée dans les moindres détails, avec beaucoup de charme et d’authenticité. L’ambiance y est chaleureuse et apaisante. Le service est tout simplement exceptionnel : toute l’équipe est accueillante, attentionnée et toujours prête à aider. Mention spéciale à Youssef, d’une grande gentillesse, très serviable et toujours disponible pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable. Une très belle expérience, je recommande sans hésiter 🙂 Je reviendrai !!

Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, welches uns sogar bei Anreise unser Taxi zum Flughafen organisiert hat und uns in der Nacht zum Taxi begleitet hat. Außerdem sehr leckeres Frühstück.

El lugar es muy bonito y está cuidado al detalle. Muy cerca del zoco pero suficientemente alejado para tener paz y silencio en los ratos de descanso. Lo mejor sin duda Youssef y Adel, nuestros anfitriones. Desde el primer momento nos han mimado como si fuéramos de la familia, nos han ayudado a encontrar restaurantes, lugares para visitar y siempre con una gran sonrisa. Ellos son el alma del Riad!!!

La struttura come ogni riad è interna quindi il primo giorno si fa un po’ fatica ma Youssef è stato davvero gentile, qualsiasi cosa era disponibile ci è venuto a prendere e riportare in un punto d’incontro la sera per non lasciarci fare la strada da sole di notte. Youssef è stato davvero fantastico è disponibile Riad molto bello Consiglio qualche luce e specchio in più in camera Per il resto tutto top!!!

Struttura molto caratteristica e silenziosa. Ha un buon potenziale ma molti dettagli vanno rivisti.

Purtroppo i luoghi comuni sono trascurati, abbiamo fatto colazione in terrazza ma sicuramente non veniva pulita da un pezzo. La stanza era carina ma abbastanza buia, in 4 giorni non è mai stato pulito il pavimento e relativi comodini molto impolverati già all’arrivo. Youseef sempre molto gentile e disponibile, ma non si può pretendere che un ragazzo gestisca una struttura di questo calibro.

Πολύ όμορφο κατάλυμα ατμοσφαιρικό ακριβώς όπως οι φωτογραφίες ! Το προσωπικό εξαιρετικό και πάρα πολύ ευγενικό . Ο Youssef ήταν πάρα πολύ βοηθητικός μαζί μας και πάρα πολύ ευγενικός να μας βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειαστούμε !

A személyzet kedves volt, a reggeli megfelelő és finom volt.

Csak egy éjszakát töltöttünk ezen a szálláson (szerencsére), és egyáltalán nem azt kaptuk, amit vártunk, a fotók alapján másra számítottunk. Jó néhány évvel ezelőtt valóban így nézhetett ki a riad, de azóta jelentősen lepukkant. Konnektorok lógtak a falból, alig találtunk használhatót. A függöny szakadt volt a szekrényen, a szőnyeg koszos volt, a WC ülőke is, a törülközők elhasználtak voltak. Az ágynemű sem tűnt kifogástalannak. A fürdőszobában nem volt megfelelő a víz lefolyása, nem tudtunk kényelmesen lezuhanyozni sem. Internetezni is nehéz volt a szobában a rossz lefedettség miatt, máshol ezzel nem volt problémánk a városban. A szoba nagyon sötét volt. A kültéri részletek csakúgy lepukkantak voltak, inkább gazosak, mint virágosak. A bejárati ajtó nehezen volt zárható és nem is zárták megfelelően, bárki be tudott jönni, a macskák is bejárkáltak. A riad elhelyezkedése is borzasztó, nem is értem azokat a véleményeket, amelyek ezt dicsérték. Messze van a főtértől, nehezen megtalálható és nagyon koszos, nem bizalomgerjesztő részeken kell áthaladni, kifejezetten kellemetlen volt. Összességében hatalmas csalódás volt a szállás, ha nem egy éjszakáról lett volna szó, biztosan másikat kerestünk volna, senkinek nem ajánlom. Az úr, aki fogadott bennünket, ettől függetlenül kedves volt, rá személyesen nem tudunk panaszkodni.

O Riad era muito bonito e agradavel, os funcionarios excelentes, duma amabilidade perfeita. O quarto onde ficamos era muito bom, com ar condicionado e muito limpo. Apenas fazia dois reparos, melhorava o pequeno almoco e o cuidado de terem fruta fresca e pao, e as toalhas podiam ser novas, pois nao estavam em bom estado apesas de lavadas. No geral gostamos.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Riad Meriem lors de notre voyage au Maroc. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement avec un délicieux thé marocain, une attention qui met immédiatement dans l’ambiance du lieu. La chambre était impeccable et très propre. Seul petit point à noter : le manque de luminosité, mais finalement cela renforçait le côté cocooning et reposant du riad, ce qui était très agréable après les journées passées dans les souks. Le petit déjeuner était un vrai moment de plaisir, servi soit autour du bassin, soit sur la terrasse. Un cadre calme et apaisant avant de partir se balader dans la médina. L’emplacement est parfait : à moins de 3 minutes à pied de la médina et des souks, tout en restant dans un calme absolu, bercé uniquement par le chant des oiseaux. Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Would have been good if there was a Fridge in the room, but these Riads aren’t meant to be modern like that - it was a lovely place to stay. Would recommend to a friend.

Amazing small riad with very hospitable and helpful staff. Youssef and Adel were fabulous, answering every question we had and helping with arrangement of our stay and sightseeing in Marrakesh and other parts of Morocco. 🇲🇦

All was great. there are reviews saying that the location is challenging. Agree that it is hard to find a first time but that is actually what makes this place so unique as well. You do not live with all the touristic crowds of the Marrakesh but you are able to experience real life of Moroccans living next door in small streets of Medina

Central location inside the Medina, charmingly calm riad with great service from Adel and Youssef. The guys helped immediately with all requests and also shared the best spots of the city. 5 nights there went very smoothly. Definitely it's worth it.

Initially, it wasn't easy to find this gem inside the tiny streets of Medina, but once you get used to it, you'll navigate like a local without any problem with orientation within the city.

Le personnel d'accueil était à l'écoute, très sympa et il nous a aidé à nous repérer dans la ville. Spéciale mention pour le travail incroyable de Youssef. Il a su nous renseigner correctement sur la ville et les alentours. Il fait attention aux petits détails qui rendent le séjour un peu plus agréable.

Cependant, il a y plusieurs points indépendamment loin du personnel d'accueil qui doivent être revus. L'accès au Riad est très compliqué (impossible en voiture). Le ménage n'était pas fait correctement (les tapis étaient sales, le sol n'était pas fait, il y avait des tas de poussière un peu partout dans la chambre). Etant alergique à la poussière j'ai du quitter le logement et louer à l'extérieur de Marrakesh. Sur les 3 nuits, nous ne sommes restés dans l'hôtel que la première nuit le temps de trouver autre chose. + Chambre sans fenêtres. Très déçu.

It is a beautiful, small property with only a few rooms and one staff member on at any point in time. So, the staff know you by name and are extremely helpful. Over my 5 days I had Adel and Yousef overseeing the Riad - both are knowledgeable and helpful guys who know the area and have many tips and tricks about a time in Marrakech. I cannot speak more highly of them. The Riad is a quiet oasis in the busyness of Marrakech. Even the lovely rooftop is protected from traffic noise, and has a beat combination of sun and shade.

Use Google Maps in standard (not satellite) mode to find your way there. Don't be scammed by locals showing you to the door for money... unless you need it?

Lovely riad and staff wonderful, very helpful. They organised us a taxi to the airport and took us and our luggage to the meeting point which saved a lot of stress! Also went out to get us special breakfast stuff for dietary requirements which was really kind.

A little tricky to find the first time, a sign at the end of the alley would have been helpful to know we were heading in the right direction. Room quite dark, for packing/getting dressed etc

Excellent location in the Medina, yet extremely peaceful, a very atmospheric Riad with lovely roof terrace and great staff. Youssef was very kind and looked after us well, a good host.

As almost Riads, Riad Meriem is location in some back alleys off of the road however it didn’t take long to orientate ourselves and feel comfortable in the location

the peace and quiet in the riad was something else the rooms are nice and spacious and overall nice place.

Yousef & Adel were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast and tea were very nice. The bathtub in our room was massive. Room was spacious. Due to the location of the Riad, which is quite secluded away from the main road, it was very quite and peaceful in evenings. Location near to markets, walkable distance.

Just worth being aware that you have to walk through a few run down alleys to get to the hotel, which may not be ideal if you've got some heavy luggage line we did. The taxi cant drop you off very nearby so we had to walk 10-15minutes. It turned out the staff would have been able to help with that, either meet you to help with luggage, or get a handyman to carry it for you. But unfortunately we not were informed about in advance of our arrival. So try to reach out to them prior to your arrival. Other than that, staff very helpful and it was good value for money.

De Riad ligt op een fijne plek in de Medina. Ook werden we ontvangen door iemand die ons veel tips gaf over de stad en erg vriendelijk was.

In de Riad zelf rook het niet fris. Het leek alsof de katten hadden geplast op de gangen. De kamers zelf waren erg donker en veel van de douches deden het niet, waardoor er bij elkaar gedoucht moest worden (we waren met een groep). De kamers zijn gehorig, dus als de eerste mensen gingen opstaan werd iedereen op de verdieping wakker. Ook het ontbijt was zeer ondermaats. Er zat schimmel op het brood en de overige broodjes leken uit een vliegtuig verpakking te zijn. Voor het geld was het het niet waard.

Nos costó mucho encontrarlo, era tarde y se olvidaron de nuestra reserva. Las fotos de la terraza no son reales, estaba abandonada. Las habitaciones, se ve en las fotos, son muy oscuras y sin ventilación, con olor a humedad.

DONT BOOK THIS RIAD. ITS A SCAM DOESNT LOOK LIKE PICTURES!!!! way to the riad was very dark and unsafe. It’s not a good place to stay in Marrakesh. We checked out earlier, even tho our concerns the owners didn’t care an only wants money!

The toilet keeps flushing, there is no door in the toilet, you can hear anything. You can also hear everyone talking outside. The bathroom looked like a chamber from WO2. It’s not central at all; those tourist thinks it’s central but it’s not. Overall bad experience! Also we didnt got our money back, they told us to contact the owner, the owner answered but as soon he heard it was about this he didn’t response! The boys who worked at the reception were very nice and polite, but they could do anything about this. But they were friendly and professional.

Youssef es súper amable y servicial, nos trató genial y nos ayudó en todo. La azotea y el patio son increíbles, súper tranquilo y cómodo. Y nuestra habitación bonita y la cama muy cómoda.

Der Mitarbeiter Yussuf, er war sehr sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Und das Frühstück wurde immer sehr schön präsentiert und war wirklich lecker.

The riad is absolutely amazing! Our host Youssef made the stay incredible. He was very kind and helpful with any questions. The breakfast was delicious, the riad beautiful, the rooms very clean and comfortable and there is a cute little kitten that likes to visit and cuddle. Highly recommed, and ask for Youssef, he is a star!

Hidden in a side alley, which means it was very quiet and enabled me to have a good nights sleep, a big plus for me. Youssef picked me up where the taxi couldnt venture further and guided me to the hotel. He is the very helpful, positive, always smiling manager of the 5 room riad. He gave me good advice on where to change money and what to do. He served breakfast as well which was very plentyful. Eggs, pancakes, bread, tea, coffee, jam, honey orange juice, fruits. Room has AC/Heating, which was necessary in March, it got cold in the evening. Wifi worked well enough. Reasonable price for what they offer.

I loved how hidden away it was. The decor was lovely and loved hearing the birds sing in the morning. Youseff was also incredible, he worked 24hour days from the day we arrived (Thursday) to the day we left (Tuesday). Anything we wanted, he helped us with and dropped us up pots of tea to our room every evening. He is a credit to Riad Meriem and the kindest person.

Le Riad est typiquement marocain. Les chambres sont belles, conformes aux photos, confortables, lit spacieux, le calme est très appréciable et la proximité du lieu, 10mn à pied de la place Jemma El Fna. Le service de transfert aéroport taxi était très agréable et efficace : tout est géré ! Enfin, mention spéciale pour Youssef. Il a été une perle ! Accueillant, très arrangeant pour l’arrivée comme pour le départ, à l’écoute et de bons conseils pour nos excursions dans Marrakech, il a même trouvé notre taxi de transfert pour nous rendre à Agadir! Les petits déjeuner faits maisons étaient de qualité. Nous étions ravies et recommandons vivement!

La chambre dans laquelle nous étions était top! Juste petit bémol sur la luminosité (un peu sombre) et pas de vraie fenêtre mais la double porte ouvre directement sur le balcon.

Youssef was so helpful and very welcoming. We had an incredible time and the location was perfect. Breakfast was nice and the riad was incredibly peaceful.

Youssef was delightful and a very kind and helpful man, despite having limited English. He came and collected us from the taxi drop off and was very sweet and smiley.

It is extremely run down and dingy so the photos are very deceptive. The common areas are dirty and not kept in good condition. The bathroom was clean but drainage was poor and the shower constantly dripped which was very irritating at night. The bed sheets were stained and the towels were ripped and threadbare as with all the seating areas around the Riad. Sockets falling out of walls and bedside light in pieces. All the furniture was half broken. The roof terrace was unusable with all broken loungers in a pile and no seating area as advertised in the pictures. The breakfast was very poor quality compared to all the others we experienced in Morocco. The owners clearly need to start maintaining the property otherwise it’s going to be unfit for guests. Would NOT recommend wasting money booking this Riad - there are tonnes of lovely well maintained ones for cheaper than this!

Super séjour au Riad Meriem, L’établissement est magnifique les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Très bien localisé ! Petit mot pour Youssef qui s’est occupé de nous le temps de ce week. il nous attendu jusqu’à 00h30 afin de nous guider jusqu’au Riad, puis nous a servi le repas au Riad jusqu’à 2h du matin très gentiment car notre vol a eu du retard. C’était délicieux et très gentil de sa part de nous avoir attendu et permis de manger aussi tard. Puis il nous a aussi proposé son contact WhatsApp afin de nous aider lors de notre séjour si vous avions des besoins ou des problèmes d’orientation. Encore MERCI.

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. Desde el primer momento nos atendieron de maravilla y nos recibieron con un excelente desayuno, preparado por Youseff y su compañera, que llevan la hospitalidad a su máximo esplendor con su cercanía y dedicación. La habitación (elegimos la que tiene bañera) es preciosa y muy cómoda. La cama es perfecta para descansar. Como pequeño detalle, añadiríamos un poco más de iluminación, pero todo lo demás está genial. El acceso puede resultar un poco confuso si es tu primera vez, ya que son callejuelas típicas de la zona. Consejo importante: cuando llegues a una bifurcación con dos caminos, toma el de la izquierda y sigue recto. Si no te desvías, llegas directamente al riad. Gracias, Youseff, por todo. Sin duda, una experiencia muy recomendable.

The location was good as it was in the middle of the medina. The young man working at the riad was lovely but unfortunately he was the ONLY person working there. It was like a ghost town. Very cold and unwelcoming building itself.

The building itself (inside and roof) looks nothing like the photos advertised. The roof top was just a roof of dead plants and quite dirty. The court yard , again, dead plants, cold and miserable looking. Our room was tiny, dark and very dated- no su light at all bar a TUNY window looking at a wall. 100% needs upgrading. The bathroom ceiling was literally falling down (plaster) with mold/huge fresh water stains covering the ceiling. The shower head, while bronze, was covered in linescale..i mean destroyed in it..and also facing out of the shower towards the wall. No moving it. The sofa outside the room in seating area was quite dirty with what looked like dried blood stains on it. The only saving grace for the entire stay was the young man working there. Always a smile on his face , asking did we need anything..when he was there that is. He was also collecting people and bringing them to the riad. So, alot of the time, there was nobody at all in the riad. Not his fault at all. Its like the owener have up and didn't want to bother to hire staff or maintain the place. I was soo looking forward to staying in a riad, this one just ruined the trip but I'll be back and stay somewhere else as we 100% love Marrekesh!

Tue riad is beautiful and clean, and the breakfast is amazing! Our stay was wonderful, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was Youssef. From the very first moment, he welcomed us with genuine kindness, professionalism and warmth. He was always available, attentive to every detail, and ready to help with anything we needed, always with a sincere smile. Thanks to him, we felt cared for and at home throughout our entire stay. His dedication, discretion and positive energy represent the highest level of hospitality. People like Youssef make the difference between a good hotel and an exceptional experience. We sincerely hope the management recognizes how valuable he is. Thank you again for making our stay in Marrakech so special.
