Perfect location for quiet and prettiness. Lovely playground for children. Beautiful sunrises. Lots of hot water. It's not the fancies of places but it was probably our favorite spot for comfort and ease plus having separate bedrooms was a nice perk with children.
Our stay was extremely poor and frankly, a serious safety concern. We were without power, heating, or light for an entire night during a significant storm. This was especially distressing as our 4-year-old child was also freezing, making for a miserable and worrying ordeal. Crucially, we were left with absolutely no assistance. The reception desk was closed the night of the storm, meaning we were completely abandoned and unable to seek help or guidance when we needed it most. The property's response the next day was unsatisfactory and dishonest. We were told that "all of Scotland had lost power," which was demonstrably false as stores in nearby Fort William clearly had electricity. For a large property, the lack of any backup power options (like a generator or even emergency heat/lights), coupled with staff abandoning the post during a storm, is unacceptable and shows a serious disregard for guest comfort and safety. We had a terrible, uncomfortable, and worrying time.
Great chalet Absolutely beautiful views Ideal location Helpful staff Would highly recommend
We stayed in one of the mobile homes, very clean and well kept. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but we managed. Lots of room inside, the kitchen had everything we needed.
Beautiful place, the staff are amazing and friendly. Will be back again! Thank you so much!
Plenty of space to walk the dog on the beach and around the park. Loads of bins for dog waste.
Our lochside cabin was excellent, clean, very comfortable and the view from the sitting room wonderful! The initial problem with tv reception was sorted very quickly and solved. Reception very helpful. Burger van on site very useful.
The caravan we stayed in was very dated. The mattresses were thin and we could feel the springs. They did swap them out when we asked. We were traveling from out of country and had nothing but our clothes. There are no included towels, sheets, extra toilet paper, napkins or hair dryer.
We are grateful for Kevin that he immediately responded to our call. We checked in around 1930, noticed that we had a problem with our boiler. He did his best to troubleshoot it but still not working. We were then upgraded to a new caravan nearest to the lake! He helped us transfer all our bags and goods. The place is relaxing and best sunset as well!
Lovely cabins in an amazingly beautiful setting. The view was unparalleled. Quiet, comfortable, homey. Love this property!
Great experiance , perfecy view and comfy accomodation.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom chalet as a family of five for 3 nights. Great option to use as a base to explore the surroubding area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Chalet was small but comfortable for what we needed.
Lovely camp site just a bit far out buses stop at 3-30 from there on a Sunday you definitely need a car there
Great stay with beautiful sunset view…very neat and clean . Children have a playing area as well. Didn’t find restaurants near to the property so if you don’t have a private vehicle grab some food items before reaching there. There is a CoOp in the village which is 20 to 25 minutes away from the property. The reception have snacks and ice creams
Lovely location, very basic accommodation and terrible wifi, unusable in our lodge.
The mobile home smelled like sweat man and it was gross. The main bedroom was a bit dusty. For the price I think linens should be provided and not cost additional. Kitchen was great. You have to pay for toilet paper which I think should be provided also. The view was amazing. Lovely kids playground right on the lake. The train featured in Harry Potty passes right over the bridge at the entrance of the park at 1115am and returns at 315pm. Such a cool site. Just watch out for the coal smoke that it blows.
Great for quiet rest and holiday
the holiday park was excellent in terms of location and facilities both at the park and nearby. there was plenty to do in the suurounding area. it was also lovely having the wee burger van on site.
Excellent stay, new looking caravans, clean, with great facilities. Deck around the caravans. Parking right next to caravan is the best.
Great location, friendly staff. Caravan was clean and tidy. Lovely view of the loch
Everything perfect
While we had a few problems that weren’t able to be fixed at the time, the excellent manager how’s now sorted this out with us . This didn’t spoil the beautiful view or the clean modern caravan. I would definitely recommend a visit
The view from the caravan was gorgeous, and the staff were lovely and so helpful! We had a great stay.
Absolutely fabulous break. The views, the service, the facilities, everything was spectacular. Tips: The on-site burger bar provides great breakfasts and lunches. The local buses is unreliable but Nevis taxis are excellent. The Nevis Inn has great food, and live music on Thursday evenings.
Had an excellent time, the caravan was spacious, very clean and had beautiful views. Access to site was easily identified, big signs on both sides of the road Is very Near Fort William so had all the local amenities nearby Would highly recommend Linnhe Caravan Park.
Great location for all things western Scotland, we were able to get to Loch Ness, Skye, Loch Lomond very easily. Just 15 minutes from the Glenfinnan Viaduct and 5 minutes from Fort William. Very quiet and beautiful lake with a playground for our children.
Lovely place . Nice views , friendly staff . Fabulous place to relax
Convenient checkin, flexible. Cottage on Loch. Bring bug spray since there are midges this time of year. Nice location for jump off points for site seeing and closeby for Glenfinnan viaduct. Close to Glencoe also.
It was our first stay in holiday home in Scotland and it was great. Beautiful area with all the necessary amenities (laundrette, little shop with all you might need), playground for children. The only comment to mention is that you need to pay extra for bedding, towels and bbq grill.
Excellent location. Wonderful helpful friendly staff. So easy to spend time there. Really appreciated everything.
Very clean caravan, nice and clean and maintained area overlooking the lock. The camping and camper van area the other side of the park looked a bit dated.
Beautiful views. Nice location
On the issue was we were given the wrong size bedding however once rectified they give us a reduced rate for bedding to make up for the mistake other than that fantastic location thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Fantastic park for the kids! Would definitely return so long as we get a caravan along the same area.
Great caravan with amazing views over the Loch! Everything we needed for basics cooking and decent shower. All in all great value for what we needed
Great place to stay. Can't fault it!
Very comfortable caravan with amazing views of the loch. Really nice, helpful staff. The park itself is in a great location to explore the area. We had a lovely break and will return.
Had a wonderful 4 night stay in Corrie Lodge, Loch Linnhe Lochside Holidays, on the shores of Loch Eil in March. Surprisingly 2 days were stunning with beautiful sunshine. The views from the lodge over the loch were amazing. The lodge was clean and comfortable with 4 ring cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher etc Fantastic walks nearby and Fort William is only a 15 minutes drive. We loved our stay - thank you.
Just perfect. Batteries recharged, soul revived and in love with life again. Perfect location, perfect base to explore, great accommodation, super friendly staff (the girl in reception is delightful) and landscape that is hard if not impossible to beat. Loved it, and already planning a return trip. Enjoy
The oven did not work and were charged 75$ for linens and towels for a 2 night stay. Checkout was 0930 but office didnt open until 0900 so very limited window to duscuss and problems with property
Really handy for Fort William and exploring Ben Nevis. Amazing views.
Lovely stay and beautiful lake view with short drive to the town.
It was like a place taken out of a post card. Very nice!
Our stay for 4 nights in a Gold caravan was perfect! We stayed with our 2 children (6 and 4 yrs) in September 2024. This park was booked at a very reasonable price (especially considering other prices in Fort William). The caravan had a large spacious and well furnished living/kitchen/Dining area. The bedrooms are quite small but big enough for purpose and comfortable and plenty of storage cupboards and space. The heating and water pressure in the shower was great. Staff were amazing, views of the beautiful Loch were stunning. There's an easy to use self-service laundry on site which includes detergent in the price and cycle. Two playgrounds (one at either end of the park) which are both great and have things for all ages (flying fox is good fun for grown ups too). Jacobite steam train passes multiple times daily under the bridge at the entry and makes for some great pictures. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the store in reception is well stocked with fishing gear, snacks and any essentials you may have forgotten. Cannot fault anything from our stay. We are from Australia and we will be back! Highly recommend Linnhe Lochside Holidays to all.
The loch is beautiful, the staff were helpful, and the mobile home was clean and cosy.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and you really can't beat the view! It was lovely to have a private caravan all to ourselves with such a beautiful view. But, we were shocked to find that towels and linens wouldn't be provided unless we reserved them in advance and paid an extra 30 pounds for them! There was also no soap provided in the bathroom, no extra toilet paper, and no paper towels, facial tissues, etc. so we had to go buy a bunch of essentials at the store. That is not at all convenient nor economical when you are travelling from outside the country and will only be there for 3 nights. We were also shocked at the cost to wash and dry one single load of laundry. The living room and kitchen were very spacious and comfortable (and we loved the electric fireplace), but the hallway is very tight and the doors to the bedrooms and bathroom were sort of a nightmare - they all open into each other so we were constantly opening/shutting/opening/shutting them in sequence to move from one room to the next.
The peace and quiet and the stunning views.
Nice wooden chalet with a view of the loch. The bedrooms were very small in size so there is little room to put things. It’s good that they have Netflix on the TV in the lounge area. Kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, cooker. Pots pans and cutlery are all provided. Nearest supermarket is a 15 minute drive, Fort William is also a 15 minute drive away. Harry Potter fans will have the opportunity to see the Jacobite steam train pass under the bridge.
I would like to start by saying the location of our caravan was excellent with a picturesque view and spectacular scenery. However, we did have a few issues with the caravan. Firstly, when we arrived the caravan had an unpleasant smell which remained for the duration of our stay. Secondly, the standard of cleanliness was below expectations with dust, dirt and hair present from the previous occupier on the floor, sofa and beds. The plates, glasses and mugs were also dirty, and had to be thoroughly cleaned before we could use them. Finally, there was no WiFi, which is a necessity for planning activities when phone signal is poor. If the standard of cleanliness inside the caravan is improved, Linnhe Lochside Holiday Park has the potential to be a very good Holiday Park.
Nice nature and green area. House old fashioned but ok
The whole park is really lovely, with beautiful landscaped grounds. It was quiet and relaxing. We stayed in dog friendly caravan with the beautiful Loch view. The caravan was very neat and cleaned and had everything we would need for cooking meals. Would highly recommend the site and would love to visit again.
This was a brilliant holiday. Caravan couldn’t ask for it to be any better in a perfectly placed view of the lake and the mountains. It’s lovely to wake up in the morning and go out and see the view window enjoying a nice cup of tea the day perfectly. Have an access to watch the Harry Potter train go by underneath the bridge the thrill for the kids to go underneath the bridge with the steam surrounding areas and being able to get to Ben Nevis was perfect. Price at this time of the year was excellent and it would be nice to go again thank you.
Nice and clean caravan excellent site nice and peaceful not to far away from all the attractions
Great views
Gorgeous views of the loch
It was a lovely quiet friendly place to stay
Quiet, friendly, easy check in Great view
My wife, son and I were on a 3 week trip in Scotland. After spending more than a week in York and Edingburgh this site was idyllic. The cottage was clean, comfortable and the property on Lock Linnhe was perfect for us. Check-in was easy. We enjoyed the views of Lock and mountains and the sound of birds which was a plus as we are birders. It was also the perfect location for what we wanted to do in the Fort Williams and Glencoe region. It was exactly what we needed. If we ever travel in this area again we will definitely reserve a cottage at this site again.
Beware as they expect you to put your own linen and sheets on the beds and charge extra for providing it. When they do provide, they don’t put it on for you. Apart from that, the stay was perfect.
Loved it next to the Loch. Beautiful in every sense
We stayed in one of the chalets for 3 night and enjoyed our stay very much! It was comfortable, clean and warm with a nice view of the lake. Staff were friendly - we had a kitchen tap broken and it was checked right away and fixed the next day. We would consider staying again in the future.
Excellent place to stay everything was perfect. The only problem I had was having to leave to go home the location and the views are superb. Definitely would recommend and I will definitely be going back
Such a lovely place to stay! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the view was incredible. The site has Loch frontage that will take your breath away with its beauty. The staff are so friendly and helpful too. We will be booking again!
Magnificent setting and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Clean, convenient and spacious. Very enjoyable.
Loch Linnhe is STUNNING! Even when the weather is poor is just so gorgeous. It’s really close to Glencoe and Ben Nevis, dead handy for loads of places in the highlands. Me, my wife, and the dogs LOVED it! We will definitely come again!
Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean and amazing views over the Loch.
It was really good. Location is excellent, not far from from fort William but far enough from the main streets. The caravan was pretty clean and decent enough spacious. Very good playground for kids so spend bit of time. I did find it a bit pricey though. There was an issue with leakeage in floor which was fixed immediately.
Well run site in a beautiful, quiet location. Caravan had all we needed. Would not recommend if WiFi essential.
Chalet lodges are in a great locations, have beautiful views and are equipped well for a weeks holiday. A lovely relaxed comfortable stay
Excellent accomodation, very clean and very central location to all tourist attractions like Glenfinnan Viaduct, Neptunes Staircase, Corpach Shipwreck and only a 10 min drive back to Fort William. Would highly recommend.
Lovely view over the Loch, saw the Jacobite train passing, need car as nothing close b
Absolutely gorgeous site, the views over the loch were unbelievable, 2 parks on the site and a room with toys for younger children. Caravan was lovely and clean, excellent value for what we paid, we will definitely be back
Great view, Very peaceful
We stayed here for 4 nights in July and it was brilliant, the accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable - it was a great base to explore Fort William and the surrounding area. This was our first time staying in a holiday park and it was a great experience vs our expectation. We will return! Our only constructive feedback would be the site needs a ‘tidy up’ as there are a lot of weeds etc, but that can be easily fixed.
Great location, easy access and perfect for us. It was our base and we travelled out and back daily.
Amazing lochside view from caravan. Great location, just 3 miles from Neptunes Staircase. Caravan was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Would recommend.
Had a lovely long weekend in a premium caravan with spectacular loch side views. Ideal location for exploring the area and a hike up Ben Nevis. The Jacobite steam train runs right by the holiday park so you can catch it go under the bridge at the entrance 5 mins after it leaves Fort William. The caravan was clean and comfortable but a little lacking in essentials which might make a longer stay a bit awkward. Having to bring tea towels, oven gloves, cooking oil, salt/pepper etc was OK since we weren't driving from far but would be appreciated to save packing if doing a longer stay, for example, or not traveling direct from home. If you're taller than 5'9 you may also struggle with the single beds. Stayed in early June so we did have quite a few midges. Might need a smokey BBQ or fire to enjoy the long and bright evenings!
We had a good holiday. The site is a short drive to Fort William and peaceful location
The thing showed in picture is far different from which they have provided. It’s very in con jested
Stunning view from a very comfortable 2 bed chalet
Lovely place to stay. Really easy check in and out. Good on site facilities
Excellent
Gorgeous views of the Loch. Right beside the water. Close to town and shops.
Was lovely, beautiful views, clean caravan
pet friendly
Brilliant weekend, came up to do some mountain biking, everything you need on site for after a muddy ride, we'll be back for the MTB world cup next year fingers crossed.
The peace and quiet. The view over the loch. Superb.
Great site and caravan was great for what was the economy option. Very clean and have booked again for next year.
Booked for chalet recieved platinum caravan was ok,over priced for facilities as next 2 days were at a hotel with leisure centre and include breakfasts
One of the best sites i have visited. Cant fault it. If you want a no stress location then this is it.
Amazing views of the loch! Very impressed with the site and would 100% recommend this to others and stay here again myself. The views are breathtaking the picture is from just outside our caravan which was also immaculate and comfort. Added bonus that you can also watch the train from Harry Potter pass by near the entrance of the site!
4 night vacation with the family in static at loch linnhe . Enjoyed it so much as it was easy access to the water for our paddle boards .
Great location to see the western highlands
Stayed in a lovely caravan with great views over the loch. Next to the play park so great for the kids. Caravan had everything needed (except a toaster). Would love to stay again
Beautifully maintained site where the views were fantastic
It was a small caravan ldeal for two people. Only the cabins come with a veranda if you take a dog. TV signal was oh dear, TV my monitor was bigger. Views are great, local shop within half a mile and lidl about 2 half mile away. Second bedroom ysed for cases be no good to a faily of four. Only annoying thing is check out is 09.00 to 09.30 if you are going to work thats fine, but getting up early on holiday pack and cooking breakfast clean pans strip bedding load car before 09.30 was not relaxing. But clean and tidy and quite camp.
Linnhe Lochside was an amazing place. the mobile home was clean and great!! the best thing was definitely the views out of our window each morning!
Spotless accomodation. Highly recommended.
Nice
The cabins were situated so that each overlook the loch unobstructed and we saw some beautiful sunsets. The cabin was very clean & felt very new, however this was the first we had been to with no tea/coffee or even “toilet roll” & the onsite shop is closed this season. After a 2hr drive, there was a few of us desperate for the loo & this was very disappointing, but we did have tissues fortunately. The site is 6 minutes from Costa (my priority) & 8mins total to the town centre. What really disappointed us though, was check-out is 0930hrs for ‘Covid deep cleaning’. I would have hoped that there would have ‘Always’ been a deep clean policy after check out and we felt rushed to leave the lodge and Fort William on our departure day. This was a trip with my wife and children (youngest 20), due to illness & I wanted us together to make some lasting memories. This was definitely mission accomplished and I am sure that the family will return here many times in the future.
Lovely views from lodge . The outside of lodge was shabby and needing some t l c .The oven gas pressure was low so took a long time for food to cook in the oven . Comfortable surrounding in large dog friendly room with beautiful views of garden and loch .
