The breakfast was varied and sufficient. the staff was very attentif and more than willing to help. we had our breakfast all the days we stayed and never felt the need to try another place.

Convenient location in Thamel. Room was cosy and quiet. Staff are lovely.

The price was reasonable, and the staff kindly helped carry my luggage to my room. They were also very accommodating and helped with anything I needed.

It took a while for the hot water to start running.

I koved how quiet it was. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. Staff were lovely and so welcoming and kind. Shower gave great pressure and warmth...

The staff was more than helpful and really knowledgeable. The location is brilliant, in the middle of Thamel, but in a secluded alley that offered access without excessive noise. They have a small terrace with lots of greenery that we enjoyed immensely.

Staff were so kind and helpful. Room was clean and decently sized. The views from the top of the hotel were great and it was a nice outside area. The location is superb, it is in the city so it takes only a minute to walk to shops/ food/ activities/ etc.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist with any request. The hotel was spotless, with high standards of cleanliness throughout. The location was also excellent—conveniently situated close to local attractions, restaurants etc. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again. 20 out of 10 for the staff!

I stayed at Kumari Boutique Hotel for 23 days and I felt right at home all throughout! The staff are the nicest people I've met in the whole of Nepal, Rosie and team are true gems. They've gone above and beyond to help me with multiple things, from driver arrangements, to any help for directions, laundry service, and more. I genuinely will stay there when I'm back in Kathmandu!

The property is tucked away at a silent corner of a busy area, yet it’s accessible. It’s well maintained and we saw a lot of footfall at the property, which itself says a lot! The common areas are cozy and will want to make you spend time at the property. The staff were super responsive and very pleasant. Special shoutout to Mr. Bharat and a wonderful lady whose name I missed who were very patient with our queries and gave us plenty of suggestions on how to get around and what to see in the area.

The complementary breakfast could be a bit more diverse, but whatever was available was pretty satisfactory!

This is my regular first choice stop off in Kathmandu: mainly because the staff are brilliant. It’s great value in a quiet side street just off bustling Thamel. What’s not to like?

What an amazing experience and stay. I wanted a retreat to explore the mountain landscapes and experience the villages outside of Kathmandu. Govinda, the manager of the hotel, was so much more helpful than I could imagine. He offered customized hikes, drew up a map, gave advice, etc. Would love to return and would advise anyone to stay. Food and drink were great as well! I wanted traditional food from Nepal but noticed that the menu included options for those who preferred tastes from home (Chinese, Indian, US, Italian, etc.).

The location is perfect. You’re close enough to the all the shops but away from the noise and bustle of the streets.

The hotel lies in a quiet alley. Big comfortable bed and hot shower with good water pressure. Breakfast is nice as well with fresh fruits, egg etc. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here after our trek. Thank you!

This is a very nice small hotel in a good location close to many of the main attractions. What makes this hotel so special is the very helpful staff who organise trips, provide suggestions and go out of their way to make sure your trip goes smoothly. This is no small task in Nepal. A special tank you to Rosy for organising everything so efficiently and to everyone for making us feel at home.

Hôtel propre et au calme tout en étant proche du quartier animé. Très bons petit déjeuner, staff aux petits soins. Possibilité de laisser gratuitement les sacs dans une pièce sécurisée de l’hôtel le temps du trek ce qui est très appréciable. Je recommande.

The hotel is located on a quiet side street in bustling Thamel, within easy walking distance of major attractions like Durbar Square (about 20 minutes), as well as restaurants, bars, and shops. My room was very spacious, clean, and had a nice view, the bathroom was clean, and both AC and WiFi worked well. The European-style breakfast is a great way to start the day – and the coffee is excellent. The hotel also offers several tours in and around Kathmandu, but what really makes this place special is the friendly and attentive staff, with special thanks to Rosie for her excellent support during my stay.

The consistent positive reviews say it all, but I’ll add mine too! The team at Kumari are what make this Hotel worth the stay. All staff are so welcoming, beyond helpful making my stay feel very relaxed and looked after. Front desk - So efficient at everything! organising activities, transport, all so friendly and happy. Restaurant - inviting ambiance, delicious meals. Always welcoming and looked after us so well. Room - Spotlessly clean and very well kept. Pillows are so comfortable! Location - location is perfectly positioned for easy exploring yet quiet. Overall, it has everything you need, with the added bonus of a relaxed verandah oasis that we kept coming back to unwind. Very grateful for Kumari helping me with activities/tours, transportation, flights, Sim etc

Отличное расположение в самом центре Тамеля, при этом в комнатах очень тихо. Персонал очень отзывчивый. Комната просторная, чисто, хороший напор воды при том что мы жили на 5 этаже. Классная веранда с видом на город где можно посидеть вечером. Завтрак стандартный.

I had a wonderful stay at the Kumari Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. One of its biggest advantages is the location: although it is right in the heart of Thamel, it sits on a quiet side street, making it peaceful and silent—something quite rare in that area. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. The breakfast is generous and of excellent quality, offering a great start to the day. For us, this hotel has become a reliable reference point every time we return to Kathmandu. Highly recommended.

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe du Kumari Boutique Hotel pour son accueil si chaleureux ! Je suis restée plusieurs semaines dont une supplémentaire car mon vol a été annulé suite aux évènements au Moyen-Orient. Rosy et tout le personnel sont d’une grande gentillesse et toujours prêts à vous aider pour quoi que ce soit. Le déjeuner était très bon et varié et les chambres impeccables. On se sent comme à la maison ! Ma chambre se situait côté impasse et la nuit je n’entendais même pas un bruit. L’hôtel est dans le cœur de Thamel mais loin de l’agitation de ce quartier touristique. Vous pouvez aller jusqu’au Durbar Square à pied en traversant le vieux Katmandou, Asan Tole, à 15 minutes seulement, et découvrir ainsi l’architecture Newar. Si je repasse par Katmandou, je n’hésiterai pas à venir les saluer !

Номера просторные, лучше выбирать с видом на внутренний двор, в номере есть всё необходимое: фен, гигиеничечкие средства, полотенца, горячая вода постоянно, сейф, шкаф с вешалками, кондиционер, фумигатор со средством от комаров,холодильник, чайник, две бутылки питьевой воды 0,9 л. каждый день, окна открываются. Есть генератор, при отключении электричества, подключается генератор и у вас постоянно есть свет. Персонал очень заботливый, это очень приятно. В первую ночь выяснилось, что матрас продавленный в середине, сообщили об этом сотрудникам, на следующий день нам купили новый матрас, такого сервиса не было нигде. Завтраки вкусные, разнообразие небольшое, но всегда есть что выбрать, еда не острая. В номере есть меню для заказа еды, всё вкусное. Если когда-то соберёмся в Непал ещё раз, обязательно приедем в этот отель! Очень жаль, что не обменялись контактами с девушкой на ресепшен, к сожалению даже имя не спросили, которая поменяла нам матрас и у которой есть мечта попасть во Вриндаван. Everything about this hotel was amazing. The room was incredibly comfortable and a nice place to rest after exploring the city. The location was great too, since it was just on the edge of Thamel. It felt less hectic, but it was still close to the action. The biggest asset, however, was the staff. Each person I interacted with was friendly and helpful. When I had an accident and needed help, a staff member offered to pick something up at a pharmacy for me. It was so nice as a tourist to have that kind of support.

The location was right on Thamel so very convenient and quiet away from the noisy streets. If I come back to Kathmandu, no doubt this is the place I want to stay. Super clean room and great value.

Das Personal war besonders herzlich und bemüht! Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch nach dem Check Out konnten wir unser Gepäck noch im Hotel lassen! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiter waren auch bemüht, das immer alles nachgefüllt wird und es war auch möglich einmal später zu frühstücken! War ein toller Aufenthalt in einer super Lage, alles in Gehweite erreichbar! Sehr zu empfehlen!

The service was top notch! They were helpful with all of the questions I had and had lots of ideas on places to see and visit. The staff was always checking on me to make sure I have everything I need, and asking if my stay was going well. The buffet breakfast is great! The property itself was very clean and well kept. They bent over backwards to help with bag storage, changes in stay dates(stayed there 3x during my month in Nepal). All at a very reasonable price!

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße, aber dennoch mitten in Thamel. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir konnten für unsere Trekkingtour einen Rucksack mit den Sachen deponieren, den wir nach dem Trek wieder eingesammelt haben. Absolute Empfehlung!
