ארוחת בוקר מאד בסיסית, ציפיתי ליותר ממלון 5 כוכבים, לא היה לי יותר מדי מה לאכול, מאפים לא טריים. מלון נראה קצת מוזנח מבחינת תחזוקה, חדר אוכל לא נראה טוב, מרחקי הליכה מאד גדולים, כדי להגיע מהחדר ללובי זה הליכה של כמה דקות ארוכות. לא הייתי מדרגת את המלון כ 5 כוכבים. מלון מרגיש נטוש, בקושי רואים אנשים- אולי לחלק מהאנשים זה יתרון

Δεν καθαρίσαμε καθόλου το δωματιο ούτε αλλάξανε σεντόνια. Η ποιότητα του φαγητού του εστιατορίου για δείπνο και πρωινό ηταν εξαιρετικά χαμηλη. Το σεσουάρ για τα μαλια είχε ευρωπαϊκή πρίζα και δεν δεν είχε πουθενά μετατροπέα η κατάλληλη πρίζα για να χρησιμοποιηθεί. Η πισινα ηταν γεματη ζωιφια και σκουπιδια. Δεν υπηρχε κανενας ηρωας να μπει! Εξαιρετικα κακη τοποθεσια στο μεσο του πιυθενα με τιποτε κοντα. Μονο με αμαξι δικο σου μενεις εδω. Πολύ πρόχειρη διαχείριση ενός ξενοδοχειου που θα μπορούσε με το κατάλληλο management θα μπορούσε να ειναι πολυ καλύτερο. Ούτε 3 αστέρια οχι 5 που διαφημίζεται!

This large hotel offers a quiet, jungle-like setting. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks go to Ms. Ishani and Ms. Manjula for their great support. The hotel prepared a nice complimentary cake to celebrate our son's achievement. Rooms are clean and placed in Calm envirement. Complimentary chocolates were given, and Tea/coffee

Food Quality: The food was okay, but it did not taste like a five-star meal. Dinner Options: The live cooking station only offered cuttlefish and okra. Adding local favorites like hoppers would make it much better. Meal Times: Dinner times from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM are too short. Breakfast should run until 10:00 AM, and dinner should be extended to 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM to give guests enough time to relax. Swimming Pool: The pool closes at 9:00 PM. This is too early for guests who want to relax after climbing Sigiriya Rock. Landscaping: The hotel is very large and gives a nice jungle feel, but the grounds are not well-landscaped or beautiful. Main Lobby: The lobby looks poor and does not feel like a main hotel lobby. It is not a nice place to take photos and needs a major quality upgrade.

The room was very large, and the bathroom featured a fantastic, big bathtub. High-quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotions were provided, all with a very nice fragrance. The room included an excellent tea and coffee setup, alongside a small, convenient kitchen with cupboards. The beds were highly comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the room was set in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature.

Bathroom Odor: The toilet produced a bad smell immediately after it was flushed. Power Outlets: The wall sockets were round-shaped, making it difficult to plug in and charge modern phones without an adapter.

L'allotjament destaca per la seva ubicació en un entorn natural preciós i per la seva fantàstica piscina. El servei del personal és excel·lent i molt servicial en tot moment. Pel que fa a l'habitació familiar, és molt confortable, àmplia i està impecablement neta. Un altre dels seus grans atractius és la gastronomia, ja que tant l'esmorzar com el sopar bufet són molt complets, amb molta varietat d'opcions i amb cuina en directe.

Com a detalls a tenir en compte, l'habitació no compta amb terrassa sinó únicament amb finestra. A més, disposar d'un sol lavabo per a una capacitat de 6 persones pot resultar un xic just en moments de molta activitat.

On arrival me and my son were really porrly so the staff gave us a free upgrade to the presidential suite to make us more comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the food was really good.

Beautiful, Peaceful Resort – Perfect for Groups We had a wonderful stay at Pinthaliya Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka. We were a large group of 25 people staying in 10 rooms, and the resort was perfect for our group. The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and located in a peaceful, remote setting. It was very quiet, relaxing, and pleasant, which made it a great place to spend quality time together away from the busy city. The staff were amazing throughout our stay—very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist us whenever we needed anything. Their hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. We were also very impressed with the food quality. Everything was fresh and delicious, and there was a good variety of food, so everyone in our group had plenty of choices. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Pinthaliya Resort. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, excellent food, and wonderful staff. Our entire group really enjoyed the stay, and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended, especially for families and larger groups looking for a peaceful getaway in Sri Lanka!

A wonderful hotel! The family room is spacious, and the swimming pool is lovely. The staff are extremely kind and always responded to every request with a smile. The breakfast is delicious and excellent. Our stay at the hotel was truly outstanding and exceeded all our expectations.

Pinthaliya Resort in Habarana was fantastic super relaxing after Sigiriya sightseeing. The suite was spacious and comfy with great AC; breakfast and dinner featured tasty Sri Lankan and Western options. The clean pool amid greenery was perfect for cooling off, and staff were friendly and helpful.

The food and hospitality of the staff were awesome.

The resort is a very calm and quiet place. I stayed one night with my family and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and polite, making our stay comfortable. The swimming pools are well maintained and clean. Food was okay .we had a pleasant experience.

The facilities in the family room I booked were extremely unsatisfactory. Water was dripping from the air conditioner, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. In addition, the staff were not supportive or helpful. The quality of the food was also poor.

A Truly Memorable Stay We had a wonderful two-night stay in a serene and peaceful location. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to assist our elderly parents, which we deeply appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the family cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience — highly recommended!

Globalement nous avons été déçus. L’hôtel a du avoir son heure de gloire mais donne plus aujourd’hui l’impression d’une fleur fanée. Cuisine très moyenne, parc un peu délaissé (pas de fleurs !), les chambres auraient besoin d’un grand rafraîchissement. Le service était aussi moyen : nous sommes restés 3 jours sans aucun nettoyage de la chambre.

Colazione e cena a buffet, cibo molto buono e abbondante. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Stanze molto belle, grandi, panoramiche. Struttura immersa nella "giungla".

Huge family rooms, great garden, close to all attractions around Sigirija. Very silent AC and ceiling fan. Good WiFi. Dinners - ok, but nothing special, very simple and not too big choice. Rooms are very clean. Garden could be better kept.

We had very uncomfortable bed mattress - too soft and creaky old double bed. But it was only in room 406. Our friends in different rooms had very comfortable mattresses and the same our children in single beds.

It's a hidden gem inside the jungle in Habarana/Sigiriya area. Even though a little gloomy and showing their age the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The furniture is made of solid wood. The bathroom is large and well equipped. The guests should park their vehicles at the car park near the gate from where they are taken in electric carts. The food served at the restaurant is delicious. There are enough walking pathways inside the hotel land as well as outside in the villages. However, don't venture out early in the morning and the evening especially alone since there can be an occasional elephant in the vicinity.

The location was great for trips to Dambulla, and Sigiriya, and Minneriya national park. It was very spread out and it felt like no one was staying there. There were 2 pools, one was very refreshing and the main one got a little warm, bot h were very clean. The bathrooms were dated but fine, there was hot water. We had 3 rooms and 1 of the rooms had a fridge. The staff were friendly and mostly spoke pretty good english. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool and really enjoyed it and the monkeys that would come and say hi.

What truly stood out was the thoughtful gesture from the team. It happened to be my father’s birthday during our stay, and when I inquired about arranging a small surprise, they went above and beyond by organizing a lovely cake at the dinner buffet, completely free of charge. This unexpected kindness made the celebration even more special and memorable for all of us. We were genuinely touched by their effort and couldn’t be happier with our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional service and a wonderful experience!

While our overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the buffet didn’t quite meet our expectations. The food quality was somewhat underwhelming—though perhaps it just didn’t align with my taste. Additionally, the variety of dishes was rather limited, which left us wishing for more options. However, considering the price we paid, it was still a reasonable offering. Although the rooms were spacious and comfortable, having a balcony would have been a great addition to enhance the experience further. It would have provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We did appreciate the hotel's effort to maintain a natural, forest-like ambience, which added a unique charm to the stay. However, a bit more tidiness and organization such as trimming some trees and refining the landscape could strike a better balance between preserving nature and offering a well-maintained environment for guests. Overall, while these aspects didn’t diminish our positive experience, a few improvements could make the stay even better.

Visited Srilanka with family in Dec 24. It is a beautiful property, large rooms n big bathrooms, very pleasant stay..breakfast, they offered English and traditional Srilankan breakfast, we are pure vegetarian, got good option. Food was tasty. Property is well maintained, staff is very polite and helpful, highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the Pinthaliya Resort, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. The resort’s breathtaking location immerses you in the heart of nature, offering the serene feeling of living in the jungle. One of our favorite features was the stunning swimming pool, beautifully surrounded by lush trees. The hospitality was exceptional, with every member of the staff being incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Nimna, Vidurinda, and Hiruni for their outstanding service and warm support. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so wonderful. We had an exceptional experience at Pinthaliya hotel. The restaurant and staff were truly amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Specially Nimna at the reception. They were attentive to all our requests and even surprised us by preparing a special birthday cake for my wife. The rooms were a bit Dusty, had to request a hair dryer wasn't in the room.

They couldn't accommodate my original booking for 6 Pax family Room. Subsequently , they offered 02 double rooms in a different place. Friendly Staff, they are trying their best to offer customer a good service with available resources. Specially we were so happy to take part in Awrudu Festival organised by the staff.

There were lot stray Dogs every where. They should have done little better for Food (Didn't have more western food ) It seems they have not maintained some areas of the environment (May be due to dry weather).

Beautiful property with lots of nature and the sounds of wildlife. We booked a family suite that was very big and spacious and the beds were very big. The staff were very friendly and professional and were always ready to assist us with our inquiries. They kept checking on us and were always asking if we needed anything. The manager was very friendly and went out of his way to satisfy our requests. The resort was only a 30 minute drive from sigiriya rock. You can also book other activities at the hotel like a safari or a local village tour which we enjoyed with the family. The food was good too and the staff prepared the food the way we liked it which was another plus.

One of the air conditioners in the room we booked wasn’t working properly and was making a loud noise which made it difficult to sleep. The remote controls for the A/C and tv needed new batteries. The hotel didn’t have a baby feeding chair which made it a little difficult since we had a baby with us. Also, there are a lot of flies in the restaurant which is quite unhygienic since they were all over our food and the restaurant is an open restaurant.

Nice wild experience at night arrival. Upon arrival, we got an upgrade. we were so happy with the room. Morning we had a nice walk around the Resort. Met Mr. Faizal the New Manager. Had a nice Sri Lankan Breakfast. super help staff at the Restaurant and very smiley Nimnaa at the Reception.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was mainly a Sri Lankan spread but the food was quite good the pool needed some upkeep, the rooms and toilets were very large but also needed some upkeep, Overall the location is quite Convenient and the staff was very supportive so can overlook any flaws in the facilities in the mainly I think due to the lack of tourism over the past years due to Covid and other issues.
