Loved the family suite that we stayed in with a little kitchenette well stocked with everything you could need. Beds super comfy.location was perfect next to all the transport links and shops and restaurants.

Just didn't like leaving...will be back or certain.

We stay every year in September. Convenient for our needs and always spotless 😀 The staff are lovely.

Die Zimmer sind winzig - es gibt kein Frühstück, keinen Tisch im Zimmer, wo man selber eingekauftes Frühstück konsumieren könnte. Ausser Putzpersonal niemand im Haus präsent.

Great stay! The room itself was really nice, clean, and had everything I needed. The only downside was the bathroom, which was very small. The shower and toilet setup was quite surprising, but overall it was still a comfortable and high-value place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Martel Guest House. Our room was on the ground floor, which was very convenient, and it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The room had everything we needed, including a coffee machine, kettle with coffee, tea and milk, a fridge, safe, iron, hairdryer and air conditioning. Toiletries were also provided, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was very kind and helpful, even though we didn’t get the chance to meet him in person. He checked to make sure we had everything we needed and kindly allowed us to check in 30 minutes early, which we really appreciated. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from Golders Green station, making it easy to get around London.

Staff the cleaning ladies were so good.Very helpful and thoughtful.

The room old doors all the room need renovation. Lights were poor .Bathroom was too small and no ventilation at all.There was a very bad smell in the loo all the time and because there is no ventilation if you leave the bathroom door open it comes in your room. Most annoying was noise from upstairs so if you get this downstairs room you won't be able to sleep because of noise of walking or talking. Bathroom door can't be locked and shower space is way too small .There was a guy working on terrace so I couldn't stay there at all and he was working with machinery while I was trying to sleep after 2 long flights.

Struttura con ricettività limitata, un po' invecchiata, ma in modo gradevole. La camera era piuttosto angusta, ma prenotando con più anticipo avrei potuto averne una ampia. Sotto gli altri profili è stata una scelta ottimale: proprietario simpatico e collaborativo, parcheggio negli spazi antistanti l'edificio, vicinanza alla linea Northern della metropolitana (una delle più comode per raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione), ubicazione in zona residenziale tranquilla e gentile (mentre i ristoranti sono allineati in una parallela poco distante e non gradevole). Letto ottimo e doccia buona.

Brilliant location in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Easy walk to underground or bus transport. Free car parking on the driveway. Phil was fantastic with communication along with prompt responses to my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Other guests chatting loudly in early hours of the morning outside our ground floor window by the front door on both nights. No fault of the property though.

Good location, quiet area and close to the tube and bus station. Really nice Turkish restaurant on the Main Street. Only saw the staff a couple of times but very friendly and room relatively small but spotless and more than adequate for what we needed. Check in was easy and straightforward too!

Only minor negative was the common areas were a bit tired (scuffs in paintwork) they were clean and tidy.

Easy last minute booking. Almost instantly got a text with instructions on how to access the building. We arrived within 2 hours of booking to a lovely housekeeper who showed us to our room and got our key. The whole building smelled and looked extremely clean. Our bed was beautiful, lovely sheets, great bedding and comfortable mattress. Decor was homely. There was air-conditioning, towels, toiletries, the lot. The guest house is in a very quiet street but close enough to a tube station. Would definitely stay here again.

As advertised. No surprises. Great location.

It is situated in the perfect location, close to the train station and shops. The host provided clear instructions to check in and everything was easy to follow. The bed was comfortable and there was a small desk which was super handy.

The bathroom is a little small but it won’t stop me from booking again. The AC did leak a little bit this may have been due to using it more often due to the heatwave.

קצת קטן... המיועד שרותים ומקלחת.. אפשרות לאחסן את המזוודות ביום האחרון עד אחר הצהריים!

המיטה נוחה, החדר נקי מאוד, ומרווח (חדר קינג עם הכורסאות הירוקות), כל יום מסדרים את החדר ומחליפים מגבות, מיקום מצויין קרוב לתחנת הרכבת התחתית "Golders green" ולקווי אוטובוסים, שכונה שקטה וירוקה, קרובה לפארקים ומסעדות כשרות (וגם לא כמובן), למאפיות ומרקטים. יש מקרר קטן בחדר, עמדת קפה. פיל המארח היה מאוד תקשורתי ונחמד, ואף הסכים שנשאיר את המזוודות שלנו לאחר הצ'ק אאוט כדי שנרוויח יום נוסף בעיר. דאג מראש להשאיר לנו מפתח והוראות מדויקות. בסך הכללי מאוד ממליץ ולביקור הבא בהחלט נשוב!!

המקלחת. אם אף אחד אחר לא מתקלח במקביל היא מצויינת עם זרימה חזקה. אם יש עוד אנשים בחדרים מקבילים שמשתמשים זה מתסכל כי לא מגיעים מים חמים כלל. קרה לנו רק ערב אחד מתוך ארבעה. כל השאר היה מצויין!

Very quiet, room had everything we needed. Comfy and homely. We had air con in our room which was amazing, we had a bit of an issue with it but we let Phil know asap and he fixed immediately and provided us a fan just incase. Really would recommend

Sehr ruhige Lage mitten in einem Wohngebiet. Lage nach hinten zu den Gärten hinaus. Gute weiche Matratze. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Zu Fuß Zentrum mit Restaurants, Supermärkten etc. hervorragend erreichbar, auch der wunderbare Park Golders Green ist gleich in der Nähe. Das winzige Dusch-WC-Bad (WC, Dusche, Waschbecken alles auf einem qm) funktioniert nach kurzer Gewöhnung.

Wir hätten ein absolut ruhiges Zimmer (Nr.8) haben können - wenn nicht an der Aussenwand irgendein Lüftungskanal entlang gelaufen wäre. Somit rauschendes Geräusch rund um die Uhr. Das Warmwasser rumpelt ein wenig unzuverlässig durch den Durchlauferhitzer, mal plötzlich kühl, dann warm mit wenig Wasserdruck. Als Langhaarige habe ich hier das Haarewaschen auf unsere nächste Unterkunft verschoben.

Coziness. Very clean. The lady who was cleaning was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location.

Easy to find and quite central. I liked that there was a fridge, a safe and a desk with chair. The bed was fairly comfortable and there was a lot of hanging space for clothes. I really liked the area. The communication with the host/owner was excellent. Apart from a couple of niggles mentioned below which in the grand scheme of things were nothing really, it was a great place and I would definitely stay again if available.

The shower was a bit too small and a small cupboard would have been nice.

We loved it here, great location, comfy beds, cute patio! Natalie the housekeeper was lovely too! Just wished we could’ve stayed longer, found the prompt 10:30am checkout a challenge after a long journey and trips to Camden.

Easily accessible by car or underground. Comfortable bed.

The carpet in the room is old and probably not easily cleaned, hence there is an old carpet smell.

Fabulous location, only a few minutes’ walk to Golders Green station. Room was very quiet with a large window, a TV, a safety box and a fridge. Very comfortable.

One minor point is that the bathroom/toilet was tiny.

I would like to thank Phil for always being so prompt and helpful with all the messages/indications during mine and my friend’s stay. I also want to compliment the housekeepers who were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was very clean and in good condition for the price you pay. Underground station just 10 minutes away and very quiet/safe area.

The superking bed being two singles together made it awkward to cuddle in bed, but its understandable as the rooms are superking or twin rooms.

Staff very friendly, good facilities in room. Fridge was very welcome. Lots of milk tea and coffee left in room. Parking outside with easy walking access to busses and underground.

Close to all public transport, free parking, room comfortable and clean, close to shops and restaurants. Just a few stops from the total Free hospital, where accommodation is significantly higher priced. Will happily return for a trip to London in general.

Only improvement i could think of would be to have a microwave to be able to heat/reheat food...but understand if that is not considered desirable by the owner.

High quality fittings in the bedroom and a good bed.

Ensuite shower room was very small. Parking at the front was full up already and only a few cars can park there. Entry is stressful with a code on the door to the hotel. The coffee machine did not work which was a disaster as the hotel does not offer breakfast. We came and went without meeting any staff which was ok but strange. The price was low so these problems are to be expected.

The location (3 mins walk from Northern Tube line) and value of this guest house are exceptional. It was clean and quiet, we felt safe and it was ideal for an overnight stay (following a gig in Camden). Phil gave us plenty of information about access ahead of our visit and, for the price (£68 for a large double), Martel exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend to others and will use if we visit London again soon. Thank you!

The location close to shops and transport in a very quiet residential road. The house and room were warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean with clean towels every day and tea and coffee making facilities The houskeeper was very friendly and helpful and I'm looking forward to my next visit. .

Great safe location! Instructions from Phil were clear. Very comfy bed and our towels were changed! Also 5-6 mins to Golders Green tube / bus station - in 25 mins you are in city centre and also in around 35/40 mins in Luton airport.

Fabulous break away, although we stayed for 1 night this time, we will definitely stay here again, hopefully for a few more days. Superb, comfy and clean base for the city, as only a 5 minute walk to Golders green tube station and a further 20 minutes into the the centre by tube, in a quite and safe neighbourhood, couldn't fault it. Phil was exceptionally helpful, very accommodating and attentive in regards to parking and check in times. Will be back soon!

I loved the location of the guest house . It is very close to the tube station and there was ample parking . The communication from the host was great and very clear. The room had a lot of amenities and clearly the hosts have done their best to be as helpful as possible. The bed linen was clean and nice.

My room was very very small. The decor was dated and the bathroom was functional but not very nice. It wont put me off as the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Maybe next time I will get a larger room. I would be prepared to pay more for a nicer room in this property.

Il quartiere tranquillissimo tipico inglese, era un piacere passeggiare per arrivare alla metropolitana ( 5 Min a piedi ) La casa è tipica inglese, sicuramente un'esperienza più autentica del solito hotel 🏨 . La camera king era confortevole per due persone, abbiamo trascorso 3 notti, era sempre pulita e in ordine, silenziosa, il letto era comodissimo

La struttura, pur trovandosi in una zona non centrale, è vicina alla stazione della underground ed è vicina alla fermata del pullman da e per Luton airport. Intorno ci sono negozi per la colazione, supermercati e molto altro per pasti veloci o più lunghi. Il parco di Hampstead non è molto lontano ed è raggiungibile a piedi. La nostra camera era spaziosa, pulita e profumata, con letti comodi. Il vicinato silenzioso e tranquillo. Phil è molto disponibile e raggiungibile telefonicamente. Ci tornerò!

Parking was really cool. location easy to get too. Bottles of water and a fridge was a nice touch. Pillows were comfortable and best we had in a hotel before.

Nette kamer, nabij openbaar vervoer, max 30 min tot aan centrum van Londen, nette buurt, goede communicatie.

Douchen in de badkuip, warmwater voorziening luidruchtig en niet constant. Kamer was erg klein, goed om te slapen maar weinig beweegruimte.

The room was clean and quiet. There was a nice coffee maker in the room and a sachet of decent coffee available each morning which was nice. The toilet / shower space is small but was fine for me. There is a shower curtain to pull around when taking a shower. The single room is small but has everything you might need including fridge, safe, wardrobe etc. The instructions and communication was great.

Old furniture

A large and comfortable room. A wide bed, a comfortable mattress. Very clean, welcoming and warm. The staff was helpful and the owner was responsive and engaged. The room was cleaned every day, coffee capsules were refilled for the coffee machine and the beds were made. The bathroom was small but very comfortable, well maintained. All necessary toiletries were provided - shampoo, shower gel, soap. Thanks to the Martel team, our stay in London was wonderful.

The sink located inside the bedroom creates a slight inconvenience. But we really have no complaints.

Ein wirklich kleines Einbettzimmer, aber der Raum optimal ausgenutzt und in vielen Details alles da, was man braucht. Ruhige Lage, gut geschlafen, nettes Ambiente.

Das Bad ist sehr klein, nach dem Duschen ist alles nass. Die Dusche ist gewöhnungsbedürftig: man kann die Temperatur einstellen, aber nicht die Stärke. Ein schwacher Strahl, sehr öko, aber etwas unbequem.
