Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet und es war alles sauber. Das Frühstück war auch gut.

Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert und einmal mussten wir kalt duschen, weil das Wasser nicht warm wurde.

Alles, sehr moderne, geräumige und saubere Zimmer. Wir mussten uns um rein gar nichts kümmern der Gastgeber kennt für alles einen Kumpel und er hat und von scooter bis Kochkurs alles organisiert. Ein bisschen außerhalb des Ortskerns was uns auch sehr gut gefallen hat und kein Problem war da es eine Abkürzung durch die Gärten des Besitzers ins Dorf gibt.

Le logement dispose d’un petit sentier qui permet d’accéder directement au centre-ville, tout en étant à l’écart du bruit. Les personnes sur place sont vraiment très gentilles : elles ne cherchent pas à nous vendre des choses et font de leur mieux pour nous aider lorsque nous en avons besoin Nous n’avions pas choisi l’option climatisation dans la chambre, mais cela ne nous a finalement pas manqué, car un ventilateur est également mis à disposition Concernant le petit déjeuner, il est copieux et de bonne qualité Le logement était très propre, et il est possible de demander un nettoyage supplémentaire quand on le souhaite

Nice home stay in a super well equipped room, very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. The best place to stay in Ella. Near the centre but silent at nigh Manju and his wife are son nice and gentle. They do everything to make our stay unforgettable

Fantástico alojamiento, con una espectacular relación calidad/precio. Los anfitriones fueron muy agradable con nosotros, el desayuno fue sabroso y abundante, las instalaciones estaban nuevas y limpias, cama comodisima. Sin duda se lo recomiendo a cualquiera que pase una noche en Ella. Repetiría.

Excelente la familia que vive allí y se ocupa de que no te falte de nada. Son un encanto. Incluso estuve hospitalizada y vinieron a visitarme. Estamos muy agradecidos. Las instalaciones son estupendas. Una villa realmente nueva, impecable y con muy buen olor.

近道を知れば中心部からすぐ。Google mapで見て、この宿の少し左に行き止まりになっているT字の道があるが、その先が非公式の細い徒歩で登れる道になっている。

・部屋に書いてあるWifiのパスワードを入れても繋げないので家主に訊いたら、わざわざ大文字になっている箇所は小文字だったらしい。だったら修正しておいて欲しいと思った。 ・着いてすぐに蛇口をひねっても水が出ずにパニックに。What’sAppで宿主に伝えたら、特に返信もなく、しばらくしたら出るようになっていた。 ・シャワーを浴びる時にお湯が出ないと思ったら、上の方にある給湯器を操作する必要があった。こういったシステムに慣れていない国から来ると、水しか出ないと思ってびっくりする。色々いじったが、ぬるいお湯しか出なかった。また、便座に上がって給湯器のコンセントを挿すところから対応する必要があった。 ・部屋にドライヤーはあったが、プラグがヨーロッパに多いC型だった。が、部屋にはそれがすんなり入るコンセントはなく、使えずに焦った。What’sAppで何回もやりとりしてようやく部屋に来てくれたが、どうやら3口になっている穴の一番上の穴にボールペンを挿さないとコンセントに挿せない模様。スリランカやインドでは常識のようだが、日本人は知らない。そして、「誰にも文句を言われたことはない」とのことだったが、多分ヨーロッパから来る人はC型の変換プラグは持っているだろうし、万能型変換プラグなら対応できたからなんだと思う。せめてC→BF型への変換プラグを置いておかないと、一部混乱するゲストも出てくると思う。（私自身50ヵ国以上訪問したが、コンセントで困ったのはこれが初）

Bequemes Bett, liebevolle Gastgeberin. Bei der Ankunft gab es direkt Tee. Schnell in der Innenstadt, konnten das TukTuk auch noch stehen lassen solange wir in der Innenstadt waren.

Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage. Das Stadtzentrum ist schnell zu Fuß erreichbar und Restaurants sowie Supermärkte befinden sich ganz in der Nähe. Auch für Ausflüge zum Little Adam’s Peak und zur Nine Arche Bridge ist die Lage ideal. Das Frühstück war gut und das Bett bequem und sauber. Besonders positiv war auch der Laundry-Service (700 LKR/kg), der zuverlässig war – am Ende wurde uns dafür sogar nichts berechnet.

Es gab wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit gab es Schimmel an Decke und Wänden. Es war alles etwas muffig. Auch das Badezimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings gab es immer warmes Wasser.

Die herzliche Art der Gastgeber. Zudem war das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und sehr reichlich. Es wurde püntlich zur gewünschten Zeit angerichtet. Gegessen wurde entspannt auf der Terasse. Mit dem Shortcut konnte man schnell und unkompliziert zum Zentrum. Die Unterkunft liegt perfekt um zum little Adams Peak als auch zur Nine Arches Bridge zu laufen (ist man mal unmotiviert kann hier auch direkt ein Taxi organisiert werden). Man hat sich hier einfach sehr wilkommen gefühlt!

Great small homestay in Ella, room is clean and spacious and it's a short walk into central Ella. The host was very friendly and the breakfast is absolutely brilliant, would recommend!

Great location to Ella and surrounding tourist spots. Fairly basic room but good amenities with a fridge and toiletries supplied. Good breakfast too. WiFi was amazing.

However walls were a little mouldy and had a damp smell in the room. Did affect our breathing at night time, woke up each morning feeling blocked up.

Super süßes homestay! Ganz liebe Besitzer die ein wunderbares Frühstück machen! Das zimmer ist einfach aber erfüllt seinen Zweck. Man ist schnell überall hingelaufen.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft die gastgebenden waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön.

El alojamiento y el personal muy bien, estuvimos muy contentos con el servicio. En la ducha nos venían productos de higiene que en pocos los hay(2 tipos de champú, gel del cuerpo, gel de manos, una pastilla de jabón, pasta de dientes y bastoncillos de los oídos. La cama muy cómoda y el baño muy espacioso. El desayuno muy bueno, y con muchísima variedad. Podías decidir a qué hora querías el desayuno. En el alojamiento tenías opción de alquilar una moto, súper bien , nos costó 2500Rp un día entero. También tienen opción de taxis a buen precio. Los de la casa súper atentos con todo y muy agradables.

Los cargadores y el wifi iban muy lentos.

Close to the main road of Ella & hiking routes. Lovely husband and wife who own the accommodation, the best breakfast we’ve had since being in Sri Lanka available in the mornings, bike hire & laundry service also available. The room was super comfy & clean.

Дом из двух комнат. Тихое место. Недалеко от центра по короткой тропе. Внутри чисто. Есть веранда. Завтраки большие, вкусные и много фруктов. Хозяйка разрешила постирать вещи.

Слабая звукоизоляцию от соседней комнаты. Заранее договорились, что хозяин отвезет на вокзал, но пришлось оперативно решать вопрос, чтобы успеть на автобус.

Vriendelijke eigenaren, lekker ontbijt, schone en ruime kamer en op een top locatie!

Ik ben 1.85 meter en mijn vriend bijna 2 meter. We staken beiden met onze voeten uit bed. Nu zijn wij natuurlijk lange nederlanders dus vast niet iedereen zal daar last van hebben ;)

It was probably the cleanest accomodation we had in Sri Lanka. Very lovely couple who were very accommodating.

Buena ubicación. Habitaciones con todo lo necesario. Nos dieron toda la información necesaria y nos alquilaron una moto. Quizas la ducha podria mejorar.

The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the main town is just a short walk away down a little shortcut. The owners were very friendly and chatty, and even did a load of laundry for us which was really lovely. They also gave us a 30 minute late checkout, which was really appreciated.

The room was a little unclean. There were two used, half-empty toothpaste tubes and some loose change left in the bathroom when we arrived, which made us question if the bathroom had been cleaned at all. But other than that everything was fine

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Bereiten einem ein tolles, sehr reichliches Frühstück. Zimmer sehr groß, nur 2 nebeneinander mit Terrasse. Lage etwas hinter der Hauptstrasse, aber man erreicht fußläufig alle Restaurants etc..

Bad leider schmutzig und keine Abtrennung der Dusche, d.h. nach dem duschen steht das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Wir haben hier einfach unsere Flipflops angezogen.

Nice location, close to nine arch bridge there’s short cut to Main Street. Owner’s wife made breakfast at super early morning because of our train. And her Dahl was delicious. They let us shared their laundry rope.

Wi-Fi has problem, mostly didn't work. Bed is short, fridge has mold. We got tired of same breakfast for 3 days. It took a while to find the place because there’s no hotel sign on the street.

Soggiorno splendido, letto comodissimo, Pulito super bene. Colazione servita al mattino davanti la stanza all'ora concordata. Scorciatoia che ti porta in centro in 5 minuti, non è segnalata su Maps ma in 5 minuti, anche meno sei IN PIENO CENTRO ad Ella. Fantastico!

Really chill place away from the hustle and bussle from the city but so close by aswel because they have a shortcut 😊 Amazing people helping you with everything. I was sick, and they really helped me out with an ayurvedic position for my stomach 🙏🏻 the breakfast is amazing 👏🏼 and everything was so clean. We would really recommend this place 👌🏼

Super friedlich hosts who always provided help and information. Cute room and super delicious big breakfast. Good location, only a 10min walk to town and less to good restaurants. Super close to the main attractions and walks.

The WiFi was hit and miss at time working 50% of the time and when we arrived the shower had no hot water but the hosts did try to fix the issue by calling a plumber but he was unable to fix on the day and had to come back after we left

It is nice room, very clean and very cozy. They serve a delicious breakfast. If you need any help they are constitly avaible. The center is very near, 5 min walk. We were very satisfied with our Stay. We really recomend this place.

Good location (very short walk to the main street yet very quiet and calm), good location to stary hikes in the area; extremely nice and helpful hosts; comfortable bed, good shower; you get not only soap but also shampoo,, toothpaste etc; the room didn''t feel that humid as for Ella; lots of birds come to the garden so you can observe nature. A very nice sunset visible from the porch;

Very loud fan (I couldn't sleep having it on). For some reason there was an extreme amount of flies outside, it may be bothering for some (I stayed in a different homestay 5min walk and that wasn't the case); no hangers or place to put your bigger bag/backpack

This felt like the most personal homestay we stayed at. The owner was friendly and happy to chat to us but also knew when leave us be. The breakfast was excellent and huge, we had leftover snacks for our walks. The bed was supper comfy and we both slept like babies. Location was a 10 minute walk from the center which was perfect for us.

There were a lot of mosquitoes when we first arrived which kept us entertained for a while. If they sprayed the rooms before guests arrived I think that would be great 👍🏽 The WiFi was very patchy, didn't work for most of our stay but if you have data that's not an issue.

Great stay! The hosts were very nice and friendly. The room exceeded our expectations for the cost. The breakfasts were nice, and we had dinner there too one night which was also good. It's possible to rent scooters . The shortcut into town is very handy as well.

We had a good time at cinnamon Homestay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a small garden in front of the house where you can sit and relax and the location is awesome, quiet but close to the city (there's a shortcut, it takes you only 10 min to reach the city), and you can walk to little adams peak and nine arches bridge from there. They had a parking area for our tuktuk. There is just one other guest room in the house and the owner lifes in another house on the same premesis. Breakfast is also nice and Laundry service worked well :)

A great place to stay in Ella! The hosts are so friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, the location is great (shortcut into town but also walking distance to the 9 arch bridge & little Adams peak) and the breakfast was delicious! They also made us dinner one night which was great. Would definitely stay here again!

We extended our stay in Ella and so glad we did as we managed to stay with this lovely family. They made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. The Location is perfect, the room spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! it was such a treat to have a home cooked meal ( and get our laundry done-thanks) while we were there. A very authentic Sri Lankan stay- don’t hesitate to book.

The host Mr Madhu is helpful. He help us to book the ac express bus from ella to colombo. He will try to help us to prepare the dinner, arrange tuk-tuk from the homestay. Location: there is a short cut from homestay, a small trekking road about 10minutes to the main road and bus stop. Mr Madhu's wife will prepare traditional Sri Lanka breakfast for us. I love the coconut pancake. The room & bathroom both clean! The small garden have sofa and some flowers. You can park your tuk-tuk here. We have a good rest here. The mattress just nice.

Everything goes well. If can change a carpet with better water absorption would be perfect.

Lovely host! Great location, close to the centre but far enough to have a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Ella.

Great hosts who were very nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfasts were really good with huge portions and fresh fruit and juice. Room had very comfortable bed and lots of room. The location is close to town and attractions. There’s a nice little shortcut to to get there even faster and it’s a very easy walk to Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. If you want to hang out at the property there are plenty of chairs outside. With only two rooms and the family living below, you definitely feel like you are a part of the neighborhood and lifestyle and get to experience more of the real Sri Lanka as opposed to staying in a larger more hotel-type place.

Everything was perfect. We loved our stay here. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and great location, just a 5 min walk from the town. Breakfast was great and they helped us with laundry and renting a bike. Also, it is a great location to walk to Nine Arch bridge and Little Adams peak Definitely recommend to stay here 😊

All round brilliant. Extremely clean, walking distance to Center, good Wi-Fi, nice enough shower and a lovely family hosting. They made a brilliant breakfast and helped plan our days in Ella.

Location was very good and they also had their own scooter for rent. Breakfast was very generous. Clean and didn’t smell musty like many of the properties around. Biggest plus was value for money. Lovely hosts who also helped organise our next trip to Mirissa.

My bed was very comfortable. It also had the best mosquito net yet. The room was clean and the bathroom was too. There was a sofa to hang out on in my room. The garden was nice and breakfast was really generous.

The family was amazing. Very nice helpful people. The breakfast was huge and very tasty. They even prepared breakfast take away for me, as I needed to leave early morning. I recommend this place :)

It was by far the best place we 've stayed în sri lanka. Both bedroom and bathroom were very clean and the breakfast was super good. Plus we were able to rent a scooter and do the loundry directly at the property .

The owners are so kind! We also did got our laundry cleaned here and everything was perfectly clean! Seriously one of the nicest familys we've met in Sri Lanka. The breakfast is really tasty, and we even got dinner two Times :). My boyfriend was sick and the owner also helped us with the doctor and everything!
