The facility was great, and the location was good. It was nice and clean with comfortable beds and pillows.. The owner, Scott, was friendly.

The breakfast timing and duration were not good at all. First of all, the breakfast was between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. It should be between 7:00 am and 10:00 am, which is usually the case in most hotels and accommodations. The one hour duration is too short to fit in your holiday. The other issue was that we felt unease at breakfast as we felt that we were not entertained properly, and we reluctantly asked anything extra and felt any extra request was not welcomed. Obviously, everything was rushed to fit everything in one hour window.

It is a very pleasant place. I would recommend it, just try a room inside the house or facing the parking lot.

Our room was in the anex and it was very small and in the corner, facing the back door of the house. The access was very unpleasant. Other rooms in the anex are facing the parking lot .

A lovely property, with a nice clean and modern room with excellent facilities. Even a drying room & bike store available outside too. Very welcoming hosts and a great breakfast provided to start the day.

Scott und sein Team umsorgten uns mit großer Herzlichkeit. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Gemeinschaftsraum mit Kamin und Klavier laden zu einem gemütlichen Abend ein. Wir genossen außerdem ein köstliches und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder bei Scott&Helen buchen, wenn wir in Aviemore sind.

Die einzelnen Zimmer sind schön separiert und von außen zugänglich. Moderne Einrichtung. Zimmer ohne Teppichboden. Bequeme Betten. Sehr entgegenkommend bei Parksituation. Personal sehr, sehr freundlich!

Room was so small . Toliet the sink made such a terrible noise when running water. Toliet bowl itself was so loose felt like was going to fall each time sat on loo. Mold around shower cubicle.The decor was OK but really badly marked walls . Carpet my feet stuck to some parts of it sorted that with wearing socks. Room was cold couldn't get heating on sorted that had fleece on in bed . All faults mentioned above can be recited easily for quests to have nice stay unfortunately I did nt feel that 125 pounds for a small box room and the issue s above was worth the money more like 69 pounds that was room 2 so people be aware ..

The accomodation is well located, in a peaceful area near the city centre. It's a beautiful house with gables filled with an old-fashioned charm. Rooms are clean and cumfortable. They offer a high quality breakfast.

This is a gem. A grand old house in a spectacular location, overlooking the firth. Quiet, friendly, lovely lounge to use. The bed was very comfortable, great shower. A very good breakfast in the conservatory.

The entire experience was wonderful. The building character combined with gracious hosting made the stay memorable. Breakfast setup was so efficient and food was delicious! We appreciated the seating options. If we ever return to Aviemore, The Ravenscraig would be our home away from home.

Wir wurden im Ravenscraig Guesthouse unglaublich herzlich von Besitzer Scott und Katze Milli empfangen. Unser Zimmer lag in einem kleinen Häuschen hinter dem Hauptgebäude, was uns total begeistert hat. Man hat dadurch einen eigenen Eingang und sogar eine kleine Mini-Terrasse mit Gartenstühlen. Drinnen war es unheimlich gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, das moderne Bad war picobello sauber. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank sowie eine Station für Kaffee und Tee waren ebenfalls vorhanden.Das Frühstück bot ein feines kleines Buffet mit Müsli und Cerealien, einer süßen Auswahl von Marmelade bis Nutella und man konnte sich zusätzlich ein warmes Gericht frisch von der Karte bestellen. Auch die Lage ist unschlagbar: Das Guesthouse liegt zwar an der Hauptstraße von Aviemore, ist aber trotzdem absolut ruhig. Sämtliche Geschäfte und Restaurants im Ort sind problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. Zudem ist es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen im Cairngorms-Nationalpark.

Lovely B&B in lovely town. Great resources for people who like exploring the outdoors. Breakfast terrific.

Nette Betreiber, schönes neuwertiges Zimmer, allerdings mit nur einem Stuhl, und grosses modernes Bad. Sehr sauber. Das Frühstück aus regionalen Produkten und zusätzlicher Menüauswahl ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Perfect location, very central and possible to walk to restaurants and shops. Great departure point for discovering the beautiful lakes and mountain landscapes in the area. Personnel is so lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms are cozy and comfortable!

RavensCraig has secure bike parking, and charging for eBikes. Scott the host helped us with routes, and was available on the phone when we got lost :) This is a quality place to stay.

We had a great stay at the ravens Craig. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. We were greeted by the host and shown to our room in a very quick and friendly manner. The location was excellent and was convenient to restaurants and recreation nearby. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend!

Es war ein gemütliches Zimmer. Vorallem der Frühstücksraum mit Holzhofen fand ich besonders schön. Das Personal hat sich viel mühe gegeben.

Das Badezimmer war mir, für meine Verhältnisse einfach zu kalt. Leider wurde es auch beim höher stellen der Heizung nicht wärmer.

Scott and the staff are brilliant. It felt like a super welcoming place to stay and there were so many little details which support the outdoorsy person. I cycled there and was able to safely store and clean and maintain my bike. Scott was really good at flexing to suit my schedule too. We had some brilliant chats.
