Die Ausstattung der Höhlenwohnung ist ausserordentlich, das Zimmer sehr sauber, Mimmi, die Gastgeberin sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück ausgezeichnet.

Die An- und Abreise gestaltet sich etwas aufwändig, da dafür am besten der Bus genommen wird.

Disponibilità e cordialità dei proprietari. Colazione ottima e varia. Posizione estremamente centrale senza troppe salite rispetto alla strada principale. Struttura curata e accogliente.

Bisogna essere preparati all'esperienza nei sassi e al microclima particolare che, nonostante deumidificatore e condizionatore, nelle giornate molto calde è sempre molto umido.

Colazione ottima, ricca di prodotti freschi del territorio. Sia dolci che salati. Ho soggiornato nella suite con la vasca/piscina....che dire una perla! Staff super cortese e attento!

Incredible breakfast, the best breakfast we had in whole of Italy! Quality ingredients and very very tasty. The idea of a room in a cave is insane, Matera is great!

The room was quite moldy, the restaurant / eating space was in a cave as well but it was very good ventilated and the walls were actually dry, unlike our room, as soon as I entered our room I had to take an Aerius as I am strongly allergic to mold. My wife felt it from the start as well, but she doesn't have my reactions. Also, trying to cover the smell of mold with different strong incenses is a non-starter. The amenities in the room are quite old, the shower - while inventive - is weird, took a whole 4 minutes for the water to get warm, the door to the room could also use a refresher.

Struttura situata proprio nella zona dei sassi facilmente raggiungibile con l’autobus che passa ogni 15 min. La camera è un sogno, proprio all’interno di una grotta, grande, pulita e dotata di un bagno con vasca che sembra una piscina. I proprietari sono 2 persone eccezionali, accoglienti e disponibili nel rispondere ad ogni necessità. Colazione ottima, struttura davvero incantevole. Partiamo con la voglia di ritornare.

Dormir en un Sasso es una experiencia única! La habitación es preciosa, las camas cómodas, limpia y cuidado todo hasta el último detalle. La luz, el olor, los detalles de higiene… Enzo y Mima nos recibieron con una cálida y cercana bienvenida. El desayuno es espectacular, no falta nada y todo riquísimo y abundante. La bañera/piscina de la habitación un must! Estamos deseando volver y repetir.

Beautiful large cave room in the heart of the Sassi, close to everything historic. Great breakfast was served in a separate large cave, also supremely beautiful. Fantastic place in a fantastic location within walking distance of everything. Matera is absolutely must-see, recommend at least 2 nights.

We received a lovely welcome on arrival. Our hosts were warm and engaging. The room/cave was unusual but a very enjoyable experience. The location is perfect. If/when we return this is where we would choose to stay.

汽车停在小镇外老板推荐的多层停车场一天五欧，但是以凌晨十二点为截止时间，我们下午四点半到到第二天下午二点左右离开付了八欧元。 太喜欢马泰拉了，非常有特色，老板夫妇非常热心，还推荐了酒店附近的一家美味餐厅，报了老板的名字预定了位置，早餐更是丰富有美味，现烧咖啡，新鲜面包，水果，火腿等等，洞穴房间也很有马泰拉的特点，度过了一天难忘的时光！

Unique and awesome place to stay in the heart of Matera! Caring and welcoming hosts (Enzo & Mima). Breakfast was great. Mima assisted us in arranging a taxi for both our arrival and departure. Enzo gave us lots of tips on how to maximize the 36 hours that we have in this place. (Thank you, Mima & Enzo) We highly recommend this place!

Location molto caratteristica, in una vera grotta, colazione ottima con prodotti locali. Proprietari super disponibili anche come guida per la città.

È stato un vero sogno. Il posto è meraviglioso, all’interno di un sasso, un’esperienza unica e suggestiva. Si trova a pochi passi da una strada principale ricca di ristoranti e bar, ma allo stesso tempo è estremamente silenzioso grazie alla posizione in un vialetto tranquillo. Il letto è comodissimo e nell’alloggio c’era tutto il necessario per un soggiorno perfetto. La vasca è una vera chicca, ideale per rilassarsi nel silenzio e nell’atmosfera magica dei Sassi. Colazione molto buona e soddisfacente. Un ringraziamento speciale a Mimma, la proprietaria, super gentile e disponibile. Ci ha dato tanti consigli utilissimi ed è stata sempre pronta a rispondere a ogni nostra esigenza. Consigliatissimo!!!! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

L ambiente sia della camera che il posto per la colazione rispecchia la tipicità delle antiche abitazioni di Matera😍 Consigliatissimo!!!

Everything. Stunning room, decor, ambience. Exceptionally friendly people, providing a high quality stay while being down to earth and welcoming. Loved my cave, slept incredibly well, felt wholly relaxed and recharged by my stay. Excellent (slightly overwhelming!) breakfast, in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

The room was very spacious and very comfortable. The attention to the details made it feel like five star experience. The breakfast was one of the best we had in a b&b or other hotels. The hosts were very attentive and helpful.

B&B Al Convento provided a remarkable “cave” room that was both imaginatively conceived and well-appointed. Mimma and Enzo could not have been better hosts and the breakfast was expetuonal.

The only minor complaint is that the hot water pressure could have been better/stronger.

La struttura della stanza ricavato in un VERO sasso ti porta verso la versa esperienza materana!L’arredamento, l’illuminazione la cura del dettaglio, la colazione a km zero curata e servita al tavolo con devozione e partecipazione. Le persone fanno la differenza! Lo staff ci ha accolto e coccolato dall’inizio alla fine del soggiorno.

Tutto stupendo, suite suggestiva, colazione deliziosa, staff cortesissimo, posizione ideale. Notevole la ristrutturazione messa in opera per recuperare un altro angolo prezioso del sasso caveoso. Consigliatissimo.

The property is located in Sassi, only 1min walk you can see the view of the cathedral and valley. The inner decoration suits the cave perfectly. The shower is powerfully, feel a little massage. The breakfast is like a banquet. Different kinds of bread, salami, blood orange juice, diary products, fruits. The owner also offered coffee and yogurt. The toasted bread with tomatoes is so good. We literally skip the lunch that day.

Das Al Convento liegt mitten im Sasso Caveoso, für Erkundungen der Sassi ideal. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Höhlenzimmer sind an sich schon etwas Besonderes, die Gastgeber haben sie mit Stil eingerichtet. Enzo hat uns eine 2-stündige Tour durch die Sassi gebucht, sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war großartig: regionale Produkte von Salsiccia, Ricotta, Pecorino, Bruschette bis zu Obstsalat und kleinen Küchelchen uvm. alles sehr, sehr köstlich, auch glutenfreie Produkte wurden angeboten

TUTTO PERFETTO. L'accoglienza è state veramente bellissima, trattati fin da subito quasi come di famiglia, quando Enzo ha saputo che avevo avuto un problema con l'auto si è offerto subito di aiutarmi. La camera/sasso bellissima curata fin nei minimi particolari, il bagno molto bello e con tutti i comfort, c'era addirittura l spazzolino e il dentifricio, tutto pulitissimo, mia moglie in un'altra vita faceva parte dei RIS e vi posso assicurare che era pulitissima. La colazione servita dalla moglie Mimma era veramente spettacolare, come si vede dalle foto, Mimma bravissima e simpaticissima. Dopo che ho risolto con l'auto Enzo ha chiamato una guida, Giusy che ci ha fatto scoprire le bellezze e la storia di Matera, veramente brava e disponibile visto che era già pomeriggio inoltrato. Torneremo sicuramente

A cave with a.thousand-odd year old history of habitation that the owner Enzo was happy to share with us. It was a Franciscan church complete with original cut stone arch within. Very atmospheric space and one you will remember. Comfortable and complete with TV WiFi and fridge. Breakfast is substantial!
