Well located, staff friendly and helpful, the size of the room ok, the air conditioning worked sometime
The bathroom was moldy, the sink had a broken pipe, so when you turn on the faucet the water drains, the room was not clean, in fact we moved the bed and found sausages lying around, which indicates that they do not clean properly, the towels smelled musty, and the bed caused us back pain, not what I expected.
loction,
No hanger for hang your clothes
Many things
Excellent location, helpful staff. Not affiliated but the store outside reception offers laundry service which was very good.
The bathroom was slightly under furnished, some basic amenities like a towel rack would improve the stay
It wasn't a hotel room, it was an apartment converted to a into something resembling a hotel room. I had to lock two doors when I went out and cary three old keys . There were no hot water. Amenities were lacking, there was no where to hang the towel, no hangers for the clothes. It was reasonably clean though there water on the floor. I was too tired too argue so I went to sleep and left urly the next morning...
It is very peaceful to stay there. Centre of everything.
Location close to river.
Noise, WiFi not working and bad signal.. Room is not in same location as pictures
Just near royal palace
The location…
The lift was good as we were on the 8th floor
The bathroom stank of sewer, there was no air flow. And it was so hot in there which made it smell worse. If you left the bathroom door open you could smell it in the room. We couldn’t book tours or a bus through the hotel, they weren’t very helpful. We asked for an extra towel and we were given a wet towel.
Location was near the Royal Palace
The images are a scam. We were taken to a different building that was stinking of fish or meat and given a old and dilapidated room. The room was without basic facilities like functional charging sockets only one worked. The washroom was smelling all through. The linen was dirty and stained and had the name of some other hotel written on top. There were huge rats roaming around. The staff were not visible after receiving payment. This stay spoilt our Phnom Penh trip.
the staff were so helpful we went on a little road trip and they offered to look after our luggage and do our laundry while we were gone and we came back two days later with everything safe and sound, the location is fantastic !
The location is good
The hallways are so smelly
Very disappointed with our experience. We booked the Budget Double Room. The pictures do not match the actual room at all. We were informed that only one of the Budget rooms looks like this, way more fancy, spacious and has a window. Our room was about half the size, had no window and it was not extremely clean. The bed was broken - one side of the frame (the footer) just fell off and the bed was slanted, as the slats of the bed were completely broken. We didnt have a window, so the room felt weird and we couldnt get any fresh air. The toilet flush didnt work all the time. The woman from the reception was very kind and tried to help but the bed is not fixable and so nothing changed about our stay. She informed us that many have complained about the different pictures to the actual room, however he doesnt want to change the pictures on booking. Our room is not worth the price.
The details say that they accept Visa, they don't. Checked in and paid and then was told there was no water in the room. Was later offered a separate room to shower in but not an alternative room with running water. The room was dirty, floor needed a clean, air con was mouldy and smelled. Bathroom and balcony had stains and were also dirty. Outside reception smelled badly of urine. Other guests were complaining about extra charges and incorrect bills. Customer service was lacking.
Great location and price, very polite and helpful staff. Only problem was the really bad smell all through the entrance hallway all along the ground floor.
Location is probably the only positive point
Pictures on the website did not reflect the actual rooms, corridors, bathrooms. We were escorted to a separated building, no elevator, the lobby smelled like garbage (noise during the night accessing some walk-in freezers). There is an access code to enter but the door was left opened most of the time. Rooms have windows to the corridor only. Seating arrangement right below my window where people could go, seat and chat all night. Did not feel safe as door have very poor lock system.
Not worth the $20. Sketchy. It's already down an Alley way, my room wasn't attached to reception. I assumed it would be upstairs but was taken to another building. It did have a pin coded locked door but it was weird. The room was not as pictured. There's was 30cm of space at the end of the bed and far side, 1M between the wall and other side. The window was to the hall way. It was tiny, felt claustrophobic. Luckily checked in at 7pm and left at 5am. The walls were dirty too. Did not feel comfortable.
Cockroaches inside the room and rats running about in the corridor. Aircon barely worked so the room was a furnace. WiFi also didn’t really work. Room looks much older than in the photos
I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, we had to walk through a butcher house to reach our room—something that was never mentioned in the listing. The room itself was unclean, with stained bed sheets (including lipstick marks on the pillowcases) and an overwhelming smell of blood from below. Noise continued throughout the night, and we felt generally unsafe. The next morning, we discovered mould on the bed. When we asked to move to a room in the main hotel, we were told we could only do so if we paid extra. At that point, we decided to check out and find alternative accommodation. To make matters worse, we later found out that this hotel has a duplicate listing on Booking.com with a much lower and seemingly more accurate rating—while we had booked based on an 8.5 rating, which does not reflect the reality of this place. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Nothing!
The "hotel" was in a dirty side street and we got brought into a different building where the hallway already smelled like piss and other excrements. The room didn't look like the pictures at all and the bedsheets were dirty and made us feel uncomfortable so we used our own travel sheets. The bathroom smelled like sewer and poop-like substances were dropping out of leaks on the wall, it was a blast! Additionally we had a couple of roommates we didnt know about, a colony of ants! Interestingly when we looked at the reviews before we didnt see all the bad comments warning people from this place, only saw the positive (surely fake) reviews. Now after our stay we are able to see all the bad comments and can't agree more... Hope you avoid the place for your own sanity :)
Room is ok and affordable
The budget room was horrible . So i had to upgrade to a normal room . Which was good but expensive. :(
Sincerely nothing. It’s a rip off!
Absolutely rip off. Choose a different place! Seriously.
Location fantastic to be fair
Was so noisy, felt unsafe at night, wifi non existent, bad value for money, dirty bed sheets, basic room, no lamp, huge light outside, no proper window
Seems it was under construction. Generous room, affordable. Funny, friendly staff.
A bit of a maze.
Okay and average room
Great location and super attentive staff. Nice elevator.
Bathroom was flooding and smelled of mold. That’s about it !
Sejour agreable. Hotel bien placé
Ok
The location was good. It was near to tourist attractions and good restaurants/ food stalls.
The hotel is a scam. It shows well furnished and well lit rooms on its website listing, but in reality, provides old, run-down rooms with no windows, broken/ leaky bathroom fittings and broken air-conditioning. The hotel owner and staff are rude, and do not even have simple decency of helping with luggage. The hotel we were provided did not even have an elevator, so we had to bring our luggage on our own, through numerous flights of stairs. The hotel staff did not even bother to clean the room, or provide water bottles or fresh towels. Except for the location, everything about the hotel was crappy. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Phnom Penh.
