Location was brilliant. Very handy for Paddington Station. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars close by. Room had three chairs which was great. Also plenty of storage facilities. Did not have breakfast.

Only had one pillow each and when asked for another pillow at Reception, was told no pillows available. Had to leave a note in room to ask for milk, as none left in room two days. Didnt replace towels though dirty ones were taken away.

On ground floor so rumble from underground was unexpected - didn’t disturb sleep though! No hand towel, hair dryer didn’t work.

La posizione e’ eccellente ( a pochi passi dalla metro). Quartiere molto servito. La camera era pulita e spaziosa e si trovava al primo piano. Ho apprezzato molto l’anticipo del check-in visto che la stanza era già pronta. Dormo sempre con tappi e mascherina per cui non ho percepito i disagi di cui ho letto nei commenti altrui. Qualità prezzo eccellente. Molto consigliato.

Out on the square it is best not to leave your luggage unattended but it is a busy and safe enough area with lots of hotels

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Gleich neben dem Paddington Bahnhof. Eine schöne und belebte Gegend. Ich bin vom Hotel aus zum Hydepark gelaufen und die Gegend erkundet. Im Hotel selber war es im großen und ganzen ruhig - man muss sich nur daran gewöhnen, dass man die Underground bis ca 24 Uhr in regelmäßigen Abständen fahren hört. Die Erste fährt dann erst wieder morgens um ca 6:30 Uhr. Also, ich war 4 Nächte dort und habe nur 1x Ohrenstöpsel zum Einschlafen gebraucht - aber nur weil Zimmernachbarn sich laut bei offenem Fenster unterhalten haben (das hat tatsächlich mehr gestört) Alles in allem war es aber auch ok - es war ja heiß - da hat es in der Nacht gut getan das Fenster auf haben zu können. Das war ein Glück, dass mein Fenster zum Hinterhof raus ging und es dadurch auch recht ruhig war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war einfach und ausreichend. Es gab sogar frisches Obst. Mir hat es im Dolphin Hotel sehr gut gefallen und würde wieder dort buchen wenn ich nach London reise.

This compact single bed room was perfect for my needs as. 4ft 10” woman. The linen and towels were pristine and although the furniture was a little tired, the facilities: over bed lamp, fan, mini fridge, great sized TV and copious amounts of good quality tea and coffee were excellent. The shower room looked brand new and the water pressure and temp were great. The location was an easy flat, safe and 2min walk from Paddington transport links. The hotel had 24 hr reception and the staff were very prompt responding to my queries which put my mind at rest because I needed a late check in and didn’t arrive until gone 23:00. The price for this room was exceptional for central London.

It didn’t bother me but my room was up a large Victorian sweeping stair case on the second floor (and there were higher floors) so I could imagine this would be difficult with luggage unless they were extremely fit.

I think the hotel is very good. The location is perfect, it is clean, the beds are comfortable and there is a fridge, which is very useful. The bathroom is small but sufficient. If you don't need any luxuries, I recommend this place for a visit to London.

La situació és boníssima i l'allotjament és super correcte. Net, llits còmodes, amb nevera, finestra amb vistes al carrer. Habitació amb bany petit però suficient.

La veritat es que tot m'ha semblat bé però per dir alguna cosa negativa, hem estat en una habitació a la tercera planta, no hi ha ascensor i l'últim tram d'escales és bastant costerut. Per entrar a la nostra habitació hi ha una doble porta, molt inútil i bastant molesta. Tot això per nosaltres no ha estat massa problema. Per qui no necessiti luxes recomano aquest lloc.

This compact single was perfect for me. It was excellent value for money for the height of Summer in London; was in very close proximity to Paddington transport links; and had 24 hr reception for my late arrival. Check in and check out times were more generous than most hotels these days. Although the room itself was a little tired, there was a wardrobe and desk; great TV, over bed lamp, fan, mini fridge and copious amounts of quality tea and coffee. The bed linen was crisp and white and the shower room was pristine and looked newly updated. Very many thanks. My only advice to others would be that there is a Victorian staircase and my room was on the second floor. I was fine because I only had an overnight rucksack but you’d need to be pretty fit if you had suitcases.

I stayed 3 nights in one room, that came back later after my travels I spent one night in a different room It is a really good budget motel if your looking for 1 to about 3 nights, they have a good size room for a single room and private bathroom, the bed is comfortable, although it doesn’t have air con there is a small-medium fan which works well enough, the doors aren’t sound proof you can hear people walking up and down the stairs etc but for a budget motel that’s what you expect. The water pressure and temperatures of the shower are good, For breakfast they had a basic small kind of cold food selection like ham and cheese, toast(they do it for you), cereal, little bit of fruit, yogurt and a coffee machine

Al día siguiente, nos pudieron cambiar de habitación y nos dieron una en la planta 1 con la posibilidad de abrir las ventanas y poder ventilar la ventilación para la calor. The location is very close to the station. Reception is open 24*7, so checking in late was not a problem. Rooms were pretty clean and tidy. For this cost, place was very good.

The beds fealt a bit small in size. Guess for a lodge, it might be the standard size.

Room was very hot; no AC, no properly working fans. The only fans provided were small, cheap, plastic fans that did not put out much air. The window could not stay open. When I asked for something to prop it open with, management could only find a 1 foot long plank for me to use. So my family was stuck on a fourth floor sweltering room with only a 1 foot opening of the window. No elevators; We had to lug luggage up four flights of narrow stairs. Sheets were not clean.

Location was great if you are looking close to Paddington station, not much atmosphere as where we stayed we were four doors away from reception. We had a room with 6 bunk beds as we booked late. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Decor was basic and old fashioned . We also had our own shower and toilet in our room. Downside if you have mobility issues there are no lifts. Stayed at the very top of the building walked 4 flights stairs to get to room. Also as it was right at the top of the building it was very warm, desktop fans in the rooms but it should really have air con. Overall, good value for money for what we booked.

It’s near paddington station and has several bus stops near so it’s well connected, you can get buses to central London, Camden town and nothing hill from there, the access to the accommodation is secure, you can only access with your card

Sei que é apenas um inn, mas seria bom fornecerem uma toalha de banho e uma de mãos, e não apenas uma de banho. O espaço do lavatório era muito pequeno.

Tras leer varios comentarios, íbamos con un poco de "miedo", pero lo real es que la habitación estaba muy bien, pequeña pero bien, nada que no se vea en las fotos, estaba limpia y las camas eran cómodas. Hay que subir escaleras, si, pero como en todas las casas de Londres de este estilo. Y en cuanto a la ubicación, está genial, cerca de la estación de tren y al lado de varias paradas de autobús, y de noche es una zona tranquila. Sinceramente, repetiría.

Nice location very close to Paddington Station. I did a quick overnight here and took the Heathrow Express early the next morning. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, but clean and more than adequate for a short stay. Floor is starting to look a little worn. The overall building is kinda fun, with good character, also very clean. The person that checked me out told me I couldn't have a receipt because I'd booked through Expedia (I did not book through Expedia).

Change rooms on arrival has a room we was offered about four flights of stay and suffer from Parkinson’s. I couldn’t manage to climb. We also had four bunkbeds and no double bed. We were assigned room in the main hotel that had a much better room with a double bed.

For a single room in fairly central London, it was a good size, and well equipped. It was quite a bonus to have a decent sized fridge in the room, especially for someone like me who enjoys tea with fresh milk, which I obtained from the nearby, 24-hour Tesco Express, which was barely a 5 minute walk away. The shower in the en suite was a decent size, good water pressure, and hot water. Probably could have done with an extra shelf in there for stuff, but it was a very useable bathroom. The restaurant was down in the basement, as they often are in these London hotels, which is a bit dicey for anyone who's not great with narrow stairs and a low ceiling. Still, the food options were good: the cooked breakfast was very tasty; there was a good quality coffee machine that offered lattes, hot chocolates, americanos, etc, along with a good selections of juices; plus cereals, yoghurt, etc. The only nit-pick was the toast was a bit chewy; not entirely sure how they toasted it but it wasn't very crunchy. Nice enough. The staff in general were polite and helpful, but the restaurant staff were particularly friendly. The location was only a few minutes walk from Paddington tube station, which was very handy for getting about. Was pretty quiet overnight, which was helpful, as I stayed in June when it was hot and needed the window wide open. The hotel is in a nice little square alongside other hotels, so feels pretty safe. 24 hour reception or access with your room card, so getting in and out was a breeze. Would happily stay here again.

There was a TV in the room, but the signal was so terrible it was more for decorative purposes. I think only BBC News worked. Mind you, Wi-Fi signal was good so I was able to use my laptop quite happily instead. As I arrived late into the night, I wanted a snack so went to the aforementioned Tesco for some food bits, but then realised I didn't have a bowl so asked to borrow one, but was told they couldn't / don't do that, which seemed needlessly unhelpful.

The staff was friendly and the location was amazing. The area around Paddington is nice for food places and perfectly connected with lots of underground services. Also the breakfast was nice and the room was clean. Great value for money.

The furniture is a bit old. But I think that's part of the hotel's character and I couldn't ask for anything more for the price.
